When a traitor to the Legendary Pokemon is revived by the actions of one man. Arceus prepares to send Pokemon to the man world to stop him. But Giratina has a different idea. Giratina takes a man from Hisui and turns him into the first person with Legendary power. With this power, this man will bring calamity to this world, along with the help of a certain woman.

6. Chapter 6

Hello everyone, with Scarlet and Violet out, I will add the Pokemon to this story, but like I said in a previous chapter, no region forms, and I won't add Terastal. Now before we start. If you haven't heard by now.

My Trainer Of Vesperia story is almost over, and I'm having a vote for what story should replace it. This new story will be a Pokemon crossover, with stuff from Gen 9 mixed in it like how this one is mixed with Gen 3. The vote has already started and it will end a week after I post the very next chapter of Fire emblem. Now for the stories you can vote for.

1. The first option is something Nitro Zeus told me about. It's called Mysticons. Mysticons is a fantasy world mixed with the common things we have in our lives. The show is about a group of girls gaining an ancient power as old darkness returns to the world.

Now for a taste of the crossover. Madness burns a world to the ground, and with the help of a phantom 2 children and their Pokemon escape to Drake City, on a world where Pokemon have lived in peace with the natives inhabited for over a thousand years. But them being there will cause darkness to return, but they will also bring heroes back to this world.

2. The second one is from my friend Phantom Cross, he thought I would do another Tales game, and after thinking about it. I picked Tales Of The Abyss. A game where our heroes are caught in the middle of two groups, one trying to make things go down their path and the other trying to burn the world to break free of this path.

Now for a taste of the crossover. Meeting with a relick that is said to break the world from the score brings much more than planned. Now the world has changed, can fate be as well.

3. The last one is also from Nitro Zeus. It's called Lolirock. A gentle show where a girl finds out she is magical and is the last hope to stop a great evil. But all she wants is to be a singer, not a magical princess.

Now for a taste of the crossover. Two girls with a dream to be performers in a world that has been changed thanks to Pokemon shouldn't have to be mixed with monsters and evil magic users going after them.

4. This is the wild vote, if you all have a good idea for a Pokemon Crossover with scarlet and Violet, and if I like the idea, it will go here, and we'll see what others think. (P.S. No How to Train Your Dragon. Not that I don't want to do that. I feel like it would be better if it wasn't limited to just Gen 9, and maybe it will replace Korra when I'm done when her story is over.)

Now the rules for the vote are simple. First the votes should be a review, so others can see it, and see if they also like your idea for the Gen 9 Crossover. You can vote for at most two stories, just in case you can't pick between the two. And I will not count votes from someone whose name is just "Guest". This doesn't mean you have to have an account to vote, or that it has to be a real name. I just want us to be honest, and not have someone with only a "Guest" name vote for the story he or she wants 10 times. And one more new rule, please vote only once.

Chapter 6

A Meeting With An Unholy Priest

After getting back into the city, and returning all the Pokemon to the Pokeballs, everyone returned to the tavern, with the old lady waiting for them at the counter. Once the door closed, the Mismagius phased through the ceiling and moved to the old lady's left side.

"Welcome back. That must have been hard work. How does mabo curry sound to you? I also have our specialty peach pie on hand…" The old lady said to everyone, making Laphicet excited, but Velvet stopped her. "We had a deal. Spill it." Velvet said to the old lady, causing Laphicet to feel sad. "Ah, ruining the boy's joy. But if you wish. Care to explain?" Mismagius said to Velvet and asked the old lady.

"Shepherds Artorius has gone north. Up the Danann Highway, at the Abbey's newest temple: The Empyrean's Throne. He is expecting to be there for a while." The old lady said to Velvet. "Are they relocating there?" Rokurou asked the old lady. "In a sense, yes. They're holding a ritual to move the seat of the Empyrean Innominat." The old lady said to everyone, surprising Zane.

"Innominat… In other words, the Abbey's new god." Velvet said to everyone. "That's not good. They must be planning something." Zane said to everyone. "It is a very serious affair. So I imagine Melchior will be there, along with other high exorcists." The old lady said to Eizen. "Suits us fine." Eizen said to the old lady. "I might even find him there…" Rokurou said to everyone.

"That will do. Somewhere in there we'll find a chance to strike." Velvet said to everyone. "Perhaps… But be aware that security near the Throne is on high alert." The old lady said to Velvet. "We'll manage to get through." Velvet said to the old lady. "No, you won't. You may be able to fool the guards, but there's no tricking the barrier they've put up. They've used artes to erect a giant wall keeping outsiders away." The old lady said to Velvet.

"But they have to get through themselves. That implies some sort of key, right?" Velvet asked the old lady. "Yes. In fact. One of our people is looking into that as we speak. However, I'm afraid…" The old lady said to Velvet, but Velvet interrupted her. "It'll cost us." Velvet said to the old lady.

Zane then sighed. "Okay then what job do we have to do, in order for you to tell us how to get past this barrier?" Zane asked The old lady. "You two learn quickly. And here's the bill." The old lady said to Velvet and Zane, passing them a piece of paper.

"Assassinate High Priest Gideon of Midgan Cathedral. The info must be juicy." Zane said to everyone. "OK, now we're REALLY not being nice." Rokurou said to everyone. "Consider it done." Velvet said to the old lady, before turning away.

"Aren't you going to ask why you have to kill a high priest?" The old lady asked Velvet. "I imagine it's because he's the one controlling the Nectar supply. The church is the sole producer and distributor of a highly addictive substance. They rake in huge profits, while the common man, along with your people, suffer for it. Does that cover it?" Velvet asked the old lady.

"You noticed your tasks were related." The old lady said to Velvet. "It wasn't hard, if you think about it. First, burn a warehouse full of Nectar. Second, free Pokemon digging out minerals for the Nectar. Third, stopping your men from attacking Abbey people, who were moving Nectar. And now this job. Makes sense he's the one behind all this Nectar nonsense." Zane said to the old lady.

"And that was the real test, wasn't it?" Velvet asked the old lady. "And you two passed. Now matter how skilled you are, you have to know more than how to swing a sword to earn my trust." The old lady said to Velvet and Zane.

"Don't misunderstand my intentions. I'm willing to do anything if it brings me to Artorius. I ditched my scabbard long ago." velvet said to the old lady. "Plus your trust isn't worth much. If trouble comes, or we betray you. You'll sell us out to save your skin or for revenge. After all, business is business for people like us." Zane said to the old lady.

"I see the girl is the embodiment of a bare blade. And the boy is the one who knows how things go in this business." The old lady said. "I gotta say I like these two." Mismagius said to the old lady. "A more formal introduction is in order. I am Tabatha Baskerville, leader of the Bloodwing Butterflies." The old lady said to everyone. "And while I'm a Mismagius, Tabatha calls me Naomy." Mismagius said to everyone.

"Well then. My name is Zane Kuro, and I hope we have a long and healthy relationship." Zane said to Tabatha. "I'm Velvet. Tell us about this high priest." Velvet asked Tabatha. "Each evening, he prays for protection from calamity at the royal villa on the Castle Loegress grounds. Tradition holds that the high priest should be alone for the prayer. That would seem the best time to strike." Tabatha said to everyone.

"How do we get into the villa?" Velvet asked Tabatha. Tabatha handed Velvet some papers. "Carry this insignia with you, and allies of the Bloodwings will offer you their aid." Tabatha said to Velvet. "We'll hold our end. Just find about that key." Velvet said to Tabatha.

"Well, if the job is later tonight, maybe we have some food, and a room to take a nap?" Zane asked Tabatha. "Of course? Consider it a last meal. Just in case." Tabatha said to Zane.

A few minutes later everyone was sitting at a table, and was eating the meal Tabatha made from them. But Velvet was having a hard time eating the food. "Uh, Velvet, are you okay? Laphicet asked Velvet. Velvet said nothing to Laphicet, and just kept eating, even if it tasted bad.

Velvet then noticed Laphicet looking at her. "It's nothing." Velvet said to Laphicet. "But you seem…" Laphicet said to Velvet, but Velvet interrupted him. "I said it's nothing!" Velvet said to Laphicet in a harsh tune. This made Laphicet duck under the table.

"She's just not happy about all this nectar nonsense." Zane said to Laphicet, making Laphicet raise his head out from under the table. "If nectar made from vermillion ore is so bad for your health that it was banned, why are they making it?" Laphicet asked everyone.

"They made it because it was banned." Rokurou said to Laphicet. "Huh?" Laphicet asked. "Just because the powers that be say a rule is for the greater good, it doesn't mean that everyone will see eye-to-eye with them. If Tabatha's mabo curry was outlawed, would you really be able to never eat it again?" Rokurou asked Laphicet.

"I wouldn't like it… But if it's against the rules…" Laphicet said, before his stomach growled. Zane then started to mess with Laphicet's hair. "Looks like his stomach picked his answer." Zane said to everyone, making everyone but Velvet laugh, with Laphicet being embarrassed a little. "Well, you'll get hungry no matter what. People want what they want." Rokurou said to everyone.

"But anything forbidden is bound to be rare, they become expensive." Eizen said to everyone. "So that's why people make it." Laphicet said to everyone. "The world isn't a simple place. There's an underside to everything." Velvet said to everyone. "An underside?" Laphicet asked everyone.

"Contract killers, secret weapons dealers, loan sharks that charge outrageous interest… Pirates like me, the folks who offered us morning for information, and the guild at Hellawes are all part of it." Eizen said to Laphicet. "As are the people who dye chicks blue to sell them at a higher price, and the people who bet on alleyway bug fights." Rokurou said to Laphicet, making Laphicet gasp.

"And they'll come to you with a smile, so you can't let your guard down if you want to stay safe." Rokurou said to Laphicet. "What sort of bugs do they make fights?" Laphicet asked Rokurou. "THAT'S the part that got your attention?" Rokurou asked Laphicet, making Zane laugh. "This kid has a lot to learn if he wants to be a bad guy like the rest of us." Zane said to everyone.

After they finished eating, they all left and took a nap before the job. Everyone but Eizen, who was talking to Tabatha. "We know for a fact that Captain Aifread was on the prison island for a period of time. And it's true that Melchior took him away. However, I'm afraid that is where the tail grows cold." Tabatha said to Eizen.

"In any case, we can be sure that the Abbey has him captive." Eizen said to Tabatha. "But what could they possibly want with him? If their aim is merely to fight piracy, they'd publicly execute him or try to lure you out, would they not?" Tabatha asked Eizen. "And yet they've done neither. Total silence." Eizen said to Tabatha.

"I wonder… could it be they want to get their hands on the relic some say Aifread brought back from the far continent?" Tabatha asked Eizen. 'The relic from across the sea? Have rumors of that strange thing been going around?' Eizen asked himself in his head.

"It's possible. There was a certain relic that the captain was curiously taken with. Kept it safe." Eizen said to Tabatha. "What was it?" Tabatha asked Eizen. "That's our business. I'll speak no more of it. But if that's truly what they're after. I highly doubt the villa is where they're keeping him locked up. That's not where they keep their torture implements." Eizen said to Tabatha.

"Quite true. At any rate. I thank you for sharing what secrets you could." Tabatha said to Eizen. "I wish you the best of luck on your search for more information." Eizen said to Tabatha before going to his room.

Meanwhile in Velvet's room. Velvet was dreaming she was in some ruins, eating anything and everything. "More… More…" Velvet said, eating. But then Velvet stopped when she noticed a dead Laphi in front of her, freaking her out. I'm sorry I didn't mean to…! But I'm hungry… I'm so hungry…" Velvet said, hugging her legs.

"If survival is at stake, an elder sister eating her brother before he inexorably wastes away is nout outside the bounds of reason." a voice said to Velvet. Velvet turned around to see Artorius. "You needn't hold back, Velvet. Eat Laphicet." Artorius said to Velvet, smiling.

Velvet's eyes were showing signs of wreaking out. "No. NOOOOOOO!" Velvet screamed, covering her head. That's when she heard a squishy noise. She looked up to see Zane behind Artorius, one of his blades threw Artorius' chest, making blood run down Artorius' clothes.

"You've done enough bad things to her. Now die!" Zane said, slashing up, killing Artorius. Looking at Artorius' body, Velvet didn't notice Zane kneeling down to her. "Come on, let's go." Zane said to Velvet, holding out a hand. "No, leave me." Velvet said to Zane, turning away from him.

"If I was going to leave you, I would have done it already." Zane said to Velvet, picking her up, and carrying her like a princess in his arms. "Now then, where do you want me to take you?" Zane asked Velvet. "Uh, could you find me something to eat?" Velvet asked Zane nervously. "Of course? What kind of man could I be if I couldn't provide for you." Zane said to Velvet, walking, as he carried Velvet.

Velvet then started to walk up, only to find Zane in her bed again, and this time they were lying face to face, and even holding hands. "AH!" Velvet screamed, sitting up, making Zane wake up. "Uh? What is it?" Zane asked, sitting up, and noticing he was in the same bed as Velvet, and Velvet was mad.

"Care to explain?" Velvet asked Zane. "Hey this time I didn't drunkenly walk into your bed. The last thing I remember was standing in front of Ludo, then some strange lights came from his eyes, and then everything went black." Zane said to Velvet. "Yeah. we asked Ludo to do that to you." A female voice said to Zane.

That's when Zane and Velvet noticed Eshu, Aguya, and Liz laying on the floor next to the bed. "We figured you want a good nap. And giving how peaceful you were when Zane was in the same bed as you. Had Ludo use Hypnosis on Zane, and threw Zane into Velvet's bed." Eshu said to Zane and Velvet. "And I couldn't resist and made it so you too were holding hands." Liz said to Zane and Velvet, laughing a little at them.

That's when Velvet stepped on Liz. "If you three, keep doing this to us. I'll do a lot more than just step on you." Velvet said to the Pokemon. "Velvet, they only think of you when they do this. And it's not like we're doing anything big." Zane said to Velvet. "What were you doing?" a male voice asked Zane.

Startled, Velvet swung her blade at the sound of the voice. "Velvet wait!" Zane said to Velvet, stopping Velvet. That's when Velvet noticed it was Laphicet, with her blade almost hitting Laphicet. "What… Why…?" Velvet asked, putting her blade away.

"Magilou said you two could be having some fun? I wanted to see what game you were playing?" Laphicet said to Velvet, with a nervous tune in his voice. Velvet and Zane looked at each other for a few seconds, before realizing what Magilou was talking about, making them both blush. Embarrassed, Velvet got off the bed, and faced away from everyone.

"Be more careful around me! Both of you. You both know full well I'm a daemon!" Velvet said to Laphicet and Zane, with a threatening voice. "I'm… sorry…" Laphicet said to Velvet, feeling he did something wrong, and left. "Ngh… Damn!" Velvet said. "Awake or asleep, it's all one long nightmare. Smashing objects together is destruction. Smashing feelings together is life. But objects, tools… so much easier to abuse and toss aside." Magilou said to Velvet.

"What does that mean?" Velvet asked Magilou. "It means break time is over. Time to get to work, sweetie!" Magilou said to Velvet, before leaving. "Can you all give us a minute?" Zane asked the Pokemon. The Pokemon nodded yes and left Zane and Velvet alone.

"Velvet are you okay?" Zane asked Velvet. "Why do you care? I'm just a distraction for you." Velvet said to Zane, looking away from Zane. "That may have been the reason I freed you. But that doesn't mean it's all you are to me." Zane said to Velvet, walking up to her, and grabbed her right hand.

"Even though I'm a monster?" Velvet asked Zane, summoning her deamon claw. "Like I'm an exorcist." Zane said to Velvet, turning into his Giratina form. "We both may be monsters in the eyes of the world. But why should we care? We'll do what we want, and take our vengeance." Zane said to Velvet, letting go of her hand, turning back to normal, and walking away.

"You know? I don't know why you're so set on killing Artorius?" Velvet asked Zane, making Zane stop. "The man killed his brother in cold blood, and turned his lovely sister into a monster. Do you need much more than that to want him dead?" Zane asked Velvet, before walking out of the room. "No I guess not." Velvet said, before following Zane.

A few minutes later, everyone left the tavern, Pokemon in Pokeballs, and walked to where they were meeting their contact. While walking Laphicet was hiding behind Rokurou. Velvet noticed this, and felt bad. "Heh heh. Good thing I showed up in time." Magilou said to Velvet. "You're the reason he's like this." Zane said to Magilou.

"Don't be mean. After all, I'm coming to help." Magilou said to Zane. "Don't tell me you're coming too." Velvet said to Magilou. "Sojourn alongside the gloomy daemon-lady and herald of pitch black darkness, and the exorcist controlling Bienfu is sure to appear. I told my own fortune, and there it was!" Magilou said to Velvet.

"Do your fortunes actually hold water?" Rokuroiu asked Magilou. "I've been in the castle before, you know "How useful to have Magilou along" they said in the future." Magilou said to everyone. "How useful to have Magilou along. If we need a meat shield she'll be perfect for the job." Zane said to Magilou, cracking a wicked smile.

"The great Magilou is not a meat shield!" Magilou said to Zane, getting frustrated. "Get in my way, and I'll either give you the boot or use you as a meat shield." Velvet said to Magilou, before they started to walk.

After a bit, they found a knight, with a red scarf, standing over a manhole. "Let's see your papers." The knight asked everyone. Velvet pulled out the papers Tabatha gave her. "Checks out." The knight said to Velvet, moving off the manhole. "This tunnel over here connects to the castle. It should put you inside the villa." The knight said to Velvet.

Everyone then went through the manhole, and found themselves in the sewers. They let out their Pokemon, Zane turned into his Giratina form and started to walk through the sewer. That's when Laphicet tripped on his own feet, and Velvet caught him. Velvet said nothing to Laphicet, as she helped him up and started to walk away. "Tha…" Velvet tried to say to Velvet, but Velvet walking away, made him lose confidence.

Magilou then walked up to Laphicet, with a smile on her face. "Watch your step, boy. There are giant crocodiles in those waters." Magilou said to Laphicet. "Crocodiles?!" Laphicet asked Magilou. "A croc's favorite meal is wiches." Eizen said to everyone. "All right, onward and inward! Everyone but Magilou, tread carefully!" Rokurou said to everyone. "Some assassins' crew we are." Velvet said, as everyone started to move through the sewer.

"The Bloodwings are a serious organization. I'm impressed that they know about this entrance." Laphicet said to everyone. 'And they have agents on the inside to facilitate this little operation, too." Rokurou said to everyone. "They must have branches working all over the empire. They've probably even figured out how to get cats and dogs working for them." Eizen said to everyone.

"Here's a juicy morsel about them! They make sure even their corpses go to good use." Magilou said to everyone. "They what?!" Laphicet asked. "Long ago, one of their agents stole into the castle… when the guard discovered him, they chased him to this very passage. He dove into the water to escape and then… CRUNCH!" Magilou said to Laphicet, scaring Laphicet.

"A crocodile devoured him in one massive bite! All that remained was his arm, bobbing to the surface. From this, two important facts were learned…" Magilou said to Laphicet. "What were they?" Laphicet asked Magilou. "First, they learned of the existence of this passage. Second, they could serve crocodile meat in town. Crocodile meat rubbed with human blood becomes tender and succulent… Perfect for mabo curry." Magilou said to

"Then, I ate…" Laphicet said, freaking out. That's when Zane punched Magilou in the back of the head, knocking Magilou down. "She's lying Laphicet. She's just trying to scare you." Zane said to Laphicet. "But if she was. I'll have to try it… rubbed with the blood of a lying witch." Velvet said to everyone.

"That would hit the spot, I think." Rokurou said to everyone. "And I wouldn;t even affect our combat strength." Eizen said to everyone. "Hey, the kid's a wreck! It was just a joke to help calm him down." Magilou said to everyone, giving Eshu an idea, and moved to behind Magilou. That's when everyone noticed a crocodile in the water behind Magilou.

"Hey Magilou don't move." Zane said to Magilou. "Huh why?" Magilou asked, turning around. That's when she noticed a crocodile right behind her. "AAHH!" Magilou yelled, jumping back. That's when the crocodile started to laugh. "I knew that would be funny." A familiar voice said from the crocodile. That's when the crocodile turned into Eshu.

"That's not funny!" Magilou said to Eshu. "It was pretty funny." Laphicet said to Magilou. "And something you deserve after trying to scare Laphicet." Zane said to Magilou. Why you little monster. After I am the…" Magilou said to Zane, but was interrupted by Velvet forcing her in the water.

"Let's keep moving." Velvet said to everyone. "You heard the woman. Let's go." Zane said to everyone, as they started to move. "I'll get you for this, witch-killers!" Magilou said to everyone, before going after everyone.

After a bit, Magilou noticed Velvet looking gloomy. "Why so glum, Velvet? The thought of killing a man weighing heavy even on your own damaged conscience?" Magilou asked Velvet. "Not especially. But I wonder how you remain so flippant about it." Velvet said to Magilou. "Hey, I'm not here to murder anyone. I'm just tagging along in search of my traitor." Magilou said to Velvet, making Velvet mad a little..

"Do we have to kill him? Can't we just make him stop this nectar business?" Laphicet asked everyone. "Please tell me you're joking?" Zane asked Laphicet. "I don't think he'd listen to us." Rokurou said to Laphicet. "Huh?" Laphicet asked.

"Word in the taverns is that this high priest is a real shady character. The Abbey and their religion are popular now, but three years ago no one had heard of them. High Priest Gideon was the one who led the church through those dark days." Rokurou said to Laphicet.

"But once malakhim became visible to the general public, and they learned how effective malak artes were against daemons, that all changed." Eizen said to Laphicet. "Humans are such fools, only believing what they can see with their own eyes." Magilou said to Laphicet.

"And once the church had attained popular support, a nasty power struggle swept through the ranks. Many vied for the mantle of high priest, Charlatans, power-hungry converts… but they all faded away." Eizen said to everyone.

"They left the church?" Laphicet asked Eizen. "No, they all met their maker. Some from disease, others from accidents. And in the end, Gideon became High Priest." Rokurou said to Laphicet, making Laphicet gasp. "He may be the head of the church, but the people clamor for Shepherd Artorius. That's gotta sting." Magilou said to everyone.

"And to mend his wounded pride, he sells something that people get addicted to, so people cling and worship him instead of Artorius." Zane said to everyone. "Either way, if we're to face him, he might have some tricks up his sleeve. We'll need to keep our eyes open." Rokurou said to everyone. "It doesn't matter who he is. We just do our job." Velvet said to everyone, before they all started to walk again.

After a bit, they found their way into the villa, and found themselves in a small library. "A library? This is unexpected." Velvet said to everyone. "Wow!" Laphicet said, amazed by the sight. "I guess the boy's a bookworm." Zane said to Velvet, quietly.

"Ohohoh, well, isn't THIS a rare collection of tomes! You royals sure have coffers to burn." Magilou said to everyone, touching a shelf, making it move, revealing another self. "Oooh! Books in the ancient tongue!" Laphicet said to everyone, looking at the book. "Can you read it?" Rokurou asked Laphicet. "Well, no, but… I just…" Laphicet said.

"This has nothing to do with our job." Velvet said to everyone. Laphicet lowered his head. That's when Velvet walked up and picked an old red book with a sun like symbol on it. Velvet gave the book to Laphicet. "Huh…?" Laphicet asked, taking the book. "If you want it, just take it. Don't pretend to be noble. You're consorting with daemons." Velvet said to Laphicet.

"Good grief, Velvet. You can't lighten up for once in your life?" Rokurou said to Velvet. "Lighten up? Did you forget we're here to kill someone?" Velvet asked Rokurou. "But even when you're just in the tavern. You're still wound up, you gotta relax more. Stress is not good for you. Have some tea." Cheche said to Velvet, as it moved to Velvet.

Velvet then swatted Cheche away, and started to walk away. "You really want that ratty old thing? There's gotta be way pricier ones." Magilou asked Laphicet. Laphicet nodded his head no. Then they started to leave the library.

That's when they found the library was part of a curved pathway, and they had two paths in front of them. "So, Magilou. Which way to the worship hall?" Velvet asked Magilou. "Hmm. Which way is it?" Magilou playfully asked. "I asked you a question." Velvet asked Magilou.

"I told you I've been here before, but I never said I was an EXPERT." Magilou said to Velvet. "And I said we'd dump you if you started to annoy me." Velvet said to Magilou, getting mad. "Dump me? They'll need to look for a trash can first." Magilou said to Velvet, making Velvet sigh.

"I'm the fool for even TRYING to hold a conversation with you." Velvet said to Mgilou. "Thaaat's the spirit. Loosen up those shoulders, and the way forward ought to make itself plain!" Magilou said to Velvet, before they started to walk in a random direction.

Threw some dumb luck, they found the worship hall, and a man in white robes was standing at the altar alone. "Are you Gideon?" Velvet asked the man. "I am in prayer at the are you?" The man asked Velvet. "I asked you first." Velvet said to the man. "Such ill manners… But what else could I expect of a daemon?" The man asked, surprising everyone.

"Stop right there!" a female voice said to everyone. That's when Eleanor, Joy, Eleanor's malak, and some Abbey soldiers came out of hiding. With the soldiers where a few small light blue creatures, with a stubby body, stumps for legs, a round head, eyes that looked like a up arrow a plump on the top of their heads, two arms on the side of their heads that looked like dopey dog ears, and a black flat tail, with a eye on it.

"Another accurate augury!" Magilou said to everyone. "An ambush." Eizen said to everyone. "Is this more of your reaper's curse? Or do you think the old lady sold us out?" Rokurou asked Eizen.

"I think this was all Eleanors doing. The old lady and Eizen had nothing to do with this. After all, she brought some defensive Pokemon like Wynaut." Zane said to everyone. "Wynaut?" Laphicet asked Zane. "Wynaut, The Bright Pokemon. A Psychic type. They're not very strong, but they make up for it with numbers and strong defense moves." Zane said to everyone.

"You figured it out, didn't you? That he's running the Nectar operation." Velvet said to Eleanor. "Indeed. I followed up on each of the incidents you caused, and the trail led me all the way to the High Priest Gideon." Eleanor said to Velvet.

"Yet you still defend him?" Velvet asked Eleanor. "The punishment he deserves is for the Abbey to administer." Eleanor said to Velvet. "Punishment?! How dare you! Do you realize how much I've done for the good of the Abbey?" Gideon asked Eleanor. "Do you really think we care about your Abbey's nonsense? We came here to kill him. And if that means going through you to do it. Well I don't really see a problem with that." Zane said to Eleanor.

"Then you leave me no choice." Eleanor said to everyone, as her side got ready to fight. "Mmm, make her nice and desperate, Velvet and Zane. I just know the result will be something wonderful!" Magilou said to everyone, walking away from the fight, with Ludo, and Cheche following her. "Stay out of this, witch." Velvet said to Magilou, as they got ready to fight.

"Let's start this fight by taking care of these faceless grunts. Poison Gas!" Liz said, as she let out a purple cloud. That's when a few of the Wynaut made a mystic barrier around them, blocking the purple cloud from hitting anyone.

"That didn't work. Duncan use Headbutt." Eizen said to Duncan. "You got it." Duncan said, charging at a Wynaut. But the Wynaut dodged Duncan at the last second, and its arm glowed orange. Then it slammed its arm into Duncan, dealing some damage to Duncan, and sending Duncan flying back to the others.

"Keep your distance. Saara use Water Pulse." Laphicet said, as he fired a fireball. "Okay." Saara said, as she fired a ball of water. But one of the Malak fired a fireball, and hit Laphicet's fireball, can eachother out. As for the Water Pulse, one of the Wynaut had a reflective coat over its body, and the Water Pulse splashed on the Wynaut. That's when a blinding light shot out from Wynaut and hit Saara, dealing some damage.

"What's up with these Pokemon?" Rokurou asked everyone. "Safeguard, Counter, and Mirror Coat. Prevent stuff like poison, and can counter our close and ranged attacks and hit us with double the damage. Fighting them will be a challenge." Zane said to everyone. "I'm okay with that." Rokurou said to everyone.

"We just need to kill Gideon, forget the others." Velvet said to everyone, as she charged at Gideon. But Eleanor got in her way, and swung her spear at velvet. Velvet dodged the attack "Stand aside! I'll take care of this right here, right now!" Velvet said to Eleanor, as they locked weapons.

"I cannot! The Laws of the Abbey are clear!" Eleanor said to Velvet. "Then you and your forces will die with him." Zane said to Eleanor, appearing behind her, grabbing her leg, and threw Eleanor into one of her soldiers.

"Aguya use Smokescreen." Zane said to Aguya. "I see what you're getting at." Aguya said, before letting out smoke, covering Zane, Aguya and Eshu. Confused by this, Eleanor looked at the smoke. That's when she noticed an arrow shoot out of smoke. Eleanor was fast enough to dodge the arrow. But the soldier she crashed into wasn't so lucky, and took an arrow to the face.

"Damn. Joy, use your speed to get rid of that smoke." Eleanor said to Joy. Joy then moved at high speed around the smoke, making the smoke go away. That's when Eleanor got a clear sight of Zane and charged at him. Zane noticed this, and used his blades to stop and lock weapons with Eleanor.

"Joy, now!" Eleanor said to Joy, as Joy jumped up and was able to kick Zane in the face. "Eshu use Swift, and Aguya use Ember." Zane said to Eshu and Aguya, as he slammed his knee into Eleanor's gut, breaking free from the weapon lock, and jumped back dodging Joy's attack.

"Right." Eshu and Aguya said, as Eshu fired stars and Joy, and Aguya fired a burst of fire at Joy. The two attacks hit, and sent joy flying back to Eleanor. "Damn these daemon!" Eleanor said.

"Madam Eleanor!" A female soldier said, as more soldiers showed up. This caused Magilou, Ludo, and Cheche to run to everyone, as soldiers came in from the back. The soldiers summoned more Malak. "Damn. Reinforcements." Eizen said, as he, Rokurou, Saber, and Duncan charged at the soldiers. But the Malak fired fire balls at them, making them all jump back.

"They have the advantage at range." Velvet said to everyone. "Crush her head!" Eizen said to Velvet. "I'm on it!" Velvet said, popping out her daemon claw. "I'll help, by cutting her head off." Zane said to Velvet, as he and Velvet charged at Eleanor.

That's when Bienfu popped out of Eleanor. "Leave Madam Eleanor alone, you fiends!" Bienfu said to Velvet and Zane. "Out the way, pipsqueak!" Zane said to Bienfu, as he and Velvet slapped Bienfu out the way.

"Bieeeeee?!" Bienfu yelled, as he flew right at Laphicet. Laphicet caught Beinfu, and the two smiled at each other. But that's when Magilou came up from behind Laphicet, looking like she was a monster rising from the shadow, her body covered in darkness, wicked pink smile, and sparkly eyes.

"Theeeeere you aaaare, Bienfu! Did you think you could run form your true mistress?" Magilou asked Bienfu. "M-M-Mish Magilou?!" Bienfu asked Magilou, freaking out. That's when Magilou grabbed Bienfu from the bow and pulled Bienfu away from Laphicet.

"I'm putting YOU back where you belong. YOu, descendant of the Seventh Grove, See our vows renewed. May our prayers of discontent Vanish infinitesimal into the void! Remember this true name I bestow unto you… Fuschie Cass!" Magilou said to Bienfu, as a magic circle formed around her and Bienfu.

"Bieeen! Bad-baaad!" Bienfu said, as turned back into energy and entered Magilou's body. Magilou felt amazing from this. "Heh-heh-heh… Oh, now it is OOOON!" Magilou said, raising her hands into the sky.

Back with Zane, Velvet, and Eleanor, Eleanor blocked their attacks, and forced Zane and Velvet back. That's when Eleanor noticed Magilou had started to show from having Bienfu with her. "That power… Are you an exocits?!" Eleanor asked Magilou. "Wrong! I am a witch, from whom the universe is a playing, and souls of men but motes!" Magilou said to Eleanor, putting her hands on his hips.

Then Magilou fired a burst of water at the soldiers, and Malak in the back, scattering them with the water. "Oh, but if it's a name you need… Call me Miss Magilou!" Magilou said to Eleanor, striking a pose. "A human consorting with daemons?! Have you no shame, girl?!" Eleanor asked Magilou.

"The answer to that question is, yes. Magilou has no shame whatsoever." Zane said to Eleanor. "You owe us, Magilou." Velvet said to Magilou. "Oh, I'm nothing like Rokurou. I forget my debris so fast!" Magilou said to Velvet. "Then pay us back right here." Velvet said to Magilou. "Always invest responsibly, children!" Magilou said to everyone. "Just get in there, and fight!" Zane said to Magilou, disappearing and reappearing behind Magilou, kicking her in the back, making Magilou charge into the enemy.

"Okay. Ludo, help me with Hypnosis. And Cheche, drain their souls with Mega Drain." Magilou said, as she fired a furry of water balls at all of Eleanor's troops. "Right." Ludo and Cheche said, as they flew around the groups, with Ludo letting out strange lights coming from his eyes, and Cheche pulling out green lights out of Eleanor's troops.

"Now! While they're down. Eshu use Swift, and Aguya, run them over with Flame Wheel." Zane said to Eshu and Aguya, as he fired arrows at the down soldier, killing them. "Right!" Eshu and Aguya said, as Eshu fired stars at the Pokemon and malak, knocking them out, and Aguya became encased in fire, and started to roll around, running over a few of the soldiers.

That's when a few of the soldiers got up. "Saara use Water Gun." Laphicet said to Saara, as he charged up multiple fireball spells. "On it." Saara said, as she fired a steam of water at a few of the soldiers, making them stop moving. That's when Laphicet fired all the fireballs, taking out the soldiers.

This is also when what was left of Eleanor's troops got up. "Liz use Dragon Rage." Velvet said to Liz, as she slash one of the soldiers, as he reached her. "And Duncan use Dragon Breath." Eizen said, as he punched the next two soldiers that reached them.

"Right!" Liz and Duncan said, as Liz let out a large amount of blue flames, and Duncan fired a beam of teal energy. This hit many of Eleanor's troops, causing explosions and taking care of most of them.

"No fair, they're not leaving any action." Rokurou said to Saber. "Then let's get into it." Saber said to Rokurou. "Agreed. Now use Slash." Rokurou said to Saber. "With pleasure." Saber said to Rokurou, as he and Rokurou charged at Eleanor's troops. The two of them started to attack anything and everything, catching Eleanor's troops off guard, and getting the human and the malak killed, but the Pokemon were able to avoid death, but were seriously hurt.

This went on for a minute, before Rokuoru and Saber stopped. When it was over, only Eleanor, Joy, and Eleanor's malak to defend Gideon alone. "Stand aside." Velvet said to Eleanor. "Never!" Eleanor said, as she made Joy and her malak attacked. Velvet, Zane, Aguya, and Liz charged. "Poison Fang!" Liz said, as she reached Joy, and purple goo formed into the shape of fangs appeared in her mouth. Liz then bit into Joy, shaking Joy.

"Liz, I'm open, toss her to me. Flame Wheel!" Aguya said, as she started to roll, and became encased in fire. Liz then tossed Joy to Aguya, and Aguya hit Joy, sending Joy flying back to Eleanor, with swirls in for eyes.

At the same time, Velvet grabbed the head of one of the malak, eating it. And Zane pulled out four arrows, and fired them at the malak, hitting its shoulders and legs. Zane then disappeared and reappeared above the malak, and came down on it, using his blades to cut the Malak down the middle, killing it.

All this made Eleanor feel fear. Even Laphicet was freaked out a little by their show of force. "Was that really necessary?" Saara asked Zane and Velvet. "With her malak dead, and her Pokemon outcold. She's powerless." Velvet said to Saara, as she and Zane walked up to Eleanor.

Intimidated by them, Eleanor didn't raise her spear. That's when Velvet and Zane punched Eleanor in the gut, causing her to fall into the floor. "No then. I believe we have business with you Gideon." Zane said to Gideon, as he and Velvet walked up to Gideon.

"W-Wait! All I did, I did for the sake of the Abbey. We need money to build the temple. That's why I sold the Nectar…" Gideon said to Zane and Velvet, backing away from them. "Like we care about that. Like I told Eleanor, we're here to kill you. We don't care what you did or why you did it" Zane said to Gideon, pulling out an arrow and loading it.

"I know I was wrong to produce so much of it… B-But I was only trying to help people as best I could!" Gideon said to Zane. "Like I said. We don't care." Zane said to Gideon, stop walking, and aim his weapon at Gideon. "Let's talk this over. Who ordered you here? Was it the sick? Was it the decorators? Or-" Gideon asked them, but stopped talking, when Velvet pulled out her blade.

The sight of Velvet and Zane ready to kill him, made Gideon fall to the floor. "No… Was it Artorius?" Gideon asked them. "In a way, yes." Zane said to Gideon. "I knew it! Damn his eyes! So he wanted to wipe me out of existence, does he?" Gideon asked, getting up, and glowing black energy. "That bastard! After all the work I did for him…" Gideon said.

"No!" Eizen said, before Gideon let out a large amount of black energy, letting out large winds as well. "I guess I shouldn't be surprised by this." Zane said, as they braced themselves against the winds. Then the winds died down. "Velvet!" Laphicet said, as he ran up to Velvet.

That's when they noticed Gideon had turned into a lizard deamon, and his robes were ripped up a little. "That false savior will paaaay!" Gideon said, running. That's when Gideon ran into Laphicet, and Gideon tried to slash Laphicet. But Velvet jumped in between Laphicet and Gideon, taking the hit from Gideon. That's when Zane fired his arrow, ramming it right thru Gideon's left wrist.

Gideon clenched his left wrist, and in pain, noticed everyone charging at him. "You won't be rid of me so easily!" Gideon said to everyone, before running through a door, leaving a blood trail from the arrow in his wrist. "Rgh! You can't die now! You think you can read books when you're dead?!" Velvet said to Laphicet. Laphicet then started to show signs of a back bone. "Don't you die either, Velvet…" Laphicet said to Velvet, with a commanding voice.

"Priesty's getting away." Magilou said to everyone. "He won't. I'll hunt him down." Velvet said to Magilou. "Then let's hurry, before we lose his trail." Zane said to everyone, as they all ran after Gideon.

"So not even the High Priest is immune to daemonblight." Velvet asked, as they ran down some stars. "I guess he hit his limit." Magilou said. "And by the sounds of it. He's been holding it in for a while." Zane said.

While running they heard a nasty roar. "What was that?!" Velvet asked. "I don't know. But it sounds hungry." Liz said to Velvet.

That's when they reached the end of the stairway, that's when they found Gideon being eaten by a massive tan griffin-like monster, with a bird head, and black horn. "What… what is that?!" Velvet asked, as Gideon turned back to normal.

That's also when Eleanor and Joy caught up to everyone. "The daemon… returned to human form? And… What is that beast?!" Eleanor asked everyone. Then the beast roared, and tried to fly, only to slam into the same barrier velvet was trapped with, forcing it down. "There's a barrier here." Eizen said to everyone. "So, what? The Abbey is holding this thing captive?!" Rokurou asked everyone.

"Looks like it." Zane said to everyone. "This barrier… I know it well." Velvet said, before they noticed Gideon dead. "It seems our errand has met with success, at least technically speaking." Magilou said to everyone. "Just to make sure." Zane said, pulling out an arrow, and firing it into Gideon's head. "There. Now he's dead, without a doubt." Zane said to everyone.

"Right. Let's get out of here." Velvet said, as they started to leave. That's when Eleanor pointed her spear at everyone. "What did you do to the High Priest?! What is this daemon?!" Eleanor asked everyone.

"Besides putting an arrow in his head and wrist, we did do anything to him." Zane said to Eleanor. "As for the daemon. I don't know, and I don't care." Velvet said to Eleanor. "Do not mock me!" Eleanor said to Velvet and Zane raising her spear at them.

"You are the mockery. What do you hope to do to me without your exorcist powers and a weak Pokemon like that?" Velvet asked Eleanor, walking right up to Eleanor, so only an inch of space was between Velvet and the tip of Eleanors spear. Feeling intimidated Eleanor lowered her spear.

"Always a pleasure Eleanor. Until next time. And while that defense ambush was cute, Magilou easily dealt with it. So next time come up with something a little more interesting." Zane said to Eleanor, with a taunting voice, as they walked away.

That's when Eleanor dropped to her knees, as everyone left her alone with Joy. "Who are you? Who are you people?!" Eleanor asked, on the edge of crying. That's when Joy bounced up and hugged Eleanor trying to calm her down.
