Hello everyone sorry for the wait, things have been rough at work. Now this is a chapter I've been waiting to do for a while, this chapter will explain many things about the cosmos that my stories (Minus Korra and later Person 4) are in.

Also you've probably noticed, I posted my newest story The White Dragon's Case: The Crimson Love Letter.

Also after posting that story, the people reviewing it gave a new idea for a new triple crossover. This Triple Crossover will involve either Trainer of Vesperia or Fire Emblem Awakening of Galarain Trainers, going into the story of Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, on a mission to retrieve a dangerous relic from the forces of evil, if they witch to return home to their families.

Now I'm asking if you guys want to see this story, and if you want characters from my Trainer of Vesperia or Fire Emblem Awakening of Galarain Trainers, to go into the story of Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. So leave a review if you want to see this triple crossover, and have it mixed with either Vespera or Fire Emblem. (Fair warning, if you pick Fire Emblem you'll have to wait until Fire Emblem is over.)

Now let's get to chapter 13.

Chapter 13

The Dark Secrets of the Cosmos

While walking to Amenoch's temple, Palamides, a young woman walked up to them, looking nervous. "Who are you?" Velvet asked the woman, as everyone got ready for trouble.

"The Innkeeper's daughter. I just… I happened to overhear you all talking about going to Palamides, and…" The young woman said to Velvet, but went quiet then Velvet got into a fighting stance, but Zane raised an arm in front of her, making her stand down.

"And what? Why do you care if we're going to Palamides? What interests do you have in what we're doing?" Zane asked the young woman. "I want you to look for someone." The young woman said to Zane, making everyone calm down.

"And that someone is?" Zane asked the young woman. "A mother and her child went to visit the Abbey grounds, but they haven't returned." The young woman said to Zane. "They've both gone missing?" Eleanor asked the young woman.

"Yes. The mother's name is Mahina. She's a priestess of Amenoch. And her little daughter's name is Kamoana." The young woman said to everyone. "Hold on, if she's a priestess of Amenoch…" Eleanor said, before coming to a realization.

"Right. Ever since the Abbey booted her out from the temple, she's been regularly going back to make her objections heard. But one day she never returned home. And now her daughter has disappeared, too. I can only assume that she went to go look for her mother." The young woman said to everyone.

"A missing priestess and her daughter, who if I'm correct, will be the future priestess. How suspicious." Zane said to everyone. "And you believe they're being held at the temple?" Eleanor asked the young woman.

"Oh no, ma'am. I just… I just can't imagine Mahina would abandon her daughter like that. Your friend is right. Kamonana is next in line to succeed her, so she's had a strict upbringing, but her mother truly loves her. Please, forgive Mahina for her protests. I was just hoping you could use the Abbey's resources to track them down." The young woman said to Eleanor, sounding nervous.

"I will do everything in my power to find them." Eleanor said to the young woman, sounding serious. "Thank you! Thank you so much! Like Kamoana. I grew up with only my mother as family… I can't help but worry for them." the young woman said to Eleanor, sounding grateful and putting her hands together.

"Of course." Eleanor said to the young woman, hugging herself as bad memories flashed through her mind. Velvet and Zane noticed this. "Let's be off, Miss Exorcist." Velvet said to Eleanor, as she walked away. "Yeah, we have work to do." Zane said to Eleanor, as they all started to move towards Palamides.

While walking to Palamides, Velvet and Zane pulled Eleanor to the side. "Eleanor. What's your game here?" Velvet asked Eleanor. "The mother and daughter, you mean? That's on me. I'll search for them myself." Eleanor said to Velvet.

"I don't care about that." Velvet said to Eleanor. "Well, what, then?" Eleanor asked Velvet. "Why are you actively helping us decipher the book when we're using it to thwart the Abbey's plans?" Velvet asked Eleanor.

"You think I might be deliberately misleading you? Laying a trap of some sort for you all?" Eleanor asked Velvet. "Of course not. You're too nice for that. If we run into a trap it's because someone else planned it, and you would just use the trap to switch sides." Zane said to Eleanor, with a mocking tune in his voice.

"Ignoring that rude comment. I want to know the truth. I want to know what Lord Artorius is trying to accomplish. And there's something happening in the world right now. I want to know what it is. Unfortunately, little old Eleanor has never been deemed trustworthy enough to be given such information. So, my only option is to find out for myself." Eleanor said to them.

"You've got the "soul-searching" down, at least." Velvet said to Eleanor, with a flat look on her face. "The Abbey and your band of rogues follow two different paths… But something tells me either will lead me to the same destination." Eleanor said to them.

"And so you don't see any need to lie to us?" Velvet asked Eleanor. "Exactly." Eleanor said to Velvet. "And what'll you do if those truths don't line up cleanly with what you believe?" Velvet asked Eleanor.

"I'm… not sure yet." Eleanor said to Velvet. "As honest an answer as any." Velvet said to Eleanor. "Just just be careful. Once the truth is learned, it can never be unlearned, and the burns it leaves behind will never go away." Zane said to Eleanor.

"I'll keep that in mind." Eleanor said to Zane. "Either way, it looks like you'll be working with us for the near future." Velvet said to Eleanor. "Yes. For now." Eleanor said to Velvet, before walking away.

That's when Rokurou walked up to them. "Hey, could I ask you two something?" Rokurou asked Velvet and Zane. "What is it?" Velvet asked Rokurou.

"About the therions. I've heard you call yourself a therion before. Is there any particular insight you have about them?" Rokuoru asked Velvet. "No. None. Artorious said I was one, that's all." Velvet said to Rokurou.

"And that doesn't bother you?" Rokuoru asked Velvet. "Does it bother you?" Velvet asked Rokurou. "Nope, not at all. If you're not worried, then neither am I." Rokurou said to Velvet, before walking away.

"I'm surrounded by freaks." Velvet said, thinking out loud. "Well what do you expect when you're one of them." Zane said to Velvet, a playful tune in his voice, and putting an arm over her shoulders. "Shut up." Velvet said to Zane, putting a hand on his face, and pushing Zane away from her before walking away.

A little bit later, everyone made it to an old temple that was surrounded by water that was a couple feet deep.

"So this Palamides. It's a pretty nice place. To be honest, I was expecting something simpler given how the village looked." Zane said to everyone, as they slowly walked to the temple.

"Wow. It's the ocean!" Laphicet said to everyone. "This was a palace of worship of Amenoch, the Water Empyrean. The ancient built this sanctuary underwater for the same reason that Eumacia's temples were built underground." Magilou said to everyone.

"But building this underwater couldn't have been easy." Laphicet said to everyone. "Aye. With the earth temples, all they had to do was keep digging. Here, they had water to contend with." Eizen said to everyone.

"How did they do it? You can't split the sea like you can a log." Rokurou asked Eizen. "They started by stacking giant stone blocks in the shallows, creating an enclosed space. Then they drained the water and expanded the enclosure. Once they had done that enough times and secured enough dry space, they were able to dig into the sea floor." Eizen said to everyone.

"It's mind-boggling, isn't it?" Rokurou asked everyone. "The humans believed that by going through such great hardships to build these temples, they could show the depth of their devotion." Eizen said to Rokurou.

"Additionally, current research suggests the site of this temple once sat on the seacoast." Eleanor said to everyone. "What? Are you saying I'm wrong? Eizen asked Eleanor.

"No, I'm only reporting what I've read in academic journals." Eleanor said to Eizen. "How would coastal ruins sink into the ocean?" Rokurou asked everyone. "When the empyreans began their slumber, the land shifted, and this temple was swallowed by the sea. Scholars were able to prove that the sand and the stones formed an airtight seal around the structure. Later people carved an undersea tunnel to connect to the temple, bringing it to its current state." Eleanor said to everyone.

"Now that you mention it, I think I read that book, too. "Revised theories on ancient Architecture," right?" Laphicet asked Eleanor. "That's the one. Have you read it, Eizen?" Eleanor said to Laphicet and asked Eizen.

"No, I only read the first edition." Eizen said to Eleanor. "The problem with the stone enclosure theory is that each time you expand the enclosure, the innermost stones have to be carried out. Once that was pointed out as being too inefficient, alternate theories were developed. The revised edition has a number of competing theories. I highly recommended reading it." Eleanor said to Eizen.

"I- I will then." Eizen said to Eleanor, sounding upset. "So, wait… was that a complete rebuttal of Eizen's explanation?" Rokurou asked everyone, as he, Velvet, and the Pokemon gave Eleanor and Eizen some flat looks.

"Th-That was not my intention." Eelanor said to everyone. "Nah, it's okay… Archeology is a continuous process of asking new questions and making new discoveries. Prevailing theories change all the time." Eizen said to everyone.

"What's it matter, anyway? Let's just get going." Velvet said to everyone, as they walked up some steps towards the door to the temple.

"What's this?" Velvet asked everyone, as they noticed dead Exorcists around the entrance. Then they heard something whaling inside before they heard flesh ripping, sword fighting, and people's dying screams. "Trouble." Zane said to everyone.

"A daemon!" Eleanor said to everyone, figuring out what could be making those noises. "The daemon we heard about? Sounds like it's having fun." Magilou said to everyone. "Then we'll use this distraction!" Velvet said to everyone.

"But let's be ready for a fight, and bring out our Pokemon now." Zane said to everyone, as he let out Aguya. "Agree. But keep things small. We want to avoid drawing attention." Velvet said to Zane, before letting out Liz.

Everyone nodded, before Rokurou let out Saber, Eealnor let out Winter, Eizen let out Duncan, Magilou let out Cheche, and Laphicet let out Veda, earning a flat look from Velvet.

"Why did you let her out, and not Ryu?" Velvet asked Laphicet. "I just want to try and work with her. We haven't really battled yet, and I want to see who we work together." Laphicet said to Velvet, lowering his head, making Velvet sigh. "Just try and keep her out of sight." Velvet said to Laphicet, before they entered the temple.

"There's no empyrean here, right, Eizen?" Velvet asked Eizen, as they started to walk to the temple, keeping a low profile. "If you're worried about it, why not flip that coin of his? Heads, no Empyrean. Tails, Empyrean-central." Magilou said to Velvet. "But it always comes up tails!" Rokurou said to Magilou, an annoyed tune in his voice.

"Like I said before, these temples are nothing more than places of worship built by human hands. The current religion started when humans, fearful of natural forces, began to worship four gods they called the Empyreans. If you're concerned about whether or not one is sleeping in these ruins, just remember that their very existence is only legend." Eizen said to everyone.

"Be that as it may, Innominat certainly exists." Eleanor said to Eizen. "Aye, but I've never heard a single story of anyone actually seeing an Empyrean. Innominat must be a special case, then." Eizen said to everyone.

"Must be." Velvet said, before she started to rub her chin a little. "I suppose. If there were four more like him, and they all were trying to stop us, we'd be sunk." Rokurou said to everyone. "I can't disagree." Velvet said to everyone.

"Oh relax. Innominat is the only big problem we have to deal with. Everything else is just humans." Zane said to everyone, earning an odd look from Magilou and Eizen. "And daemons. You forgot to say daemons." Eleanor said to Zane. "Right. Of course." Zane said to Eleanor with a quiet tune in his voice.

While traveling through the temple, they found themselves in a large rectangular room with a circle platform in the middle, a straight path to the exit on the other side of the room, and water on both sides of the path.

But blocking their path was a Wolf daemon that had a female body type, and the daemon was facing away from them.

"That's the daemon causing all the trouble. I was hoping it was something more impressive than a wolf." Zane said to everyone. "Well, it wiped out the security for us, but…" Velvet said to everyone, as it turned to everyone.

That's when everyone noticed it had a pendant around its neck that looked like a seashell. "Well, look at that. Wolfie's got the crest of Amenoch… The same pendant worn by priestesses." Magilou said to everyone.

"Then that makes this daemon…" Laphicet said to everyone, but was interrupted by Zane. "Mahina, yep. Figured. Missing for days. A daemon causing major trouble for the Abbey recently. I guess the Abbey pushed her hatred of them past the breaking point." Zane said to everyone, making Eizen and Magilou give Zane a side eye look.

"It can't be!" Eleanor said in disbelief. Then Mahina roared at everyone before attacking them. This caused everyone to scatter, with Eleanor still in shock by the fact that this daemon was Mahina. Luckily Zane pulled her out of the way of Mahina's attack.

"Don't just stand there! It's gonna eat you! Liz use Dragon Rage!" Velvet said to Eleanor and Liz, as she fired a ball of fire at Mahina. "On it." Liz said, as she fired a steam of blue flames with a dragon head.

The two flames hit Mahina making her roll towards the edge, putting out whatever fire was on her fur.

"I know that! But…!" Eleanor said to Velvet, but was interrupted by Mahina getting up and roaring at everyone. "But nothing. Mahina is going to kill us. It's either fight or die. And I have no interest in dying here!" Zane said to Eleanor, as he fired a couple shots at Mahina. "I'm with him. Ember!" Aguya said, as she fired multiple bursts of fire at Mahina.

This caused Mahina to start running around the circle dodging the flames and arrows.

"Cheche use Mega Drain." Magilou said to Cheche, as she fired a few ice spells at Mahina trying to stop her, but kept missing. "You got it." Cheche said, as they made Mahina glow green, and green balls of energy came out of her and into their tea cup.

This made Mahina feel weaker. "Duncan use Dragon Breath." Eizen said to Duncan after he rushed Mahina, and punched a few times before knocking her into the air. "You got it." Duncan said to Eizen, as he fired a steam of teal energy at Mahina, making her explode, before knocking out of the sky.

"Now Saber use Slash." Rokurou said to Saber, as they charged at Mahina. "Right." Saber said, as he pulled out his blade, and it glowed white. Then Rokurou and Saber went crazy and slashed Mahina all over her body.

But this wasn't enough to stop Mahina. She roared and swung her arms at Rokurou and Saber, knocking them back. Then Mahina rushed everyone, as the gang regrouped.

"Veda, can you try to stop her with Sand Tomb?" Laphicet asked Veda, as he fired a fireball at Mahina, hitting her and stunning her for a couple of seconds. "Let's find out." Veda said to Laphicet, as she made a vortex of sand come out of the floor around Mahina, trapping her and doing a little chip damage with it being worse where Rokurou and Saber slashed her.

But Mahina started to slowly get out of the sand. "Oh no you don't. Powder Snow." Winter said, as she fired a burst of freezing wind and snow, causing the sand to become mixed with ice, causing Mahina to get stuck in it.

"To think a priestess, beloved by her village, would become a daemon…" Eleanor said to everyone, still not believing this was Mahina. "Eleanor?" Laphicet asked Eleanor, getting a little nervous.

That's when Eleanor stood before everyone, and pointed her spear at Mahina. "She's never going to be the same again. This is the least I can do for her… So says reason!" Eleanor said to everyone, as she looked at Mahina with a serious look.

"So says reason. But your heart clearly feels bad about this." Zane said to Eleanor. "Be quiet." Eleanor said to Zane, as Laphicet sensed something. "Huh? That feeling!" Laphicet said, getting everyone's attention.

Mahina also sensed something, and roared before breaking out of the ice, and running away. "Damn!" Eleanor said, as Mahina exited the area. "Let the daemon be. We don't need it." Velvet said to Eleanor, as everyone else put their weapons away. Then everyone started to leave, with Eleanor following from behind.

"That daemon… I guess she caught daemonblight when she was looking for her daughter." Laphicet said to everyone. "Yeah… that's what the girl at the inn said." Rokurou said to Lpahicet.

"But even after turning into a daemon, she's still searching for her daughter." Laphicet said to everyone. "Because she's a mother. Even as a daemon, she's still a worried mother." Zane said to Lapchiet.

"It could be that, or it could be something else." Rokuoru said to everyone. "Well, I hope that's what it is." Laphicet said to everyone.

"I know that must be how she felt as a human, but daemons don't have a sense of motherhood or any such thing. You saw how violent she was. She's not Mahina anymore. When she became a daemon, she lost all capacity for empathy and love. It's heartbreaking, but it's the truth." Eleanor said to everyone.

"How would you know that? After all you did with jerks and thugs taken over by their darkness. You never ran into one who still had their mind intact. And I don't think Mahina is as mindless as you think." Zane said to Eleanor.

"One daemon left unchecked could take a hundred lives. And this one's even willing to attack exorcists. How can you defend it? Daemons can wipe out entire villages, even cities. Just as they destroyed my village." Eleanor said to Zane, making Laphicet laugh.

"Thus my path is clear." Eleanor said to Zane. "Eleanor is right. There's no turning back once you've changed. Perhaps it would be a mercy to grant her peace through death." Rokurou said to Zane, making Laphicet nervous, and Zane smirked.

"Just wait till the end to say killing her was the right thing to do. After all, you all are missing her reason. And without that reason, you can't hope to understand her." Zane said to everyone. "And what reason is that?" Eleanor asked Zane.

"You'll have to figure it out. After all, like you ever believe the words of a monster like me." Zane said to Eleanor.

After a bit more walking, they reached the bottom of the temple, where a monster was waiting. This monster looked like a rotten scary tree stump you would find in the forest, with each root wiggling around on the surface, ending with four golden spikes at the end, and inside the mouth of its scary face was a green statue of a child.

The monster let out a roar that sounded like a child crying. "So this is where you are. Now where's Mahina?" Zane said, as he looked around. "What are you talking about?" Eleanor asked Zane. "You'll see soon enough." Zane said to Eleanor, as the monster lunged at everyone.

"Look out!" Liz said to everyone, as they got ready for the monster to crash into them. But the monster was stopped by a barrier and was forced back. "That barrier again!" Eleanor said to everyone.

"Looks like we were right. After therion." Rokurou said to everyone. "Just as Velvet conjectured, each of the seven heads seems to assume a different form." Eizen said to everyone.

"And this one is in the form of a little girl hiding in a tree." Zane said to everyone, as the monster let out another roar that sounded like crying, at the same time Laphicet sensed something.

"The sensation! It was here!" Laphicet said to everyone. "Well, look at that, I guess your hunch panned out too, kiddo." Magilou said to Laphicet. "This is just how I felt in Warg Forest… That must have been an earthpulse point back there, too." Laphicet said to everyone.

"Well, what are we going to do with this one? Can we get it to shrink like that bug of yours?" Rokurou asked Laphicet. "I don't care whether it lives or dies. As long as we defeat it and take out one of Innominat's heads. That's all that matters." Velvet said to everyone, before she charged at the monster, followed by everyone but Zane.

"You make it sound like this stuff is such a simple thing." Zane said to Velvet, as he slowly walked towards everyone and the monster.

"Liz use Poison Gas and weakened this thing." Velvet said to Liz, as the monster swung her roots at everyone, making Velvet, Rokurou, and Eleanor block the roots with their blades, as Magilou, Eizen, Laphicet, and the Pokemon jumped back a little, with Zane stopping in his tracks.

"Right." Liz said, as she fired a burst of purple gas at the monster. But the monster saw that coming and roared, before jumping into the air, dodging the gas.

"Try not to let it eat you!" Rokurou said to everyone, as the monster then landed on the other side of the room. "That'd be therion-comfortable!" Magilou said to everyone with a playful tune in her voice, before the monster started to charge at her.

AAH! Cheche, Protect me!" Magilou said to Cheche. "On it." Cheche said, as they formed a green bubble around themselves and Magilou, keeping the monster away from them, and making it slam its roots into the bubble.

"Saber use Acerial Ace." Rokurou said to Saber, as he rushed the monster. "Got it." Saber said, as he disappeared. Then Saber reappeared in front of the monster and slashed it, forcing it away from Magilou and Cheche. This gave Rokurou an opening, and he started to slash the monster.

The monster roared in pain, before swatting Rokurou away. "This is getting us nowhere. Let's see how it goes. Struggle Bug." Winter said, as she let out a large number of small green energy balls that moved all over the place and into the monster, digging into its body, but having very little effect.

The monster then jumped into that air and tried to crash into them. "Aguya, care to give us some cover with Smokescreen?" Zane asked Aguya. "On it." Aguya said, as she let out a large cloud of smoke covering everyone.

That's when the monster came down and missed everyone. "Slash." Veda said, as she and Eizen charged at the monster, with Veda's right claw glowing white. The two of them hit the monster, making it slide on the ground.

"Dragon Breath." Duncan said, as he fired a steam of teal energy, at the same time Magilou fired a burst of water and Laphicet fired a fireball. All the attacks hit the monster making a large explosion.

But the monster shook off the pain and charged at everyone again. "Sand Tomb." Vedra said, as she made a vortex of sand come out of the floor around the monster.

"Let's try this again. Powder Snow." Winter said, as she fired a burst of freezing wind and snow, causing the sand to become mixed with ice, causing the monster to get stuck in it.

"Duncan use Headbutt." Eizen said to Duncan, as they charged at the trapped monster. "And Saber use Slash." Rokurou said to Saber, as they charged at the trapped monster.

"Right." Duncan and Saber said at the same time, as Duncan's head glowed white, and Saber's bladed glowed white. Then all four of them started to attack the monster, with Rokurou and Saber slashing the monster, and Duncan slamming his head into the monster, and Eizen punched the monster.

But all this did was make the monster roar in pain, and start swinging its roots wildly, breaking itself out of the ice and sending Eizen, Rokuoru, Duncan, and Saber flying as well.

"Cheche, save me again!" Magilou said to Cheche. "A please would be nice. Protect." Cheche said, as they formed a green bubble around themselves and magilou, stopping Ezien. Rokurou, Duncan, and Saber from hitting them.

"Liz tried to stop her with Dragon Rage!" Velvet said to Liz, as she summoned ehr claw and made a large fireball appear in her claw. "If you say so." Liz said, as she fired a steam of blue flames with a dragon head. That's also when Velvet fired her fireball at the monster.

And while the two flames did hit the monster. The monster's wooden body was too thick for it to do nothing more than leave a couple burns and agitated it even more. That's when it roared again and charged at everyone.

"Here it comes again!" Eleanor said to everyone. "I'm on it. Flame Wheel." Aguya said, as she let out a surge of fire, and started to roll like a wheel. She used her momentum to dodge the monster's roots and slam into the monster's chest. But the monster was unfazed by this and stood in the same spot.

"MOVE YOU!" Aguya said, as she kept spinning. But then a light blue glow could be seen coming from under the flames, as the flames got bigger, forcing the monster back a little before Aguya jumped off, stopping glowing and unrolling revealing her new look.

Aguya doubled in size, stretching out with her front arms stretching out to be actually arms with paws for hand, her feet became paws as well, her face became more of a normal shape, and opening her eyes to reveal her red eyes, and the four fire spots on the back moved, two to her head, and two to her rear.

"Cool I'm a Quilava. Still a Fire Type, but now my fur is more fireproof. Which means I can put more fire into this. Flame Wheel!" Aguya said, as she let out a surge of fire, more than before, and started to roll like a wheel.

Aguya then slammed into the monster's face, making it roar in pain as it slid back crashing into the barrier making it zapped the monster, making the monster slump to the floor. Aguya then jumped back towards everyone, landing in front of them.

"Nice work Aguya." Zane said to Aguya, as the monster got up. "I don't think THIS therion's getting any smaller." Rokurou said to everyone. "Considering how riled up she is, I'm not surprised." Zane said to Rokurou.

This made Velvet bring out her claw and formed it into a fist. But before anyone could do anything, Mahina came running in, and jumped over everyone, and landed between everyone and the monster, facing everyone.

"The daemon again!" Eleanor said to everyone. "Hello Mahina, glad you made it." Zane said to Mahina, as Mahina roared at them. "I am sorry about that Mahina. But I'm traveling with women who prefer to fight first and ask questions later." Zane said to Mahina.

"Quit trying to talk to it like it's still a person." Eleanor said to Zane, as she stepped forwards towards Mahina. "I'm not letting you go this time!" Eleanor said to Mahina, before she lunged at Mahina.

And when she reached Mahina, she slashed Mahina across her chest, leaving a deep cut, and sending her flying back towards the monster. Feeling her life fading away, v used what little strength she had to crawl to the monster, holding out a hand to the child inside its body.

That's when the monster started to eat Mahina. "Is that therion… eatin the daemons?!" Eleanor asked everyone, as they walked up to her.

"I'm… so… sorryyyy… Ka… mo… anaaa… I'm… sorry… Kamoanaaa…" Mahina said to the monsters, as she turned to black energy that the monster completely absorbed.

This surprised Eleanor greatly. "The therion… it ate her! "Malevolence" Must refer to daemons, then." Laphicet said to everyone, as Zane, Magilou, and Eizen suddenly turned their heads away from Laphicet.

"Feeding on daemons… I know what that's like." Velvet said to everyone. "Not like this to you haven't." Zane said to Velvet, as the monster let out a burst of black and red energy.

When the energy faded away, it revealed a little girl with tanned skin and dark green hair, two long horns from her head and a bug-like outfit to match. Her hair extends to a longer length when compared to her human form, complete with a venus fly trap-esque ponytail acting as her malevolence-eating mouth, and also has black markings placed throughout her body, as well as her hair turning black towards the tip.

The girl was crying. "Mommy… Mommy…" The girl said while crying. "Look, it turned into a little girl!" Laphicet said to everyone. "Not just any little girl Laphicet. That's Kamoana, daughter of Mahina." Zane said to Laphicet, horrifying Eleanor.

"Mommy, why? Why did you leave me all alone? Did I do something wrong? Was I too weak? I'm sorry, Mommy… I'm sorry…" Kamoana cried, not knowing what happened. "No… This can't be happening…" Eleanor said to everyone, covering her mouth.

"What can't be happening? That you help kill this little girl's mother? Well it did. Nice work Miss Exorcist. After all you killed the monster, who cares if that monster was this little girl's only family. After all you're going to save the world, what's one mother to a little girl compared to world peace." Zane said to Eleanor, clapping and smirking, while causing Eleanor to be on the verge of a major freak out.

"Zane, stop talking. You're going to break her. And I need her for Laphicet." Velvet said to Zane. "Very well." Zane said to Velvet, as he stopped smirking and clapping. "What's she even doing down here?" Aguya asked everyone, as they listened to Kamoana crying.

"I tried so hard to be strong for you, Mommy… the man from the Abbey made me strong. So please, Mommy… Please come back…" Komaoana said while crying.

"The Abbey "made" her strong?" Velvet asked everyone. "By turning her into a therions? Geez, thos Abbey jokers really get off on this "sacrifice" stuff, don't they?" Magilou asked everyone. "It's more like they view this as a necessary thing, after all, logically, what's one little girl compared to everlasting peace." Zane said to everyone.

"I can't believe it. Then… That woman… She was trying to save her own daughter!" Eleanor said to everyone. "Did you just figure that out? I thought it was pretty obvious. After all, if she turned into a daemon to find Kamoana, then why be so aggressive towards the Abbey. Logic said they took her and wouldn't give her back." Zane said to Eleanor, making a very shocked look appear on her face, as she realized Zane was right.

"Mommy… Mommy… I missed you… Mommy…" Kamoana said, crying even louder, breaking Eleanors heart.

"Dying, unable to save her daughter, all she could do was offer herself to feed her hungry child." Eizen said to everyone. "She did what a mother does, take care of her child. Even as she died." Duncan said to everyone.

"No… This… This is my fault!" Eleanor said, on the very of crying. "So... should we bring her with us?" Rokurou asked everyone. "Someone like her will only slow us down." Velvet said to everyone. "Not, any more than Dyle dose?" Zane said Velvet.

That Therion isn't going anywhere." A male voice said from behind, making everyone turn to see Oscar standing behind them, ready for battle with John crying. "Oscar. What kept you? I thought this was your new position. Shouldn't you have been here to stop Mahina and us from getting this far down in the temple." Zane said to Oscar.

"That's none of your business. But know I'm here to finally put a stop to you all." Oscar said to Zane, before Eleanor ran to the front of the group, getting between them and Oscar.

"Oscar! What is the Abbey doing? Please tell me, I have to know!" Eleanor said to Oscar. "Eleanor… the less you know the better." Oscar said to Eleanor. "I must know! I killed her mother, and then that poor girl, she…" Eleanor said to Oscar, but couldn't finish her sentence.

But Oscar quickly understood what happened. "Ah, so she must have devoured the daemon… But don't let that trouble you. The daemon was a necessary sacrifice to bring an end to this world's pain and suffering." Oscar said to Eleanor, making her clench her fist.

"That wasn't just "some daemon"! She was a mother! She was all this girl had! Her one and only mother." Eleanor said, as she started to cry a little. This made Oscar look away. "Be that as it may, those who possess strong wings must-." Oscar said to Eleanor, but was interrupted by John glowing light blue.

The light blue faded, revealing John had gained 3 feet, his body was tan, his tail, legs, and arms becoming longer, his round body opened up becoming a armor shell on his back with a couple large spikes on the sides, his fingers and toes became longer looking like they were made out of wood, a white long beard, and his the lower part of his arm was white, and the top part of the arm was light green with two small spikes on it.

"You see. Our mission is a…" Oscar said to Eleanor, but was interrupted when the chest on John's head broke and faded away, revealing white eye with black irises, and grabbing Oscar by the right leg, holding Oscar upside down and making her drop his sword.

"Your mission is a crime against life!" John said to Oscar, with a mighty voice. Then John started to swing Oscar around in the air, slamming him into the floor, making cracks appear on the floor, and making Oscar groan in pain.

"Oh. that's got to hurt." Veda said to everyone. "How did he free himself?" Laphicet asked everyone, as John kept swinging Oscar around. "He's a Chesnaught. And not only is he Grass Type, but he's now a Fighting Type. So the control seal was broken. And while they're normally nice Pokemon, but once they get them riled up, they won't stop until they are satisfied." Zane said to Laphicet, as John tossed Oscar to the side of the room.

"Which was a few seconds before." Zane said to everyone, as Oscar groaned in pain,

and he slowly stood up.

Then, when Oscar finally stood up, Velvet rushed him and a helicopter kicked him, sending Oscar flying into a wall. And before Oscar fell to the ground, Zane fired two arrows into Oscar's wrists, pinning him to the wall, while making him scream, as his wrist started to turn black.

This made Eleanor gasp. "It's not nice to make a girl cry." Velvet said to Oscar, crossing her arms. "And you talk about ending pain and suffering, when all you do is make it. You Abbey people are such hypocrites." Zane said to Oscar, as John moved closer to Oscar. "And this is for everything you did to me and the other Pokemon." John said to Oscar, before he punched Oscar in the face, knocking him out.

That's when Kamoana's sobbing got everyone's attention. "Mommy…" Kamoana said, sounding like a whale. "Kamoana." Laphicet said, feeling bad for Kamoana. "It's now or never." Eizen said to everyone, surprising Laphicet.

"Are we seriously talking about killing her? She might be part of Innominat, but she is still just a scared little kid. We can't kill her." Winter said to Velvet, as she walked to Kamoana. "Shut up Winter." Velvet said to Winter.

"Wait! Have you no compassion?!" Eleanor asked Winter. "This isn't up for discussion." Velvet said to Eleanor, as she walked past her. That's when John jumped over everyone and got between them and Komoana.

"No! I don't know why you're here. But you're not hurting her! She has been through enough and I won't let you take her life before she can live it to the fullest." John said to Velvet, getting ready to fight. "It looks like John is a protector kind of Pokemon." Zane said to everyone before disappearing.

Zane then reappeared next to John's head, and did a spin kick to his head, knocking John to the side, and knocking him out. "But you just evolved, so you're still not much of a threat." Zane said to John, as he landed in front of Velvet.

"Shall we?" Zane asked Velvet, gesturing his right arm towards Kamoana. "I thought you wanted to weaken Innominat! You can sever the link! You don't have to kill her!" Eleanor said to Velvet and Zane, as they stood in front of Kamoana, and pulled out a dark charged arrow and Velvet daemon claw.

The two of them then got ready to strike Kamoana, and attacked. "Velveeeet/Zaneeee!" Eleanor and Laphicet yelled in fear.

But their attacks didn't hit Kamoana. Instead, Velvet and Zane's attack hit the barrier, making it freak out before shattering it. "There. Now we can leave." Zane said to everyone, as he and Velvet started to walk away.

That's when Eleanor and Laphicet ran towards Kamoana. "Oh, someone's had a change of heart. Apparently a woman's tears truly do have frightening power." Magilou said to Zane and Velvet, as they walked up to everyone.

"I'm just curious about something Grimoih said, I can always kill this one later." Velvet said to Magilou. "Plus, killing her will accomplish nothing in the grand scheme of things." Zane said to everyone.

"If we're taking her with us, we better grab her and go. No sense lingering in the enemy's territory." Rokurou said to everyone. "Right." Zane said to Rokurou, as he walked to John.

Zane then kicked John in the face, waking John up. "We're leaving. The girl is okay and coming with us. If you want it to stay that way, then you better keep an eye on her." Zane said to John, as John stood up.

"You know. I've been waiting to tell you this. You all scum." John said to Zane, as he walked to Kamoana, as Laphicet and Eleanor keeled before Kamoana. "Hey, Kamoana, my name's Laphicet. Do you want to come with me and my friends and get out of here?" Lapchiet asked Kamoana.

"Where's my mommy? I'll be lonely without her." Kamoana said to Lapchiet, making Eleanor cry a little. "You're not alone, sweetie, I promise. Even if she's far away, your mother will always be looking for you." Eleanor said to Kamoana, forcing a smile.

"How do you know?" Kamoana asked Eleanor. "Because… that's what my mother does for me, too." Eleanor said Kamoana, sounding like she was about to cry, as John reached her, and kneeled.

"And who are you?" Kamoana asked John, with a little hint of wonder in his eyes. "They call me John, and I want to help keep young ones like you safe." John said to Kamoana, making Kamoana feel safe. "Okay. I trust you." Kamoana said to John.

"Let's go, Kamoana." Laphicet said to Kamoana. "Okay." Kamoana said to Laphicet, as they all stood up. Then as everyone started to leave, Eleanor gave Oscar a quick glance before turning her head away from him.

After a bit of walking, they made it to the village with no trouble, and noticed everyone acting strange and letting out black particles. "Uh, what's going on?" Winter asked everyone, as Grimoirh walked up to everyone.

"Ghrim, what's up? Did you come to share something else you found in that book?" Magilou asked Grimoirh. "Not quiet I'm afraid the malevolence has grown too dense for me to hole up at the inn reading." Grimoirh said to everyone.

"Malevolence?" Velvet asked Grimoirh. "She means that black stuff is coming out of people. And we should start heading towards the Van Eltia this very instant." Zane said to everyone, as more black energy started to come out of everyone.

"What's coming out of their bodies?!" Velvet asked everyone. "My guess, given how the people acted a few hours ago. We're looking at Conceit, Hatred, and maybe a few cases of Cowardice." Zane said to Velvet. "What?!" Velvet asked Zane.

"He's talking about Malevolence. They're all hitting their limits." Magilou said to Velvet. "And about to be trouble for us in three, two, aaaaaaand one." Zane said to Velvet, as the people screamed and transformed into wolf daemons.

"Daemonblight!" Eleanor said to everyone, as they noticed the young woman they talked to earlier turned into a wolf daemon. "Even the inn girl! Why is this happening?!" Eleanor asked everyone.

"Not really a surprise, this village was a little too full of themselves and with how the Abbey took their temple, they must have held hatred for them. Plus given how nervous the inn girl was acting when we talked to her, she must have been terrified to ask for help. So it only makes sense that this all happens to them." Zane said to everyone.

"What are you talking about?!" Eleanor asked Zane. "We can't talk here. There's too many daemons here, their malevolence is spilling over." Eizen said to everyone. "The malevolence… all of that energy spilling from their bodies… that's what causes the daemonblight?" Velvet asked Eizen.

"Do you two know what daemonblight really is? What daemons are?" Eleanor asked Zane and Eizen.

"They couldn't have gotten far! Track them down at all costs!" A male voice said from the other side of the village gate.

"We'll talk later. Zane's right, we need to get to the Van Eltia. The exorcists are going to have their hands full with these daemons. Let's get back to the ship while we can." Eizen said to everyone, as they ran to the harbor where the Van Eltia was docked in the next village over.

"Where are we going? Where's my mom?" Kamoana asked everyone. "Kamoana, your mother is still far away." Eleanor said to Kamoana. "Then I need to wait for her at home. Let's go back to Haria." Kamoana said to Eleanor. "I don't think that's a good idea, Kamoana." John said to Kamoana.

"Scary daemons are running through the village. It's too dangerous there now." Laphicet said to Kamoana. "But I want to see my mom." Kamoana said to everyone, sounding sad.

"Your mom would be sad if you got hurt by a daemon. Come with us, and we'll keep you safe until she comes back." Lapchicet said to Kamoana. "Okay, I'll go with you. I wouldn't want Mom to be sad." Kamoana to everyone, sounding a little better.

Once they got to the dock, everyone took a break to catch their breath and talk, with John distracting Kamoana so they could talk freely.

"All right. You're going to tell me about the daemonblight and malevolence." Velvet said to Eizen, as Eizen had his back to everyone. "Are you seriously thinking of breaking the malak taboo?" Grimoirh asked Eizen from a top a create.

"That depends." Eizen said to Grimoirh. "Malak taboo?" Eleanor asked Eizen. "This is about more than just the daemons. You could say it's the truth behind how this world really works. The knowledge can be devastating to humans, throwing into question everything they think they know. And so the malakhim agreed to withhold it from humans… For their own protection." Grimoirh said to everyone, earning serious looks from Velvet and Eleanor.

"If you don't tell them. Then I will. After all, I know this little taboo of yours, but I don't have a reason to keep it a secret." Zane said to Eizen. "Should have known you knew. Guess I don't have a choice." Eizen said to Zane, before turning to everyone.

"First of all, this thing, this illness you call daemonblight does not exist." Eizen said to everyone, surprising Velvet, Laphicet, and Eleanor. "Any human carries the potential of becoming a daemon. All it takes is for the malevolence lurking in their hearts to overflow." Eizen said to everyone.

"And this malevolence can overflow with the help of one of 8 feelings: Lust, Greed, Selfishness, Obsession, Cowardice, Conceit, Hatred, and Despair." Zane said to everyone.

"But for our little Miss Exorcist here. Impure emotions beyond what reason can suppress. Think of it as the "sin" buried in men's souls." Magilou said to everyone. 'So you knew as well." Eizen said to Magilou.

"I'm a witch." Magilou said to Eizen. "So malevolence is the darkness in all our hearts. Make any sense to you guys? Any at all?" Magilou asked everyone. "When you put it like that, yeah, it makes a lot of sense. I guess you could say I became a daemon thanks to my obsession." Rokurou said to everyone, as he realized what turned him into a daemon, with velvet still thinking about hers.

"By nature, humans are incited by negative energy. It is easy to turn them towards impurity, creating malevolence. In fact, most people are constantly generating malevolence." Eizen said to everyone.

"It might even be possible that daemons are people's true selves, and what little reason they possess is all that keeps them in human form." Magilou said to everyone, making a look of doubt appear on Eleanor's face.

"If the masses realized this, the realm would be thrown into utter chaos. That's why the Abbey propagated the lie of "daemonblight"." Velvet said to everyone. "Yep, it makes things easier if everyone thinks the problem is a disease, and not a problem with themselves." Zane said to Velvet.

"That can't be true! You know yourselves there weren't any daemons before the Opening!" Eleanor said to Eizen, walking closer to Eizen. "It used to be that humans couldn't see daemons or malakhim. Not unless they possessed a unique spiritual talent we call resonance." Eizen said to Eleanor, making Eleanor back up, in shock.

"All your average human would see was someone turning extremely violent. Unable to explain what was happening, they'd just call those people "possessed" or "feral"." Magilou said to Eleanor.

"And if you want an example, if your village was attacked before the Opening, then it wasn't Daemon that killed your mother, it would have been regular bandits raiding your town." Zane said to Eleanor, shocking her even more.

"Then what made people see them all of a sudden?" Rokurou asked everyone. "I don't know. My guess would be that something triggered greater resonance among all of humanity. And then, on the day of the Advent, all humans gained the ability to perceive malakhim. And in the following days, the exorcists' numbers swelled." Eizen said to everyone.

"This has to be Artorius' doing." Velvet said to everyone, as Eleanor thought of the village. "But if there's no sickness, why would an entire village turn into daemons at the same time?" Eleanor asked everyone.

"Because they were at their limit already, but she was sucking up all the excess." Zane said to everyone, as he looked at Kamoana, making Laphicet realize something. "Eight-head is the Lord of the Land, with seven mouths to devour malevolence. Humans produce malevolence, which therions consume and transmit to Innominat. But when we removed Kamoana from the earthpulse point…" Laphicet said to everyone, before he stopped talking.

"Clever boy. That's right, with no therion to absorb their malevolence, the villagers could no longer contain it." Magilou said to Velvet. "So, you're saying it's all my fault." Velvet said to everyone.

"Nope. What happened to the village was a natural thing. You see after being conquered and their temple taken, their hatred of the Abbey and kingdom slowly grew. If you couldn't see daemons, what happened in the village could have been seen as a revolt or the spark of a rebellion." Zane said to everyone.

"At least we know we can trust the contents of that ancient book. We tear the therions away from their earthpulse points. Innominat's power will wane, and we'll prevent this awakening." Velvet said to everyone.

"But if we take away the theirons, then more and more humans will turn into daemons." Laphicet said to Velvet. "It is the only way to kill Artorius." Velvet said to Laphicet, holding up her left arm with a first, and a mean look on her face.

"Oooh, the knives come out!" Magilou said, acting scared. "So even the truth won't stop you… Very well." Eizen said to Velvet. "But you haven't told her the whole truth." Zane said to everyone, making everyone look at him with confused looks on their faces.

"What are you talking about?" Eleanor asked Zane. "Magilou and Eizen only know a little of the truth. Not the whole thing. The whole truth doesn't start here. It starts at the very beginning." Zane said to everyone. "What are you talking about?" Velvet asked Zane.

"Giratina told me the truth during my years of training under him. You see the Empyreans aren't real. Empyreans is just a world your people made up to explain what your gods are." Zane said to everyone. "But you saw Innominat's power. How can you say the Empyreans aren't real?" Eleanor asked Zane.

"Because Innominat isn't an Empyrean, he's the fallen Legendary Pokemon." Zane said to everyone, surprising them all. "What?!" Eleanor asked Zane.

"Let me start at the beginning. Long before even time and space even exited the universe's only living being was the Unknown." Zane said to everyone. "The Unknown?" Laphicet asked Zane, sounding confused.

"Their small Pokemon that take the shape of letters with a large white eye somewhere on their bodies. These little Pokemon are the writers of the universe." Zane said to everyone. "You mean, they make fate?" Eleanor asked Zane.

"No. They just make things, they don't control anything. For example, If we just had the S Unknown, it couldn't do anything. But if we had the S, W, O, R, and D Unknowns. Then they can make a mighty sword." Zane said to everyone. "I like that idea." Rokurou said to everyone.

"The problem is that the S, W, O, R, and D Unknown would each have their own idea about how the sword would look, and what kind of power it would have. So the sword would end up an unusable and jumbled mess of ideas. And that's what the universe was like at the start, just a mess of ideas unable to take form. Realizing that this couldn't go on, the Unknowns pulled their 18 energy together and formed that energy into a single egg." Zane said to everyone. "And egg?" Eleanor asked Zane, very confused.

"They agree that they couldn't agree on anything, and if they wanted a leader that could lead them. Then they must have let it choose the shape it wanted. And after a while, the egg finally figured out how he wanted to look, and started to hatch. Letting out a surge of energy that could only be considered a Big Bang, whipping out the mess the Unknown made. And with that clean slate, Arceus was born." Zane said to everyone. "The stories do say that Arceus' birth was the birth of the universe. So I believe him." Aguya said to everyone.

"Thank you Aguya. Now after his birth, Arceus got to work in making the universe. First making my master Giratina, and his siblings, Dialga and Palkia, making time, space and their by-product Antimatter. Next was Rayquaza, Groudon, and Kyogre who made the sky, land, and sky, and also made conflict, with Groudon and Kyogre always picking fights with each other. Next was Xerneas and Yveltal who started the circle of life with Zygarde watching them. Then Arceus made the rest of his children, for whatever he thought the world needed, with the last one being the seed of all other Pokemon that existed, Mew." Zane said to everyone.

"What does any of this have to do with Innominat?" Velvet asked Zane. "I'm getting there. I'm getting there." Zane said to Velvet.

"You see thanks to Arceus meddling with the 18 elements to make his children, more planets came into existence, and with plant life and insects came from the Grass and Bug elements, the rest of the animal kingdom came from the element of life, Fairy, clashing with the other elements." Zane said to everyone. "What do you mean?" Laphicet asked Zane.

"You see, the original fish came from the clash of Fairy and Water. The original birds came from the clash of Fairy and Flying. The original reptiles came from the clash of Fairy and Fire. And the origin of many other animals came from the clash of Fairy and Normal. And over time these animals would change and adapt to the worlds they were born on, becoming the animals of today. The only two species that weren't born from Fairy clashing, were creatures like the malakhim, creatures like the Dragons." Zane said, suspinging Laphicet.

"What do you mean?!" Laphicet asked Zane. "You see, creatures like the malakhim come from the Ghost energy. How they're born is when someone with too much Fairy energy left dies." Zane said to Lpahciet. "What do you mean?" Eleanor asked Zane.

"When we're all born, we're covered in Fairy Energy. This energy is what allows young ones to heal quickly and grow up. But over time Ghost energy, the energy of death, starts to grow inside you, creating weak spots. And if you hit one of these spots, you could die. But the spots are random, so you can't know where to aim for. Giratina told me about this guy called Achilles, he was very powerful, but Ghost energy started to form in his heel, and with a good shot into his heel he died." Zane said to everyone.

"What does this have to do with the malakhim?" Lapchiet asked Zane. "When we get old, the Ghost energy will cover most of our body, and when it completely covers our body that's when we die. But if you die while still having a good amount of Fairy energy still left in your body, then that fairy energy will give birth to a spirit, that's how creatures like the malakhim came into being. With the spirit's power depending on how much Fairy energy it had left. For most of the Abbey's grunts, their Malakhim died as young adults. But malakhim like you and Eizen, died when you were little kids, probably younger than Kamoana." Zane said to Laphciet, shocking Lacphiet.

"What about malakhim like Grim and Bienfu?" Magilou asked Zane. "For them, they came from items that had been exposed to enough Fairy energy from being around living things enough to become a spirit when the item was destroyed. And given their personality and looks, I'm pretty sure Bienfu was from a hat performers used to wear before it was destroyed, and Grimoirh might have been a library for myths and magic that got burned down." Zane said to Magilou.

"I do remember appearing surrounded by ash when I first came into existence." Grimoirh said to everyone. "What about the dragons? Were they made similar to the Malakhim?" Rokurou asked Zane.

"No. You see, the purest form of energy is the Dragon energy. And in the beginning the first dragons of the cosmos were born when massive amounts of energy gather in one spot and become sentient. But what we've seen on our journey is when a malakhim energy level exited their body, evolving them into a dragon." Zane said to everyone.

"I don't think I would consider this as evolving." Eizen said to Zane. "This still doesn't explain Innominat." Velvet said to Zane, sounding annoyed. "I was just about to get there." Zane said to Velvet.

"Innominat was made after the rise of a dangerous species. One born from the clash of Fairy and Dark. This species would be later called, Humanity." Zane said to everyone, surprising Eleanor. "What?" Eleanor asked Zane.

"Unlike other species, Humanity had no limit to where they could live, a world covered in water, no problem. A jungle world, no big deal. A desert world, easy. They spread like wildfire through the cosmos, destroying many things and becoming a major threat to it." Zane said to everyone.

"No humans wouldn't be that evil and dangerous. There are plenty of good humans out there." Eleanor said to Zane.

"Nowadays, yes. But at the start nope. To make this easier for you to understand. The original humans weren't like us. They were more like daemons. And all they knew was destruction. Plants, animals, even other humans, they destroyed everything they saw without mercy or reason. Arceus could not let us run wild and destroy everything, so with his powers, he removed us from nature and locked us up with the power of the Normal energy. And that's how the humans of today look the way we do." Zane said to everyone.

"What do you mean by locked up?" Laphicet asked Zane. "Laphicet. Don't you think it's wired, that humans can make such things like cities, weapons, boats, and aren't limited by the existence of another living thing? While animals are still traveling by foot, using their body parts to fight, live in something nature made, and their numbers are limited by other living things. It's because humans were isolated from nature, in order to protect it. But then Arceus' mercy caused more problems." Zane said to Laphicet.

"How can mercy cause more problems?" Eleanor asked Zane. "Well, by locking us up, he removed our ability to function in nature. We had no idea what are something not to do or what we should be doing. Slowly our kind started to die. Feeling bad for doing this to them, Arceus made three more children to help their development. The first was Angelesa, the Legendary Pokemon of Good Experiences. Diabloto, the Legendary Pokemon of Bad Experiences. And the master of this trio, Innominat, The Legendary Pokemon of Peace." Zane said to everyone.

"So Innominat really is a god of peace?" Eleanor asked Zane. "Kinda. Innominat wasn't about world peace. He was about personal peace. You see, Angelesa was a Water and Flying Type, and she made everyone have a good experience while she was around. For example it's her presence that made Laphicet love Mado curry. And Diabloto was a Fire and Ground Type, and he made everyone have a bad experience while he was around. For example, it's his presence that made Eleanor dislike Sale'tomah." Zane said to everyone.

"Why would they be about experiences and not good and evil?" Eleanor asked Zane. "Good and evil are things humans made to make them feel better about their cruelty. After all, is a mother wolf, who killed a baby deer, to feed her babies, a good creature or a bad creature?" Zane asked everyone.

"Depending on who's looking at her, she's both. To the mother deer she's a monster, to her babies she's a hero." Grimoirh said to Zane. "Correct, and that's the true nature of good and evil, it's just how you look at it that makes it good or evil. There's not one clear side. That's why we need experiences. By experiencing good stuff, we can form what we think is good. And by experiencing bad stuff, we can form what we think is evil." Zane said to everyone.

"And how does Innominat fit into all this?" Velvet asked Zane. "You see over time some of our good experiences could become Malevolence like Lust, Obsession, or Despair. And if we got a pretty bad experience that could spark Malevolence like Hatred and Cowardice." Zane said to everyone.

"How can our good experiences turn into Malevolence?" Laphicet asked Zane. "You see Laphicet, if you love someone, and they suddenly died, you'll hate how they died, or go into despair over the fact that you'll never see them again. And those are what you're supposed to feel when that happens. The problem is with humans, that once they feel that feeling, they have a better chance of spiraling out of control and being consumed by whatever feeling they are feeling. It was Innominat's job to keep that from happening with his nine heads." Zane said to everyone.

"Nine? Don't you mean eight?" Laphicet asked Zane. "Nope, Innominat had nine heads when he was born, one his main head that had the power to heal, and the other eight to eat the Malevolence of Lust, Greed, Selfishness, Obsession, Cowardice, Conceit, Hatred, and Despair." Zane said to everyone.

"But if he had nine, why does the book say he has eight?" Velvet asked Zane. "Because someone must have found his corpse and thought he always had eight heads." Zane said to Velvet. "Wait? Corpse?!" Eleanor asked Zane.

"You see over time Innominat grew to hate his job, he found humans were nothing but trouble. That their free will was something these savages didn't deserve. Innominat tried to convince the other Legendary Pokemon that they should wipe out humanity if they wanted real peace. But Arceus won't allow it. Despite all that humanity has done, he still believed in them, and told Innominat to forget his crazy ideas. But Innominat didn't take his rejection lightly, and decided to go behind everyone's back and acted out his plans. Angelesa and Diabloto try to talk him out of it, but Innominat wouldn't be turned away from what he thought was a nobel mission, and realized that if he wanted to bring peace to the cosmos, then Angelesa and Diabloto had to go. So he ate them." Zane said to everyone, shocking everyone.

"He ate his own siblings?!" Velvet asked Zane, getting over her shock and sounding mad. "Yep, and once he did, not only did he gain new powers, but he also became the fallen Legendary Innominat, and was hunted across the cosmos. To keep the other Legendary away from him as he went about bringing peace to the cosmos, he created many problems in the cosmos. On a world called Kumandra, Innominat used the powers of Diabloto and the Malevolence of Conceit to turn most of the humans in that world into monster called the Druun, luckily Kyurem used his powers of ice to seal them away before they could do any more damage. Another example is on another planet, Innominat turned a dark dragon called Grima into a giant monster, but he was stopped by Calyrex and the other Legdarys of his land teaming up with a dragon called Naga. and on the world called Gemina, Innominat made a being of pure energy made out of Greed and Selfishness, but that was locked away as well." Zane said to everyone.

"If he was so bad, why didn't they try stopping him, instead of dealing with the monsters he made?" Eleanor asked Zane. "They tried. Rayquaza, Groudon, Kyogre, Necrozma, Solgaleo, and Lunala waited on a planet called Xadia for a long while, ready to ambush Innominat. But Innominat noticed how the Sky, Earth, Ocean, Stars, Sun, and Moon had way more energy than usual, and skipped them and got back to his mission." Zane said to everyone.

"And what was that mission?" Rokurou asked Zane. "The removal of the mind. Innominat learned that no matter how many humans he killed it would make much of a difference in their numbers. So Innominat figured that the only way peace with humans can be achieved was by stripping them of their minds. Make them all think the same and stop them from understanding feelings. If he did that, they'll never make Malevolence again. And to help with that plan, Innominat abused the types Angelesa and Diabloto had, and reshaped many words into the same planet, a planet he called Earth, and damaged their time limes so they were more or less the same. And any trace of the original planet became a rare fragment hidden in those worlds." Zane said to everyone.

"Is that really the peace Innominat will bring?" Eleanor asked Zane. "Yes. Arceus couldn't let Innominat keep doing this, so he took to the field, and waited on a random planet. Then the day came when Innominat showed up, this time walking right into the trap. And once Arceus had Innominat trapped, they had a grand battle that lasted 7 days and 7 nights, it would have been over a lot sooner if Arceus was actually trying to kill Innominat and not try and reason with him, not that Innominat cared for reason. But in the end, Arceus had no choice and slashed off Innominat's main head, killing him. But this was only a temporary thing." Zane said to everyone.

"What do you mean temporary?" Velvet asked Zane. "Legendary Pokemon aren't like us. To them death is just a long nap. So long as the concept they represent lives on, they'll recover. For Innominat, that means, so long as people kept finding inner peace, his head would reattach to his body. So Arceus took the body to the other side of the Cosmos and made the very world we were standing on around it. This way Innominat will never come back." Zane said to everyone.

"If that's the case, how is he coming back?" Rokurou asked Zane. "Technically, he's not. Form what what Giratina told me, over time the non Pokemon species spirits started to sync up with Pokemon spirits, for example, most bees are soul linked to a Combee, but this has very little effect on their nature. But every now and then something will have a very rare spirit link with a Legendary Pokemon, and if they're lucky they can use their powers, like Kamoana and Laphicet's bug, both are heralds of Innominat's powers. But their souls are not 100% in sync, if they were, they would be more like Innominat then a monster. So all they can do is use his power to eat and that's it." Zane said to everyone.

"Any way to make it 100%?" Velvet asked Zane. "Nope. If they were just moving at a different pace but had the same spirit, an item made out of the Legendary Pokemon could fix that. But in Kamoana's case, as well as most cases, her spirit is similar to Innominat and moving at the same pace, but is too small for more than what she's got. As for me, my link with Giratina is 99%, that's part of the reason he picked me for this. While he did have other options, I was the best choice, and he also liked how I was more okay with killing someone then the other options." Zane said to everyone.

"You're only a 99%?" Lapchiet asked Zane. "Yep, but not at first, I was about a 80% when I first started then a 90% after I gained this power. And after training, I got to 99%, but that's the most I can get. you see, to be 100% means that you gave your life and became an exaction of the Legendary Pokemon. That's another reason I was picked, anyone else would have taken too long to get to anyone above 95% before the mission started." Zane said to everyone.

"What about Kamoana, is she in danger of becoming more in sync with Innominat?" Eleanor asked Zane. "At the moment, I say she's a low 30%. It would take a lot of training to raise that number, but I doubt the Abbey would waste their time with that. After all, if she's too low, they would just kill her and replace her with someone else." Zane said to Eleanor.

"Would they really do that?" Velvet asked Zane. "Logicly, yes. Remember the book. "Therions shall be forever reborn", whoever wrote that knew that they could find replacements. It might be a tedious process, but they could find a replacement. But thanks to us stealing her instead of killing her, they can't replace her. Giratina said that it takes a lot to remove Legendary Pokemon power from something. Since we're in sync, unlocking that power is no different then unlocking a power hidden inside our bodies. So the only way to remove it is to either give it up freely or kill the user. And given the therions are made from Malevolence, and eating it, I doubt they would give up their powers. So killing them is the only way to retrieve the power they have. Not that Arceus would cry over us humans killing us for power." Zane said to everyone.

"What are you talking about? I thought Arceus fought to help humans?" Laphicet asked Zane. "He did, but later he regretted that choice." Zane said to Laphicet. "Why?" Laphicet asked Zane.

"Well, after Innominat was taken care of, people started to make very destructive choices. One of the first cases of this was on a planet called Terca Lumireis, there, humans messed with the natural flow of the energy of the planet making a massive monster the size of the planet, and stopping it cost Arceus the life of one of his many Latias daughters. Next some humans calling themselves the First Ones unlocked space travel and tried to take space for themselves, starting a war that only really ended when the First Ones greatest hero and their greatest weapon disappeared without a trace. Later on a planet called Fodra, the humans their captured Rayquaza, Groudon, and Kyogre and experimented on them, thinking that they were above that natural order and that they were gods that could make their own worlds, but that ended with Fodra being destroyed in a flurry of wind, water, and lava. But the final straw came from the world called Auldrant about 1,800 years ago giver or take, where Arceus helped a deserted woman save her world. But the deserted woman's cowardiceness for a scary future made her think that it was a good idea to stab Arceus in the back. But that just made it worse. In rage, Arceus cursed her family and world in a never ending cycle of tragedy and death. she begged for forgiveness, but Arceus was done with humanity, and tossed her into a deep dark pit, where she still is to this day." Zane said to everyone.

"If that's true. Then why did he send Pokemon to help us?" Eleanor asked Zane. "He didn't. While most of our Pokemon wouldn't have a clue, Empress and Carver would probably have known the real mission." Zane said to Eleanor. "And that mission is?" Eleanor asked Zane.

"Humanity's extinction. Arceus couldn't let humans live on this planet any more. So the Pokemon were here to kill all of them and turn the world into a Pokemon only world." Zane said to everyone. "Would they really do that?" Laphicet asked Zane.

"Yep. They did it to a few planets around the cosmos. But Artorius used Innominat power to stop that from happening. And that brings us to where we are now. Which should be us leaving this place before daemons or exorcists show up. And you all can ask me any question you have, as we sail away." Zane said to everyone, as he walked towards the Van Eltia and got onto it.

Everyone said nothing before everyone started to follow Zane onto the Van Eltia, with Laphicet and Eleanor standing still, lost in thoughts. With Laphicet trying to process everything, and Eleanor questioning everything she even knew.

That's when Kamoana and John walked up to everyone, and noticed Eleanor had a confused and sad look on her face. "Um… uh…" Kamoana said, trying to remember Eleanors name.

"That's Eleanor." Laphicet said to Kamoana. "Ch.. Cheer up, Eleanor. Your mommy's looking over you, too, you know." Kamoana said to Eleanor, making Eleanor look at Kamoana, who had a smile on her face despite everything that happened. "Yeah… so she is. Thank you, Kamoana." Eleanor said to Kamoana, smiling a little.

Hello everyone, I hope you like this chapter. Please follow or review if you like this story. I hope you like the OC idea of the dead Pokemon Legendary Pokemon Angelesa and Diabloto, and that Innominat was once a Legendary Pokemon that committed great heresy for what he thought was right. And like Zane said, if you have any questions, he'll answer them on the boat(AKA, the next chapter).
