STAR Con Sci-Fi Con

-Early November 2022-

"But… why can't I be a guest?" Topar asked. "I'm an actor now." Kara sighed. Her son had been complaining about this since last week at the boys' and Danielle first birthday party when talk about the Con had intensified. Barry and Kayla had picked up a little more slack to cover for Caitlin, who couldn't do all she previously did.

"Barry, can you take this?" Kara finally asked, since Topar didn't seem to accept her answers.

"Well you're not a Science Fiction actor," Barry supplied simply.

"Isn't it now also a Fantasy Con. Doesn't Santa Clause count as Fantasy?" Topar asked "And Carter and Zari are guests! They are not Sci-Fi."

"Jurassic World - that's one hundred percent Sci-Fi," Barry countered to that. "But yes, it's a Fantasy Con, but you also have to remember you're still filming. You can't go to a con yet because no one knows you as an actor." Topar pouted at this. "Look, I am sure Christmas Con next year will be a big thing for you and we can see about getting you into more roles which will translate into more con appearances."

"Really?" Topar asked.

"Alex already has you signed on as her client," Barry said, giving him a wink and a smirk, and Topar gave him a hug at this, and then ran into his playroom. The hug pleased Barry.

"You couldn't have done that a week ago?" Kara asked.

"Sorry, it's been crazy," Barry said, and then jumped as a small speedster trail passed, followed by a bigger one that grabbed the small one. It was Rae with her turtle, Speedy.

"Connor!" Rae called.

"Well I can't train Speedy to be a superhero without taking her out," Connor said, coming down the stairs.

"Why are we training my turtle to be a hero?" Rae asked.

"Because it's a pet of a superhero," Connor countered. "I trained Wolf to be a hero. I can train a turtle."

"The wolf who is now living at the Sanctuary and playing a werewolf in a TV show?" Rae asked, tilting her head.

"Starring as a werewolf in a TV show," Connor countered; Kara and Barry sharing a look at the little fight playing out. "Hi Kara, Barry." Connor finally acknowledged them.

"Hi Connor, how's college?" Kara asked.

"Good, I love living in Metropolis near my dad and Lois. Things would be perfect if it wasn't for some creep with weird weapons attacking the League..." Connor mused but didn't elaborate on who the two figured was Karry's latest major enemy. It wasn't like Karry asked for help with these things. "Excited to be coming to the con though. Starts tomorrow right?"

"Saturday, Sunday, Monday," Barry said with a nod. The group having chosen Monday instead of Friday as their third day this year. "You staying for the entire weekend?"

"If you don't mind?" Connor asked. "My next class isn't until Tuesday afternoon, so I have the Monday free."

"You're welcome to stay," Kara said.

"Good thing, cause we still need to plot…" Connor's sentence was cut off by Rae grabbing something random off the table and tossing it at him. "What?" Connor asked surprised at his girlfriend interruption.

"Not yet," Rae said shaking her head.

"Oh they don't know?" Connor said, and Rae nodded. "Sorry."

"Hey Mini Me," the two were surprised by another Rae voice and another Rae appearing on the stairs. She had a dog and a black cat with her and didn't look too much older than their own Rae. "We plotting this or what? I just arrived to an empty room."

"Let me put Speedy away, Little Me and we can. Is Big Me showing?" Rae asked her alternate.

"Things on New Justice are way too busy for her to come here. We'll have to find a different third to back us up," Little Rae said; their own Rae and Connor went up the stairs.

"Should we be concerned?" Kara asked once the three were gone.

"I'm going to choose to ignore it and focus on STAR Con for now. We can handle whatever that's about when Rae chooses to let us in," Barry said with a shrug, trusting his little cousin/sister.

STAR Con: Day 1

Early morning of the first say of the con, Kayla was there before the doors were open getting set up. She had Danielle in her arms while Kara was watching the other kids. Caitlin was back at home, watching through the security cameras and calling, giving orders.

"Okay, so the Doctor Who section is set up. We have Animorphs ready. Oh, what about the big Charmed announcement?" Caitlin said over the phone.

"This afternoon. The cast is already here and I have to go," Kayla said, hanging up the phone as the three familiar older women walked up to her. "Holly, Shannon, Rose..." Kayla smiled at the three. "Your section is ready. Your big announcement is set for this afternoon. It will play throughout the screens on the con floor."

"Thanks so much. Being able to do this at STAR Con was a great opportunity," Holly said.

"Well, we are making this a Science Fiction and Fantasy Con so what better big fantasy thing to have than Charmed?" Kayla asked.

"How's your wife?" Shannon asked.

"A little restless. She's at home organizing us from there," Kayla said. "As good as someone can be while taking chemo." Kayla knew Shannon had cancer herself, and would understand that she wanted the topic changed. "So, a revival is finally in the works?"

"Actually, a spin off," Rose said. "But we can't say anymore right now."

"But hey, if you want to be a witch on the spin off we can probably work it out," Shannon with a wink.

"Ah, everyone knows I play a good demon," Kayla countered with a wink, referencing her Supernatural character. "And speaking of that, I thought the boys from Supernatural would have showed up by now..." Jensen and Jared had both agreed to appear for one day only, on the Saturday after all.

"Kayla, the scientist need you," it was Harry Wells - the Sci-Fi con had real scientist and major companies to go over their latest inventions, part of the science factor of the con. It had become a big thing with companies buying spots the year before. Harry usually took care of that, so this confused Kayla on why she was needed. "I'll handle finishing up here."

Kayla shared a look with Kara, who was to the side with the kids, but left the main room and went off into the side room where the scientists were located.

"There she is!" It was Lena Luthor; Luthor Corp always made sure to have a table, but Lena wasn't looking at Kayla though but at Dani. "My little star." Lena put her arms around Danielle and took her.

"What?" Kayla asked and then looked over at the Luthor presentation. It was the exterior wombs Dani was born in. "Oh, you're finally marketing them?"

"We made enough to open a center. We're thinking it will be very profitable and Dani here is my proof of concept," Lena said. "You got to let me show off the only living human born in one of these. Well, half-human, not that the public need to know this," she gave Kayla wink at that. "This will be the biggest hit of the con."

Before Kayla could think of an answer to this, her attention was taken to a familiar man: Oliver Queen was standing there.

"Biggest hit? I think that would go to Queens Consolidate," Oliver said, moving over. "We're making it possible to live off-world." Kayla took a look at the display. There was clearly some type of dome habitat and a method on how to terraform.

"Please," another man said, stepping forward. "Lord Industries is dealing with the problems of this world. Energy. An alternate energy source that will power the planet."

"Maxwell Lord, I assume?" Kayla said to the man.

"That would be," Maxwell Lord said nodding his head.

"And all three of you are wrong," a new voice said and yet another man was standing there. He had a strong jay, dark, slightly greying hair and blue eyes. "Palmer Tech is making nano technology which will make every day life better and is sure to be a hit."

"Palmer Tech? Any relation to Ray?" Kayla asked thinking of her Little Mermaid co-star.

"My little brother," the man said. "Hello, Ms Kent. I'm Sidney Palmer," he held a hand out to Kayla, who happily shook it.

"Nice to meet you," Kayla said, not having been aware Ray had a brother. "Ray should be here somewhere, doing some autographs."

"We'll be meeting up later tonight, but like I said, my nano technology clearly is way ahead of either of these three," Sidney said with a smirk, which started Oliver and Maxwell Lord arguing their points for what they were showing at the same time while Lena butted in too.

Kayla shared a look with Krypto, who had been silently by her side, now sitting up and started growling loudly, making everyone stop.

"I'm going to take a play from a friend's playbook," Kayla said and then put on her best interpterion of new Justice Rae. "Nerds all back to your own corners. No more fighting."

"Nerds?" Oliver pointed out, but Kayla didn't argue that one - she knew Oliver was the least nerdiest of the lot and probably more the face of Queen Consolidates rather than an actual inventor. Nevertheless, the three men went back to their displays at that, while Lena stayed where she was - still holding Dani.

"So, Kayla... Dani?" Lena asked.

"You know, I could use a babysitter," Kayla said putting Dani's diaper bag near Lena. "Don't over exhaust her and make sure she's not exposed to the public - Rao knows what would happen with people knowing she's my daughter."

"Don't worry, she'll be protected," Lena smile, knowing full well how important the little girl was.

"Well, have fun," Kayla gave her daughter a kiss on the head before leaving Lena and her daughter.

"Wait, babysitter...?" Lena asked as Kayla and Krypto left.

"You didn't think that one through, did you?" Oliver called from his area, seeing the dumbfounded look on Lena's face.

The big thing for both Kayla and Barry this first day was a panel for Animorphs. With the movie officially green lit, all the actors in contract, and filming scheduled to begin the beginning of 2024, advertising it was important and something both Kayla and Barry agreed for several of the STAR Cons to focus on - especially since STAR Con was the only cons Kayla would attending until Caitlin was in remission.

Now, Kayla sat besides Patty - who had agreed to attend the one day of the con - as they did a ceremonial handing off of Rachel which the group had planned. Patty handed Kayla a 'Rachel supply kit', which was really an action figure, one of the books, and one of the Animorphs comics that heavily featured Rachel. Kayla, for her part smiled and showed off the pieces to the crowd, who clapped.

"Well, back during the first ever STAR Con it was asked who would be able to replace Patty as Rachel and everyone wanted Kayla. Now it's a reality," the person they had there to interview the cast stated, and the screen in back of them played the exact moment from the first STAR Con where Patty said she would want Kayla to replace her, with cheers echoing. "So, Kayla how did they get you to agree?"

"There was a lot of begging from Barry, Nate, and Mari," Kayla said, causing the three who she had worked with on other projects to give a laugh. "But since it will film close to home I figured it would be good. At the moment I am only accepting projects close to home so I can be home as often as possible for my wife and kids." Kayla was hopeful by the time Animorphs filmed Caitlin would be better, but she also knew it could be a long fight.

"Of course, of course," the interviewer said. It had been agreed beforehand not to talk of Caitlin's cancer, but it was public knowledge now. "Patty, I am sure you're happy Kayla is taking over the reigns."

"Honestly, I'm thrilled," Patty agreed. "And if she ever needs Rachel advice, my door is open for her."

"That's great," The interview said. "I see we have some questions from the audience?" There was a line starting to form at the microphone. "Go on."

"Ralph, are you going to be in the movie?" Was the first question asked.

"I am," Ralph said with a smile; he was a lot calmer this con than he had been on the previous ones. "There was discussion on how to get me back. Flashbacks to Ax was one of them, but in the end I will be playing a new Andalite character. A relative of both Ax and Prince Elfangor." There was some clapping at that as the questioner thanked Ralph and stepped back.

"Barry and Kayla," the next questioner started. "You two tend to play couples a lot, but you're really brother and sister-in-law. Is it weird to be kissing, and even doing sex scenes together?"

"No not really," Kayla said, thinking to herself since her bond with Kara she had a lot of firsthand knowledge of Barry's sex life - more than any scenes they had to do together where they were unclothed in anyway.

"We did play a couple before I was even dating Kara," Barry added to that.

"Barry's actually a great person to play a romance with. And not a bad kisser," Kayla said with a smirk.

"I'll take the compliment. Kayla randomly kisses the exact same as my wife," Barry said.

"Well we are identical in every way," Kayla added to that.

"So, your wives don't find it weird you two are constantly kissing?" The questioner continued.

"My wife prefers it if I kiss males over females. She knows I have no interest in them at all for real life," Kayla pointed out although Kayla had been been shocked how calm Caitlin had been when she did have romance scenes with a woman during doctor who. "And I can answer for my sister, because she doesn't care one bit."

"I will confirm that," Barry added to laughs from the crowd, and they were thanked as the next questioner came up.

After the Anirmophs panel there was an Anirmophs photo shoot with everyone and then Kayla and Barry were doing a double photo shot together.

Lena is actually taking great care of Dani, Kara thought to Kayla when Kayla finally got to her autograph booth. She and Barry were next to each other as they always were at STAR Cons. I went to check on them.

Thanks, how are Zari and Carter doing? Kayla hadn't had time to check on the two young teens at the con, letting them do their own thing, but she knew her sister would be taking care of all the kids and watching out for them.

Doing great. You doing photos shoots with Zari later, right? Kara asked back.

Yes, Kayla thought to her sister as then all the screens turned on. Oh, time for the big Charmed announcement...

Holly was the one making the announcement as she came onto the stage alone. The Charmed logo was on the screen behind her.

"Hello everyone! I know a lot of you have been wanting more Charmed," Holly announced. "I know you were upset at the prospects a few years back about a reboot not including the original cast; luckily that got shot down and we are here to say a spin off is in the works and has been greenlit at CBS!" There was cheers. "We can't say too much but we will say the spin off will be about the Charmed Ones next lives. So there will be new actresses to play the next lives of the Charmed Ones. Meanwhile Rose, Shannon, and I will be coming back for Flashbacks to the former Charmed Ones lives after the original left off." At that, Rose and Shannon took to the stage, to cheers from the crowds at the three Charmed Ones back together.

"Who else will be back?" Someone yelled out.

"Brian will be back as Whitelighter, Leo - yes, he will be a whitelighter again," Holly stated.

"And Drew will be playing Chris, the next Charmed Ones ghostly grandfather in a Grams-like role," Rose explained.

"We haven't confirmed yet but Julian may agree to do cameos as Cole," Shannon added.

"Alyssa!" The crowd yelled out.

"As you know, due to differences in personalities Alyssa left the show after year 3 and Phoebe was killed off and never seen again. As of such, there's no plans right now to include her in the spin off, but we are always open to the idea," Holly said, very diplomatically. "Any more questions?"

"Would either Kayla Kent or Barry Allen be in the show?" Someone asked and both Kayla and Barry gave each other a look as they signed autographs; most people had turned to the video so they had a little free time to take everything in.

"We're open to it," Rose said. "Kayla did make a comment before that she plays a good demon."

Kayla laughed at her own words from before as people cheered at that. "I think I just added fuel to that fire," Kayla said to Barry. "Why every time there is a STAR Con, we get asked about appearing in projects we have nothing to do with?"

"Just to let you know I heard the Stargate panel asked about us possibly appearing in the Stargate universe and also made comments about if we can get them," Barry added.

"Thanks for the heads up," Kayla said with a nod and laugh as the Charmed announcement continued in the background.

STAR Con: Day 2

"So, Lena wants Dani again?" Barry asked as they entered STAR Convention Center for the day. Caitlin had come this time but said she would stay in the office. Kayla deciding not to argue this, so the group was heading for the office. Kara had Ruby and Marley while Kayla was holding Dani and Zari had come with her. Zari had headed to where her signature booth was right away, to check how many pictures she had left and what she needed more of.

"Are we sure about letting Lena use our daughter like this?" Caitlin asked as she took a seat in the office. Harrison Wells was there, but gave a nod of agreement at this.

"She took care of Dani well yesterday," Kayla said. "And the public didn't get too close to Dani. Kara will check on her throughout the day, too."

"Well if Lena gets tired of her, I'll be here," Caitlin said and Kayla kissed her wife cheek.

"By the way Caitlin, nice wig," Barry said and Caitlin gave a smile as the two left the office, Caitlin fiddling with the long light brown wig she was wearing. Thanks to Kayla, it really was the best of the best and very comfortable she didn't even know she was wearing it most of the time.

"Kayla," Kayla smiled as Russell T. Davis came over to them. The big thing for the day was Doctor Who. While they had Who actors all three day, this was the day every single Who actor would be here. "Barry, Harrison, there is something I need to run by you three."

"Oh?" Harrison Wells said.

"The BBC wants to make an official Doctor Who Con, but we need partners. We were wondering if STAR Con would agree to partner with us?" Russell said and the three were shocked by this. "The idea is two cons a year - one in Britain and one here. The BBC will provide the current stars of Doctor Who and the spin offs. It's already being negotiated into their contracts, and the BBC will also help get former actors to the cons. In exchange, STAR Co will help host and fund both this con and the one in Britain. These are the terms and all the research the BBC and I have done showing it will be a success for both of us."

Russell handed over a large folder which Harrison took.

"We'll consider it and give an answer sometime after the con," Harry said.

"That is all I ask," Russell said, and moved back.

"That is kind of awesome," Barry said to Harrison. "But I wouldn't be able to be a guest unless I get on Who..."

"We'll worry about that one later. Why don't you give all that over to Caitlin? It'll give her a project to distract her," Kayla said giving a smirk. This sounded like something simple that could keep Caitlin busy and make her feel useful. Kayla knew since starting her cancer treatment, the idea she wasn't being helpful and useful because she was weaker had been eating at her.

"I'll hand it off to her now," Harry said with a nod. "You two should get on the convention floor. Both Star Trek and Doctor Who panels today."

Barry was sitting with Wally West and Victoria Stone as the Star Trek Galaxy trailer was shown. Unfortunately, Jeri Ryan couldn't make it this year, but they did get Kate Mulgrew there and several other big names from across the Star Trek Universe. Galaxy would be the next Star Trek show to air though, so had the most excitement.

"Why is Danny Crusher being down graded?" A fan yelled out before the person hosting the panel could even talk and a lot of fans yelled out as well.

"I can take this," Barry said into his microphone before the host could react. "Hi. So, good question. Honestly, I asked to be moved down to a re-occurring role for this season which, will be my last season on Star Trek Galaxy. Afterward, I will be in an upcoming Next Generation movie which will end all plots for Danny Crusher currently." Alex had worked this out with the Star Trek Universe producers recently, and all had agreed Barry could announce it at STAR Con. Barry was actually really excited about the movie. It would involve Jack Picard, Jean-Luc and Beverly's youngest son, as well as Danny Crusher.

"But why?" A fan called out.

"At the moment I have been offered a lot of other projects I would like to explore and I can't be in Star Trek and explore them. For now, it's time for Danny Crusher to take a rest, but that doesn't mean I will never return to him," Barry said and that seemed to calm the fans down.

"Projects like Voyage to Krypton," the host stated, and Barry had to smile at the mention of his movie. While filming had finished in the summer, the release date wasn't until this coming summer.

"Yes, and other things," Barry said. "I can't say to much about certain roles yet but I think everyone will enjoy them. I know I loved filming Voyage to Krypton."

"I heard a rumor Kayla filmed for that movie as well," a fan said, stepping up to the microphone.

"Did you?" Barry said trying not to smirk but didn't go any further into answering this.

"Is she going to be in Star Trek again?" Another fan asked.

"She has filmed some roles with Danny for this season," Barry confirmed and was thankful when the host bought the conversation back on track, to discuss the upcoming Star Trek Galaxy with more fan questions later in the panel. But it seemed Barry had calmed the outrage over him leaving Danny in the past well enough.

Later that day, Kayla took her place besides Tom Ellis at the Doctor Who panel. Krypto was on the floor near her; Doctor Who was taking the big stage and like Charmed the day before, the big announcement would be transferred live around the hall on the big screens.

It was surprising how many Doctor Who guests they had managed to get - every new who Doctor except for Chirstopher Eccelson, Peter Capaldi, and Judi Dench were here. Classic Doctors, Peter Davidson, Colin Baker, and Sylvester McCoy had shown up as well; Sylvester being a last minute addition. Paul McGann had also jumped in last minute. There were multiple companions from both Classic and New Who as well. It was impressive and Kayla was wondering if they could pull off a solo Doctor Who con.

"Long time," it was Matt Smith, taking a seat next to Kayla who had to laugh - the two had just done a Harry Potter mini panel together since this was also a Fantasy Con now and they voiced two of the mains: Harry and Hermione, of course.

"Yeah, really long time," Kayla joked back with a wink as the audience for the panel was coming in,

Russell T. Davis was taking center stage for the announcement. Once given the all clear he started to talk.

"Welcome everyone," Russell said as the camera focused on him to send the panel live through the hall. "Now, before we get to question and answers I have an announcement to make. As you all know, the newest season with Tom Ellis and Kayla Kent will be starting this Christmas with a Christmas Special to introduce them both and then continuing in January. After that, next year in November will start the big 60th Anniversary Specials. Seven specials, where Classic Doctors will meet up with New Doctors. We have announced the recast for all Classic Doctors before... but what is a Doctor without a Companion? Today we will be announcing our recasts and tell you which Classic Doctor is meeting up with which New Doctor."

On a large screen behind Russell a photo of a Doctor appeared. "The First Doctor, as played by David Bradley, will be joined by Susan, Barbara, and Ian who will be played by the same actors from Adventures in Time and Space - Jamie Glover as Ian, Jemma Powell as Barbara, and Claudia Grant as Susan," their pictures appeared as well on the screen of them in character from the previous special. "Will be meeting up with our War Doctor, Judi Dench!" Judi Dench appeared on the screen as well.

"In the second special we will have three Doctors - two from Classic Who; one being the second Doctor who Harry Melling will be taking over, and the Third Doctor portrayed by Sean Pertwee. The Second Doctor will have Jamie with him and Colin Morgan will be taking over that role, while the Third Doctor will have Sarah Jane Smith, who we have cast Charlotte Richie from BBC's Ghost for," there was a cheer for these recasting. "They will be meeting up with the Eleventh Doctor who will have River Song along for the ride - Matt Smith here and Alex Kingston obviously returning to those roles."

"Ponds!" Someone called out.

"Unfortunately, River is the only Pond showing up," Russell countered, to disappointment from the crowd, but he was already moving on with the announcement.

"The third special will have the Fourth Doctor, portrayed by Jon Culshaw who will be with Leela - recast to Bonnie Wright from Harry Potter! They will be meeting up with the Thirteenth Doctor and Dan," Kayla kept momentarily looked at the pictures of all the actors and actresses, amused at another Harry Potter name working their way into Doctor Who. "The Fourth Special will have the Fifth Doctor, who will be Tom Felton with Nyssa who has been recast to Katie McGrath from Merlin." Kayla paused as that picture came on the screen - it was amazing to her her how much Katie McGrath looked like Lena Luthor; although not as attractive as Lena, she had to admit. "They will be meeting up with our current Fourteen Doctor, Tom Ellis, who will be with Kayla Kent's Jane Roe." Kayla gave a big smile as her character name was said and her own image appeared on the screen.

"Now, the fifth special will have the Sixth Doctor, played by William Mosley meeting up with the Ninth Doctor - unfortunately talks with Christopher Eccleston have broken down and we are looking to recast the Ninth Doctor for this special." There was some disappointed moans at this, but it wasn't a big surprise given Christopher Eccleston's past experiences with Doctor Who. "Our companions will be Peri, played by Rose Mclver - yes, CBS's Ghost main actress, and I can confirm Billie Piper has agreed to reprise Rose." There was some cheers on that and Kayla realized Billie Piper would be the only one not a recast in the entire thing.

"And that is the end of our recast, as both Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred will be returning to play the Seventh Doctor and Ace in the sixth special," Sophie and Sylvester gave waves to the audience at where they were sitting. "Some makeup and CGI will be used for Sylvester, but since we never did say when Ace left the Doctor and she hasn't been in Doctor Who since the new era started, we don't have to do anything for her."

"Lucky I didn't return for Jodie's last episode," Sophie Aldred called out, since she was sitting on the panel and there was some laughs. Kayla knew that it had been Tegan and Mel who had ended up in that last special instead.

"The Seventh Doctor and Ace will be meeting up with the Twelfth Doctor and Clara," Russell finished. "And the seventh and last special will be the Eighth Doctor meeting up with the Tenth Doctor. Paul's Doctor will be joined by Liv Chenka, who will be portrayed by her Big Finish actress Nicola Walker. Meanwhile, David's Doctor will have both Martha Jones and Donna Noble along for the ride," like with everyone before, their images appeared on the screen behind him.

Russell took a breath. "Now, recasting was the only way to do this mega crossover event we wanted, but we know you all want to see the originals back. Which is why Tom Baker, Peter Davidson, and Colin Baker will all appear as versions of the Curator, meanwhile every living companion that has been recast, the original actors will also be making cameo appearances as well - in what capacity, we won't reveal as yet," he gave a wink to the crowds. "Well, now, that I have been talking endlessly lets open up this panel up to questions!"

Kayla was happy questions went first to the Doctors on the panels - she wanted to observe for a while and take in how well liked Doctor Who was here, and how best to structure her own responses to fit those of the so-called 'Whovians'.

"Kayla?" A question finally went to her. "I know you're only on for a season, but would you ever return to Doctor Who?"

"Well, at the moment, filming for a prolonged time in Britain is out of the question due to personal issues," Kayla said, knowing everyone would understand what she meant. "But afterward, if Russell or whoever the showrunner will be down the line gave me a reasonable way Jane could return, I would definitely consider it. I will say there is always Big Finish. They are already trying to make a deal with me even before my season airs!" She laughed at this one. "I don't mind voice work I can do from home, obviously."

"Yeah, Hermione," Matt Smith joked with Kayla. "If you do end up doing Big Finish maybe Eleven and Jane can meet up."

"That'd be surreal but amazing," Kayla couldn't help but laugh at this as there were cheers at the answer as the panel moved on to other questions and conversations - some directed to Jodie's last episode involving the Master, the return of classic companions Tegan and Mel and how exactly Graham ended up in a volcano chasing Daleks.

STAR Con: Day 3

The third day of STAR Con was a calmer day; being on a Monday there were less actors attending and less people, since others had to be at work. There was still some interesting panels and photo shots but did give Kayla and Barry more time to be with their families.

Karry Universe's Connor was still hanging about and Barry was getting a little anxious to discover what he and Rae had been plotting with Rae's own alternates. Lena was still doing her presentation on the wombs, which had gotten a lot of attention from women and some older guests. The younger crowd had been drawn more to Oliver and space travel, and Sidney with his nano technology. Maxwell Lord also had some interest in his power generators, too. There were other scientist and companies there but those four has been the big four this year.

"Did you enjoy your time with Aunt Lena?" Kayla asked Dani that evening when Lena gave the one-year-old over to her. Krypto gave a bark and licking Dani as well.

"I took good care of her," Lena said.

"I know. Kara spied," Kayla said, giving her sister who came up with Ruby and Marley a smile. Zari was still doing a last-minute photo shoot but that was ending soon.

"I don't know how your wife does this in one day," Harrison Wells was saying, coming up to where Barry and Kayla were sitting with everyone. Caitlin had been so occupied by looking over the Doctor Who Convention idea she hadn't come to the con at all that day. "She already has all our cons scheduled for the next years, including a Who con. How much it would cost us to help fund the British side. She even has ideas for our special twists to cons." Every STAR Con had a special twist to it, as Sci-Fi Con had real scientist showing off real inventions; their general con had stunt demonstrations; the Hero Con had several real heroes always show up and in depth look on hero take downs and even power explanation. The Musical Con, their newest con, let people have singing lessons with actual musical coaches.

"Wow, she really was quick getting the Doctor Who convention in," Kayla had to muse at her wife's efficiency.

"Well, it's a three-year contract the BBC is asking for. We can float it for three years and then see if it's worth renewing," Harrison said.

"So we're going to do it?" Barry asked his adopted father, his eyes wide.

"Kayla, you're the Doctor Who actress," Harry said to Kayla.

"I say let's do it," Kayla said with a nod.

"Excuse me," Barry said, getting up and giving Kelvin, who he had been holding, to Kara who had Asher. "I'm going to go find Russell T Davies and try to get a Doctor Who part!" Barry ran at a human speed around the convention hall, making Kayla and the others there laugh.

"Good luck to him," Kayla mused, wondering what sort of role Barry would end up getting if he succeeded.

-Beautiful-

That night, Kara and Barry came home late. Kara was putting the sleeping twins to bed as Barry was carrying a sleeping Topar to his room.

"Kara, Barry?" It was Rae. Their Rae. "Can I have a word?"

"Sure," Kara said, nodding her head and leading Rae back downstairs so they didn't wake the kids; Barry joining a moment later. "Is Connor gone?"

"Yeah, he has classes tomorrow," Rae said. "But you might have noticed we have been plotting something - well, something that's not making Speedy a superhero." Barry and Kara gave a chuckle at that. "I want to open up a pop up restaurant."

"What?" Barry asked.

"It's like a one-off restaurant. Only there for a night or two," Rae said.

"I know what it is. I mean, why?" Barry asked.

"Because she's getting some popularly now because of Next level Chef and wants to capitalize on it," Kara answered, getting where Rae was going. While the show still hadn't premiered, the advertisement were heavily focusing on Barry Allen sister/daughter being in it. "What are your plans?"

Rae opened a folder she had with her and took out a piece of paper. "Lena and Lex are buying this building for their center. There's a space that use to be a restaurant they will let me use for the pop up whenever I want," Rae said.

"Why?" Barry asked.

"The upper floors are perfect for her center and they have no use for the restaurant area," Rae explained, and Kara and Barry chose not to comment on that. "I just need you two to fund the food and get a liquor license."

"What about staff? You can't cook on your own and you need wait staff," Barry said.

"My alternates will be in the kitchen with me and we have already made menus," Rae said, handing out the papers from her folder. "And the Clark Clone Club have agreed to be the wait staff."

"Clark Clone Club?" Kara asked.

"Karry Universe Connor, New Justice's Chris, Prime's Colin and while technically not clones, Mutant's Kal and Karry's Jonny who was a Stranded but is now also from Karry Universe," Rae said. "Please, I can't do this without you."

"Yes," Barry said after sharing a look with Kara. "You can do it. When are you planning all this?"

"Well the show is premiering next week and it will be a good episode for me so soon," Rae explained.

"Okay. Just get us all we need to do to make this possible for you," With that, Rae jumped up and hugged the two giving them both a kiss on the cheek before running up the stairs - probably to call Connor and her alternates that it was on.

"I wasn't expecting that," Kara said.

"Honestly, I'm glad it was just this. I was starting to think it was worst," Barry said, smiling as he looked at the menu. "Looks like a good menu too. I wonder if she needs taste tester to perfect everything?"

"I am sure she will," Kara said, kissing Barry's cheek and indicating for him to follow her upstairs.
