Chapter 10: Guests

At a little alley way shop with a large front yard, a blond haired man sat at his porch watching the rain fall. It had been a rough couple of days as of late. First a soul reaper capturing a human with apparent hollow-like energy, then all hell reigning loose on the Seireitei when four hollows invaded. From what the blond man gathered, those four held their own against not only seated officers, but also captains. The real kicker was that only three were fighting while the forth just stood there, watching everything. Then, the most horrific part of it all was that the one that wasn't fighting seemed to take out a large portion of the Seireitei with just a swing of his arm. Whoever those four were, they risked everything all for some human with hollow properties to himself. Whatever the reason, be it saving a comrade from death or otherwise, the blond man knew that this was a problem to a certain brown haired captains plans. Knowing Aizen though, the bastard would most likely figure out some way to twist this into his favor.

As the blond man sat there on his front porch watching the rain fall, a buzzing sound resonated next to him. He didn't even flinch as he continued looking to the rain. "Did you three find whoever is the cause of all that destruction?"

Right behind him were three figures dressed in dark ponchos covered in rain water. Their hoods were upas they stood tall behind said man. One of the three figures stepped forward and sat next to the blond man, removing his hood to reveal another blond haired man. His hair, unlike the owner of the small shop, was short and straight, going to the base of his skull. He sighed as he rested his arms on his lap.

"No, we didn't." He started as he narrowed his eyes at the rain. "But you were right about this rain. If anyone with spiritual energy of any kind touch it, it drains them slowly."

The first man smirked that his theory was proven true. "Well then, its a good thing I made you all those ponchos. Be careful when you head out," he turned towards the man, "Shinji."

Shinji simply grinned towards the man as he stood up himself. "Don't tell me what to do, Kisuke."

With that, Shinji put his hood back on and as quickly as the three had arrived, they were gone in another buzzing sound. The now named Kisuke smirked as he turned back towards the rain. It was starting to lighten up now. Kisuke sighed as he placed a green and white striped bucket hat onto his head. He stood up and turned towards the entrance of his shop.

"Seems like things are about to get even more interesting around here."

The Hospital

Ichigo held the bow in his hands and stared at it with wide eyes. His brothers had just finished explaining to him what it was and just how Ichigo got it in the first place. To say the orange haired teen was shocked was an understatement. He had no idea just what was going on or just how in the hell this happened, but he trusted his older brothers and what they spoke of. It was a little terrifying to learn about the afterlife and just how sick and twisted those soul reapers were, not to mention the fact that they could just tell he was part hollow of some kind. Whatever that meant.

As Ichigo held onto the bow, he could feel energy coming from it. It felt odd to say the least for the young teen as he felt the bow pulse with what his brothers referred to as spirit energy. Was this really what they felt whenever they fought? Was it how they felt when they saved him from those people? Thinking back to the soul reapers brought up bad memories of his time there. Ichigo was visibly shaking at the thought of those 'people' wanting to torture him for something he had no ide of.

"Ichigo." G started as he held onto Ichigo's shaking hand, calming him down "They can't et to you anymore. We won't let them. I promise."

This seemed to give the intended reaction as Ichigo looked around the room to see all of his older brothers giving him reassuring glances. He began to calm down as he hadn't even noticed that he was breathing heavily. His breathing finally slowed down to a normal pace.

"So," Ichigo started after catching his breath, "what happens now?"

"Simple," Rei started, gaining everyone's attention. "It's not safe here in Karakura Town anymore. When you're up and about again, we need to leave and find a new home to live in."

Gonna end this chapter here. I know, it's short, but really had a hard time thinking about what to do here since I already introduced Shinji and the Visored. The next chapter will be longer and have a slight fight scene in it.

Stay awesome, and as always...

PEACE!
