Ezekiel Slater has reincarnated into the World of Remnant, he's not exactly happy to be their but he isn't exactly willing to roll over and die. Let alone get end up as a casualty in Team RWBY's crusade to seemingly make everything worse in their (mis)adventures. The only real solution is to become plot proof, and for that to happen he needs to be strong, unreasonably strong.

Dreams are an odd thing, rarely remembered at all, their function and importance has been debated through history.
