Chapter 20: Breaking Point.

East Forest Mountainside, Colorado, Crossover Town, October 10th, 2012.

The Hulk flew through the air until he landed in a clearing in the east forest, There promptly dropped Mabel, Brian and Stewie on the ground.

The three looked up at the gigantic brute, in utter surprise.

"My god." Stewie gasped. "You saved us!"

Hulk said nothing, he just glared red down at three, who started to feel slightly uneasy.

"Hey uh…" Brian spoke up. "J-Just… Just so you know, We actually appreciate what you did for us-"

The Hulk cut him off with a loud roar before pointing at Mabel. "Kristen Schaal!"

The three were caught completely off guard. "What…?" Asked Mabel.

"Kristen Schaal sucks!" The Hulk replied.

Mabel was not impressed. "What is…? What is that supposed to mean?"

"UH… Hulk just thinks…" Hulk tried to think of something negative to say. "Well it's not nice to make fun of actors Hulk likes!"

"Sorry." Mabel said. "But hey, we put on a good show didn't we?"

"You sicked him on the town while we snuck in to spy on an arms deal." Stewie pointed out.

"Right, speaking of which." Mabel pulled out the camera to look at the image they had taken, and it was at that moment… her face fell.

The Picture was blurred and didn't show what they saw in the room, Instead, it was just a shot of one of the wall corners.

"What the hell is this?" Mabel asked.

Stewie blanched. "What? B-But I could have sworn I…" It was then that he realized what went wrong. "Oh Bloody hell, Had the Damn lense cap on!"

"Who uses a Camera like that anymore anyway?" Brian asked.

"Hey, It's called being authentic with the time Brian." Stewie defended. "You think cameras just show up on phones in this day and age?"

Mabel said nothing, she just lowered her head down in despair and walked past the two bickering anthros, who stopped as soon as she walked past, seemingly despondent, then she kicked at the ground and screamed to the Heavens, before falling to her knees and wept.

Stewie cautiously approached her in her docile state. "Mabel… I-I'm sorry…" He said meekly. "I didn't mean to…"

"What? That we blew it?" Asked Mabel with tears in her eye's. "Blew our one shot to take down that bitch! That now we can't cleer Kyle?! That now…?!" Mabel's train of thought was cut off as she broke down even more.

Hulk just stared, an almost sympathetic look crossing his face, he slowly made his way over to the crying girl and knelt down, almost hesitant to put a massive hand on her shoulder.

"I just… I can't do this any more…" Mabel sobbed. "...I… I just want everything back, I wish I never came to this stupid FUCKING town… I want Stan, I want Ford I want… Dipper…"

Brian and Stewie looked at each other sadly, before approaching Mabel, the girl than suddenly pulled them into a tight embrace, letting it all out as they held her close, The Hulk standing vigil over this display.

Meanwhile,

Back in town, everyone was in a frenzy!

"That thing tried to kill us!" Exclaimed Rabbit.

"This is how those Military idiots plan to protect us?!" Asked Nicole.

"I want a hat!" Cried Mr Toad.

Mayor McDaniels stood on a platform and addressed the crowd. "People! People! Calm down! Standing around yelling about what just happened isn't going to help anything."

"But we don't know what else to do, Mayor?" Said Jimbo.

As the raging continued, Tigger spoke up. "Wait a Minute! I think this is it!"

"What's it?" Asked Ratty.

"This is our chance, We know the Hulks here, now's our chance to chase him off and the Hulkbuster will go away!" Explained Tigger.

"Yes… You're right!" Said Rabbit delightly.

"Come on everyone!" Said Richard. "Let's get that Hulk!"

A Cheer rang out as the townsfolk charged to the great forest, the only one's remaining behind were the Testaburgers, Nick and Megan.

"You think… Mabel's out there?" Valorie asked Harrold.

"If anything happens to her out there." Harrold said. "I'll never forgive myself."

Unknown to any of them, Ross and Courtney had watched the whole thing from the monitors.

"Just as I've promised you, General." Courtney said.

"Yes, Now we've got him." Ross replied with ill disguised glee.
