Madara climbed into bed beside a passed-out Sakura, wondering if he should wake her or not. She wanted to continue where they left off earlier, but that was before she got completely trashed. He'd tossed his shirt and pants into the hamper by the closet. Turning onto his side, he admired her unassuming, sleeping face.
'Blonde really does suit her, but not as much as the pink,' he mused, a bittersweet smile tugging at his lips.
So much had happened in such a short amount of time. They met, danced around one another for a couple of months, then finally confessed their feelings. After that, the poor woman was kidnapped by his crazed boss, who they had no choice but to kill. Now, they're on the run because the police in Konoha are looking for her as a connection to the massacre that occurred that night.
The Uchiha man thought about Tobi's response to Sakura, having mixed feelings. Obviously, he liked her once she relaxed a little, but that didn't reassure him in the slightest.
'Even if I trust him to keep us hidden until things calm down, I don't know if I can put her life in his hands, too.'
No, Madara decided, while gently brushing the woman's hair behind her ear so he could better see her face, that he wouldn't let a situation arise where they would be alone for an extended period. He was willing to gamble with his own safety but not hers.
Suddenly, bright green eyes were open and locked onto his. It was instantaneously evident that she was still very drunk by the hazy expression she dawned.
A tipsy giggle passed her lips as the woman rolled over to straddle his hips, speaking in a whispered tone despite her voice being barely quieter than usual, "Hey, Baby." She was mocking how he often called her by that pet name, which was amusing.
Madara smirked, helping her shirt off over her head because she was already pressing sensually against the steadily hardening bulge beneath his boxers, "How are you feeling? Nauseous at all?"
Sakura shook her head, beaming drunkenly. She disregarded his questions, instead asking bluntly, "You'll let me do what I want, right? Can I go ahead?"
He snickered, gently shushing with a finger to her lips because Tobi was too inebriated to make it to his own room, instead falling asleep on the sofa just outside the room, which had no door, just an arching doorway, "He's still around, so you have to be quiet."
Taking him entirely off guard, Sakura took his finger into her mouth and swirled her tongue around it suggestively while lifting herself so she could reach down and pull his sex from his boxers. The organ hardened the rest of the way in an instant.
'I forgot how bold she is when drunk.'
As if trying to prove his appreciative thoughts true, the woman maneuvered the rest of her clothing off and slid down onto his cock, leaning forward once the task was complete to wrap her hand around his wrist so he wouldn't pull his hand away. Then she was moving, expertly riding him with none of the bashful, charming hesitance she often exhibited.
Madara could only watch the scene unfold. It was so sexy, and it felt too good. He was afraid that the incredible experience would somehow be ruined if he said or did anything.
Sakura's brow was furrowed with focus, eyes somewhat trained on his face but also a little zoned out. The expression was just as attractive as the confident and impressive way she moved.
A minute passed before the woman suddenly straightened her spine to change position. Releasing his hand, she grinned mischievously, "Don't move, 'kay?"
He nodded silently, intrigued by her resolution to be in control. Inwardly, though, his thoughts were hectic, 'With a face and body like that, she can do whatever the hell she wants to me.'
Dark eyes watched heatedly as Sakura turned around before coming back down on top of him so he had a gorgeous view of her backside, slender waist, and those tempting, feminine muscles that flexed ever so slightly under her skin as she began moving.
Immediately, Madara was overwhelmed. So much so that he was almost embarrassed, 'Jesus Christ. Thank God she can't see my face right now.'
The attractive woman took a few moments to adjust to the new position before figuring it out by leaning forward to put her hands on the bed between his legs. He swallowed anxiously, forcing himself to look at the ceiling in an act of self-preservation, 'If she keeps going like this, I'm not going to last.'
Madara's concentration was broken when a soft moan met the air. Looking at his partner again, he realized she'd straightened her spine. If he could see her face, he was sure he'd see that irresistible expression she makes when she's so close to climaxing that she can't focus on anything else. Imagining it encouraged him, and he acted. He grabbed her arms and pulled until her back was against his chest. She was lying on top of him.
"Mmm, Madara. I wondered how long you'd let me play around with you."
Her head rested against his shoulder, and he reached down to hold her hips as he thrusted up into her, holding her still so she couldn't move away.
'She smells so good, even now.'
Sakura pressed her palms to the bed between his arms and his torso, lifting her upper body to recline rather than lying completely down. Madara smirked, breathing more heavily like his partner was when he felt her walls tighten, flexing around his cock in a panic as she neared the finish line.
"Keep quiet," he whispered, knowing she had trouble controlling that sort of thing when inebriated.
Sakura whined, hissing, "I-I'm so close!"
It was about to happen, he could tell, so he wrapped an arm around her middle and pulled her against him like before, using his other hand to cover her nose and mouth just in time to muffle the overwhelmingly seductive moan that escaped. A groan left his lips as the woman squeezed around him for dear life, her hips bucking ever so slightly while her legs shook. He couldn't hold out any longer and joined her, gritting his teeth to avoid making other sounds.
Afterward, his hand vibrated as Sakura tried to say something. Moving it away, he waited for her to repeat, "If you keep treating me so well, I'm gonna end up completely spoiled."
"I'll keep that in mind. Let's go to sleep."
When Sakura awoke, memories of her drunken attack on Madara flashed through her mind. Her skin was warm under the heavy blanket, so she groggily rolled onto her stomach, crossing her arms under the pillow and burying her face in it, the cover lowering to her hips. Madara's body heat was against her right side, her leg half-tangled with his closest one so she could tell he was lying on his back.
'God, I'm so embarrassed. I jumped his bones the moment I woke up last night. I hope I didn't do something wrong. That'd just make it worse.'
Sakura's head hurt a little, but it wasn't the worst hangover she'd ever experienced, so she silently suffered.
"Breakfast is read- Jesus Christ! You two don't waste any time, do you?" The Haruno woman's body tensed in surprise at Tobi's loud arrival.
A deep sigh came from her right, obviously Madara waking up. "Shut the hell up…. It's too early…."
Not knowing how to handle such an uncomfortable situation, she kept her face buried in the pillow and pretended to still be sleeping.
A moment passed before she felt the blanket be lifted to her shoulder blades. When her boyfriend spoke this time, he was more awake, "Don't pretend you weren't hoping to sneak a peek. Get out, already."
Tobi snickered, "Guilty! Get dressed and come eat if you don't want a cold breakfast."
The woman waited to hear the other man leave before groaning softly, "Did he see anything?"
Madara turned to pull her into his arms, mumbling sleepily into her hair, "No. Don't worry about it. Just stay like this for another minute."
Her eyes crept open to see his scarred skin, her chest feeling warmer than all the body heat the Uchiha man was giving off. 'I know firsthand how terrifying he can be, but sometimes he can be so cute.'
Ten minutes later, the couple was dressed and went out to sit at the dining table with a smug-looking Tobi. He grinned knowingly as the woman blushed and pretended not to notice his gaze.
Sakura nibbled half-heartedly on some toast, feeling a little queasy and not wanting to eat, but she also didn't want to be rude and ignore the meal he'd so kindly prepared for them.
"Sorry about earlier, Sakura. Honestly, I was just too curious after hearing you guys go at it all night."
The woman choked, covered her mouth, and turned away as she coughed. Her face was red like a tomato, 'He heard us?! I could die of humiliation!'
Tobi chuckled amusedly, tilting his head as he waggled his eyebrows at an irritated Madara. He continued to speak to Sakura, though, "Alright, I'm done teasing you. Sorry, I just couldn't help it. I'll be good now."
Wordlessly, the woman scooted her plate toward her boyfriend and settled on simply drinking the mug of coffee.
The more soft and relaxed aura Madarar had when they were alone was gone because Tobi was around, but the sharpness of his eyes and jawline were gorgeous in their own right. Sakura didn't mind since he looked so handsome. It also made her a little giddy that he only showed that vulnerability to her and no one else.
After breakfast, Tobi sobered up and immediately began talking business, "Right, so, one of my contacts called me this morning with some bad news," he spared her a glance before focusing on Madara again, "The police were given Sakura's information from someone claiming to have been present that night. Are you sure you didn't miss anyone? Even the most insignificant employee there could be the leak."
'What! Everyone was dead by the time we escaped!'
"I'm sure no one was left alive. If your source is accurate, then the leak has to be someone who left before-"
Sakura's blood ran cold, "I think I know who it is." She hadn't realized it until now because she'd been going through her memories trying to picture each person she'd encountered and subsequently trying to remember if she saw their body in the piles as they fled.
Both men looked at her expectantly.
'I'm such a fool. How could I not remember her after everything she's done?!'
The woman closed her eyes, covering them with a hand and leaning her elbow onto the table with a groan, "Karin. I didn't see her once after I was placed in the waiting room." The redheaded woman had disappeared after assisting Konan with preparations. That was the last time Sakura saw her. She knew she didn't see any bodies with that hair color.
"Karin…. Do you mean Karin Uzumaki?" Tobi asked.
"Red hair, glasses, a slut. Sound familiar?" Madara's voice was tense with anger. He seemed just as angry with himself as Sakura was with herself.
The Haruno woman nodded, running her hand down her face to rest her chin on it, eyes directed at the table, "I think Danzo made her help Konan force me to get dressed because I kept fighting."
Tobi sighed, "I've heard her name in passing, but I don't know much about her."
Madara explained, "Leaving when thing's are about to get dangerous is absolutely something she'd do."
There was a long, almost awkward pause before the other man suddenly spoke more energetically, "Well, the good thing is, we have a name and know what she looks like!" Sakura lifted her gaze to his face, only to see him still holding her boyfriend's line of sight, "How would you like to proceed? Should we hunt her down and try to get info or just kill her?"
The Haruno woman winced, looking toward the door that led upstairs, 'Is it normal for them to discuss things so bluntly like this? It feels reckless.'
"If she is the one talking to the police, wouldn't Sasuke have said something?" Madara asked, tearing his gaze away to turn it onto his girlfriend.
She frowned, "His brother and dad may have kept the information from him on purpose, so he couldn't do just that." She recalled the many times she'd had dinner with Sasuke's family. Fugaku, the father and head of the household, was a quiet and strict man but not unkind.
On the other hand, Itachi was sweet as pie, quite the charmer. Every time they'd run into one another over the years, he shamelessly flirted with her as though she wasn't dating his little brother. The woman could never tell if he was being serious or just teasing.
"Really? I'd think they'd use Sasuke to bait you instead of blindly organizing a manhunt if that's the case."
Tobi nodded, "Yeah, that's what I was thinking, too."
"There's always a possibility the entire family was separated from the case because they know you personally."
Sakura's already shaky hopes dipped further, "If so, then our plan to have Sasuke get us information is useless."
'Plan B will be a million times more dangerous. One or all of us personally going out and trying to get intel and possibly even infiltrating the local police force…. Just imagining it makes me anxious.'
"Has he called or texted yet?"
"No. Should I try reaching out instead?"
Tobi hummed, deep in thought, before nodding, "Be as vague as possible. Don't use names or locations in case his phone is being monitored."
So, Sakura pulled the disposable device from her pocket and hit call on Sasuke's contact information. It rang for so long that she expected it to go to voicemail, but he picked up at the last second, "Are you safe?"
The two men at the table with her listened silently, so she tried to perform her task well, "I am. What do you know?"
A long pause occurred, and then the Uchiha man's voice lowered so it was barely audible, "I have a theory, but I haven't found any proof yet. That's why I haven't called. If I'm right…. If I'm right, you can't trust anyone except the man with the long hair, do you understand?"
'He's being so cautious. It makes me worry even more.'
"...I understand, but what is your theory? Is there anything we can do from our end to help?"
Another long pause occurred, "Do you remember the story we did a book report on in our third year of high school?"
'...huh?'
"Um, I-I'm not sure. Why?"
"The first character to die. That name keeps popping up, but I-!" Suddenly, the man whispered, "I have to go. Don't trust anyone but him; I mean it!" Then, he hung up.
Both men at the table stared at her expectantly as she pulled the phone away from her ear to look at her ex-boyfriend's name on the screen.
Tobi spoke first, "Well, what did he say?"
Green eyes shot up to lock onto his dark eyes. 'Sasuke said to trust no one but Madara. Was my intuition right to feel uneasy about this man?' She glanced at her boyfriend, who waited more patiently with an emotionless expression, then shook her head and decided to trust her gut.
"All he said is that he has a theory, but can't prove it yet, so we have to wait for his call when he does find something."
Tobi nodded slowly, his face as unreadable as Madara's for once, "...Are you sure that's all he said?"
'It's too risky. Our lives are on the line here.'
Sakura nodded, "That's it."
