Marinette tried to control her giggles as she hid behind a pole as she waited for Adrien to arrive. She was going to prank him, after he served her decaf coffee on their date. How dare he, and now, it was payback time.
"Marinette!" Nikki squeaked. "Buttercup at twelve 'o'clock!" Aw, he looked happy as he walked into school, looking around for her. Wait, was he skipping?! No, that was to cute!
"Ha, ha, I am the Green Man and I demand twigs and berries!" Marinette leaped out of her hiding place, wearing a green furry mustache and she and Tikki had made last night after patrol.
Adrien, who already knew it was Marinette, played along. "Oh, no! Someone call Ladybug and Cat Noir!" "They'll never make it here, as they had decaf coffee...ooh, this thing itches!" Marinette yanked the thing off her face.
Adrien burst into laughter. "Your not a Green Man, your my beautiful Marinette!" "I would be beautiful if you hadn't pranked me yesterday!" she booped his nose. Adrien took on the "good boy" look, and shuffled his feet. "Would a kiss help? Come a little closer…..Sneak attack!"
Adrien grabbed her and begin tickling, and the two friends chased each other around laughing. Adrien did get a smooch. "So, does that mean I'm forgiven?"
"Yes, but be careful with the salt and sugar shakers at dinner tonight," she swung his hand in hers as they headed off to class. Hm, he'd have to charm-meow his way out of that, but for now, he was having fun!
