Adrien typed away on his computer, hoping to get his history assignment done soon, so he could hang out with Marinette. He noticed his phone buzzing away on the desk, and smiled when the caller ID read "Nino."

"Hey, man, what's up?" Adrien said after clicking the "Accept" button. "Dude," Nino's voice cracked. "Could you cover me at Alya's party? I'm so sick," he hacked. "Cover for you?" Adrien repeated, frowning at the phone. "How?" "Be the DJ. Don't worry, everything is all set up, and you were coming anyway, right? Oh, and Marinette's coming, of course." "I'll be there," Adrien confirmed.

He said goodbye and logged off his computer. "Come on, Plagg, history can wait! Claws Out!"

Oh, what have I gotten myself into? Adrien gulped as he stared at the snaking cords and multicolored buttons. "Having some trouble?" a sweet voice asked. "Oh, Marinette, your here!" Adrien fought to keep his voice from cracking, or squeaking. "Yeah, I said I'd fill in, but I'm hopeless…"

"Your not hopeless," Marinette told him. "Here's what you do."

Ten minutes later, Adrien felt much better. "I'm going to get a snack plate now, if you don't need me," Marinette started to step off the stage. "I'll always need you," the words came out before Adrien could call them back. Marinette's head jerked up. "Sorry?" "Will you save me a dance?" Nice save, Agreste. Marinette nodded.

Adrien had fun mixing and wearing the coolest shades ever. Deciding to take a break, he hit the auto play, and jumped down into the crowd, hoping to find Marinette.

"I believe you owe me a dance?" he asked, his eyes sparkling. "Sorry, my dance card is full," she told him, and Adrien's face fell. "Kidding!" she snickered.

Dancing with Marinette was heaven, and after he enjoyed a snack and beverage. Okay, so maybe DJ'ing wasn't as cool as being Cat Noir, but for tonight it was the cat's meow.
