Holly went to go look in on Ethan and Robert after her and Jayne said their goodnights. She stood at the door, watching the two men she loved more than anything get Seana to smile and giggle. There was a time when Robert and her really wanted this. They had it a little when Robin came to visit, but they should have had more.
"How's about you cuddled with your daddy while I tell you a story?" Robert asked Seana, knowing they needed to get her to go to sleep.
Seana shook her head and reached for Robert. "Grandpa!"
Ethan's face lit up. He really loved the bond the two of them had. "She has chosen."
Robert settled in with Seana and saw Holly standing at the door. "Well, look at that. Grandma Holly wants to join." Robert put out his hand to her.
Holly came over and sat down next to them. "I couldn't resist seeing my two favorite guys with our girl."
Seana gave Holly a hug and a kiss.
Ethan started to tell a story, making noises and faces, which cause Seana to giggle. She settled down in her grandparents' arms and went to sleep.
The three of them got her settled in and went outside the room. "Thank you both for your help."
"You don't ever have to thank us for that." Robert beamed, the both loved taking care of their girl.
"I'm going to go spend some time with Annie. Goodnight, you two." Ethan gave both of his parents a hug.
Robert and Holly said their goodnights and went to pick up a little. "You know I really do love all this family."
"So do I." Robert grinned as he looked at her. "I also love ending the day with my beautiful wife."
Holly smiled over at him. "You know I love it too, and I do plan on us getting to work together starting tomorrow."
"Tomorrow? Why not tonight?" Robert grinned at her.
Holly gave him a look. "I know this game, Robert Scorpio."
Robert took her hand. "It's a fun one, isn't it. I do have a rather important mission for you."
Holly couldn't stop grinning. "I know, I know, all good team work starts in the bedroom."
"That's my girl." Robert grinned. "Want to go upstairs and relive some of those memories?"
Holly grinned as she started to lead the way. The two of them headed upstairs, both looking forward to reliving old memories and making new ones.
