Chapter 20: More Robeasts?(Allura's POV)

"I downloaded some data from the ship and it looks like there are more Robeast's out there."

"What?!" Luca exclaims while Lotor huffs, "This is what I was afraid of. That witch using the other mechs for evil."

Luca protests, "But Honerva is good, she wouldn't use the mechs for evil, she was only going to use them to find you!"

"But I don't want to talk to her. So maybe she's using the mechs for something more sinister since she didn't get what she wanted."

"No, she would be patient."

"But no one can be patient forever, not even her." Lotor states.

"Then if she is, we have to stop her." Allura comments.

"There are thousands waiting to be liberated from Galra rule though…"

"Shiro is right, my people come first despite whatever the witch is doing. Establishing peace is our first priority and finding a home for most of my people."

"But we can't let Haggar just do whatever she wants willy nilly!" Allura protests. That witch must be stopped if she is planning something awful. We can't just let her get away with it.

"We might not have to change course." Shiro comments.

"What do you mean by that?" Lotor asks.

"Voltron could look for more of Honerva's Robeasts and figure out what she's up to, while the Atlas along with you Lotor continue to liberate people from your peoples rule and establish peace between them. That way we don't have to worry about whatever the witch is doing behind the scenes, whilst also not putting our original mission in jeopardy."

"That's a good plan, Shiro. Then it's settled. Me and the Atlas crew will continue to establish peace whilst you and your team discover what it is that witch is up to."

"You heard Lotor team, let's prepare for our new mission."

Allura watches the Paladins go, noticing Keith go a little bit slower than the rest of the Paladins, but she shakes it off.

"They'll be okay," Kuro comments, putting his hand on her shoulder.

"I hope so. It's just I really wanted to think Ha…I mean Honerva had changed, that all the threats we had to face were the Galra factions…."

"Life isn't always as straightforward as that." She sighs, "I know, it's just all this fighting with the Galra is wearing on me and I just want it to be over."

"I'm sure it will be over before you know it and you'll wish life was a little more fun like this period in our lives instead of it being mundane."

"I guess."

Kuro kisses her on the cheek, "Don't worry everything will be fine."

Shiro's POV

"Shiro!" Adam calls, making Shiro turn around and smile. They embrace in a hug and they both squeeze each other tight. Then Adam pulls away and gives him a peck on the lips.

"Promise me you'll come back." Adam pleads after the kiss.

"Of course I will."

"But these Robeasts are strong and…."

"Voltron is even stronger."

"I hope you're right,"

He lifts up Adam's chin with his hand making Adam face him. "I am and I will come back."

They kiss again this time it's longer. It's sweet and passionate. He doesn't want the moment to end, but he breaks the kiss because he has to go unfortunately. "See you later," He says to Adam, vowing that he will see him again.

Adam smiles slightly, tears in his eyes, "See you, later,"
