Summary: When one gets reborn, you will know that a tragic event has happened.
Well, in Crystal's case, her such divine friends (note the sarcasm) have decided that her boredom must cease to exist, and pushed her into a dying child's body. "You need to live a little," they say. SI!Female!Tsuna.
AN: Katekyou Hitman Reborn does not belong to me but to Akira Amano.
Okay, so her friends didn't exactly push her into the child's body. It was more like they temporarily banished her into this world and were willing to negotiate with the ruler of the realm of the dead for her to live in this dying child's body.
The platinum-haired woman frowned at the situation in front of her. She stared down at the frail young child lying helplessly on the hospital bed, then stared at the other occupants in the room.
(Ignoring the obvious Italian blond man who somehow inherited burning orange eyes and was indiscreetly staring at her)
A late 20s Japanese brunette woman with sorrowful brown eyes, tears running down her face, clutched her child's hand. A vase of flowers, which the platinum woman mentally translated to "I am sorry, please forgive me" and "I am waiting for you to come home".
No longer could she ignore the burning orange-eyed stare, and asked, "What the hell happened to this kid?" I asked in Italian, which he seemed to sort of appreciate.
The blond man grimaced and responded in the archaic version. "A...relative of my brother had sealed her Flames away with the request of my descendant despite her being Active."
That wasn't what he actually said, but the blonde woman got the general gist of it.
"Flames?" This sounded like the sort of thing Alessandra could do and would understand. Fire, after all, was her Element.
The Italian looked up from his eyes, from the child to the woman that stood a few centimetres in front of him, his gaze searching for something and a moment later, nodded in acceptance.
The stranger seemed to struggle to explain whatever these 'Flames' are, "it's called the Dying Will Flames of the Sky. They are your life forces, the will of your soul and there are seven of them. Lightning, Mist, Cloud, Rain, Storm, Sun and Sky. Each of these Flames has abilities of their own and certain traits. Lightning has the ability of 'Hardening' like a...what did we call those destructive metal mobile called?" He muttered at the end, "what did Dani call them?"
Destructive metal mobile?
The transparent woman imagined a lightbulb as it just lit up above him as he shouted the word, 'tank.'
"Yes, a tank."
"Then they must be pretty much on the defensive or...offensive side."
The man winced, "or as my family would quote 'to draw damage to himself and away from the rest of the Famiglia, serving as a lightning rod.'
The blonde woman gaped, mouthing 'wtf', "isn't that just basically suicide?"
He didn't answer but his expression was pretty much damning.
She should really get his name, she shouldn't keep mentally calling him 'he' or 'stranger', even though technically speaking he is one.
"Next, Mist. Mist Flames has the abilities of construction; creating out of nothing. Which is essentially illusions and among other stuff that I actually don't know, and it wasn't like Demon was actually going to tell us how he uses his Mist Flames in the first place."
"Is there a quote for a Mist?" At his questioning look, "you gave a quote for the Lightning." She pointed out.
"Right, yes, there is. 'Creating from nothing into something, turning something into nothing; bewildering the enemy, so making the famiglia untouchable.' Mist Flames are also indigo coloured."
"And, does Lightning have a colour or...?"
"Green."
The platinum haired woman nodded, before the man before her carried on.
"Cloud; Propagation. Colour; purple. It carries the ability of multiplying and increasing anything, like increasing your speed or attacks to a better advantage point. The quote of the Cloud would be: 'a drifting Cloud, whom cannot be bound. Protecting the famiglia from an independent standpoint."
She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, "isn't that contradicting the quote itself?"
At his confused expression, she explained herself, "you said a Cloud is someone who cannot be bound and yet is bound to protect the famiglia itself?"
"I did not make these quotes." He explained himself quickly as if that answered anything, which frankly, it didn't but at the same time it did.
The stranger coughed, "after Cloud are Rain Flames. The colour is blue and it carries the ability of Tranquility. Its abilities can weaken anything it touches, like slow down opponents or in a meeting, force everyone to calm down, alluring them in a sense of calm and peace. Even make them fall asleep."
A shark-like grin appeared on her face, "sounds useful," she was certain if she had Rain Flames, she would most definitely use it on Luck or Hellfire, heck, Ether could use it on either of those two chaotic selves.
An amused smile appeared on his youthful face, "to quote of the role of the Rain; 'to square away conflict and wash away the blood spilled.' Next is Storm, which is red and its ability is to Disintegrate. I think this one is obvious. And the quote for the Storm is: 'continuously at the heart of the attack, the furious Storm that never rests. After that is Sun, which is yellow and its ability is Activation. Sun Flame users are generally healers and such but, there are also a few oddballs out there and for the quote of a Sun: destroying the misfortune that attacks the Famiglia with their own body, they become the Sun that brightly shines upon an area."
"Wow."
The stranger grinned, "I know."
"And at last: the Sky. Sky Flames abilities are Harmony and Assimilation, the colour is Orange. Sky Flames are like an actual fire so we can burn things and increase the heat or as the name sort of suggests, fly into the sky without gravity pulling us down. We are also essentially a spiritually glue for the other six elements and it's quote for it is: Sun, Lightning, Storm, Rain, Mist, Cloud – He envelops them all, he accepts them all. That is the Sky's purpose."
"Huh...and I'm guessing by your eye colour that you're a Sky?"
The man grinned. "Correct and I just realised we haven't introduced ourselves. Giotto Vongola," Giotto casted his eyes down to the brunette child, "this little one's ancestor."
Pale eyebrows rose in surprise before smiling and introducing herself as she extends her hand to Giotto who accepted, "Crystal King. I guess I could say that my friends temporarily banished me here."
Giotto laughed, amusement shining in his orange eyes.
"I've got to ask, did your Sky Flames taint your eyes orange?"
Giotto threw her an amused side look, "no, I'm currently in Dying Will mode."
Pale eyebrows furrowed, "even in the afterlife, you can still cast your Flames?" He gave no answer. Eyes still focused on the brunette child. After a moment of silence, "you said..." Crystal licked her dry lips, Giotto briefly turned to her before looking back at his descendant, "you said a relative of your brother sealed your descendant Flames whilst still being Active."
Giotto sighed. "Sealing an Active Sky is universally banned. It has consequences; emotionally, mentally and physically. Harmony is one of the key aspects of your will, of your soul, having that sealed or locked away and throwing away the key is bad. Harmony is essentially Balance, when your balance is thrown away, everything in you gets thrown away. Balance is either positive or neutral. Off-balance is negative.
And when you don't have enough will or the seal is too strong..." Giotto trailed off, pain flashing upon his eyes as well as fury and anguish, "you die." He whispered. He gestured to a female kid that looked eerily like him, "this is an example of an off-balance."
Crystal looked closer at the monitors and with a horrifying realisation, "your descendant is dying." Crystal whispered.
Giotto mournfully nodded before fury flashed in his eyes. "The culprits are Timoteo Vongola and Iemitsu Sawada. Vongola's current boss and CEDEF and External Advisor who is Honoka's cousin and father respectively."
Crystal gave Giotto a 'wtf' look, "your own family did this?"
He gave her a bitter laugh. "They are not my family."
"Excellent, both of you are here. This is exactly what we need to make this deal final," a voice says from behind them.
Giotto and Crystal turned at the same time to see...
