The Son of Prince Chang Lee and Hua Mulan helps his friend Wang Chi rescue Wang's green-eyed fiancée from bandits in China. They go into the mysterious underworld beneath China, where they face an evil sorcerer named Lo Pan, who requires a woman with green eyes to marry him in order to be released from a curse. It's a sequel to Marriage of Mulan.

3. Chapter 3 - Yeren

Chapter 3: Yeren:

As we were walking through the halls of Lo Pan's lair, I had a strange feeling. "Do you get the feeling we are not alone," I asked.

Then this ape like beast came. It had a hideous face!

"It is a yeren," says Wang Chi, "it serves Lo Pan!"

The Yeren came at us, and we had to fight it. This thing was stronger than any normal man. It then threw us to the wall. The Yeren came at us and we had to run!

"That creature would have been nice to learn about before," I said.

"I assumed it would be sleeping," says Wang Chi.

"And what reason would you have to assume that," I asked.

"That... is a fair point," says Wang Chi.

We then heard a roar. "We better keep moving," I said.

. . .

We entered a room. "There's no one here," says Wang Chi.

Then the Yeren came. "Except for him," I said.

We fought the Yeren, but this time, it knocked us out...

The Yeren then threw us out of the building. "Now what," asks Wang Chi.
