Chapter 1: The Origin of Hawkman:
Carter's POV:
My name is Carter Hall. I am a wealthy collector of weapons and a research scientist. "Another prize for my collection from Jim Rock in Egypt," I said. It was a glass knife one would use for sacrifices. It then started to glow and started to make me dizzy. I then fell asleep.
Dream:
My name is Prince Khufu. It all started many years ago. When I was born. A man from another world became stranded in our world. His blood was infused with me as he died. His name was Hro Talak. At the same time, Paran Dul's blood was infused with Chay-Ara when she was born. We became something more than human.

Years later, I am in a chariot race with my little brother, Apries, and my best friend, Radames. As usual, I won. "Admit it," I said, "you two have been letting me win!"
"No, you really are that good," says Radames.
"I fear I may never be good at anything," says Apries.
"Don't be so hard on yourself, Brother," I said.
"Well done, your Highness," says Hath-Set, "but your parents are expecting you and your brother!"

We then met with our parents, Pharaoh Psamtik II and Queen Takhuit. "Have you been racing again," asks Father.
"Well... yes," I said, "but do not blame Apries, it was all my idea!"
"I thought as much, Khufu, you are the heir, and you must act like it," says Father, "now, we are expecting company. Nitetis, help them get ready."
"Yes, my Lord," says Nitetis.

As we were walking, I saw the priests praying to the Gods. I took a look at Chay-Ara and smiled. She then smiled back at me.
"Time to go," says Nitetis.

I was in my room. Then Chay-Ara entered. "I hope I am not disturbing you," says Chay-Ara.
"Not at all," I said. We then got closer. You see, the Priestess Chay-Ara and I are secret lovers.

The Story of Prince Khufu and Priestess Chay-Ara take place in the Originalverse. Prince Apries is the Future Father of Pharaoh Amasis. Prince Apries is the Future Grandfather of Princess Tefna. In the next chapter, the Kingdom gets a visit from the Nubians.
