They go into the mysterious underworld beneath China, where they face an evil sorcerer named Lo Pan, who requires a woman with green eyes to marry him in order to be released from a curse. It's a sequel to Marriage of Mulan.

7. Chapter 7 - No Escape

Chapter 7: No Escape:

Lanying's POV:

I was trapped in this room. I then opened the door and the Yeren was guarding, so I had to close it. I needed to find another way out. I then found a window.

I climbed out the window and I had to climb a very tall wall. As I was climbing, I realized the Guardian was looking at me, meaning Lo Pan sees what I'm doing. I was then levitated back through the window.

The Yeren was asleep, so I snuck past it.

. . .

I was sneaking through the halls, trying to avoid being noticed. The Storms were patrolling the halls. I had to move quick.

I was looking for an exit, but then the Guardian came. I had to run, and the Guardian chased after me. Then I ran into Lo Pan. "Did you really think you can escape," asks Lo Pan.

. . .

I was thrown back into that room. "What do you want with me," I asked.

"You both have green eyes," says Lo Pan, "it seems I would have to decide which one to marry!"

"I will never marry you," I said.

"A pity neither of you have much of a choice," says Lo Pan. He then left.
