Chapter 6: Hath-Set:

Dream:

Hath-Set was walking. "Khufu and Chay-Ara have become... I'm not sure what to say they are, but they are not humans, and everyone sees them as heroes? Chay-Ara, if only there was a way to help... you?" Hath-Set sees us and was horrified. You see, Hath-Set had his own feelings for Chay-Ara and refused to let anyone have her but himself!

. . .

Chay-Ara was alone in the halls.

"Chay-Ara," says Hath-Set.

"Oh, Hath-Set," says Chay-Ara, "I didn't see you, I guess these wings blocked you."

"Chay-Ara, I know about you and the Prince," says Hath-Set.

"Oh, I know it's inappropriate... but we're in love and-"

"Leave him," says Hath-Set.

"What," asks Chay-Ara.

"Chay-Ara, I have always loved you and he is just an irresponsible, spoiled prince," says Hath-Set, "you must be mine!"

Chay-Ara then knocked him out with one of her wings. "I'm sorry, but the answer is no," says Chay-Ara. She then walked away.

. . .

Chay-Ara told me what happened. "I will deal with him," I said.

"No, Khufu," says Chay-Ara, "it could be too risky!"

"How," I asked.

"If you attack a priest, people could get the wrong idea," says Chay-Ara, "and they may not believe your story! For now, we're just going to have to watch out for him."

"Alright," I said, "just remember, I would die for you!"

"And I-you," says Chay-Ara.

We then shared a kiss.

. . .

Hath-Set was watching, and he was not happy.
