Chapter 8: Zambezi:

Dream:

We flew to the Zambezi Village where Kuasa, the wielder of the Anansi Totem was fighting some vandals.

"We are here to help," I said.

We then fought the vandals alongside Kuasa. The vandals then all fled.

"Thank you, Prince Khufu, Priestess Chay-Ara," says Kuasa, "so, the rumors about your wings are true! Amazing!"

"Are what they say about your totem true," asks Chay-Ara.

"Indeed, it is," says Kuasa, she then demonstrates and uses her totem to imitate the abilities of a lion, a falcon, and even a shark!

"Impressive," I said.

"But without this totem, I am but a normal woman," says Kuasa, "you can fly on your own!"

"That is true," says Chay-Ara, "but that is all we can do. You have the powers of the animal kingdom! My friend always wanted to be like the animals."

"Sadly, this is for the family," says Kuasa.

. . .

Chay-Ara and I then flew through the sky. "Isn't it wonderful to fly," asks Chay-Ara.

"Around you, I could always fly," I said, "even before these wings!"

We then kissed again.

. . .

Hath-Set was watching, and he was not amused.
