Chapter 10: Hastor:
Kendra's POV:
I received a mysterious message, so I arrived at this building. Don't worry, I'm a superhero, I can handle myself.

"I'm so glad you could come, Miss Saunders."
"Why did you send that message, Mister..."
"Dr. Hastor! Dr. Anton Hastor!"
"Okay, so what is this about," I asked.
"Please, come with me," says Dr. Hastor.

"Tell me, do you believe in destiny," asks Dr. Hastor.
"At first, I didn't," I said, "but recently... I started to."
"I see," says Dr. Hastor, "well, I believe we shouldn't let destiny control our lives! Come."

He then showed me something. "These are all ancient Egyptian artifacts," I said, "are you a collector like my boyfriend?"
"Recently, I have obtained similar interests as him," says Dr. Hastor.
"How would you know," I asked. Truth is, I was suspicious of this man the moment I got that message. Ever seen Fatal Attraction? Well, I'm worried that I might be Dan, and this guy might be Alex!
"Why would you stay with him," asks Dr. Hastor, "after all, you don't even get top billing! You're practically his sidekick!"
"Wait... do you know..."
"That you're Hawkgirl," asks Dr. Hastor, "yes and I have waited centuries for us to be together!"
"You're Hath-Set," I said.
"Just like how the two of you reincarnated, so did I," says Dr. Hastor, "and I will make you mine even if I must take you by force!" He then grabs my arm, but my wings come out and knock him to the ground. I then flew out.
Dr. Hastor's POV:
I got up and saw her fly away. "Chay-Ara," I said, "if I can't have you, then no one can!"
