The sun rose over the pridelands, casting a beautiful layer of red, orange, and yellow in the sky, Many of the inhabitants began to steer in their sleep, slowly awakening, ready for their daily routines.
Simba stood over priderock, his mane waving with the wind, his eyes scanned over the land, checking for any signs of danger or threats, his eyes peaked up when he sensed no sign of danger, and his expression became relaxed, he made his way to the cave.
His Mate, Nala woke up as well, and she went ahead and nuzzled her husband. "Good morning, honey"
Simba smiled and nuzzled her back, the two middle aged lions exchanged a kiss before waking up their daughter, Kiara. It was time for her and her husband, Kovu. To hunt.
Kiara yawned. "Huuuh, ugh Mom! Dad! I was just having a good dream..."
Simba chuckled and nuzzled her. "Well waky waky! It's time for you to hunt.. Kovu is already up, so i'd be quick if i were you"
Kiara quickly got up, and rushed outside to help her Mate.
Later, Simba was getting a drink at the watering hole. He stared at the reflection, and Smiled, feeling proud of himself, knowing how far he's come.
once Simba had finished drinking the water from the pond, he walked back towards priderock, Where he began sunbathing, with the lionesses, who had just returned from their hunt.
Simba chuckled and smiled at the other lionesses, enjoying their company, before closing his eyes and relaxing.
"You call that a hunt?" Kovu laughed and teased Kiara.
Kiara rolled eyes and smiled, before giving Kovu a playful shove. "You just wait, soon i'll kick your butt!"
"yeah, if that's ever going to happen-" but before Kovu could finish, Kiara pounced on him and pinned him down. "Not so though now, are you?"
Kovu eyes widened, and his mouth dropped. "Hey! Get off me! You're embarrassing me!" Je protested, but Kiara held him down firmly. She looked into his eyes, with a mischievous smile.
"i'll let you go... under one circumstance..." she declared.
"say: 'Kiara is the best Princess in the world, and the prettiest girl ever to exist!'"
Kovu pouted. "Never!"
Kiara giggled softly at him. "Then i ain't moving anywhere, just say it, and i Might let you go!"
Kovu scoffed. "Fine, you're the best and most beautiful princess in the world. Blah blah blah..."
Kiara chuckled and got off him. "See, that wasn't so hard, was it?"
"Better than Pumbaa's last bug contest..." Kovu grimaced.
Kiara and Kovu, made their way back up priderock, they chuckled like cubs, and bumped into each other on purpose. It was their way of engaging in playful banter.
But they were interrupted, by the sounds of Simba and Nala, who appeared to be in an argument,
"No!" Simba yelled. "They are a threat to the pride, we must kill them!"
Nala stood firm. "Honey, we can't just attack them like that, what if they aren't intending to cause harm? We should observe them, and make peaceful contact!"
Kovu was about to speak, when Zazu flew up. "Come outside, we need to talk."
as the two middle aged lions kept arguing, the Majordomo, took The two young lions to a separate den, Zazu cleared his throat, and hesitated to speak, finally he managed confess what the fuss was about.
"...creatures known as 'Humies' have been sighted in the pridelands, and they are known to take what they want, they kill innocent animals, and they pollute the environment, Simba and Nala are arguing about whether to kill them, or try to interact peacefully, Since Nala thinks that not all Humies are evil, while Simba thinks that these humies are here to cause harm..."
both Kovu and Kiara's eyes widened at Zazu's confession, Kovu was the first to speak up. "Have they caused any harm?"
Zazu shook his head. "No, not yet.. but are are keeping an eye on them.."
"could we join in with the conversation?" Kiara asked.
Zazu nodded. "Be careful, Both can be quite intimidating when they are frustrated, especially Simba"
Kiara and Kovu went back to the main den were Simba and Nala were having their argument, Kovu and Kiara kept quiet for a few minutes, while the two middle aged lions continued their conversation, Simba saw the 'humies' as a threat, thinking that they were there to cause harm, while Nala was more open minded.
"ahum." Kovu exclaimed, before the two stopped talking and turned to Kovu and Kiara. "What's the fuss all about?"
Simba was the first to speak. "These humies might be a danger to the pridelands, we've heard stories about them, they are not our friends, we need to take action, Zazu has already mentioned that they have weapons"
Nala managed to intervene in the conversation. "But what if your wrong? What if they aren't here to cause harm? What if they are here for a different reason? Simba, honey.. I don't think attacking the humies seem right"
Kovu nodded. "I have to agree, I don't think it's a good idea."
Simba sighed. "And what if you're wrong?"
Kiara joined in with the conversation. "Then we gotta fight back, but we shouldn't attack them, because they might be friendly..."
Simba stood his ground, and clenched his fist. "No buts! We are going there right now, and we are disposing of the danger!"
"when?"
"RIGHT NOW!" Simba roared out the sentence, before storming outside, and rallying the lionesses together, preparing to confront these 'Humies'
Kovu was really shocked by Simba's sudden anger, Never in his life had he seen him so angry, which caused him to shiver, he was also worried about meeting these 'Humies' knowing that they were very powerful and advanced, so they would not be at an advantage..
together with, Timon, Pumbaa, Zazu, the lionesses, and Nala, Kiara and Kovu followed Simba to the plains of the Savannah, preparing for their confrontation.
