Thank You and Reward
First and foremost, I don't own anything of Fairy Tail. All rights and everything belong to the creator: Hiro Mashima. I wanted to try a competition story and love the humor the show always brings. Well, without further ado, I hope you all enjoy.
In the year X793, a couple months after the battle with Acnologia and the Alverez Empire, the city of Magnolia is filled with joy and laughter as the people living there are enjoying the peace the day brings. The birds chirping, the merchants selling, magic in the air, a giant box floating with royal knights marching towards the Fairy Tail guild hall, food being coo-.
Reality sets in as many people have either worried looks or eyes popping out of their faces as they seeing knights and members of the Magic Counsel marched onwards towards the guild in question. One thing has popped into the citizens minds as if they were thinking the same thing:
"WHAT DID THEY DO THIS TIME?!"
*Minutes before the Counsel reached the guild.
Inside this building resides the #1 guild in the Fiore: Fairy Tail. The members are scattered either enjoying the company, looking for work, enjoying the bar where they eat, drink, or make merry, the usual battle between a certain Fire and Ice wizards, the man in the suit singing crazy on sta-.
BAM!
WHAM!
"YOU WANT A PIECE OF ME, ICE PRINCESS?!
"BRING IT ON, YOU FIRE LIZARD! I CAN KICK YOU SORRY LITTLE BUTT ANY DAY OF THE WEEK!"
"NOT IF I BEAT YOUR ASS FIRST POPSICLE HEAD!"
"THAT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE FLAMEBRAIN!"
"ARRRGGGGGHHHHHH!"
Fire and Ice collide as Fairy Tails' 2 most rambunctious wizards battle for as always for the tiniest of things to ever set off a fight: Food.
"WHAT DID YOU DO WITH MY STEAK ICE FOR BRAINS?!"
"I DIDN'T TAKE YOUR STUPID FOOD, YOU PRYO! MAYBE YOU SHOULD LOOK INSIDE YOUR MOUTH INSTEAD OF ACCUSING PEOPLE!"
Fists fly as everyone shows a mixture of emotions while watching the 2 fight once again. Some laugh, some are taking bets to see who wins today, and others are just continuing their daily routine. Over at one table, a certain celestial wizard sighs that her partner is fighting again while another one dressed in blue stares at the Gray with hearts for eyes while just dancing. "Oh my darling Gray. You're so handsome. You got this!"
As the two are about to land another punch, they both got struck fast in the head by a famous scarlet haired wizard. "Natsu and Gray. Why must you fight when I'm TRYING TO ENJOY A SLICE OF CAKE?!" As a sword popped up in her hand, the two wizards then hugged each other and begged her not to kill them. "We're good Erza. We swear right po- I mean Gray." "Yeah, what Natsu said." And with that, they ran off while returned to her seat to enjoy her cake. Everyone was laughing while others were collecting their prizes and others were wallowing in their defeat.
Natsu and Gray sat back with their friends as they keep an intense stare at each other as they were ready to brawl again while a flying blue cat lands on top of Natsu. "Dang buddy, Erza got you real good huh?" "Yeah well, if she hadn't come, I would've won the fight!" Gray then slammed his hands on the table before getting ready to retort but felt a shiver as if 2 piercing daggers were about to pierce him one table away from him as he chose not to engage and sat back down with a grumble. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Looks like you're scare of Erza just as I was Ice Head. HAHAHAHAHAH-"Natsu was then slapped onto the table by his Celestial partner, Lucy. "Dang Lucy that hurt. Why did you slap my head like that?" "Because you're loud and Erza said to knock it off. Plus, I need you at full strength for our job. Have to pay that rent soon."
"I know Lucy but he was looking at me the wrong way and tried to steal my steak." "No fighting till we come back Natsu, except any bad guys along the way." Natsu mumbled a fine before Lucy patted his head while Happy sang with a squished face, "You liiike him!" Happy then got punched by a light blushed Lucy till he was through the roof like a home run. "Shut it Cat!"
Another cat in white fur, Carla, turned her head when she saw Happy punched. "I swear he never stops with that line." While her dragon slayer teammate, Wendy, did a small laugh.
Everyone in guild was laughing while one man that was sitting on the bar, Guild Master Makarov, opens his eyes when he felt a large presence that no one else was paying attention to except for his son Laxus.
Just as he was about to say something, Natsu started running towards the doors. "NATSU WAIT BOY!" "SORRY GRAMPS BUT GOTTA GET READY FOR TH-." Just as Natsu was about to reach the door, it opened so fast he didn't have time to react and was smacked face front then started slowing falling in pain. "OK, WHOSE THE WISE GUY THAT OPENED THE DOOR?!" And before him and the entire guild, came the Royal Knights with what seems like a giant box covered by a giant rag.
Everyone had either a worried, shocked, or concern look on their face. Insequently, most of them all shared one thought at the same time: "WHAT DID NATSU DO THIS TIME?!" One person was walking through the knights and showed a familiar face to a few including Lucy. "Princess Hisui! It's so good to see you again!" As Lucy walks up to hug Hisui, she hugged while saying, "The same to you except now I'm the new Queen." Lucy perked up while backing off because she's now royalty and wanted to respect that. "Oh forgive me your Majesty." "It's alright. After all, you all saved Magnolia from so many threats."
At this time the Master was wheeled towards the newly crowned queen by the bar mistress, Mirajane. "Hello your Majesty. Do what we owe the pleasure of having you and your knights in our Guild Hall. And if it has anything to do Natsu, he may be reckless idiot but he's a good kid and I apologize for anything he has done."
"Awww thanks Gram- HEEEEEYYYYY! WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY KID?!" Everyone then just fell down in fake laughter. After regaining composure, Hisui had her knights salute to the guild members before she spoke. "Members of Fairy Tail, on behalf of the entire Kingdom and country of Fiore, I would like to extend a warm felt and most gracious thank you for what you have done to protect everyone from the Alverez Empire as well as the terror of Acnologia." The master bowed his head for their gratitude as well as everyone in the guild hall. "To say thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we like to present 2 gifts to you all." This perked everybody up as one of the knights came forward with a briefcase as one thing popped into the Masters' head and out came dollar bill signs for eyes along with Lucy's eyes the same thing. When the knight opened the case, they were expecting a whole lot of money, but inside only showed one thing: Nothing.
The Master did spoke, "Um, excuse me your royal majesty but there's nothing in here." Hisui showed a smile before she spoke, "Well, at first you would receive an amount of $500,000,000.00 Jewels," which had many eyes popped out of shocked and amazement, even Natsu and Happy were freaking out over it. "WOAH! NO WAY!" "THAT'S SERIOUSLY CRAZY HERE!" Hisui then spoke before anyone said anything else. "However, we had to use the money to help the country rebuild after all the damage was brought so please understand it went to a very good cause." Everyone just nodded knowing they understood completely except for 2 people who was crying on the floor.
"But we do have your second gift and its right outside so if I can have everyone follow me, please." So the entire guild started walking towards the entrance while Erza helped Lucy up from her crying and Laxus had to pick up his sad grandfather to his wheelchair before pushing him out.
Once outside, everyone saw a giant box with 4 ropes on one side each with a knight holding on to them. "Members of Fairy Tail. I like to present you with this gift." After she said that, the knights pulled onto their ropes as the sides start to fall and everyone gasp as Natsu proclaimed, "WHAT IS THAT?!"
How was that? I know, a cliffhanger already on the first chapter. But that's because I want the next one to be a great chapter. I also don't rush for the next one to come out so I'm going to work hard and make sure it comes out great for you all. I hope you all enjoy and please leave a comment. Till then, see you all later.
