A/N: Sup' and yes I did revamp the story to make it so Percy gets the powers at 12 just before he heads to Yancy. I just decided to do it this morning. Yawning, I got up to the sound of my alarm clock buzzing like a fucking war cannon. I bashed its brains in before rubbing my bleary eyes and preparing to nose-dive into another pleasant coma of dreams and rest when I spotted in the corner of my cornea a blue box with some text displayed on it.
'The fuck? Am I hallucinating? Did someone finally feed me a mix of magic mushrooms and crack? Not that I'm complaining - that was on my bucket list after all.' I thought. After swiping my hands in the blue box to no avail, I finally started to read it since there really was nothing else to do with it.

Percy Jackson is the son of the Greek god Poseidon - the Earthshaker, Stormbringer and Lord of the Seas and Sally Jackson, one of the most pure-hearted mortals on Earth. He is a demigod and as such is more powerful than the average mortal.
Due to his heritage he gains +3 in STR, VIT and DEX and has ADHD for battle and dyslexia as he is hardwired to read Ancient Greek. His heritage as the son of Poseidon allows him to gain a boost of +1000 [HP] and [MP]. As he is a demigod, he also gives off a scent which allows monsters from Greek Mythology to track him. The scent grows stronger as he does.
He is cunning and clever while also quite acrobatic due to his high DEX.

I blinked. I blinked again. Don't tell me you wouldn't do the exact same thing in this situation because I had an absolute BOMBSHELL dropped on me.
My dad is a fucking god?! The fuck?! My mom wooed a damn god? You kidding? And how come this jackass is a god and can't fucking call me once in a while? I get he is probably busy controlling and managing the seas but you're telling me this bitch can't even talk to me once in my whole damn 12 years of life? And I'm a demigod? Do I get cool powers? Like the ones in the Greek myths? Wait if gods are real are all the myths real? And holy fuck I'm OP as hell if do get powers. I can control the sky, earth and sea to some extent. SHIT!
I pondered all these questions in my mind calmly and came upon another realization. How the hell have I not fainted yet? Like I just got told my dad is a god, the Greek myths are real, I'm a fucking demigod and ponies with wings exist. The heck? I sighed at this conundrum. After thinking for a while, I realised this is very similar to an RPG game with all my stats and my status showing up so I spoke out loud, "Help." A screen popped up.

Huh. That explained a lot. And then another horrifying realisation hit me as I read over my stats and status. I give off a SCENT. To MONSTERS from the Greek myths that will literally eat me, brain and all. "Fuck.." I muttered as I dismissed the screens in front of me.
This means I need to be prepared or I will be a literal monsters snack. This also explained a couple of incidents I had experienced in the past like when I was 7 and I saw a man with only one eye on his face. Back then, I freaked out and ran away confused on petrified by the sight but now I finally knew why he had one eye. He was a cyclops. From the myths. With this disconcerting realisation, I laid back on my bed trying to make a plan to survive and not to become a monster's snack when suddenly, another blue box sprang up.

Damn, so early in and already my life is a danger? I didn't really have a choice so I accepted. Plus, I would be getting free money and EXP so its worth it. Now, onto the major problem at hand - how the fuck I was going to accomplish this. I have an idea on how to increase my STR and INT but not really my DEX, VIT or WIS since I didn't really know what they did or what they were. Again, I asked my trusty companion for some help.
[WIS]/[WISDOM]
This stat represents your street-smarts and prudence as well as how you handle yourself in dangerous situations. It determines willpower and decision-making skills and how good you are at making strategies. It can mainly be increased by getting experience in aforementioned situation or just making good decisions that affect you positively overall. Every time your [WIS] increases by +1 your [MP] increases by +5.
[VIT]/[VITALITY]:
This stat represents the durability and endurance of the character and how much damage they can take as well as how resistant they are to illnesses, poisons etc. You can increase your [VIT] by partaking in exercise that requires stamina and endurance such as a marathon. Every time your [VIT] increases by +1 your [HP] increases by +5.
[DEX]/[DEXTERITY]:
This stat represents how flexible a character is and also their fine motor skills as well as their aim and reaction time. It also correlates to your speed. You can train this by partaking in archery or gymnastics or just stretching your body in general.
After absorbing all this information, I nodded and dismissed it and looked at my stats again and made a plan on how to increase all of them excluding [LUC]. For [STR] I would probably just go to the gym and weight lift to increase it, for [VIT] I would just do very long runs that could go up to 10km, for [DEX] I could sign up to an archery club at my school, for [INT] I could read books and solve puzzles but increasing [WIS] would be the hardest and I had 0 idea what to do. I racked my brain for plausible methods to increase my [WIS] but honestly couldn't think of any. As a result, I would be using my [AP] to increase them slowly but surely.
I sighed. My life really had become a game. Welp, not much I could do about it but survive after having this shitload dumped on me. I was so damn tired I couldn't be asked to think anymore but I forced myself to look at the quest and brainstorm. How the fuck am I supposed to get a weapon capable of killing monsters? I'm assuming a normal weapon wouldn't work since it isn't magical or some shit like that.

Fuck off game. Bored, I dismissed the blue pop-up ad and scanned my status to see if I had missed anything. And oh boy am I glad I did. I noticed the fact I had some Perk Points and I decided I wanted to spend them to get some cool new powers or something. Moving to my command, a tree of perks introduced itself in front of me with many perks but only a select 6 were available to yours truly. As my interest rekindled, and I looked at each and every one of them.

Damn, all of these were actually decent in their own ways. However, I ruled out [COMBO DEMON] because I highly doubt I would be able to land any combos due to me having no experience in battle. [IRON BODY] was must for my defence and so was [GRACEFUL ANGEL] since then it would be way easier to dodge fast attacks and combos. Now, it was a battle between [SKILL MASTER] and [BATTLE STRATEGIST] in my head. While it would be nice to be able to think faster, learning skills faster is a must for me since currently I have none so I need to level up FAST. And [SKILL MASTER] is just better at that. So, it was the victor and those were my 3 perks I had chosen.
Grinning deviously, I bought those 3. Just as I was about to unleash my evil cackle, my mom called me, "Percy, you're gonna be late for school! It's the first day! Wake up dear!"
Hurriedly, I packed my things and got dressed. Giving my mom who was the greatest woman on all of planet Earth a quick hug, I then proceeded to dash out of the door and into a school bus that went to Yancy Academy. I made it in the nick of time and walked in and took a seat absolutely exhausted from the quick turn of events from discovering I'm a demigod to me dashing to a school bus. I chuckled at the irony of the things happening to my life.
