Chapter 160

Nightmare Begins

I was flying up towards the large structure that had now appeared above the sky, keeping a safe distance away from Byro's octopus, so he, along with Michelle, or rather Imitatia, didn't see me. I had to restrain myself immensely after what I had just seen and overheard. I still couldn't believe that Michelle was nothing more but a persona, and turned out to be a member of the Seis. Part of me felt that something was up with that girl when I met her, and I wanted nothing more than to pummel her for her betrayal. However, I did my best to bottle up those feelings. For now, I had to stay quiet while maintaining stealth, praying Byro and Imitatia didn't suspect me following them with me being out in the open like this.

Soon enough, I could see a large structure floating just below the massive structure that was the Infinity Clock. It appeared to be a floating city with a large golden ring with a pyramid in the middle of the hole held up by three long and black arms. As the octopus flew straight towards it, I hung back a little, waiting until they entered the structure out of sight. Once they were far enough away, and out of sight, I fired my feet and shot towards the bottom of the structure, making sure that I wouldn't be seen. Then while I glided upwards and touched down on one of the arms, climbing upwards until I was on the surface of the gold ring. I carefully peered over at the edge, looking down below. I saw Byro, along with Imitatia with Natsu and Lucy in tow, enter the structure with many guards saluting them.

"Well, that figures. Should've known that there would be soldiers of some kind." I then looked over at the buildings. "And I can scratch flying from above, unless I want to set everyone off. There's got to be another way in."

I looked around while thinking, trying to find a solution. Then, I took notice of the guards that were stationed outside of the walls. From the looks of things, there were only guards standing guard by the front gates, so I could probably scale the wall, but there would probably be more waiting on the other side, which led me to think of only one way to get inside. I carefully ran along the gold ring until I was on the back of the structure. Then, I slid down on one of the arms until I was level with the ground. I used my Aqua Wings to glide until I was just around the corner. As I peered out from where I hid, I conjured up a water star and, while winding up a few times, threw it straight towards the guards. The star whizzed straight past them, making them both jump.

Knowing that someone would be coming soon, I quickly conjured a sword, jumped up, stabbing it into the wall, and while flipping, I used it as a ledge so that I wouldn't be seen. Sure enough, a guard came from around the corner and looked around to inspect. As soon as he looked up in my direction, I pounced and gave him a swift kick right on his skull, making him crumple to the ground unconscious. As soon as I was sure, I stripped him of his clothes and switched them with mine. At that moment, I heard the sound of footsteps, alerting me that more of the guards were coming. I pointed my spear and pretended to be panting as if I had just fought a battle just as the guards came around the corner.

"What's happened here?!" demanded one soldier.

"I found this suspicious character skulking around like a rat!" I told them in a gruff voice. "He tried to get the drop on me, but I managed to knock him out before he tried anything."

The soldiers then looked across to the unconscious and disguised guard in surprise, and then back at me.

"Nicely done," congratulated a soldier. "But do you have any idea who this intruder is?"

"Who can say?" I said with a shrug. "For all we know, he could be one of those wizards from a local guild or something. I say we take this intruder to a cell immediately so that he won't cause trouble."

"I agree," said the other soldier. "The last thing we want is to have a wizard running rampant in our church. If we do, Cardinal Lapointe will have our heads."

"Very well then," said the first soldier. "You two take him to the cells, and report back. Make sure that he stays there."

Then the soldier and I hoised the body up, headed towards the entrance, and stepped through the gates.

"It looks like they don't suspect a thing. But I can't let my guard down for a moment. Once I get inside and ditch the guards, I'll have to try and poke around until I can find Silver Beard and the Seis. Hopefully, I'll be able to keep up this facade without getting busted until then."

Meanwhile, back at the tavern, Elfman explained everything that had happened to the others, and needless to say, they were shocked as well as appalled. Not only that, but something else had transpired while the teams were away.

"So Michelle's true identity is the eighth member of the Oracion Seis, Imitatia?" Erza questioned. "And to add to that, Brain was over at Kardia Cathedral, too?"

"Yeah. Gildarts and Laki found the real Michelle Lobster holed up underground cave in a coma of sorts," said Max. "No one really knows how long she was in there, but she was in rough shape. Luckily, they managed to get her to a hospital, so I guess that's a relief."

"Yeah, but that proves that everything she said and did was nothing, but an act to fool us!" Elfman spoke bitterly. "And what's worse is that they also got Natsu and Lucy, and I couldn't do anything to stop it!" He then punched his fist into his palm in remorse. "It's all my fault! I wasn't brave enough to do anything!"

"It's not just you, Elfman. We've failed miserably, too," said Alzack sadly. Bisca and I tried to stop him from whatever he was up to, but he was too strong for us. We were too weak."

"Please don't blame yourself, Big Brother Elf," soothed Lisanna. "There was nothing you could have done."

"And you both did your best to stop Brain," Mira told Alzack and Bisca. "The important thing is that you all came back alive."

"I deserve some of the blame, too," said Cana. "If anything, I'm the one who started this whole thing."

"What do you mean by that?" Erza asked.

"My cards didn't say anything about Brain appearing at Kardia Cathedral, and they're usually correct," explained Cana. "And I'm pretty sure everyone can agree that the teams I picked were hardly accurate. I'm willing to bet that you guys had trouble getting in sync when you were fighting, am I right?"

"Now that you mention it, we were having trouble," Gray said thoughtfully. "We didn't mesh together at all."

"We couldn't agree on anything, and we ended up fighting each other rather than the enemy," said Elfman sheepishly.

"Do you think someone on the outside turned your fortunetelling against us?" asked Mira.

"It's the only explanation," said Cana. "And usually, my fortune-telling never fails like that."

"What about Brain being over at Kardia Cathedral?" wondered Max. "What was he doing over there?"

"Well, when we found him, he was in the lower levels inside of the church, where Will Neville's grave was," said Alzack. "When I was lying on the ground, he said something about severing the Anti Link. When that happened, he destroyed the remains and went on his way. Whatever he did, must have caused that weird thing in the sky to appear."

"Damn it," Gray cursed. "So, basically, we've been wasting our time running around for no reason."

Elfman then suddenly remembered. "Hey, wait! That reminds me! I saw something else!" he said. "Remember that masked guy that Lucy was talking about a while ago? I saw him, too, and I think I figured out who's underneath it."

"Well, who is it?" asked Gajeel.

"Before I called Warren using one of Cana's cards, I saw that masked guy sprout wings made of water and fly, following that Byro and Michelle to that fish thing," said Elfman. "He was also shooting water from the bottoms of his feet, and there's only one person I know who uses magic like that."

Mira and Lisanna gasped. "Willy!"

"But if that's the case, then Willy was the one Lucy saw that night, and the one who broke into his room," said Max. "But the question is why?"

"Isn't it obvious?" said Gajeel. "He's got a score to settle, and he doesn't want us getting involved or being found. My guess? He had that getup stashed in his room somewhere, and broke into his room to get it, so that no one, including us, would recognize him."

"But, surely, he knows that he can't take on an entire dark guild all by himself, right?" said Juvia. "It's not only foolish, but it's suicide. Could he really be after them for revenge from being controlled?"

"That does seem logical," said Mira. "But based on everything that's happened, it seems that there's a lot more to this than just a grudge. Whatever reasons Willy has for doing what he's doing, it's personal, and he's already at the lion's den."

"Then, let's stop feeling sorry for ourselves and worrying!" said Wendy. "We need to figure out a way to save Natsu, Lucy, and Willy before something awful happens to them!"

"Wendy's right!" agreed Happy. "So, let's go get them!"

Then, an unfamiliar voice was heard. "Excuse me. I hate to interrupt, but I'd like a moment of your time, actually."

The Fairy Tail mages looked up and saw a group of four men now standing before them. They were all middle-aged, two of them short and one of them being medium size pulling along a large box that was in the shape of a cross, and had the symbol of Zentopia on it. The fourth was an average built man with purple hair styled in a ponytail with his beard, curvy eyebrows, and mustache to match. All four of them also wore brown, loose vests with baggy pants, black boots, and white scarves around their necks. Everyone in Fairy Tail had no idea who these gentlemen were, but Happy recognized them immediately.

"Hey! It's actually those "actually" guys!" the blue exceed pointed out.

"How do you know them, Happy?" asked Lisanna.

"Back when we were looking for the clock pieces, our group ran into these guys," explained Happy. "They were trying to convince us not to look for the pieces, but they decided to let us go anyway."

"How can we help you?" Makarov asked the four. "Is there something you wish to discuss with us?"

The man with purple hair then took off his hat, revealing his thinning hairline. "Actually, the four of us came here to see, Miss Lucy Heartfilia," he said. "On behalf of Fiore's Archeaochical Society, you see. May we speak with her?"

Macao squinted suspiciously. "What's your business with Lucy?" he asked. "I'm Macao, the Fairy Tail guild's master, so you'll have to speak with me."

"Well, you see, actually," said the man. "It has to do with a matter of the utmost importance, that strange object in the sky, actually, so I must speak with her directly, you see."

"The Oracion Seis captured Lucy and Natsu," said Happy. "So, you can't talk to her even if we allowed you to."

"If you need to talk to Lucy, can't you confide with us?" asked Mira. "We're her friends, and need all the information we can get right now, especially since three of our own are in danger."

"Actually, considering the situation unfolding as we speak, there's no reason to keep what we know a secret," said the man. "And since you're Miss Heartfilia's friends, we'll tell you everything that we know."

So, everyone paid close attention to the man with purple hair as he began explaining.

"By now, I'm sure you're all well aware of the name Will Neville, correct?" began the man. "You see, I'm actually his great-grandson, Jean-Luc Neville."

Everyone gasped.

"Well, this is a sudden revelation," commented Erza. "Is that true?"

"Yes, it is," said Jean-Luc. "And in actuality, I was also good friends with Miss Lucy's father, Jude Heartfilia, you see. I knew him very well."

"Lucy's old man?" repeated Gray. "How does he fit into all of this?"

"It's quite a long story, actually," said Jean-Luc. "But let me start by saying it's my duty to keep watch over the seal of the Infinity Clock for as long as I live."

"Does that mean that you're a Celestial Wizard?" asked Makarov.

"No, I am not, sir. However, I'm very familiar with the clock's history, you see," Jean-Luc said to Makarov. Actually, my life's goal was to keep the chaos from swallowing the world for however long it took, and to warn the people if that threat should ever be unleashed. It all started several months ago, when the Infinity Clock's hand was discovered on a dig at an ancient excavation site. Apparently, it was buried in the ruins to contain the incredible amount of magic power it possessed. By the time, our archaeological society received word that it had been discovered, it was already gone by the time we arrived, eventually ending up in Jude Heartfilia's hands. He was a collector of these kinds of things, you see. Thankfully, it wasn't hard to locate him along with the hand, thanks to that magic power. In the wrong hands, that kind of magic power would be dangerous, so I contacted Jude as soon as I could. After that, to contain the immense magic power emanating from the hand, and hoping to prevent any chaos from actually happening, I wrapped it up in a magical cloth. Then, Jude and I agreed. he would take steps to ensure the hand's safety by having it moved to another location, actually."

"So, that's how it ended up being sent to Lucy," hummed Makarov thoughtfully. "Now it's all starting to make sense."

"Can you tell us what makes the Infinity Clock such a dangerous item?" asked Erza.

"It has the power to bring about something quite horrific, actually," Jean-Luc spoke with a hint of fear. "It can activate a powerful magic, a Grand Spell of ending nightmares known as "Real Nightmare."

"Real Nightmare?" repeated Mira. "What exactly does that spell do?"

Jean-Luc paused before responding. "It has the power to drastically alter a person's, if not multiple humans' perception of time, you see," he said. "Actually, if you look at it in another way, you could say that it has the power to control time itself."

"It's a difficult concept to explain, because it doesn't actually manipulate time per se," said one of Jean-Luc's subordinates. "However, it does greatly alter our perception of time. That kind of power is what the inscription referred to as the "inevitable chaos."

"Hold on, I'm not following you," said Elfman, who felt greatly confused. "How is that going to bring about the end of the world? It doesn't make any sense to me."

"Then perhaps this should explain things better," said Jean-Luc. "What time is it right now? What is it you're doing right now? Who are you having this conversation with right now? Imagine what would happen if you lost all sense of what "now" means. People's memories and well as their consciousness are built up from their past experiences they went through in life, you see. If any of those things were thrown into disarray..."

"We would lose our very identities and cease being ourselves," realized Erza in a hushed voice.

The others understood this, too, and were just as unnerved.

"Oh, man. That's chaos, alright," shivered Gray. "In fact, I don't think chaos is even the word for it."

"The Infinity Clock is hovering over the Grand Cathedral of Zentopia," said Makarov. "Based on what I've heard, their doctrine is very much intertwined with it. Do you know anything about them as well?"

"Actually, according to legend, the survivors of the clock's past chaos were the ones that founded Zentopia," said Jean-Luc. "They also were the ones responsible for sealing all of the pieces, and had forbidden anyone from discussing its existence, even with their own members. To this day, it's remained a well-kept secret except for a few of the church's high echelons. The Infinity Clock also accumulates magic every one hundred years until it's released, and due to that fact, many evildoers sought to harness this power until today."

"OK, but there's one thing I don't get," said Lisanna. "The Oracion Seis has been targeting the churches because of the Celestial Wizards, right? Do they have something to do with this, too?"

"Yes, it does, young lady," said Jean-Luc. "It's because of the seal of the Infinity Clock. Are you aware that it's been sealed away all these years because of an Anti-Link spell they were maintaining?"

"Yeah, we heard about that," said Gray. "That's pretty much the reason why they were targeting them. To sever the links."

"That's correct," nodded Jean-Luc. "But, what you don't know is that once their body links were severed, the celestial wizards are cursed into a deep sleep, frozen in a "chrysalis" state, you see."

"What do you mean by that?" asked Mira.

"As you're well aware, Body Links require a vast amount of magic power," explained Jean-Luc. "Whenever an Anti-Link is severed, the resulting reaction causes time to slow down to a halt in that wizard's mind as well as their body, therefore putting them in a "chrysalis" state for one hundred years."

"One hundred years?!" everyone exclaimed in disbelief.

"How awful. Those poor people," murmured Juvia. "I know that we slept for seven years, but that many years is too horrible to imagine."

"We were lucky to have our friends because it was such little time," said Mira. "But imagine how those people will feel when one hundred years pass. They won't have anyone to come back to. Their friends and loved ones will be gone, while they'll be only ones left."

"Yes, which is why I have a formal request, a job that I hope that Fairy Tail is willing to undertake, you see," said Jean-Arc. "To prevent any more casualties, and for the sake of the world." He paused impressively. "Please, do whatever you can to stop the Infinity Clock!"

Elfman then smiled. "Isn't that what we planned to do?" he asked.

"Sure is," said Happy. "And we can rescue Natsu, Lucy, and Willy, while we're at it!"

"We'll gladly take the job, Jean-Luc," said Macao. "I promise as Fairy Tail's Master, we'll stop the clock or die trying!"

Jean-Luc then bowed gratefully. "You have my thanks," he said. "I am extremely grateful that you agreed to my request. However, if you intend to go through with it, you're going to need this." He walked over to the box that his men were pulling. "Actually, we have something especially for you, Titania."

"For me?" puzzled Erza. "What is it?"

Jean-Luc then waved his hand, and the cover of the box slowly eroded, revealing its contents inside. It was a large hammer about the twice of a normal human, had a black zigzag handle, while the head had numerous circular sections colored gray, the front being bigger and had plating on it colored silver. And on the front of the hammerhead was a blue emblem of the Zentopia Church with white surrounding it.

"It's actually an item that was discovered along the clock hand that the excavation site," said Jean-Luc. "It's said that it has the ability to ward off evil. I believe that you're the only person that's capable and strong enough to wield it, you see."

Erza took the large hammer out of its box, to test out its weight, surprisingly being able to lift it. "Thank you kindly," she said with an interested smile. "I'll do my best."

Jean-Luc then turned to the others, "As for my men and I, we shall do whatever we can to offer our assistance," he continued. "We'll continue our research on how to stop Real Nightmare."

"We appreciate the help," smiled Makarov. "You have our thanks as well."

"Um, guys? There's just one problem," said Elfman. "How exactly are we supposed to attack these jerks?"

The answer came from a deep humming that came from outside. Everyone rushed outside, wanting to see what it was, and from the sky, a large and familiar ship came floating down towards them. It looked much more like a ship now, had big sails on the sides and the back, and had a very familiar decorate winged horse as a figurehead.

"It's the Christina Advance!" Wendy cried in delight.

"All right! Blue Pegasus!" cheered Elfman. "Now, there's some real men!"

Then, a scream came from the top of the ship, and someone came falling until they hit the ground with a mighty crash. At first, he was stuck in the ground, his legs twitching in the air, but eventually managed to pull himself out, revealing himself to be Ichiya.

"Hello, my comrades!" said Ichiya. "I've come at your beckoned call, and I'm here to help you! Our assault on the Infinity Clock is about to begin, so join me, and together shall defeat the Oracion Seis, and rescue our fellow friends!"

"You've got to be kidding me," deadpanned Gray. "We're counting on this guy to help us?"

"We need his ship to get to the Infinity Clock," said Cana. "That is the reason why I called him. Unless you know how to fly, it's the only way to get there."

"Yeah, yeah. I know," mumbled Gray. "But he's so damn annoying."

Makarov then enlarged his fist and clocked Gray right on the back, sending him flying right onto the ship. "Would you quit your bellyaching, and get on?!" he barked.

Macao then sighed. "I guess this means I'll be staying behind again, right?"

"Sorry, Macao, I'm afraid so," said Cana. "We're going to be splitting into teams again, and we'll have to be careful when choosing who goes on, because we'll need a strong team on the ground, too."

"Yeah, and you'd better believe that I'm coming along," said Mira.

"That goes for me, too," said Lisanna.

"And me," chimed in Elfman. "Willy's up there, and we've got to get up there and stop him before he gets beaten up by those jerks or worse."

"You and Lisanna don't have to come, Elfman," said Mira. "This is an enemy that none of us have faced before, and it could be dangerous."

"Yeah, but we're still going," said Lisanna. "Willy would do the same for us if we were in trouble. Besides, those guys were responsible for brainwashing him six years ago, and it's high time we get some payback!"

"That's right! We never got a chance to make them pay for what they did to him, and Fairy Tail always gets payback for what people do to our friends!" barked Elfman. "We'll beat up the Oracion Seis and save him along with Natsu and Lucy, too!"

Mira then smiled with a nod. "All right then. Guess all three of us are going then," she said as she glanced up at Christina. "But if Willy is up there, I just hope that we're not too late."

WILLY'S POV

I was now deep in the bowels of the Zentopian Church. Surprisingly, the inside was a lot bigger than it was on the outside. Not only that, but the place was packed to the brim with soldiers, but I made sure to keep silent, maintaining my ruse as much as possible. I followed the guards to the lower levels inside until we came to the cells. All of which were empty, not having a single soul within them. Soon, we came to an empty cell, and the guard held out his palm, twisting it. At his command, the bars of the cell bent out of the way, opening the cell.

"All right. Throw him in here," said the guard. "We'll let Cardinal Lapointe deal with him."

I did as I was ordered and then threw the guy inside of the cell. I immediately clocked him right in the face, making him stumble back inside the cell and slump to the floor, dazed and stunned. While he was stunned, I quickly went inside and ripped my clothes off of his body, and took off my disguise to put them back on. Once I was dressed, I left the two behind in their cell as I made sure to get out of there before I was seen.

"Now all I have to do is find Brain and the Seis. They shouldn't be aware of me being here, but I better stay stealthy. The place is crawling with soldiers. If one of them catches sight of me, there'll be trouble."

I had just started to run about to set off on my mission, when I heard a familiar voice.

"Hey! You! Masked Guy! You're the one that pushed me into the canal!"

I skidded to a stop and looked around, wondering where the voice came from, until my eyes fell upon a particular cell. Inside of it was a scowling and angry Lucy.

"Yeah! That's right! I know it's you!" Lucy yelled angrily. "Do you have any idea how cold that water was?! Not to mention that it was my favorite jammies! You owe me a dry cleaning and a wash, buddy!"

I was just about to answer her back, when Natsu appeared next to her.

"Willy! Is that you?!" the fire dragon slayer barked.

I couldn't help but flinch upon this accusation, and Lucy was so caught off guard, her rage dissipated in an instant. "Natsu, what are you talking about?!" she asked. "This guy can't be Willy. What makes you so sure that it's him?"

"It's because of his scent," Natsu said. "My nose always knows, no matter how disguised a person is! I know it's you, Willy, so why don't you take off that mask already?!"

Knowing that the jig was up, and that Natsu's nose hasn't been wrong for as long as I've known him, I lifted my mask, revealing my face underneath it.

Lucy then gasped in surprise. "No way! It was you, Willy! But if that's true, then you were the one that I saw the other night." Her face then turned into a scowl once again. "And you were the one that pushed me into the canal, you jerk! Do you have any idea how humiliating and cold that was?! You're so lucky that I'm here in this cell because if I weren't, I'd give you a piece of my mind!"

"Would you take it easy for a second, Lucy?" chided Natsu. "After all, Willy's here, and he's going to help us bust out of here."

"I'm sorry, but I won't be doing anything of the sort," I said curtly. "As far as I'm concerned, you two aren't going anywhere."

Natsu and Lucy were shocked by my response.

"What do you mean by that?" Natsu demanded. "Hurry up and let us out of here already!"

"I said that's not going to happen, Natsu," I said. "Besides, even if I wanted to, only a guard can unlock this cell, and I don't have that power, so you guys are stuck either way. But considering that you guys are here, the others will most likely come looking for you, so you might as well wait until then. Once the others come for you, tell them to leave this place as soon as possible. Until then, stay quiet and wait."

"But what about you?" asked Lucy. "Don't tell me that you intend to take on the Oracion Seis all by yourself?"

"And so what if I am?" I responded with a sideways glance. "I've got a score to settle with them anyway."

"Willy, that's not only insane, but also stupid! Even for you!" Lucy yelled indignantly. "You don't stand a chance against the Oracion Seis! Not even a smidgen of a chance!"

"And how do you know that?" I snapped back. "I'm a lot stronger than you think!"

"You're making a big mistake, man!" Natsu growled. "You can't just leave us here! We can help you!"

"I can, and I will!" I barked. "I don't want your help or need it! I can handle the Oracion Seis by myself, and I don't need you guys butting in! There are some things that I have to do by myself, and this is one of them! They're my problem to deal with, and it doesn't concern you two or any of Fairy Tail! So, back off!"

"I'd say were plenty concerned, Willy! You can't go through with this!" Lucy pleaded. "I can understand that you have your reasons for going after the Seis because of what they did to you, but you don't have to face them by yourself! We're your friends, aren't we?! We can't just sit by while one of our own is going to take a risk that could kill him! We want to help you! Master says even the strongest wizards need help from their comrades, so please, let us-!"

"I'M NOT EVEN A MEMBER OF FAIRY TAIL ANYMORE!" I exploded.

There was a long silence as the prison echoed from my outburst.

"Don't you understand? I have no ties with the guild whatsoever, so there's no reason for you to help me," I said in a quiet voice. "I quit the guild because all I ever do is cause trouble, and it's going to continue as long as people keep getting involved with my past. Besides, it's not like I can pretend nothing happened between us after I severed my ties with you. It's not your job to worry about me or what I'm doing. After all, Fairy Tail looks out for their own, and I'm not one of them. I'm just a two-faced traitor that doesn't need any friends or help, so please, don't get involved."

And not wanting to waste any more time, I broke into a run, going as fast as I could without looking back. As I did, my heart ached and filled with agony as I did my best to swallow whatever feelings I had at that moment. Now wasn't the time for me to be feeling miserable. I had a job to do, and I couldn't afford to get distracted.

When I was far enough away from the prisons, I made my way down the corridors while avoiding the guards that happened to walk by or were ahead of me. Whichever spotted me, I quickly made sure to knock them out so they wouldn't alert anyone. Finally, after going through one corridor after another, I came to one with a big set of doors. Feeling curious about where they might lead, I went over to them, and after taking a few glances, I slowly opened the door and peered through them and saw they led to the church's courtyard outside.

"It's way too open for me to go sneaking around. Then again, if Brain or any of the others are somewhere in this place, it would do me good to go looking around outside. It's risky, but I have to risk it."

I was just about to pass through the doors, when I suddenly heard a voice.

"Hey! You over there! Identify yourself!"

I whipped my head around and saw two soldiers standing there, their spears pointing straight at me. I quickly shot forward, hoping to knock them both out, but then more soldiers appeared like rabbits, and all started to fire at me at once with their spears. I conjured a pair of swords and tried my best to deflect the magic shots, but there were too many. Having no other options, and knowing that my cover's been blown, I made straight for doors and burst straight through them. All of the soldiers who happened to be stationed outside immediately noticed me and soon had me surrounded, pointing their spears.

"It's no use trying to run away, intruder!" I heard a soldier shout. "You're trespassing on Zentopia's Grand Church! So, come quietly, or you will get hurt!"

Now realizing that I had no choice but to defend myself, I took my stance and poised my swords as the soldiers prepared to fire.
