Jeff sipped his soda, watching the movie. May not have been his first choice, but after the first two it was growing on him. The appeal was sure there. Miles was really enjoying it. He smiled, rubbing his son's shoulder.

"Dad, dad, watch this part!" Miles whispered in excitement, shaking his dad's knee.

"I'm watching, son."

"Wasn't that cool!?" Miles bounced.

Jeff nodded, watching the anime flick.

"That was great!" The teen clenched his fist in excitement as they left the theater, "Did you enjoy it?"

"Yeah, when I figured out the plot of each movie, I enjoyed it. I liked the movie with the pig pilot."

Miles hopped up and down before giving Jeff a hug, "Thanks again."

The officer's heart swelled, hugging his son back, "You're welcome. I'm happy you had fun."

"I had a ton of fun," he jumped in the car, "Where are we going next?"

"Home, its almost 6," he buckled himself up.

"Ok," Miles figured.

The car was filled with his father's music as they drove. Miles sat in thought for a minute before deciding to talk.

"Hey dad, uhm, do you think it's weird that someone older than me could…uhm…like this stuff?"

"What do you mean, son?"

An uncomfortable shuffling in the seat, "Do you think I'm weird?"

Jefferson glanced to his son, "I may not always understand you, but I don't think you're weird necessarily. Did something happen?"

"No, I just was thinking that if I'm like this there has to be someone older than me like this. And I just…I didn't think it was weird but it might be," he explained erratically.

Dad nodded, listening to his boy talk, "I never knew about this stuff. But there is a whole lot I don't know about. It was weird at first, because it was just different from what I was used to. But I don't think anything is wrong with you, or even someone older than you."

Miles hung on to each word.

"People deal with things differently. Whether it's mourning, stress or what have you. I choose this for you over drugs, or something that hurts you or someone else."

The teen nodded, slowly smiling and hugging his dad's arm.

"Quitter," Jess teased, "Tell him he's a quitter, GG."

"Now look here," Virgil started, laying the tape, "This is an all day event. I am not trying to carry around a wet bag, nor am I bringing it to the car constantly."

"Forget that we have the stroller, like always."

"You can't see it, right?" Miguel looked down.

"No, you don't notice it," he checked the leak guards before letting 2099 up, "All done."

"Quitter," she whispered at him using disposable. Although the designs were just as cute as the cloth ones.

"Whatever," he playfully pushed her away, "Hurry up and finish getting ready."

Miguel watched them play. He always loved Jessica and Virgil's interactions. They were such a unit.

"Hey, Jess?"

"Yea?" She replied, busying herself with filling the diaper bag while Gunner crawled after his daddy.

Mig shuffled some, "I…am I bothering you guys?"

"That came out of nowhere. What made you think that?"

He glanced to the ground, rocking in place, "I'm always over here. And you're both always taking care of me."

"Ok. And?"

"I just don't want to bother you. I can go..."

Jess sighed, walking over and sitting with him, "You're overthinking again, huh?" She took the side of her finger, running it along his cheekbone, "We enjoy you being here. And you're not just here existing. You help out so much. Much more than that little thing scurrying across my floor."

He melted into her gentle touch, "But…I'm not your baby."

She frowned, hearing the sadness in his voice, "Of course you're my baby. You're my baby, and daddy's baby. And on occasions we share you with Peter and MJ."

Jess smiled and kissed his forehead, pulling him into a hug, "So it's our job to take care of you. And mommy loves her babies, and lives to care for, worry about and protect them."

Mig leaned into the hug, returning with a tight squeeze.

"Are you my baby?"

He nodded into her shoulder.

"Don't mommy and daddy make you feel safe?"

Another nod.

"Is mommy's baby happy?"

"Yes," he admitted quietly.

Jess smiled, letting him go to caress his cheek again, "Good. I am too. Now why don't you help daddy put GG in the car?" She gifted him another kiss.

He nodded, quickly going to find both the baby and daddy. They nearly bumped into each other in the hall. Miguel just hugged Virgil.

"Am I missed that much when I go to the bathroom?" He joked, rubbing Miguel's large back.

Miguel wasn't too far as the family walked the arboretum, enjoying the sculptures that had been placed.

Virgil took several pictures, "I told you they would like the exhibits. And the walk is gonna give us some amazing sleep and calves."

"When you're right, you're right," she shrugged, taking her husband's hand as they walked, occasionally looking back since Miguel kidnapped the stroller and child in the stroller.
