Jess sighed, tapping the table.
Her husband brought her a glass of water. "Something wrong?"
"I feel like I'm producing so much," she shook her head, "I feel so full, even after Gunner finishes I still feel like I'm pumping a ton."
"Think it's part of your spider person mutant thing?"
"I mean," she shrugged. It wasn't off the table.
"Think it's because you're filled with those maternal feelings?"
Jess thought about the statement, "Maybe my body thinks someone is still hungry…"

"Ack!" Miles nearly hit the ground after the giant ran into him.
"Sorry, didn't see you," Mig shrugged, walking along, "Forgot my magnifying glass."
The teen glared off. He went to dust his shoulder and felt something. There was a little note attached to him.
I saw your other one broke. Check your hip.
He looked to his side, seeing a little Keychain, similar to the one that he lost in his last fight. Oh, so this is how he wanted to play it.
Miguel and Miles had started a strange war between each other. Find the stealthiest way to give each other small gifts. So far Miguel had stealthily given Miles chapstick, colored pencils and now this Keychain. Miles was behind having only given him a stress toy and a cookie. He was gonna have to step his game up.
It was pretty cool coming to visit HQ now. There was a weird comradery the two had built up. It was helped too by them having a little secret they shared.
Soon as he saw that Miguel was distracted he plotted. He knew he had a special surprise for him, but it was taking a little while to be delivered. Until then, small things.
When the towering spiderman turned, Miles let him get a few steps in before tripping him.
"Oops, sorry, forgot you don't have spider sense," he smirked, walking away victorious.
The brunette growled, having gripped the table to keep from face planting, "D mn little…" There was a smoothie on the table.
Enjoy blue panther :P
Ok. Fine.

"What do you think they're doing?" Gwen asked. She wasn't the only one noticing the way Miles and Miguel had been playing about with each other.
"I think it's nice that everyone is getting along well," Pavitr smiled, "Makes this a pleasant place to be again."
Hobie didn't say much, just crossed his arms, "I suppose."
Why were those two so buddy-buddy lately? Miles was clearly better than he was, because Punk could guarantee he'd still be trying to find a way to bring Miguel down after what he did.
"What's that expression?" Jess brought Hobie back to reality with a tap on the nose.
"What expression?" he asked, slightly startled by her.
"Do you guys mind if I kidnap him for a moment?" she looked to the other teens who mainly shrugged in response. She took that as an agreement and grabbed Punk's hand leading him off to talk.
"I aint even done nothing," he complained.
"When did I say you did?" she rolled her eyes, "Why are you looking so pouty today?"
"Not looking any way," he remarked, obvious annoyance in his voice.
She gave him the mom look, "Well, I was going to say I got something for you, but if you're gonna be a cranky butt."
"What you got for me?"
"Are you gonna stop being cranky?"
"I'm not cranky!" Punk stamped his feet several times.
Jess watched that action then gave him a disapproving look. He whined, turning away from her, looking contrite. Mom sighed, putting an arm around his shoulder.
"What's wrong Hobie? You want to talk about it?"
The teen hugged himself, "Nothing to talk about."
"Are you feeling left out because your friend is playing with someone else?"
"He can play with who he pleases."
Jess sighed, giving him a hug, "No one has forgotten about you, ok? They're just playing. Miles can have more than one friend, can't he?"
"But why is he friends with Miguel after what he did?" he grumbled into her shoulder, "That oversized, Dorito shaped wanker."
"Now," she pulled him back to look her in the eyes, "What we're not going to do is name call and be mean. Has Miguel been mean to anyone since the situation?"
Punk muttered a no.
"Exactly, so we're not going to be mean to him either," she used the side of her finger to rub his cheek, "It's ok for your friends to have friends you may not get along with. Ok? Miles is still your friend."
He nodded, "But he's big an' he's being rough. What if he hurts him on accident?"
"I think Miles will be ok. They look like they're both having fun playing a bit rough," she reassured him, giving his nose a tap, "Look at you being all protective."
"Well someone has to be," a warm hue came over his face.
"That's true. I got you something though," Jess gave him a warm smile.

Miguel watched as Hobie walked past him, giving him a smug look. His face normally had a smug look on it, but that was different. Ok, whatever.
When he thought Punk had gone on his way he hurried back, standing in front of his table and showing off his fingerless mittens, "Look at what ma got me."
They had a flap that could be pulled over to cover his exposed fingers if he got too cold. It also had short bunny ears on the flaps and safety pins. Obviously they were black.
"Ok? They're very nice," Mig nodded at him before he ran off, smiling like he just won the lottery. That was odd. Even for that boy. The giant just shrugged and went back to his smoothie.
