Rio held tight to her son's hand as they walked throughout the rest of the museum. Despite his little tantrum, they were still able to enjoy the sculptures and art. She really enjoyed the African exhibit. Their masks always fascinated her most.

"Do you want to see the costumes or the armor?" She asked her boy.

Miles thought for a second, "Can we see the armor?"

She nodded, checking the map and walking along the path. Their friends followed not too far behind, Jess getting pictures here and there.

"What is this?" Rio leaned forward to read the plate, "Why is this spur so beautiful? Jessica, doesn't this look like a unique bracelet?"

Hearing her name, Spider-mom made her way over, "Oh that's gorgeous. Did you see the sword guard?"

The teen tugged at his mother's arm some, "Mami?"

"Yes?"

"Can I go find something to draw please?"

Rio tapped her chin, "I don't know, am I going to have to call you multiple times when it's time to move on?"

"No mami."

"Are you going to throw another fit? Because you're not going to like what happens if you do," she raised a brow.

He shook his head earnestly.

"Ok, stay close," she released her hold on the boy, allowing him to hurry away to the weapons. Rio just looked to Jess with a shake of her head.

Jess just gave her a sympathetic smile, "We just have a few more exhibits and then we can grab some food."

"And a drink."

"What are you drawing?" Miles pulled himself up Miguel's bicep.

"The arrow heads," he focused on getting the curve right, "That spear is nice too."

Miles searched through the weapons for a potential next picture, "Ohh! I'm gonna draw that knife!" He let go of Miguel and hurried to take his sketchbook out.

The taller bloke watched him go, getting back to his lackluster drawing. Not the best art, but that's ok. He was just supposed to draw something and take a few notes on it. Bet daddy would be really interested.

"Boys, time to move on to our last exhibit," Jess called out.

Mig heard the call and quickly finished his note before looking about for Miles. Thankfully the boy was still sketching daggers.

"Come on," Miguel took his hand, leading him unhappily back to the women.

"Man, every time I really get into it," he complained, hurrying after him.

Jess smiled at the two, "Last exhibit guys. I don't know about you, but I'm getting hungry."

"I guess," Miles hadn't even thought about his stomach, he'd been so focused. But now that she mentioned it, breakfast had been a long time ago.

They did get to enjoy the fashion exhibit a lot. Miles didn't think he would like it as much as the weapons, but he was happily surprised.

"Come, Mijo," Rio took his hand and led him to the bathroom.

He pulled away some, "No, I said I was sorry about hitting mom. I didn't do it again!"

Rio dismissed his whimpering, "We're not going in there because you're in trouble, I'm sure you need a change. Considering the last two times I asked you if you needed to go you said no. And you haven't went potty since before we left home hours ago."

Miles paused to think. He had been so distracted by all there was to see.

"You have been so good today," Jess rubbed her boy's cheek, "Mommy is going to have to get you something nice."

Miguel smiled at her cooing, holding her hand to his face.

"When they're finished we'll get you nice and cleaned up and then we're going to have a good meal, Rio said there was a very nice little restaurant not too far."

"M'kay," he rubbed his face into her palm, giving it an appreciative kiss.

"You got a lot of them," Miguel looked at the pictures Miles eagerly showed as they waited for their food.

"Mami, can we go back again soon? I really want to draw more of the statues."

"Yes, nene, we can go again soon," she nodded, sipping her Daquiri. It was nice to not be the driver.

"Alrighty," the waitress came, setting down their respective meals, "Enjoy."

"Empanadas, empanadas!" Miggy quietly bounced in his seat before politely tearing into the meal set before him.

The food nearly brought tears to his eyes. It had been a while since he had a good empanada and here it was. The ones in HQ were good, but these were another level.

Miles snickered, eating his enchiladas as Miguel acted as though he transcended to Valhalla, "You act like you never eat."

"Unlike you, I don't weigh 50 lbs with a wet t-shirt on," he dismissed, continuing to eat.

"So you're admitting you're fat? Good job," the teen teased, "Then I better just help you out there."

Miguel karate chopped the boy's wrist as he put his hand near his plate, "You keep that hand away from my food or I'll eat your arm next!"

"No playing at the table," Rio chided, "Don't want anyone to choke or make a mess."

"Sorry Mami," Miles laughed, sipping his pop before getting back to the meal.

The two still had too much energy after lunch so the moms decided to stop at the park and let them burn a little off. Which they happily did by sword fighting with some sticks they broke off.

"We have to do this more often," Rio marked, "It's nice to see him so laid back with a friend he's not embarrassed to call me 'mami' around."

"Same. Little by little my Pumpkin is letting himself become more comfortable," Jess smiled, "I think I need to have you guys over to my house soon."
