Virgil watched as his wife vacuumed the couch, an enticed grin spread across his face as the motion of her booty hypnotized him. Waving at him.

"Make sure you really get in the crevice. You know Gunner still doesn't know where his mouth is."

"You enjoy the show all you want, I know you better be cleaning that tv and stuff," she rolled her eyes at her goofy husband.

"How was the aquarium? I've only been hearing about it forever."

"Oh the kids had so much fun. Ben gets on my nerves. All he does is whine and cry about not being invited anywhere. Like I didn't tell him he could come if he wants."

"I mean, you are the cool one, of course everyone wants to be around you," he wiped dust from the sides of the TV.

"If you say so, babe," she took the vacuum to the kitchen to empty the container, "But it was fun. They all picked out their favorite fish and took plenty of pictures. B-ma and MJ came to help me chaperone so that was especially nice."

"I bet she was planning recipes with each passing creature," he teased.

"You know it. How was hanging out with Richie?"

"Just dandy, he has the ugliest ET cat."

"Oh, one of those hairless ones?"

"Ugh," he shuddered, "And of course he's talking about starting up a business and is looking for me as a consultant. I may or may not have too many clients. I also told Miguel he should invite his brother over here for a meal. I have a feeling that's not going to happen."

Jess shook her head, "No, I doubt it. But that's always a viable option."

"You still thinking about going back to work when Gunner hits two?"

She shrugged. That was just a few weeks away. How time flew, "That was the agreement. Do you not want me to go back?"

Virgil paused, thinking about the question, "I would say that I enjoy you being a stay at home mom, but you're not really that, are you?" he shrugged, "If you want to go back to work, I won't stop you. It's just up to you."

Jess slid her arms around his waist, leaning into his back, "You have a say, babe. If you want me to not go back I won't. I can postpone it."

He turned, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and giving her a half hug, "You're a free moral agent. I just don't want you overwhelming yourself with being spider-woman, spider-mom, then trying to work a regular job too."

Virgil shuffled some in his stance, "And I don't want to never get to see my wife."

"Aww, babe," she hugged him tighter, "I wouldn't think to neglect you." A mischievous spark flickered in her eyes as she picked him up and threw him on the couch, "You wanna fight?"

"Heck yeah I wanna fight. What type of question is that?" Virgil smirked back, her mischief reflected in his own eyes.

The couple lay on the floor panting and sweating. Thankfully they hadn't undone too much of the cleaning, but the couch was now partly in the hallway instead of the living room and who knew where the broom and dustpan were.

"You and your stupid spider person stamina," Virgil said between pants, "Just making me feel outta shape."

Jess laughed, "You do a pretty good job keeping up. You still can make me break a sweat."

The man rolled onto his side, "I sure hope so. I surprised Dick last time, next time I see him I need to give him a run for his money. I gotta prove myself to someone who doesn't have cheats enabled this much."

"Yea," she sighed, sitting up, "Let's hurry up and finish cleaning."

"Why? You tired? I didn't yield," he stood, holding his fist up.

"Really?" Jess crossed her legs, "Ok, lets go."

"You looking tired there," Adam scoffed, taking the baby from his brother-in-law, "Long night?"

"No, me and Jess fought for like two hours when we should have been cleaning while that monster was napping," Virgil slipped his coat off and hung up.

"Hi! Hi! Hi!" a symphony of hellos rang out from Virgil's waist.

"Hey ladies," he pulled the girls up in a hug as Jess hung her jacket, "How are my girls? I heard you had a ton of fun with the fish." he handed them over to get hugs from his wife.

"Good," they did the twin thing of speaking at the same time before going off into different conversations about how much fun they had, which was their favorite and just a range of other things.

"Where's Mimi?" Aila looked behind her aunt.

"Mimi is busy today, but he sends his love," Jess carried them both in, closing the door.

This caused them both to sulk.

"Don't worry, you'll see him again soon," she set them on their feet.

"Will you play barbie with us?" Loey begged, pulling on her aunt.

"I sure can, but let me say hi to your parents first. Hey Adam, Sharon," Jess pulled the two into a hug, "Brought some rolls."

"How's it going sis?" Adam gave her a firm hug, "You need to teach your sister how to bake like this."

"Skip you," Sharon dismissed that man, taking the baby out of her his hands, "You and I have things to talk about."

"I'm all ears," Jess followed her off.

Adam wrapped an arm around Virgil's neck, "Let's let them gossip. I got some stuff to show you."

Virgil nodded his head to the beat, "Yeah, I'm liking this one. When you think you gonna be done with the whole album?"

"I'm hoping to have the last couple songs done within a month. I'm gonna put the girls on the last track."

"Cool, we doing recording now or later?" Virgil pulled his violin case onto his lap.

"Do it now," he made his way to the recording room, "Imma play the beat and you give me something."

"You got it," he stood next to the mike, "How's Ivan doing?"

"He's himself, I was gonna ask if he could come to the get together," Adam adjusted everything.

"You was gonna ask or just invite him and see how it played out?"

"Is that a yes or no?"

"I don't know. Mom and pops aren't too fond of him. I have to think about it,"

"He was coming to town, figured we could play cards or something," Adam shrugged, playing a few chords on the piano, "He doesn't have to come to the get together."

Virgil glared at the man, "Look, as long as he don't bring any nonsense to my house with him, he's free to visit. He can be whatever and whoever he wants outside, but in my house he better behave."

"Don't worry, he knows. It's the same over here," Adam scoffed, "You ain't finna be around my kids with any of that crap."

"Happy we're on the same page," V started, "We'll do a trial when he comes to town."
