Hobie grumbled, rubbing his tired eyes and watching the house move about. Another couple weeks had passed so it was time for Virgil to get his retwist. Unfortunately Nan and Hobie had the agreement that he would go with Virgil, but didn't have to get his hair done. He still didn't want to go.

"Is Mig coming?" the punk shifted as Jess pulled a fresh shirt over his head.

"If he wants to. They certainly aren't going to be doing anything with his hair," she shrugged, holding a sock open for him to slide his foot into.

"What am I going to do while I'm there?"

"You're going to probably play and watch some movies, prince. Close your eyes."

He obeyed, waiting patiently for her to finish moisturizing his face, "Can you tell him to come? So I can have someone to play with?"

"I can suggest it, I cant make him."

"Yea you can. If you tell him to he'll have to come."

Jess rolled her eyes, "Let me rephrase then, I'm not going to make him go if he doesn't want to. Asides. I think it's time you had your own day with daddy."

Mig turned his head, his eyes subtly narrowing at the mention of a solo daddy day. He rolled his eyes and went back to playing with his portable gamepad.

Hobie crossed his arms and huffed, clearly unhappy, "Sitting and waiting for him to get his hair done isn't fun."

Mom just ignored him at that point, "Come on, lets go wait in the front room. Is Lizzy coming or is she going to stay here and hang out with all the other stuffies?"

"Nah, she's my partner in crime, she goes with me when it isn't too dangerous," he hugged the cerise bunny to his face.

"Ok, well, you both go and be good at the beauty shop," she rubbed his cheek.

Hobie shuffled unhappily, still leaning towards the gentle touch, "Can I have a kiss?"

Jess smiled, peppering his forehead with several kisses, "There, some for little prince charming," she turned, giving her husband a few, "And some for my man."

Virgil smirked, giving her a smooch, "Yeah buddy. Alright, string bean, let's go see Miss Tina," he took the bag and Hobie's hand.

"Wait, me too!" Miguel sulked, hurrying over, "I want kisses."

Static smiled, receiving a hug and kisses, exchanging his own, "We'll be back sooner than you think, honey. Have fun with mommy and GG."

"If it isn't my favorite customer and one of his children," Tina smiled at Virgil and Hobie, "I recall you only making one appointment."

"He just wants to come and hang out," Virgil removed his shoes as Hobie gave the woman a side-eye. Hiding behind daddy, until Virgil turned to remove his shoes.

"I get a critic to visit me, how fun," she smiled, "You were so upset last time, maybe this time you can enjoy the little toys I have for my worry warts."

Punk looked about the room, "What kind of toys?"

She showed him a little rug area with a toybox, avakus and such. It was mainly meant for toddlers or children under ten, but that was perfect for him. He was ecstatic when he caught sight of a toy building set.

"Ah," Virgil leaned down, offering him his pacifier, which he gladly took, "You play and have fun, I'm going to get these good looks maintained."

"K," he slurred around the mouth piece, quickly playing pretend that he was building a house.

More time went by than Spider-punk realized. He had found Lincoln logs and made his structure so much more impressive. When he was done with that he took some dolls and made a little family to live in the house.

"Are you having fun, little boy?" A thick Jamaican accent asked from behind him.

"Dis one is Nana," he held up a white haired doll, "She lives in England with me, but she's from China."

"Why don't you go to China with her?"

He shrugged, "I don't think she wants to go back. But I like visiting America and India."

"You've been to India?"

"Thats where one of my best friends is from. And some of my other ones are from New York," he hugged the doll, "I love Nana, she takes care of me. She does my hair."

Tina looked over his wicks, squeezing them, "She does a good job, they're very well moisturized and much softer this time around."

He smiled, nodding.

Tina smiled back, tapping his nose, "He's so much cuter when he's not crying his pretty little eyes out. Would you like a popsicle?"

That perked him up, "Ice lolly? I want one, yes."

"Hey?" Virgil scoffed, "What about me? I don't get offered a popsicle."

"Hush, they are for my little clients. The children," The beautician dismissed him.

"I'm the one getting my hair done, hence the client part. And I'm my parent's child," he argued.

Tina scoffed, walking away and grabbing a bin of popsicles for Hobie to choose one before making her way to Virgil.

"Ohh! Bomb pop!" Static quickly made his choice.

"Are you sure you should have children? I'm not convinced you're mature enough to be a father."

"Oh yea?" He opened the wrapper for his child before opening his own, "I'm not convinced you're old enough to be a grandmother."

Miss Tina stared at him a minute before rolling her eyes, "Snake charmer."

Virgil danced in his seat, smirking to himself as he sucked on his second popsicle.

"Does it hurt?"

"Its a little sensitive," he shrugged, "Did it hurt when she did yours?"

Hobie shook his head no, "She likes me."

"Oh yes, she's been bugging me. 'When are you bringing that cute little boy back?' 'He's so adorable, he reminds me of my son.' Yada yada, just fawning over you," he teased.

Punk smiled, "I like her too. She's nice. But I don't want my hair done," he was quick to add.

"Ok, we'll give it more time. Do you want to go to the mall and ride the merry-go-round?"

"Yeah!"
