"Rawr!" Jason made the lion figure gallop towards Hobie's zebra, "My favorite meat!"
"No!" Hobie pushed his toy away, "Please, I just had a calf!"
"Hurry, in here!" Miguel had his alligator drive a car over, "Get in and we'll lose him."
"Woo!" He put his zebra in the other seat and followed the car.
"Hey!" Jay glared, "You're running away with my zebra burger!"
"Sucks to suck," punk smirked.
"Good thing I have a rocket launcher," he threw a hacky sack at the car.
"Ack!" Miguel made the car do several flips, "When did lions get this technology?! My car insurance isn't gonna cover this!"
Virgil listened to the kids play with a smile, sending his wife pictures and video. And of course he was gonna send Dick a video.
"Are you guys ready for lunch or you just want snacks right now?"
Hobie rubbed his tummy, "I'm a bit peckish."
"Ok, that's one, Bubs, Jason?"
Jason rubbed his chin, thinking, "What's for lunch?"
"I'll go see what's in the kitchen," he stood, walking off.
"That's daddy," Hobie pointed to Virgil as he walked off, "And that's bro bro," he pointed to Mig.
"Uh huh, I know him. He's friends with my older brother. He's really fun and nice," Jason smiled, "Your mom is scary though," he whispered.
"Sometimes," Punk nodded, "She has a spatula and it hurts real bad."
"She does?" This was the first time Mig had heard of it. Actually, untrue, she had waved one at daddy in a threatening manner. Miguel shrugged. Guess he was just too good to have to meet with it yet.
"You need to come to my playroom next, we have a jungle gym in it and it's big," Jason told Miguel, holding his arms out in an exaggerated manner, "I want to go one on one on the uneven bars."
"It's that big?"
"Yeah, Bruce has a mansion and he has a playroom for me," Red Hood smiled proudly, "My friends can use it though. My brothers and sisters can sometimes."
"That's cool, daddy said he's going to get GG a little baby gym to go in the playroom now that he's getting bigger."
"Can I use it?" Hobie pouted.
"I think you'll be too big," Miguel shrugged.
"I bet you're used to being too big," Jason remarked, poking the giant's shoulder again.
2099 smirked at the comment, "Only sometimes," he replied, closing one eye when he got a rabbit shoved in it.
"Lizzy says that we should play while daddy cooks," Hobie rubbed the rabbit into Miguel's cheek.
"Ok, what do you want to play now?"
"Ohh, how about-"
"I want to choose!" Hobie cut Todd off, "Let's play-"
"You just chose the last game we played," Mig told him.
"Well he chose the one before that!"
"Sure did, by that logic it's Mig's turn," Jason agreed.
"But I want to play house," Hobie complained.
"I don't want to play house," 2099 shook his head, "I want to play…adventurer. I want to go on a safari!" He clapped.
Hobie whined, kicking his feet.
"You can play house with Lizzy, I know what I want to play," Mig dismissed his antics, "We have to plan out our expedition," he told Todd.
"Are we going through the jungle or the savannah?"
"I want to see tigers and orangutans," Mig hurried to his room to get some of his stuffies to set the mood.
"Come on, metal head, help us set up," Jason encouraged the pouting rockstar.

"Ok, boys," Daddy sang, "Lunch is ready, come fill your bellies!"
A few seconds of waiting before the sound of a small stampede made it's way to his kitchen, "There we are. Today's lunch is chicken sammies and chips," he waved to the table.
"Yum, food!" Jason quickly climbed in the chair, taking a large bite, "Mmmmm!"
"Thank you," Mig sat, sipping his drink.
"Thank you daddy," Hobie set Lizzy on his lap, going right for the crisp.
Virgil stared at Jason expectedly.
"Thank you daddy," Todd joked.
"You are all welcome," he tied a bib around Hobie's neck before pulling a chair to join them eating his own meal, "What games have we played so far today?"
"It's been really fun! We played nerf guns, and the princess game, and we played with animals," Hobie listed off, "I wanted to play house but Miguel said we couldn't."
"And why did he say you couldn't play house?"
"He wants to play in the jungle," he pouted, eating another chip.
"Sounds fun to me," he shrugged.
"Can we play house after lunch?"
"I want you guys to do some quiet play after full tummies. Let everything digest properly."
Hobie sulked, "Can I have more crisp?"
"Eat your sandwich first, honey."
"Can they come over to my playroom next time?" Jason took a massive bite of his Sammie, "We can play on the gymnastics rings and stuff."
"I think they would really enjoy that, we gotta come up with a day," he nodded.

Hobie watched Miguel and Jason go back and forth, sharing markers and laughing. Daddy had put some music on to relax them as they did their quiet play. Punk had tried to argue for regular play after lunch but was threatened with a nap, so he relented.
"Miggy," Hobie shook the giant's arm, "I have a astronaut froggy."
"Yeah, that's pretty cool, Hobie," he glanced at the coloring page before going back to his own.
"I can help with your's," he drug the green crayon over one of the pillows on Migs coloring page.
He pushed the crayon, "I don't need help. Color your own page."
"You wanna help with my page?" Jason offered.
Punk tossed a sulk at him.
"Ohhh, so salty," Jason made fun of him to Mig as he stood and walked off, "You can color my page with me when I get back, ok?"
Hobie watched him go, crossing his arms. He didn't want to color, he wanted to play pretend more. His stomach wouldn't be bothered by playing after eating.
Mig, on the other hand, enjoyed quiet play as much as loud play.
Punk bet if Miguel's friend said he wanted to do regular play they would have done it. He looked over to the giant and his picture.
Hobie toyed with his red crayon until leaning over and drawing on Miguel's page again.
"Ah, ah!" Mig waved over his page, knocking the crayon away and snatching his coloring book from the ground.
"See, I made it cooler. You need more variety in the pillows," the twenty year old grinned, proud of himself.
Miguel looked at the scribbling punk had just vandalized his page with, then his stupid grin. Then looked at his picture again.
Hobie's smile dropped quickly when he saw tears running down Miguel's cheeks. That wasn't supposed to happen.
2099 threw the coloring book down and hurried out of the room, "Daddy!"
