He frowns as he watches Uma.

They'd barely said a word to each other since they'd left the cove. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't worried.

She's just distracted, it'll pass once the deal is sealed.

It fucking better.

Because he didn't like it at all.

He'd take a raging Kraken over a sour Uma any day.

Can you blame her? It's hard to swallow crow. How many times has she been upset with us for making deals?

That's stupid.

I never said it wasn't. If anything, I think this is good for her.

Okay, that might be pushing it.

No, really. We can't afford to turn our backs on such a powerful ally- And whether our family likes it or not-He is our ally. Even if he doesn't fully understand why.

He frowns, are you going to tell them that?

Not in so many words' no. I'm not trying to hurt them, or cause them frustration or concern, merely just trying to strengthen Uma's forces. We need all the help we can get, and like it or not, the Lord of Death is searching for redemption, whether he realizes it or not. You more than most should be able to understand that.

Well yeah but…

He hated how deep she'd gotten in this. Hated how deep his family had gotten.

This was never going to be easy T, not for any of us- And that was before magic made its way into the equation. Now more than ever we have to be diligently vigilant. We still don't know where Shan Yu's true lair is. Or where the truly dangerous witches are, not to mention the added confusion of Atilla's sudden shift. And that's just the pressing matters. There's still food to think about. Territory to claim. Attacks. Deterrents and safeguards to keep us protected. Then the pressing matter of Deez's current condition to contend with. And we can't forget-

Ugh.

He was starting to get a headache.

Jesus fuck, sorry I asked.

"Fuck, just say it T." Uma snaps as the temple comes into view.

He startles as he turns to her in confusion, "say what?"

"Whatever it is you're thinking right now." Uma groans, "about this," she gestures to the temple, "about me making a fucking deal to make this work. Yell at me or something, I've always done it to you."

He lifts one eyebrow, "uh, no."

She crosses her arms over her chest, "why not?"

He shrugs, "cause I ain't pissed or judgin'. Ya did what ya had too. Why would that piss me off?"

"Because isn't that what you've always told me you do?"

"What?" He furrows his brows, "get pissed at you? Cause-"

"No," Uma rolls her eyes before she starts walking again, "you've always done what you had to do, and yet I always got pissed about it being you. So now that I've done it-" she throws her hands in the air.

"So?" He studies her, "I'm willing to take more risks. I know ya'll don't like it, but sometimes it's the best I got… Sometimes the best we got."

She takes a deep breath before letting it out slowly, "yeah, I get it."

"Umes," He tilts his head to the side, "I can't think of a single time I've ever been pissed at you. Fuck," he shakes his head, "I barely get pissed at Hook. Pissy, sure. But pissed?" He shrugs,

"You've had to of been pissed at me before. What about all the times I made you take the hood down, or made you let me take care of you?"

"That doesn't piss me off," He frowns, "it just-" His brow furrows, "isn't, like, comfortable."

Uma's eyes narrow before she steps ahead of him and stops, "you mean to tell me I've never seen you pissed at me?"

He frowns, "not that I can think of?"

Uma's eyes flutter shut before she sighs, "well that's a terrifying thought." She turns on her heels and continues towards the temple.

He tilts his head, "why?" He frowns as he follows her.

"Cause I can't count the times I thought I'd pissed you off, and if that's a whole 'nother level," she shrugs, "yeah, no. Not a fun thought."

He crinkles his brow before he grimaces and looks away, "you've seen me pissed-" he sighs, "but I'm not complainin' if you don't remember."

Uma rolls her lips over her teeth before she smacks them open, "ah, yeah, see, I don't want that aimed at me."

He stares at her blankly, "I'd kill myself first, if that helps."

"It was a joke." She shakes her head, "if I ever did something that bad it pissed you off-" she frowns, "actually, now that I know that's your pissed off, I can't say I'd ever get you there."

Tim.

A snarl pulls at his lips, "I lied, Tim. The fact you let Tim stay for so long pissed me off. Useless mutinying piece of shit."

Uma purses her lips, "I don't think you were pissed at me, you were pissed at him." she rolls her eyes, "for good reason. I kept him in check, mostly. Magic just changed everything."

"Huh," He narrows his eyes, "well, that's the closest I've gotten."

"Noted." Uma takes a deep breath as the shadow of the temple falls on them, "well, guess this is where I suck it up and join the ranks of deal makers."

"It ain't that bad Umes," He grins, "my deals with Maleficent-"

Fuck he missed that cunt.

"-were always a fuck ton more stupid."

"Yeah," Uma grins far too sweetly for his liking before she wraps an arm around his waist, "guess I'll always have that to be angry over."

He looks away, "yeah well…"

Oh my god- Just spit it out.

He sighs, "I ain't complainin'."

Oh, for the love of- You are so stunted.

Me? Seriously? I ain't tellin' Uma it makes me happy when I piss her off. I'm over my death wish, thanks.

"I'll take it." She nods before she looks up at the temple, "can you please tell me this was a good choice?"

"Best and only." He offers honestly, "if you hadn't, I would've."

"Awww, is that all I am now? Best when I'm the only?"

"No-" He frowns as he looks down at her, "I meant the deal, it was for the best and like our only option." He grins, "but you are the best."

Hades pulls his shoulders back, "flattery huh? I could get used to that." He plops down on the stairs.

He snorts, "earn it."

"What in the Underworld does it look like I'm doing here, Firebug?"

"Honestly? Floundering."

"T!" Uma snaps in reprimand.

"What?" He grins lazily, "ain't my fault he asked."

Hades glares before he pointedly turns to face Uma, "well, fine then. I don't have to talk to you, I'm here for Momma Squid." He pulls a single piece of paper from his robes.

He rolls his eyes.

Infinitely old, yet still a baby.

He sticks out his tongue.

Oh, and you're just the paragon of maturity.

I know right, glad you finally-

That was clearly sarcasm, you tone-deaf oaf.

"Here you are, Momma Squid, one deal fully in your favor. No jargon, no workarounds; no clauses, no addendum. Just plan old, I will dutifully watch over Mim's book of nasty. I will not use said book. I will not use said book to cause harm to my daughter. Physically, mentally, emotionally, soul, or celestial. Nor will I do anything to your makeshift-" his nose crinkles in distaste as he fumbles, "whatever." He clutches the paper before he holds it out, "I ain't gonna harm kids. Good enough?"

Uma scowls before she lets out a heavy sigh and turns to him, "I want her to look it over."

He shrugs, "sure." He holds out his hand expectantly with a smug grin when the god places it in his hand with a grumble.

He slowly scans the page, pausing at the word family.

That's what he'd tripped on.

He lifts his brow at the sadness in Faustina's sigh.

What?

It's just-

She lets out another sigh.

-don't you remember how lonely we used to be? How much we yearned for acceptance? For love and affection that wasn't tainted? He's been alone for so long, rejected and abandoned. It just, it makes my heart hurt.

You remember he treated Deez like shit, right?

A Milena of solitude and defending oneself seems like a difficult trial to overcome. I'm not saying what he did was okay, or even acceptable. But he's an idiot.

Oh. Okay then. That's fair.

So, he flips the paper over to scrutinize the blank back, anything?

Not that I can see, no.

Perfect, he nods. "She says it's good to go."

"Ya know what, Momma Squid, you're a lot smarter than I gave you credit for. What with yer mom being who she is an' all." He rubs his chin, "But you? You know value and how to best direct it. I can respect that."

"Ha, no takesy backsies, you think I'm useful."

Hades sneers, "Oh Firebug, is that what I said?" He asks with a crinkled, condescending face.

"No, it's what you implied." He grins.

"Wrong! I was speaking of Arachne" Hades plants his fists on his hips.

He grins, "yeah, but who fucked up writing to you badly enough to have met her fucker, yeah. That's right. Me."

He looks away with a grumble, "fine, I guess you have some uses," he rolls his eyes, "mostly of the incompetent variety."

"As long as I'm useful," he shrugs.

Uma looks between him and Senior before she blinks and shakes her head. "Okay." She pulls a pen from her bag, "let me sign the thing, so we can meet up with the others. We've got work to do."

"Oh reeeeeeaaly? Work you say?" Hades perks up and scoots a few inches closer, "what kind?"

He grins, "we're hittin' their stores, figurin' out what the fuck they're doin', and hopefully spreadin' lies like wildfire."

Hades grins widely as he taps the tips of his fingers together, "ya know, I never got to be a distraction. And now with this off," he holds up his bare wrist, "I can be even more threatening."

He eyes the god curiously before he turns to Uma, "Umes-"

Uma looks up after signing her name, "what?"

"Cool if Senior tags along? It'd seriously benefit us. They ain't gonna be lookin' at jack shit if he's there."

"You?" Her eyes narrow as she turns to Hades, "you were bein' serious?"

"With you Momma Squid?" Hades spreads his arms wide, but pauses as if thinking before he rests his arms on the steps at his sides, "always, if that's what you want."

He watches as Uma stares at the god skeptically.

"Or if you're more into banter-" Hades gestures to him, "Firebug and I have something like that."

Uma's mouth slowly closes, "I'm good with honesty. How about we start there?"

"I can do that, maybe?" Hades taps a finger to his lips, "is it better to say I can try that?"

"Yeah, def would'ah been the better way to phrase it." He snorts.

"Well it's what I meant," Hades huffs before he turns back to Uma, "look, you're young an' bright and full of ideals," he tilts his head back and forth, "and sure, most of them have been nurtured by our resident muse, but they're still your desires. So here, I'll give it to you straight. Last time I got a chance to work with a hero, I messed up big time. This time, with you and that pack of hero types you have, I will try not to make the same mistakes."

"Huh," he turns to Uma curiously.

Aww, he's navigating this so well, I'm so proud of him.

He snorts. I dare you to say that in front of Umes.

Get nailed to a cross.

"And that's it? That's your only interest in this?" Uma crosses her arms over her chest.

"Nah," he shakes his head, "he left out the part where he's desperate to fuckin' do somethin' interestin'."

Hades slowly turns his head to face him, his frozen grin eerie, "thanks so much for that call out, Firebug."

"Hey man," he shrugs, "I endorse it." He turns to Uma, "seriously, Umes, he's tryin'."

"Am I a combination of worried and bored? Yes." Hades nods, "am I finding it unpleasant? Yes. Does that affect my respect for how you're standing up to Honey Bunny and his 'very deadly to mortals' army? No."

He nudges Uma before he turns back to Senior, "which is more important? Deez or out?"

"Well, technically speaking, if my Kitten would get this other cuff off, I could get us all off the Isle-"

"That didn't answer the question," Uma's scowl deepens as she crosses her arms, "and don't you dare ask that of her."

"Not like I could, even if I wanted to. I'm not welcome at your little Lord of the Flies camp, and she's still out." Hades sighs before he looks up, "least, that's the last thing I was told."

"She's still out cold." He frowns at his word choice and glances at Uma apologetically.

"Look, if you're asking if I'm willing to risk my daughter's life to save my own ass," Hades holds his hands up in an 'X', "no. No I am not."

He turns to Uma and frowns, "I get the doubt, but-" he turns to Senior with a glare, "so help me if you make me eat this," he turns back to Uma, "but I don't think he's bein' a dick."

"I am an asshole-"

"But also an asset." He interrupts him. He grins, "emphasis on ass, obviously."

Hades glares, "okay. Yes, I can be an asset. I could list all the reasons I'm down with doing this whole distraction thing, you two are mortals, and my daughter likes you."

"Tch, don't be like that, you know you do too."

Hades grumbles before he turns back to Uma, "It's just a distraction bit, right? How bad could I possibly mess that up," he turns again to stab his finger in the air between them, "so help me Firebug, not now."

He closes his mouth with a sigh.

Lame.

You aren't exactly helping either side-

Yeah, okay, cause you have a differing opinion-

It's called being diplomatic, you imbecile, and you are plain horrid at it.

He rolls his eyes.

Well, next time, conjure a better sibling.

He grins at her snort.

Uma turns her back on both him and Hades before she seems to stare off into the distance.

"We could always use help at the second camp," Uma says slowly, "I guess if we time it right, so that we get what we need from the first camp and then enter during a major distraction like the Isle's god on a rampage." She turns back to them, "you'll get this set up?" she asks as she eyes him.

"Of course Umes," he agrees easily.

She nods before she turns back to Senior, "and you're really willing to play distraction while we get in and out?"

Hades lazily salutes, "aye, Cap-E-Tain."

She glares at him with a scowl.

"Oh uh," Hades clears his throat, "what I meant was, yes Momma Squid. I am at your command."

"I'm not sure that's better," Uma sighs, shaking her head, "but whatever, I'll take it."

"Ah, it's a start." Hades grins as he holds out his hand for her, "last year you would have been torn over which was worse, not better."

Uma stares at the god's hand for a long moment before she groans, "don't make me regret this."

He lifts his brow at her tone before he pouts.

What's wrong?

That's my tone.

Jealous, dear brother?

He scowls.

Oh- She pauses, you're serious. She giggles, that's actually rather adorable.

Bite. Me.

Uma's hand is dwarfed by the god's as she reluctantly shakes his hand.

He grins at the awkward shake before he turns to pull out a map, "we're gonna be hittin' this camp-" He points to it on the map, "think you can give us ninety an' be an obnoxious prick?"

"Got it," Hades nods before he pushes himself up with a groan, "I can always get a head start on my headspace as a prick. " He presses a hand to his chest as he regally lifts his head into the air, "what's my motivation?"

He snorts, "how 'bout not losing the cunt as a pen pal? Or I don't know-" he looks towards Uma.

Hades huffs before he crosses his arms over his chest, "well obviously that's part of my real reason for doing this, but I'm about to act!" he groans as he waves them off and starts down the steps, "nevermind, I'll figure it out on the way."

His motivation could be anger at Shan Yu's complete lack of respect for his decree that he be left out of the squabble. He and his property.

"Tellin' Yu where to shove it for dickin' you off after he agreed not to fuck with you and yours?"

"Ah, now there's some believable motivation," Hades snickers as he turns back.

"Eh," he shrugs, "I try."

Her scoff makes him snort.

"Uh huh, tell her I said thanks."

Ha!

Shut it.

"See you later," Hades pauses as he waves over his shoulder, "actually, won't see you later."

He turns back to find Uma slowly shaking her head.

He frowns, "s'wrong?"

"Just-" she clicks her tongue, "still strange."

He tilts his head, "what is?"

"This," she gestures around as she follows Hades down.

"Eh," he shrugs as he walks beside her, "he's at least fun. Your mom was a slave driver and Maleficent was too easy."

"You sure his distraction won't cause problems?"

"Honestly Umes-" He pauses, "I've got no idea, never worked with him like this before."

Why!?

Uma's back stiffens as her foot hovers over the final step.

"But he ain't gonna make it worse."

"Thank you." Uma turns and holds her hand up, "no, no. Don't say anything else. Just let me walk away, knowing he won't make it worse on purpose. I need this."

"Kay," he nods, "if it helps, at least it's gonna be entertaining." He grins lazily.

Uma's hands flex before she turns on her heel and walks away.

"Umes?" He frowns, "Umes!?"

"Keep up."

"Ya know, for a moment I thought you were 'bout to pull out your whip." he chuckles.

"For a moment," Uma continues evenly, "so did I."

He grins at her tone, "fair."

You might, quite literally, be the worst.

He hated this.

Waiting.

It felt like all he was doing was waiting.

Waiting for Deez to wake up.

Waiting for them to be done with Shan Yu.

Waiting for Uma, Harry, T, Faustina, and the others to return.

It sucked.

He sighs, but-

He grins as his eyes land on the small boy sitting next to him.

He didn't hate introducing carving to-

His brow furrows.

What was Daniel to them?

He wasn't the first kid they'd rescued. He wasn't even the youngest.

He was just the youngest they'd seen outside their crew in weeks.

So-

He tilts his head, what made Daniel different?

He watches the boy as he slices off a sliver of wood cautiously, happy the boy understood his instruction.

It was a nice distraction from the thoughts warring in his mind.

Daniel frowns before he turns and holds his thin stake up.

He tilts his head, "that's… concerning-ly pointy."

The boy huffs before he offers it to him and then stands up, holding up a finger as he walks over to the hammock he claimed.

He frowns as he watches the boy curiously, before his eyes widen, and he scrambles to his feet.

He'd been hesitant over letting such a young kid use one of his knives, worried he'd hurt himself-

But he'd clearly underestimated the boy.

"Whoa," he frowns at the small child now brandishing a short sword. "Where the hell-"

His eye twitches.

What the fuck had T been thinking?

Daniel pouts before he shrugs.

He blinks, did this kid just-

"Oh no, we do not lie for T in this family." He states firmly.

How?

How did T manage it so quickly?

How did the kid, who gave away nothing, always manage to get others to trust him so quickly?

He sighs, already knowing the answer.

After all, he'd fallen for the Shadow.

Daniel tilts his head to the side as he resumes his seat on the floor beside him before he reclaims his project.

He shakes his head, "lil liar," he snorts.

Daniel's jaw drops before his eyes widen and his bottom lip quivers.

Oh shit.

"No, wait, sorry-" He quickly spits out, "I was just teasing, you're not in trouble- I mean you really shouldn't lie- But I ain't mad." He waves his hands in front of him, "promise."

Daniel sighs before he nods.

He sighs in relief as he settles between Daniel and Deez.

Seriously though? This kid was like a mini-version of T, it was concerning.

And, if he were being honest?

Cute.

Daniel picks up his stake before he points to the short sword and then gestures with two fingers slowly coming together before he holds the stake up again.

He studies the boy for a moment before he furrows his brows, "are you try'na carve a weapon?"

Daniel grins before he points to the sword and then repeats the finger motion.

Huh.

His eyes narrow. What was he-

Oh.

"Ya wanna make a small sword?"

Daniel's eyes light up as he nods before he passes him the stake and then holds out the knife.

He chuckles, "alright, alright." he takes the blade, "wanna copy me? Or watch?"

Daniel points to his eyes.

At least that one was easy to translate. "Got it."

Daniel grins before he scoots closer and climbs into his lap.

He smiles, glad the kid wasn't still afraid of him. "Kay, so ya got the shape right, we jus' gotta thin it." He explains as he starts carving.

He couldn't help but be impressed by how focused the kid was.

"Huh," he tilts his head. "Daniel?"

The boy shifts to look up at him.

He studies his green eyes for a minute curiously.

Everything about them was painstakingly familiar. "It's kinda weird, ya know, how similar you are ta Angel an' T."

Daniel grins as he tilts his head to the side.

"Oh?" He chuckles, "you, Little Demon, are gonna be nothin' but trouble."

The boy shrugs.

He snorts, "oh god, don't be proud of that. Ain't anyone needin' a mini-T."

Daniel's grin widens before his eyes do.

He drops the blade in his hand as Daniel jumps from his lap, frantically waving his arms back and forth as he shakes his head.

"Daniel?" He rolls to his knees.

Shit. What the hell did he do?

He glances at the cave entrance with a frown, as if he could will one of the others back. "What's wrong?"

Daniel pants as he puts two fingers together to form a cross before continuing to shake his head and flap his hands in front of him.

"Alright, alright," He holds up his hands, "not like T? That's what you're sayin' right?"

Daniel nods.

"Kay…" He says slowly, genuinely confused. "That's fair, don't think we could handle another one."

Daniel pouts.

He tilts his head as his confusion grows. "Ah-" He pauses, "so jus' a lil' troublemaker then?"

Daniel nods before he pauses and pouts again.

He frowns, "T is too…" He offers carefully.

Daniel frowns before he rushes back to him and presses his hands over his lips before he points to Deez and then jumps in the air with one hand above his head.

"I-" he frowns, "sorry," he sighs, "I don't- Uh…" his eyes narrow as he tries to decipher the miming.

He rubs his head. "Sorry."

Daniel huffs before he points to Deez again.

"What about Tr-Deez?"

Daniel nods before he jumps in the air, his arm still above his head with his hand palm down.

"Big Deez?" his brow furrows as he looks between Daniel and his Treasure.

Daniel tilts his head but nods once, biting his lip, before he stands up taller and struts around the room as if he were arguing with someone.

He frowns, "Deez isn't like that…"

Daniel frowns, but perks up as he pulls one arm free of his shirt before squishing his hair flat on his head.

His eyes narrow.

Was he-

"Senior? Is that who you're talkin' 'bout?"

Daniel's eyes widen as he nods, only to once more rush over and cover his mouth with both hands.

He frowns as he furrows his brows, "you don't want me to talk to him?"

Daniel smiles in relief as he steps back and nods.

"Well, that's easy." He smiles as he ruffles Daniel's hair, "I don't like him."

Daniel pats his hand over his chest before he sighs.

His eyes narrow as he drops his hand to Daniel's wrist and pulls the boy to him, before he places a hand on his chest.

His eyes widen at the pounding, "did Senior-Did Senior do somethin' to you?"

Daniel shakes his head.

"So, you don't want me to talk to Senior 'bout you bein' like T?" He questions slowly, trying to string the boy's actions together.

The frantic beat under his hand pounds harder before Daniel claps his hands over his mouth again.

"Hey now," He frowns, "it's okay, we never talk, I promise I won't say nothin'." He offers.

But he was going to talk to the others about it.

Daniel sighs and nods before he wraps his arms around his neck.

He sighs as he hugs the boy gently.

Whatever the fuck Senior had done-

He was sure even T would be pissed about it.

Daniel slowly pushes back until he can see his grin. He tilts his head one side to the other as he holds his fingers up, pinching them so close he could barely see any space between, before he crosses his fingers again and finally points to himself.

"So you can admit you're at least a little like T?"

Daniel nods happily before his face turns serious and he covers his mouth.

"I mean, I won't say it, but-" He pauses, "kinda hard to miss."

Daniel's breath quickens as he frowns, one hand lifting into the air before he slowly lowers it, his thumb sticking out.

"Woah now," His eyes widen, "it's okay, T ain't that bad he wouldn't-"

His eyes narrow.

Why the fuck-

"Did- Did Senior threaten you?"

Daniel slams his hands over his mouth again.

What. The. Fuck.

He knew Senior was a prick-

But to threaten a kid?

A fucking child hardly older than a baby?

"Okay. Okay-" He pulls Daniel to him, "but why?"

Daniel points to himself and then makes a 't' again.

"Because he wasn't patient enough to deal with both o' ya?"

Daniel shakes his head.

"Alright," he frowns, "if that ain't it-" He pauses as Daniel looks at him with guppy eyes.

He sighs, "I don't like it-"

Daniel's eyes widen before he gestures to himself in exasperation.

"You."

He repeats the motion before he shakes his head.

"Oh," he frowns, "you're not happy 'bout it either?"

Daniel grins as he holds a thumb up.

He frowns, yeah, he was definitely talking to Uma about this later, and his Angel. "Kay," he sighs, "now that we're on the same page-" he settles Daniel in his lap again, "let's make ya a blade T'll be jealous of."

Daniel tilts his head to the side before he grins and settles his back to his chest.

He chuckles as he picks up his knife and the wood, "let's get this done 'fore they get back."

Harry's eyes widen when the ground trembles.

No!

Hell no, not a-fucking-gain.

Was the Isle seriously going to try again?

He grabs Uma, but before he can rush them to cover, he hears a booming voice.

"This is unacceptable."

He rolls his eyes as his fingers loosen around Uma's arm.

Senior.

Whatever he'd done to make his entrance still had the walls of the storehouse vibrating.

"I demand to speak to whoever is in charge of this pathetic excuse of a, what the fuck are you? What is this? Never mind, just realized, I don't care. You! Stop running and get me someone important to you."

Uma nods to him before she turns back to inspect the bags.

Right.

Food.

He grabs the bag of rice he'd found and tosses it over his shoulder.

They'd only scavenged two trips at the last camp, hopefully with this distraction they'd get more time.

He waits for Uma to grab a bag before slipping to peek out the door.

It was chaos.

People running into buildings.

Out of them.

But, just like last time, no one seemed to dare approach this building, save for the two guards they'd already knocked out.

"Clear, but still be ah stickin' ta shadows."

"Duh."

He takes a deep breath before letting out a sigh. That was fair, his Captain knew better than to draw attention to herself-

But he couldn't help himself.

He was worried and, though he'd never say it out loud, scared.

"Oh, no. Just, no. You have gotta be fuckin' kidding me! You're in charge here? No, not important enough. Someone tell me where Shan is right now! I demand to know why I have been brought into this petty squabble."

Uma nudges him, and they take off, running for the hole in the fence where they knew Big Murph would be waiting.

The ground shakes again before something whizzes over their heads, making them drive towards the fence with their bundles.

"Shit. Who pissed the god off?"

He looks over his shoulder, confused, until he realized the huge fire in the middle of the camp was no longer there, instead several buildings were on fire.

Senior seemed intent on destroying the camp.

"Long story, but for now, just know he's workin' with us." Uma grumbles as she shoves her bag through the hole and pushes herself up, "I hope."

He grimaces as he shoves the sack of rice towards the waiting hands before rushing to catch up with Uma.

They all hoped.

And sea gods help them all, because Senior might end up being the only reason they survived this war.

Fuck, the last part of this chapter was intense, poor Hook is terrified out of his mind, not that I can blame him. Having a rampaging ten foot tall celestial being with the emotional capacity of a toddler in their terrible two phases sounds scary.

Super pleased they're grabbing supplies, though. Shit's getting scarce at the cove-

Sorry if it isn't a huge thing we cover, but there's so much to cover-

Legit though, their rations are getting smaller by the day, and Uma can only be in so many places at once.

That interaction between Daniel and Gil though!

Wasn't it fucking adorable?

Dead.

That convo between T and Umes.

I truly can't remember a time where T has been pissed at her, but for the love of god, if you know differently don't hesitate to let us know!

We've written too many fucking versions of this to keep track of…

Anyways-

Hope you enjoyed the chapter!

Much love and appreciation
