Lincoln was sitting on a rooftop watch the cars go by
he just completed a bounty and had enough money for toga's school supplies
and no one knew anything about him still
that's how good he is at his job
his ear twitched as he heard someone running up the building
the person landed behind him
"all might." Lincoln said (those higher ups who manage the heroes must've sent him.)
"ace savy." All might said
"I thought I would encounter you at some point." Lincoln said putting his fists up "well let's do this."
"before we begin I would like to thank you for catching those corrupt heroes." All might said "you have my respect."
"you too but not as a warrior but as a hero." Lincoln said "let's see if you can earn the former."
The two clashed and Lincoln immediately realized he was out of his depth on his own
he immediately had his worm spit out his power up box and he hit the mushroom button
a mushroom popped out and he ate it growing larger and stronger
"TEXAS SMASH!" All might yelled as he tried to punch Lincoln
but Lincoln dodged and immediately pulled out playful cloud from his worm's mouth and smacked him with it
"not bad!" All might said "but can you keep up!?"
"I hope I can!" Lincoln yelled as the two began to run down the building
"MISSOURI SMASH!" All might yelled as he tried to chop at Lincoln
Lincoln barley managed to avoid the chop before striking again with playful cloud hitting all might in the chin
(if I lose my power up I will have limited options to keep up!) Lincoln thought to himself
the two landed in the street with onlookers pulling out their phones and recording the battle
"DETROIT SMASH!" All might yelled as he was about to punch Lincoln
Lincoln hit a button on his box to access his starman making him temporarily invincible in order to stop him from losing his power up
he then grabbed all might by the collar and dragged him through the ground before ending up in a clearing
"there now we don't have to worry about civilians!" Lincoln said
"you care a lot!" All might said "I'm sure you could've became a great hero!"
(still can) Lincoln thought to himself
the two continued their battle with news crews recording the battle
Lincoln grabbed on to all Might but all might began to spin
"OKLAHOMA SMASH!!" All might yelled as he slammed Lincoln into the ground causing him to lose his power up
(shit I don't have my power up!) Lincoln thought to himself (I gotta save my stopwatch in case I need to escape!)
he accessed his power up box and hit the double cherry button
a double cherry came out and he ate it gaining a copy of himself
both him and the copy began to wail on all might with playful cloud
all might then tried to do a back hand punch only for it to be blocked by playful cloud
"such a unique tool!" All might said
"thanks." Both Lincolns said
Lincoln managed to break away as the double cherry clone began to hit all might with playful cloud once more
"CAROLINA SMASH!" All might yelled as he hit the double cherry clone with a cross chop
the double cherry clone disappeared in a puff of smoke
(shit I'm running out of options!) Lincoln thought to himself
"I think it's time I ended this!" All might said
"yeah!" Lincoln said as he hit the metal cap button on his box
he put on the metal cap and his body turned to metal
"UNITED..." all might began as the two charged at each other
"STATES..."
"OF.."
"SMASH!!!" All might yelled as their two fists collided
their collision created sparks in the air, trees were broken and the ground cracked under them
soon the impact broke the metal shell around lincoln's body
his worm then spat his hammer in All Might's face causing Lincoln to win the clash
"it's over!" Lincoln yelled as he grabbed the hammer and sent all might upwards with it
he then jumped in the air and slammed all might back down to the ground
but then all might yelled
"NEW HAMPSHIRE SMASH!!"
He punched the air causing him to be sent upwards hitting Lincoln directly in the ribs
Lincoln coughed up some blood before he remembered something
(Lynn don't fail me now!) Lincoln thought to himself as he grabbed all might and began to spin
the two crashed into the ground
after a few minutes Lincoln and all might slowly got up
"I think we'll call it a draw." Lincoln said to which all might nodded
Lincoln then noticed all might was steaming
literally.
he then put his hand on all might's shoulder and activated his stop watch
"all might... that was magnificent... I will remember you for as long as I live." Lincoln said "stand proud you are strong."
before all might could say anything he took his hand off him causing him to be affected by the stop watch
lincoln then grabbed his things and left the scene
when time resumed Lincoln was long gone
"all might!" A news reporter said "where's ace savy?"
"he got away." All might said "but I feel like he shouldn't be a problem."
but all might was thinking to himself
(I need to find a successor like him.)
with Lincoln he was injured but alive
slowly but surely he went back to his warehouse where toga was waiting for him
"bro! You picked a fight with all might?!?" Toga asked
"yeah it ended in a tie." Lincoln said before his worm spat out a blood bag "for you."
"thanks." Toga said before drinking it like a juice box "why didn't you use your blade?"
"because I didn't want to kill the guy." Lincoln said as toga began to patch him up
All might vs Ace savy ends in a draw?!?
the number one hero All might and the vigilante Ace savy had an incredible battle tonight with the two being close with their strengths
when asked about this the number one hero had this to say
"Ace savy is truly a mystery but he had a heart of gold and a will of steel! I haven't had such a battle in a long time!" -All might after his battle with Ace savy

yeah it's almost like he was using power ups from a video game but even without them he still kept up a bit

and that weapon he was using it took a punch from all might! I would love to see what it's made of!
"Looks like the battle ended in a draw." Dr. Garaki said
"I need that power." All for one said "for such a power to keep up with all might it must be mine!"
"as soon as we find out where Ace savy lives we will send people to grab him." Dr. Garaki said "after we take his quirk I could use his body for a nomu."
"once they are ready." All for one said "tomorrow send some villians in order to draw him out and have another secretly follow him."
"yes sir." Dr. Garaki said
all for one laughed
"with that power the world will be mine." All for one said "and no one will stop me!"
The next day
"Wow Lincoln you're trending!" Toga said showing him her phone
"well then I guess I am." Lincoln said before getting up "I'm gonna get us dinner."
"Lincoln you're still injured!" Toga said
"I'll be fine." Lincoln said "keep an eye on the place."
after leaving he heard a voice in his head
"congratulations on having a tie against the number one hero." Torii said
"hello torii." Lincoln said "any idea when I can go home?"
"once you gain proper recognition." Torii said "but there's a part of you that doesn't want to go."
Lincoln chuckled
"you're right." Lincoln said "at least not permanently once I get some proper recognition I'll pay them a visit."
"very well young loud." Torii said "I wish you the best of luck."
Lincoln then grabbed his and toga's food
on his way back however, he heard tiny footsteps
he considered grabbing his weapons but thought it best to see the situation out
then out of the alleyway ran a silver haired little girl with red eyes
she had bandages all over her arms and she was wearing a dirty cloth dress that reeked of blood
"p-please help me!" The girl said tears streaming down her face
"from what?" Lincoln asked
then a man stepped out of the alley way
he had a red bird mask and was wearing a green jacket
"ah you found my daughter." The man said "sorry she has a tendency to run off."
Lincoln didn't buy that for a minute
"mind giving her back to me?" The man asked
"...so what you can hurt her some more?" Lincoln asked
the man sighed
"I was looking forward to having this done with no mess." The man said as he took off his gloves
Lincoln then did the only logical thing:
kick him in the balls
"back off you creep." Lincoln said before running off with little girl in tow
he then took her to a police station
after he explained the whole situation the cops sent out a squad while taking Eri to a hospital
"so the man threatened you?" The officer asked
"yup." Lincoln said "I think his quirk involves his hands."
"well we'll try to find the man who matches your description." The officer said
then a doctor entered the room
"hello sir." The doctor said "we have figured out some things about the girl."
"like what?" The officer asked
"her name is Eri and her quirk is considered that of an O.P.C." The doctor said "she can rewind anything organic to a previous state."
"anything about her family?" The officer asked
"nothing yet." The doctor said
the officer then turned to Lincoln
"hey young man. How would you feel about taking in Eri." The officer said
"I can do that?" Lincoln asked
"since she's an O.P.C the rules are different since her quirk is so dangerous." The officer said "anyone who can and is willing to is able to adopt an O.P.C."
"well I have experience." Lincoln said
"good what's your name?" The officer asked
"Lincoln loud." Lincoln said while thinking (thank you bingo for the documents.)
"alright I'll get the paperwork and the payments ready and contact the O.P.C.D." The officer said before leaving the room
"what is my life?" Lincoln asked himself
later
when Eri woke up she was in a hospital bed
for a moment she thought she was back and it was just a dream
but then she realized it was a lot cleaner
then the door opened and in walked the man who saved her
"hey Eri." Lincoln said "my name is Lincoln and I'm going to be taking care of you."
"huh?" Eri asked genuinely confused as to why someone would do that
"yup! You're gonna be free from that bird man!" Lincoln said while thinking (especially once I put him 6ft under)
"but why?" Eri asked
"why what?" Lincoln asked
"I'm a curse!" Eri said "all I will do is hurt people!"
"who told you this?" Lincoln asked
"the bird man." Eri said
(he better hope the police find him before I do.) Lincoln thought to himself "Eri.. what he said isn't true you are not a curse."
"r-really?" Eri asked
"really." Lincoln said "you deserve the same things as anyone else."
suddenly...
"I AM HERE!" All might yelled bursting through the door
(SHITSHITSHITSHIT) Lincoln thought to himself praying that the number 1 hero wouldn't recognize him
"w-who are you?" Eri asked
"I am the number one hero: All Might!" All might said "I have been tasked with watching you until the villain has been caught!"
"anything on him?" Lincoln asked
"we may need to leave the room for this." All might said
they left the room
"all right spill it." Lincoln said
"the man who had Eri is known as overhaul he's the current leader of the yakuza." All might said "what he did to Eri is unknown but we need to hear it from her in order for us to do anything."
"alright." Lincoln said
he opened the door and walked towards Eri
"Eri I'm gonna need you to tell me what overhaul did to you." Lincoln said
Eri looked scared
"it's just to catch the man who did this to you." Lincoln said "you don't have to if you don't want to."
"o-okay. I'll do it." Eri said
30 minutes of trauma later
Lincoln was (understandably) pissed
"all might you better catch him before I murder his ass lack of a quirk be damned." Lincoln said when they were outside the room
"I understand that you're angry but these things take time." All might said
"fine let me call my sister." Lincoln said before pulling out his phone and calling toga
"Lincoln what did you?" Toga asked
"I'm in the hospital but it's not for me." Lincoln said
"then who is it for?" Toga asked
"...how do you feel about becoming an aunt?" Lincoln asked
"...WHAT?!?"
"So you're telling me you found this little girl, saved her from this extremely evil guy and now we have to go into witnesses protection because that guy was the leader of the yakuza?" Toga asked when she got there
"that's the gist of it." Lincoln said
toga smacked him on the head
"dumbass!" Toga said
"hey I couldn't do anything!" Lincoln said
"ugh fine at least we won't be living in a warehouse." Toga said
"want to see your niece?" Lincoln asked after a moment of silence
"of course I want to see my niece!" Toga said
(I wonder if my sisters would react this way when i would've had kids) Lincoln thought to himself as they entered the room
"hey there Eri!" Toga said "I'm your auntie toga!"
"awuntie?" Eri asked
"yup!" Toga said
"as touching as this is." Lincoln said "we need to get ready to leave soon."
"right!" Toga said
after they got Eri out of bed and into a car the agent with them decided to tell them about the situation
"all might will call you once the raid is over you will not be able to leave witness protection until it is safe." The agent said
"fine by me." Lincoln said
soon they arrived at the safe house
"go make yourself at home." The agent said
they went inside and the house was decently sized
"come on Eri let's go see your room." Lincoln said
they entered the room and it was decently sized
Eri was stunned
all of this was for her?
but she was a curse she was just gonna hurt more people
but the she remembered what Lincoln said
"you deserve the same things as anyone else."
while Eri was thinking about all of this Lincoln was trying to figure out how to help Eri
(well I've heard of people having service animals) Lincoln thought to himself (I know I'll use my worm as a temporary one!)
he then kneel down to Eri
"hey Eri want to see something cool?" Lincoln asked
Eri snapped out of her trance and looked at him
"don't worry it's not gonna hurt you." Lincoln said
with some hesitation eri nodded
then Lincoln's worm became visible to Eri
(it's so ugly... I kind of like it.) Eri thought to herself while looking at the strange creature
"he's pretty cool right?" Lincoln asked
Eri nodded
"come on let's get you something to eat." Lincoln said "how do you feel about apple slices?"
later that night
Lincoln was sitting in his new room waiting for a call
he had put Eri to bed and toga was watching tv in the living room
then his phone rang
"hello." Lincoln said
"Lincoln it's all might." All might said
"did you get him?" Lincoln asked
"no but he's on the run now. I would recommend staying inside with Eri." All might said "we did get most of his group however."
"gotcha." Lincoln said before hanging up
he put on his mask
he wasn't going to stand still
no, he was gonna commit a murder.
and he was going to make it hurt.
that's it for now
the only reason why it was a tie was because Lincoln had his power up's and all might wasn't In his prime
if those weren't factors Lincoln would have gotten the crap kicked out of him
