Meanwhile at the department, Kiriko told everything to detective Desca about the murder case. She explained everything about the top secret as the death of Mercy and Jesse. Desca believes the whole case as she closes it. Kiriko walks out from the department with a sad look on her face. She looked up towards Junker as she gives her a big hug to cheer up from being sad.

Yeah… just so sad about Mercy and Jesse.

Kiriko warmly smiled at Junker with sympathy and kindness. The two of them headed back home as they hold hand's together. During that night, a funeral is about to begin of the memorial of Jesse. Detective Desca sat next to Mark since he wrote a speech out for Jesse. Everyone took their seats as they pay their tribute to Jesse.

Mark stood up and walk towards the podium as he reads out his lines for the memorial of Jesse.

Jesse was one of the toughest heroes of all times here in the front line of Overwatch. He was a good at aiming for his own practice, until he met his partner Genji. The two of them had a perfect relationship as a couple. Suddenly Soldier 76 jumped out from the coffin and points his gun towards Mark by shooting him through his head. The whole crowd screamed in horror as the memorial becomes a massacre of a killing spree. Detective Desca took one look at Soldier 76 and realised that he was the one who murdered Genji.

He sprinted off quickly as the police came to stop Soldier 76. He takes them down by shooting at them one by one, detective Desca tries to find Soldier 76 by hunting him down. Soldier 76 steals a car for a grand theft and drives off from the massacre.

Desca tries to shoot the stolen car from Soldier 76 as she was too late to stop him. Soldier 76 drives through the long road distance from town, he turns his head to the right from his friend DV.a sitting next him. It was just his imagination from seeing DV.a, he feels kinda guilty after all of the bad things that did to Genji and wishing that would never do it again.

He parks the car outside of a diner as he walks inside as he looks around. He takes a sit as the waitress approaches him.

Soldier 76 orders a coffee as he refresh himself. He then took some pills to calm his mind down after the memorials killing spree. he leaves the tip on the counter as he walks into the bathroom. He turns on the tap water by washing his face. He looks towards the mirror and sees the Reaper right behind him in his imagination.

That wasn't just a cure, it's death made by the devil himself.

Soldier 76 reveals the label and didn't realise that he took cyanide pills. The fear is running down on Soldier 76 as he starts to sweat in madness as he starts to collapse onto the floor. His starts to go blurry and died. Within a few hours later at the diner as the body was been found in the men's restroom.

Detective Desca arrived at the scene as they begin to witness a dead body found lying around the men's restroom. She remembers Soldier 76 from the memorial massacre that was taken place, she remembers him where he killed Mark by putting a bullet through his head. And now she has found a long with cyanide pills.

Did he killed himself?

Yeah, he literally did.

They took his body placed him inside the body back as they drive off back to the department. 2 weeks later after the case was closed for good, detective Desca came by to the cemetery as she places the flowers on Mark's grave. She wipes off her tears until Kiriko came by for a visit.

You okay?

It's okay, I'm fine… I just miss Mark so much.

The two of them have long conversations. They didn't talk about Soldier 76, but they also talked about Jesse and Mercy. Kiriko feels like she wanted to see them again after they died from the horrific event. Kiriko left the cemetery as she waved goodbye to Desca, before she leaves the cemetery. Desca sees a butterfly landing on Mark's grave, she smiles brightly on her face while the butterfly flies away.

Mark will always be in a better place along with Jesse and Mercy, they live peacefully in the high clouds.
