WEISS

Beacon was wrapped in flames.

Ozpin fell to his knees as he looked around himself. His academy had collapsed, reduced to rubble and ruin. Grimm roamed the shattered walls and corridors. White Fang prowled the opened grounds.

His own students had turned traitor, siding with the Grimm and joining in the destruction.

And in front of him, tilting his dirtied, bloody chin up by the tip of her blade, was Weiss Schnee, now bearing the mark of Salem as she stood amidst the fire and wore a look of triumph on her face.

"I must... admit, Ms Schnee," Ozpin croaked out through his broken tears and clogged throat, "I... underestimated you."

"Well, that's fine," Weiss shrugged with a smile, "Most people do."

All his former students had surrounded him now. From Coco to Blake to Ruby Rose. Even his former staff, from Port and Oobleck to even Glynda Goodwitch, stood amongst the ranks of the traitors, surrounding him at all sides.

"...How... how did you do it?" Ozpin shook tearfully, unable to comprehend this level of tragedy, this kind of mass betrayal as he spoke, looking up at the victorious girl before her, blade still at his throat, "All of them... all my students, all my friends... how did you turn them all against me?"

Weiss barked out a laugh, sharp and mocking, and looked at Ozpin like he was lowly trash, something so insignificant that he almost didn't register to her at all.

"It was easy, Ozpin. Mockingly so. Allow me to tell you..."

"Join me in destroying all of Beacon and I'll give you a 401K payment plan and workers benefits."

"...Yeah, okay," said one of the Huntsmen in the crowd that stood before Weiss Schnee, "I feel like that's not enough incentive for us to turn traitor against all of Remnant."

"You'll get a pension plan and insurance coverage."

"Again, I feel like this isn't enough for us to consider turning against everything we've ever known and all the people we've ever loved and-"

"You'll also get free dental."

"-And as I was saying, where do I sign up?"

"...Seriously?"

"Yep."

"That was all it took?"

"That was all it took."

Ozpin looked to the crowd of former students who were all currently flashing him sheepish smiles with pearly white, sparklingly clean teeth, "Are you kidding?"

"I mean-"

"401K payment plan!"

"Yeah, and insurance!"

"Plus dental!"

"Yeah, dental!"

"Can't forget the dental!"

"But- but I promised all that too!" Ozpin protested at the former students-and-staff's words.

"...No you didn't."

"Yes I did! In the brochure!"

Weiss then pulled out the brochure from their pockets, carefully examined all its pages, and then looked back at Ozpin and flashed it to him, "It says here, 'You're probably all going to die before you hit twenty anyway, so who gives a fuck about paying you all'?"

"...Well it's true," Ozpin shrugged. He then saw Glynda standing in the crowd and said to her, "You too?"

Glynda shrugged, "Maternity leave and thirty-day paid vacation. She also promised not to push all the paperwork onto me, unlike someone."

"Well who else is going to do it?"

"You... because it's your job."

"I have important business to attend to, you know this!"

"What, throwing out cryptic phrases while sipping from that damn mug of yours?"

"...Yes."

Glynda turned to Weiss, "Please kill him before I do."

"Gladly."

"Ah shit-" Weiss then cut off Ozpin's head.

"Well then," Weiss smiled, "I've heard that pizza parties are appropriate for a job well done."

The whole former student and staff body cheered. Pizza parties! That was never in Beacon's brochures!

You'd be amazed at what people will do for a decent paycheque.
