Here's the new chapter of Clone Underground Resistance story. We'll be seeing how the meeting will go ended up. Hope you all enjoy the new chapter.

It is nighttime on Pandora. The streets of the district on Pandora are empty. The only building that seems to still have any sign of life is a tea parlor. Inside the parlor are the two Senators, Riyo Chuchi of Pandora and Avi Singh of Raxus having a secret meeting.

Howzer is keeping watch over the balcony with both Samson and Greer inside the building as security. Nemec along with Rex guarding the two Senators along with Chuchi's personal guards. Inside the room is Chuchi and Avi along with GS-8. Avi RA-7 protocol droid.

Chuchi poured tea in a cup as she passes to Avi "Want some tea, Senator Singh? You came a long way after being away from Raxus." Asked Chuchi.

Avi took the cup "Yes, I appreciate the hospitality." Said Avi as he takes a sip "When Captain Rex told me you wanted to see me. I was actually surprised. For someone like you asking to see me, someone from the opposite side of the Clone War."

"I understand what you mean. We both were on opposing sides during the war. However, we both share something in common. Our disliking towards the Empire and it's growing occupation."

"That's something we all could agree on." Said GS-8 with a feminine voice "The Empire are not only occupying former Separatists worlds. We also heard that they're also occupying former Republic worlds."

"Yes, and I fear my world would soon fall under the Empire's jurisdiction as well." Said Chuchi with a grim tone, before she went on "Which is why I asked Captain Rex to meet with you. By forming an alliance against the Empire."

Avi Singh looked at Chuchi surprised, a former Republic Senator asking a former enemy to join forces? GS-8 spoke first "An alliance, Senator Chuchi? Why would want to ask my master to form an alliance? Especially when you're under the thumb of Emperor Palpatine." Said GS-8.

"The same reason your master believes. I couldn't just stand by and watch the Empire take control of Pandora. Not when the government is rotten to the core." Said Chuchi as she tells them her reason's "That is why I want to form an alliance."

"I admire your courage, Senator Chuchi. Unfortunately, you can see I'm a fugitive. Wanted by the Empire for disobeying their terms." Avi told Chuchi.

"Not as long there are those who are still loyal to you." Said Chuchi before she went on "Which is why I have proposal."

Outside the room Rex is still guarding with Nemec by his side. He pressed his helmet "Howzer, how are things out there?" Asked Rex.

"The streets are quiet. Not to mention empty. But no sign of any Imps." Howzer responded.

"What about Samson and Greer?"

"Just checked on them. They reported that everything is quiet."

"Let's just hope it stayed that way. Rex out."

"Captain Rex?" A voice called to him.

Rex turned to see Senator Chuchi standing by the room entrance "Will it be alright if you spend some time? We would like to talk to you." Said Chuchi.

Rex was confused, he looked at Nemec who shrugged. Turning his head back to the Senator, Rex followed her inside. Once inside, Chuchi sits back down in her spot as she along with Avi and GS-8. Rex stood in the middle of the room.

"What exactly is it you want to talk about?" Rex asked them.

"Senator Singh and I have been talking and came to an agreement." Said Chuchi as Rex looked at her with confusion "About what exactly?" Said Rex.

"We agree to fund and support your network, in order to face against the Empire." Chuchi revealed.

This became a huge shock for Rex. The Senators can't see Rex expression behind his helmet. Rex looked at the two Senators "I… I don't understand…"

"We understand that we're dropping this news onto you out of nowhere, captain." Said Avi.

"But there's no one else we know who would able to." Said Chuchi.

Rex looked at them before turning his attention to Chuchi "Forgive me, Senator, but… the underground network is for helping and sheltering clones who defect from the Empire. Sure, I want nothing more than to fight back against them. But my men and I are too few to face such a large force." Rex told them.

"I understand your concern, Captain Rex. However, the Empire is occupying not just former Separatists worlds, but including former Republic worlds. Which is why we wanted to fund your network." Said Chuchi.

"And how can Senator Singh help with the network? Raxus is under Imperial jurisdiction."

"I decided to let Avi Singh and GS-8 to stay on Pandora." Chuchi revealed which made Rex look at her surprised "You're letting Senator Singh to stay on Pandora?" Rex questioned which Chuchi nodded "Forgive me for speaking out of terms… but you do realize that if the Empire finds out you're harboring a wanted fugitive. It won't end well." Rex warned her.

"It's the risk I'm willing to take. What say you, Captain Rex? What's your answer?"

Rex stayed quiet. He doesn't know how to respond. The underground network isn't an huge force, and they're too little to be an actual army than they were during the Clone War. However, deep down Rex wanted nothing more but to free his brothers and restore the one Republic he and his fellow clones had sacrificed for.

Looking at the Senators, he nodded his head "The underground network will be honored if you able to fund our operations, Senator Chuchi." Rex replied.

Chuchi gave the old captain a gentle smile "I am glad to help you and your brothers whatever I can." Said Chuchi as Avi looked at Rex "So do I, Captain Rex." Said Avi as both Senators giving their support to Rex and to his network.

Once the clones returned to the Rho-class shuttle, Samson takes control of the cockpit while Nemec and Greer talk among themselves. Howzer, however, walked up to Rex with something on his mind.

"Rex, are you sure leaving Singh with Senator Chuchi on Pandora is a good idea?" Howzer asked his fellow Captain.

"At the moment, no. If the Empire learns the Senator of Pandora is harboring Senator Singh, she'll be arrested for treason. But…" Rex looked at Howzer "I trust Senator Chuchi's decision. All we have to do is trust her judgment."

Howzer nodded in understanding "Alright, if you trust her. I'll trust her as well." Howzer then sat down by Rex as they headed back to Teth. With Rex thinking what future will hold for them.
