Author's Notes
Hey everyone! I hope everyone is having a Happy New Year! Thank you all for the continued support on this story. I greatly appreciate it.
I have edited the previous chapters, so they can be read more smoothly and be easier on the eye.
Also, the last chapter was a breather chapter, but we are getting back to the action.
I've gotten a review since the last time, so I will respond to it:
toluwalaseokunola328: Yes, it is! Bandana Dee will be playing an important role in this story as one of Kirby and Star's party members. He's one of my favorite characters in the Kirby series, and I feel that he could be in more stories. Thank you for your kind words and for reviewing!
Disclaimer: Kirby is owned by Nintendo and HAL Laboratory, Inc., and Star Vs. The Forces of Evil is owned by The Walt Disney Company. All I own is the story concepts and the OCs I created for this story.
Chapter 5: Cruising to the Ocean Planet, Thálassa! Goodbyes and Hellos Handed Out!
The seven defenders of many: Kirby, Dedede, Meta Knight, Bandana Dee, Star, Marco and Reiya were waiting for Taranza to return from Florilia.
Meanwhile, Marco and Reiya told King Dedede and Meta Knight everything about the Calajengs, and were told of the destruction of Megastar, the blue-haired girl's home planet.
"This is a lot to take in," stated the Great King.
"Indeed," chimed the Mysterious Knight, "From my battle with Jinshu, the Calajengs seem like they will do anything to turn the tide of the battle in their favor." This caused the masked knight to grip Galaxia's handle angrily just thinking of his fight.
Meta Knight continued speaking, "We're sorry for your loss, but overthinking of the past will get you nowhere. Just move forward."
"That's easier said than done, Meta Knight," said Dedede, "But, yeah, sorry for your loss."
"T-thank you…" whispered Reiya.
Star walked by Dedede, Meta Knight and Marco, cautiously holding her wand.
She took a deep breath.
"I'm sorry I caused Jinshu to attack Popstar…" "I just wanted to enjoy the breaking of spring with Marco."
"Star, I think-"
But Marco could not finish his statement as Dedede laughed, then said, "Don't be silly, Star, we had our conflicts with otherworldly intruders in the past, so this is nothing new for us."
Kirby, Meta Knight and Bandana Dee nodded in agreement, which allowed Star to sigh with comfort.
'Wait, how many intruders have there been towards Popstar?' thought Marco.
"Hey, Marco, were you saying something? I interrupted you," asked The Great King.
This snapped Marco back into reality.
"H-huh? No, no, it's alright. Thank you, Your Majesty."
"Anytime."
While that was going on, Taranza returned with great news. He was still wearing the extra red regal hat Dedede gave to him.
"Um, excuse me, everyone," Taranza said, getting the seven's attention. "I'm back from Floralia, and I have been granted permission to watch over Dream Land in the Great King's place. The People of the Sky will have no issue defending the six islands while I'm away."
That caused the seven heroes to smile.
Marco smiled, then spoke, "Well, that's good. I'm glad everything was settled in a quick fashion."
"When you guys complete the Lambent Amulets, what will you all wish for?" asked Taranza.
The seven defenders looked towards one another, then Kirby replied, "Let's wish back Megastar and all the civilians that lived there!"
Reiya's eyes widened upon hearing this.
"Why didn't I think of that?" Star and Marco thought out loud, then they looked at each other and laughed. Everyone else joined in, except Meta Knight.
"Are you guys sure?" asked Reiya.
"Of course!" stated Kirby.
"We don't know how many wishes we will get, but that should be our first priority," The Sword Fighter explained.
Everyone nodded in agreement.
"I don't know how I will repay all of you…" Reiya said.
Silence filled the air for a minute until…
"So, are we ready to go?" asked Bandana Dee.
"Wait, Star, what about your spell book?" asked Marco.
"Eh, it's probably best if we leave it on Earth… for now," replied Star.
"That's…probably not a bad idea, alright, let's go!"
The group of seven looked determined as it was now or never.
"And you remember who the Animal Friends are? Correct?" questioned Kirby to Taranza.
"Yes, of course, we have met a couple of times before," answered the spider mage.
Star was looking at her Lambent Amulet tracker, and Dedede looked as well, then requested, "So, where is our first destination, Star?"
The blonde princess made eye contact with the Great King, and replied, "Some planet called Thálassa, I've never heard of that place or been there before…"
"I can't say I've been there either."
Dedede then spoke to his group, "Alright, everyone, our first stop is to Thálassa!"
Star then grabbed her dimensional scissors, and teared a slit in the reality, "Good bye, Taranza! It was nice meeting you and Popstar!" Taranza just chuckled.
And with that, Star was the first to enter the dimensional portal. The other five members said goodbye to Taranza as well. Leaving none other than Kirby, who still had the right horn of the Amulet in his stomach. Who stared at the portal, then turned around to the spider mage.
"Tell the Animal Friends, I said hi!"
Taranza nodded, "I'll let them know."
Then a thought entered Taranza's head, "Oh, Kirby!"
The clumsy spider handed out three items for the pink hero.
"I brought back three Miracle Fruits to help you and the others out, the People of the Sky and I wanted to assist you in spirit. Please use them wisely!"
Kirby put the three Miracle Fruits in his stomach for safe keepings, smiled, then said, "Thank you, Taranza, this will help!"
"You're welcome!"
Suddenly Dedede popped his head out of the portal, and grabbed Kirby with his right arm, and shouted, "Come on Kirby! Time is ticking!"
The dimensional portal then closed, leaving Taranza alone.
'I hope they will all be okay…' thought the newly-appointed King.
Inside the base of Angkasa, Menyukai just finished sending the last of Jinshu's soldiers to a resting station.
She was running some tests on Kracko, Mr. Shine, Mr. Bright and the mini-bosses to see what they were capable of and how they could improve. It was all on a tablet.
The pink-haired maid was then greeted with another Battle Maid.
Her name is Kecuatan.
She has black hair and piercing red eyes. She is a bit taller than Menyukai and a bit older, but she wore a similar outfit to her comrade. She is known across the Calajeng Empire to take her job very seriously.
"Greetings, Menyuaki, I hope you are doing well," stated the black-haired woman.
"Kecuatan, hi!" "Everything is going well, Emperor Murka just recruited some new soldiers to our empire."
"So, I've heard," replied Kecuatan, "I just got back with His Greatness, and he told me everything. If those people on Megastar were wise, they would have surrendered instantly."
Menyuaki frowned upon hearing this, Kecuatan could be extreme at times.
"I suppose so…Is there anything you wanted to tell me?" asked the pink-haired maid.
"Yes, The Great One wanted me to look over the new recruits, while you try to heal Jinshu back to full health, among your other jobs across the empire. Honestly, I'm surprised that she made it in one piece considering the day she had." She spoke again, "Also, the other Permula Lieutenants are heading to Thálassa to recover a piece of the Lambent Amulet. "
"I understand, please take this…"
With that, Menyuaki gave Kecuatan the tablet with all the testing on it.
"Thank you," grunted the black-haired maid, "I'll make sure the fruits of your data will not go to waste…"
Menyuaki nodded, the two battle maids gave their goodbyes and headed on their respective ways.
'I just hope they survive their training from this point on…' thought Menyuaki as she walked away from the resting station.
The dimensional portal opened, and the group of seven arrived at their destination: Thálassa! The sky was clear of any clouds, but it had a salty smell. Not a trace of land to be found, however, there were large blue and white ships in the ocean. Including the one, the group landed on. The dimensional portal then closed.
The ocean was a greenish-blue ocean, and much larger than Earth's, it was peaceful. Was there life, who knows?
"It seemed a bit too quiet for my liking," stated Meta Knight. The blue knight then noticed something or somethings, it was the Calajeng spaceships.
"It would appear that the Calajengs have arrived as well," the knight calmly stated.
"How fast are their spaceships?!" asked Marco, "Are we close to the empire's capital?"
"I doubt it, I've never heard of this place," replied Reiya.
Before the group could discuss more about this, a spaceship appeared and dropped an army of soldiers and four Ceturuans, the mid-boss the group fought on Popstar. "Looks like we have company," growled Dedede as he readied his mallet.
The other six members got to their fighting positions, as the Calajengs were attacking the large ships.
Star shot out a miniature fireball from the Royal Magic Wand that exploded into fireworks then shouted, "Hey! Looking for us?!"
The Calajengs stopped for a second, then turned their attention towards the seven heroes, rushing towards them.
"Let's split up, to cover more ground," said Bandana Dee.
"Good idea, Bandana Dee!" said Marco, "I'll go with you."
As the brown-eyed duo went off together, Dedede went with Kirby, Star went with Reiya, and Meta Knight was all by himself.
'I can use this opportunity to improve myself,' thought the knight. He leaped towards his enemies with Galaxia in his hand.
The Karate Boy swung his arm, then his leg at some opponents, knocking them into the air as they fell into the mystery ocean. But, a small group of soldiers appeared from another spaceship to overpower the Latino American teen. Their efforts were in vain because Bandana Dee threw many spears at them before they could even land.
Which caused the soldiers to descend in the ocean.
Marco turned towards the orange idol, then said, "Thanks, Bandana Dee!"
"Glad, I could be of assistance…"
The brown-eyed friends were back to back as they continued fighting the Calajeng Empire's soldiers and the Ceturuan mid-boss.
(Line Break)
Meanwhile, with Kirby and Dedede, the duo were taking care of the combatants at Super Tuff Pink Puff was guarding for sword swipes from a Calajeng soldier, then he dodged as another soldier swung his mallet at Kirby.
The two soldiers collided as the pink hero inhaled them both and spit them as large stars out at the Ceturuan, who were trying their best to fight Kirby and Dedede.
Speaking of the portly penguin, The Great King would strike with his large hammer: swiftly, yet powerful. Causally, sending his rivals to the bottom of the sea. It was too much for the hostile party to handle.
Suddenly a ninja soldier appeared out of nowhere with a smoke bomb, Dedede eyed the soldier as he was charging his infamous attack, Dedede Hammer Flip, an attack that is very similar to Hammer Kirby's Hammer Flip. The king changed his position as his mallet caught on fire and attacked the ninja!
That poor soldier stood no chance.
Kirby kept his distance from the mid-boss, not out of fear, but strategy, as he spat out star projectiles when he got the chance. The Ceteuran couldn't do much, as it did not want to burn their comrades alive. Every time, he tried to get closer to one opponent, the other opponent would appear and cause havoc.
The attacks from the hero and the king were causing the Ceteuran to be on its last legs.
Finally, Kirby spat out a large star projectile as Dedede shouted around the same time.
"Dedede Hammer Throw!"
The Great King threw his hammer at the red giant scorpion at great speeds, which allowed the beast to be slayed.
Kirby wrapped things up as he super inhaled the remaining of the soldier fleet and spat it out as a very large star projectile at a spaceship.
The once hostile arch-enemies, now friendly rivals took no damage from either the soldiers or the mid-boss.
(Line Break)
With the Intergalactic Princess and Disgraced Leader of the Kaiju Slayers, things were going just as well from the Empire. In other words, not so good.
"Winterstorm Hyperblow!" shouted Star as a blast of frigid air froze her rivals, even freezing some soldiers who didn't even land on the ships yet. Their bodies dropped like flies into the ocean.
Then Reiya blew blue fire from her mouth to 'warm them up,' "Megastar's Hottest!
The Calajengs's bodies couldn't handle the extreme coldness and then the extreme hotness in the span of a couple of seconds. So, their physical forms exploded into small star bits.
"Nice job, Reiya!" complimented Star, "We've really shown them, huh?"
"Don't relax just yet, we still have the Ceteuran to deal with…"
The Ceteuran roared as if it was on cue.
"Of course, of course! Follow me!"
Star led the charge on the red giant, swinging her wand to dispatch the fireballs that headed the duo's way.
"Winterstorm Hyperblow!" Star yelled again, wondering if ice was the fire beast's weakness. Like in the video games she would play with Marco and his friends.
It was.
The Ceteuran was being covered in ice as the remaining soldiers tried their hardest to overcome the might of Star and Reiya. The mid-boss roared in agony.
Reiya shut the Ceteuran up with an uppercut to the jaw, then stepped back to deal with the small fries by the impact of her yo-yo. The icing was complete, as Star picked up the frozen body of the mid-boss and chucked it many meters. Mowing down hordes of Calajeng soldiers.
The red giant beast was doing their best to break out of the ice, but the Ceteuran was already under the sea. Its other weakness.
The two teenagers wrapped the battle up, with Star shouting, "Rainbow Blast!" As a colorful blast of hearts and winged bunnies appeared from the princess' wand. Sweeping up the rest of the army men.
The blonde girl and the blue haired girl shared a fist bump, then Reiya stated, "We should probably check on the others."
"I wholeheartedly agree!" beamed Star.
Then the two girls jumped from ship to ship in order towards their new friends.
On the coast of Thálassa, three mysterious figures were leading three small armies to find the next part of the Lambent Amulet.
This piece of amulet was the separated shadow dragon's weapon: a longbow.
The hi-tech looking buildings looked different from Megastar and Popstar, as they were completely empty.
"We should be close, hopefully the army we dropped off to stop Kirby, Star and their allies was enough," the first figure, with red hair and a yellow cape said.
"I doubt it, but any time is better than no time, what does the scanner say?" stated the second figure, resembling that of an android.
The third and final figure, who looked like a witch, cleared their throat, "It said it is the ocean, I also noticed a bunch of lifeforms down there."
"Nevermind that, let's not make Army E's lives be in vain," stated the caped figure.
"Right!" agreed the other two figures.
The mysterious figures were no other than the remaining Permula Lieutenants:
The red-haired girl with the cape is named Antei, leader of the subordinate.
The android's name is Kyōdaina, the tallest of the bunch; she had a mechanical eye and a normal one. Antei had stubs for feet like Kirby and two floating hands, and the witch was short and stubby as well.
Speaking of the short and stubby figure, her name is Inkra and she is a lost relative of Drawcia. With a witch hat and an artist coat to boot.
The three lieutenants of the Calajeng Empire, or the Calajeng Imperium for most people, went to work as they submerged under the water with their armies.
The Masked Swordsman dealt with the soldiers with ease with Galaxia in his hands. He sent multiple sword beams in different directions. He wasn't as strong as Dedede, but he was certainly faster.
He then summoned a Mach Tornado, which swept many of the Calajeng Fleet into the sky. The Knight leaped into the air to cut the soldiers down at the speed of sound.
Behind Meta Knight, was the Ceteuran mid-boss, as they jumped to strike the enigmatic swordsman down with their giant red claws.
The knight then used his Dimensional Cape to disappear out of existence… "Wait, where did he go?" questioned the Ceteuran as they began to descend towards the ground.
Before the red giant scorpion could react or land on the ground, Meta Knight did a series of quick and deadly attacks with his sword. He moved so fast that the mid-boss could not see the masked warrior. Thus ending the beast's life.
As the beast exploded into star bits, the Halberd's owner finished his fight with the army, with his unrivaled air and ground speed.
Meta Knight destroyed the last soldier, then stated, "Victory is my destiny…"
The blue knight then turned his cape into wings and flew off to find his comrades.
Finally, Marco and Bandana Dee were having some trouble with finishing off the opposing army, well, Marco was having some difficulties. His Monster Arm strength wasn't kicked in yet.
Not so much, with Bandana Dee.
'Dang, these guys are getting tougher?' thought Marco as he swung out a punch, then a kick.
The red hoodie fighter continued to press on, knowing that he had to get stronger in order to keep up with Star, Kirby and the others.
A soldier headbutted Diaz in the back, which caused Marco to fall face first on the boat's mast.
"This is one of the guys that had our brothers killed?" asked the soldier as a group of soldiers came along.
Another soldier came by and wasted no time as he brought his mallet over his head, so he could slam it into the male teen's body.
"Marco! Don't worry, I'm coming!" shouted Bandana Dee, he then uppercut the Ceteuran in the jaw, finishing them off and ran as fast as he could. Spear in hand.
Marco tried to fight back, but it seemed that some of the soldiers predicted his moves, he then shut his eyes, preparing for the worst.
Bandana Dee attacked the remaining soldiers that were in the way of him and Marco, hoping to get to him in time.
The orange idol then charged an attack in the air, he then shouted, "Waddle Triple Throw!" as he threw three spears in Marco's direction. He quickly did it again and again.
Bandana Dee then landed and continued to run towards his new friend.
The spears attacked the soldiers and killed them on the spot, but the soldier with the mallet and the another soldier that headbutted Marco, missed the spear attacks.
Marco then picked up one of the spears and decided to go to work. Diaz stabbed the mallet carry warrior in the chest with all the strength he had.
It was enough.
The soldier turned into star bits.
Then, with the final soldier, Marco cut their throat while swinging the tip of the spear, "Damn-huugghh…"
He then exploded into star bits.
The spear in Marco's hand soon disappeared.
"Wait, huh? That's strange…" stated Marco.
"Marco! Are you alright?" asked Bandana Dee.
"Yeah, thanks to you, thank you, Dee," answered Marco.
"Dee? What?"
"Oh, it's a nickname I've come up with, do you like it?"
"Yes, I do! Kirby, Great King and Sir Meta Knight usually call me Bandana Dee, so I've never had a nickname beyond that."
"I see, well I hope you like it…"
"I will treasure it for life."
Marco just smiled.
Then Meta Knight noticed them and landed on the same ship as them. "I'm glad that you both are still in one piece, we should probably find Kirby and the others."
Both brown-eyed warriors looked at each other, then nodded at the knight's gesture.
Said knight led the charge.
Kirby and Dedede met up with Star and Reiya, as the quartet was looking around for signs of life, the Lambent Amulet piece, other soldiers, and anything else.
"Well, we've shown them," chuckled the Great King as he jumped from ship to ship following Kirby's lead, Kirby nodded in approval.
"Yeah! I wish I've gotten to see you fight, D-Man," stated Star.
"You'll get a chance, wait, D-Man?" asked Dedede.
Reiya laughed. "You sure are an interesting person, Miss Butterfly."
Star just tilted her head in confusion. "Oh! I was just figuring out a nickname for you and the others." "For example, Marco is my Mess Up Twin."
"I see…" stated Dedede.
A few minutes passed as Meta Knight, Bandana Dee and Marco caught up with the others.
"Marco, everyone!" exclaimed Star as she ran towards them, "You're all okay!"
"Yeah, you can thank Dee over here," stated Marco as he pointed with his thumb at Bandana Dee.
"I'm glad you all are alright," beamed Bandana Dee.
Meta Knight cleared his throat.
"I hate to break this touching reunion, but we should probably try to find the Lambent Amulet piece before the Calajengs do," Meta Knight said.
Star pulled out her Handy Dandy Lambent Amulet Tracking Device from her pocket, and said, "Hmmm… it said it's underwater?!"
"Makes sense," stated Meta Knight.
"They wouldn't just leave a prized possession at the top," replied Reiya, "You all can breathe underwater, correct?"
"Um… NO!" said Marco, "What? Is that a normal ability on your planet or something?"
"Well, long story short, many healthy inhabitants of Megastar could do it," answered Reiya, "So, yes."
"Don't worry, Marco, I can't breathe underwater either," comforted Star.
"Thanks, Star…"
Before the septet could go any further with their discussion, a very large ship emerged from the ocean. The ship had red and white colors on it and towered over the blue and white ones. There was a loud horn on the red ship that blasted through the atmosphere.
"Whaaa…" is all the emptied Marco's mouth as he looked at the humongous ship .
Then Meta Knight grabbed Marco's arm and stated, "We need to hide, quick, everyone come close to me!"
Each member of the team did as they were told as Meta Knight used his Dimensional Cape ability to hide him and the others.
It was like they were never there.
The red ship finally finished ascending from the bottom of the ocean. On the vessel were some Calajeng soldiers, who had kidnapped many civilians of this world and were about to make them slaves/potential members for the Imperium.
The civilians were all sea creatures, a lot of them were merfolk. They were covered in chains and frowned in their new predicament.
Finally, there was Kyōdaina, one of the Permula Lieutenants, on the ship. Despite being an android, she was waterproof.
"What do we do?" whispered Marco.
"We wait, there's no telling who they are capable of, not to mention, the merfolk are captivated and could be used against us if we do not deal with the situation wisely," Meta Knight whispered back.
Star just looked at the warship as she gripped her wand tightly, she knew that those people needed help, as she was about to leave Meta Knight's dimensional cape, Marco grabbed her available hand.
"Star, wait," hissed Marco, "Wait until they are out of sight, please."
The blonde girl sighed and just looked at Marco, then Reiya whispered, "I hate this as much as you do, Star, but we need a plan first before we get kidnapped as well."
"Then our efforts would be in vain," whispered Dedede, "And who knows what they would be capable of if they had your wand in their gremlin palms."
"Don't worry, Star, we'll rescue them, I promise," Kirby whispered.
"Yeah, just be patient," assured Bandana Dee quietly.
Star sighed again, and decided to wait as the warship left their sights.
Meta Knight then undid his Dimensional Cape, and the crew was visible again.
"So, what is your plan, Sir Meta Knight?" asked Reiya.
"Simple, we try to enter the bottom of the vessel, also we would probably split up to cover more options, which means…"
"Going underwater, yeah," finished Marco. Diaz thought about how his socks would be drenched, but it was for a noble cause.
"Precisely," stated the blue knight.
Bandana Dee continued to look around for more ships, but nothing popped up.
"Don't worry your pretty head, Marco, I can make a spell to help us breathe underwater," stated Star.
"Of course, magic," replied Marco, "Why do I keep forgetting about that?"
Star just shrugged as she chewed the top of her wand, "I don't know why you would overlook magic?"
"What are we waiting for? Let's go!" cheered Kirby.
"Yeah!" Dedede yelled as he fist bumped the sky.
Star made a bubble spell called: Bulla Spiro, for her and Marco to breathe/see underwater. Then the group of seven jumped into the mysterious ocean.
Thálassa's oceans are very similar to the Onion Ocean from Kirby and friends' adventure with finding the pieces of the Lor Starcutter and the Energy Spheres.
However, it was very different as well, with its greenish-blue color, making it a bit difficult to maneuver through it and look forward. At, it wasn't poisonous and Kirby noticed he could Water Gun the smoke away.
Marco noticed that the roly-poly pink puffball, Dedede, Meta Knight and Bandana Dee all had goggles on their faces. Reiya was cruising behind them.
"Where were you guys hiding those?" asked Marco.
"We didn't think we would be traveling to a water planet, but we keep it on us to see where we are going," answered the Great King.
"Okay then," replied Marco.
"I think it looks cute on you guys," beamed Star.
"I am not cute," hissed Meta Knight.
Star avoided making eye contact with the blue swordsman
The seven warriors kept swimming, and a lack of sea life could be found. Mostly because the Calajengs kidnapped most of them. The group could see some floating skulls in the water and blood, which probably belonged to the inhabitants of this world.
"I can't believe that they did all of this," Reiya muttered.
"They probably did this, while we were fighting that army of soldiers," explained Bandana Dee.
The group of seven weaved their way from the carnage of war. Kirby did his best to not use his Water Gun ability, in respect.
"Good obversion, Bandana Dee," said Meta Knight, "That would make too much sense."
"Yeah, but why would the Calajengs kidnap them?" asked Dedede.
No one could answer that question for the red-robed king. So they paddled towards the red Calajeng warship.
On the vessel, there were hundreds, if not thousands of merpeople on there. Locked behind prison cells and chained to the floor. The rooms did not have any lights, except the sun, which obviously was outside.
Some children were crying, as their parents tried to comfort them. Some gritted their teeth, as some were shaking in their cells.
A mermaid could be seen praying, for a miracle.
"Hey, keep it down!" snapped a Calajeng soldier.
"Relax, it's only natural they would be acting like this," reassured another soldier.
"I suppose so," growled the first soldier.
At the top level, a different soldier was giving reports to Kyōdaina about the longbow Lambent Amulet piece that belonged to the shadow dragon long ago.
"So, nothing new, huh?" asked Kyōdaina.
"I'm afraid not, ma'am, but everyone is doing their best to find it, besides this planet is much larger than Megastar," responded the soldier.
"I suppose that's all that matters, any reports on Kirby, Star and their allies?"
"They were fighting our army, but they disappeared afterwards…"
"Send a crew to find them, we need to slow them down at all costs. And send that report to Antei and Inkra."
"Yes, ma'am, I will get on with that."
And so, the soldier went on with his job. Kyōdaina could only stare at the horizons which seemed endless.
'I hope those two are having better luck than I am,' thought Kyōdaina.
After a short while, the group of heroes made it to the bottom of the vessel. There was no trouble with invaders, but that would completely change once going onboard.
"So, who's going with who?" questioned Dedede as he started to slow down. As with the others.
"I can go with you, D-Man," Star answered.
The Great King smiled, "And for the rest of you?"
"I can go with Meta Knight," added Bandana Dee.
"I'll go with Marco," said Kirby.
"Reiya, you can come with us, I'm sure Meta Knight wouldn't mind, it would be best if we all went with someone in case of trouble," Bandana Dee said.
"I don't mind," the masked knight stated.
Reiya just nodded as thanks, then Star looked at Marco.
"Be careful," stated Star.
"Hey, that's my line," teased Marco, which caused Star to giggle. She then separated the large Bulla Spiro into two smaller bubbles. As Kirby pushed the bubble with Marco in it by the Water Gun ability.
"Good luck, everyone!" cheered Kirby.
"Same with you two," stated Dedede.
The group would go in different parts of the ship, so the septet would have more range on the vessel, Kirby and Marco near the front. Star and Dedede in the middle, finally Meta Knight, Bandana Dee and Reiya near the end.
However, the seven would be on the lower level at first. But this could change in a few minutes.
Marco's Bulla Spiro then popped as he and Kirby landed on the warship.
As Kyōdaina continued looking at the horizon, she worked on her tablet to pass the time. As the red warship cruised by. A loud explosion could be heard underneath her. A video call came from a Calajeng soldier on her tablet.
"Ma'am! We have gotten reports that Kirby, Star and the others are onboard the vessel from the lower level!" exclaimed the soldier.
"Sound the alarm! Make sure that your comrades know it is not a drill!" stated Kōsen.
'I knew we should repair the security cameras at the bottom of the vessel, but we were running short on time…' thought the android.
The alarm went off, it wasn't as abrupt as the ship's horn, but it got the job done.
"Intruder Alert! Kirby, Star and the others appeared to make it to the ship, this is not a drill! I repeat, this is not a drill!" boomed the soldier through the speaker "All members of the Calajengs go to your battle stations!" Then another explosion went off.
"Shit," hissed Kyōdaina, she prepared her arm cannons after pressing some buttons on her arm and ran towards the basement of the ship.
Kirby and Marco were fighting many soldiers, as the Latino American was talking to Monster Arm in his head while fighting.
'So are you going to help me out or what?' thought Marco.
'Well first, you could have asked nicely,' Monster Arm thought back.
'Second, why don't you pull your weight, and show me you're worthy…'
'Finally, I don't need you, I can find another pawn amongst the multiverse, another pawn to eat human bowels with…'
'Then why did you help me on Popstar?' thought Marco.
'That's none of your concern…' 'Less talking, more human bowels to be eaten!'
'You are not helping right now…' thought Marco, 'Forget it.'
Meanwhile, a Calajeng soldier pulled out a gun, and was about to shoot Marco.
"Wait, is that a gun?!" asked Marco.
The soldier shot a bullet, but Kirby jumped in front of Diaz and inhaled the bullet. He spat the bullet, making it a Star Bullet and destroying the soldier.
"Nice work, Kirby. I thought I was a goner."
"Anytime."
Marco then ran back to fight some guards, as Kirby leaped forward. When he saw a girl praying in the cells. She looked familiar.
The girl stopped praying, and straight into Marco's eyes. She had wavy, short platinum blonde hair and an aqua steak in the left side of her hair. She had mint green eyes and freckles.
"Marco, is that you?" she said.
"Jackie Lynn Thomas?!"
Why was the girl of his dreams trapped on this warship? Was his other classmates trapped here as well?
With Kirby, he met not one familiar face in the cells, but two familiar faces.
The former was a fairy with pink messy shoulder length hair and a long-sleeved red dress.
While the latter was a dark-haired human girl with a red beret, a green collared smock and a gray skirt.
"Ribbon? Adeleine?" asked Kirby "What are you guys doing here?"
"Kirby?!" "We can ask you the same question…" the pink haired fairy stated.
The painter nodded in approval, it had been a long day.
Author's Notes
Yes, your eyes are not deceiving you, Adeleine, Ribbon and Jackie Lynn Thomas join the chaos known as Kirby and Star: Charring Amulet. I hope you enjoyed Chapter 5, and see you in future chapters. I thought I could add more Kirby and Star Vs. The Forces of Evil characters into the mix.
I noticed I made a mistake, I forgot to translate Menyukai's name. So I'll do that, along with the new characters that were introduced in this chapter.
