Hey everyone. Welcome to the sixth chapter of Kirby and Star: Charring Amulet. I have been feeling under the weather lately, but I'm back.

I have some important news to tell you all: Expect a chapter later in April to celebrate the first anniversary of this story!

Chapter 6: Brawls on The Steel of Dreams! Jackie's True Form!

Marco Diaz couldn't get a good look at his crush, Jackie Lynn Thomas, for long because hordes of Calajeng soldiers were defending their ship from the Latino American and his allies from rescuing the captured citizens of Thálassa.

What was Jackie doing here and how did she get here of all places?

"Marco, watch out!" shouted Kirby.

Marco snapped back to reality as the young man ducked under a horizontal-flying kick from a soldier with wings.

'That was close…'

It was kind of hard for Diaz to see in the low-lighted room. That same soldier that tried to kick the karate kid's head off, turned around quicker than expected and came straight for Marco!

'Oh crap. Look, Monster Arm, stop playing hard to get! If I die, you do too!'

The beast within the teen sighed, then said, 'Fine, but only because your girlfriend is here...'

'She's not my girlfriend!' 'But, thanks.'

Marco's strength then increased tenfold.

Meanwhile, with Kirby, the pink hero inhaled a couple of Calajeng soldiers then spat it out to create a giant Star Bullet to knock down hordes of enemies.

Marco wasn't alone in seeing a friend in an unexpected place, but the puffball saw Adeleine and Ribbon, old friends of his that helped him defeat Dark Matter once and for all, in the cells as well.

Kirby didn't have time to wonder, as he began to Super Inhale the reminding soldiers on his side of the prisoners' room.

Then exhale, towards Marco's area.

A larger Star Bullet, making the previous one Kirby did, look like a shrimp in comparison came towards the teen's way.

"AAAHHHH!" screeched Marco as he saw the giant Star Bullets come his way.

One by one, the soldiers were hit by the humorous yellow stars and died in the process.

Diaz ducked once more as the winged soldier's back was pressed as the Star Bullet came and went at speeds that would make a speeding train jealous. Then the soldier exploded into star bits, from all that force put on him.

Then there was silence filled the room as Kirby and Marco were claimed victorious for another time.

Marco let out a deep breath, then yelled, "Kirby! A warning would be nice next time!"

"Oh. Sorry!"

"It's fine…"

"Now, my question is what are you doing here?" asked Marco as he turned his attention towards his peer.

Jackie chuckled then said, "You're probably not going to believe me…"

The girl was hesitant at first to tell Marco the whole story, but took a deep breath and exhaled.

"You see, Marco, this planet is my home." "I am in fact a Thálassaian or a mermaid, not a human."

Star Butterfly and King Dedede, the two royals of the group, were dealing with copious amounts of enemies as well. The King couldn't perform his Super Dedede Jump as the ceiling was too low, but that did not stop him from kicking butt.

The red-robbed king swung his hammer around his body a couple times by spinning and created a hefty, frosty gust of wind that froze several soldiers. He continued his rampage as he tackled some soldiers along the way.

Star was limited in her moveset as well, since she didn't want the prisoners to get hurt with her large-scale attacks on the ship.

"Double Giant Rainbow Fist!" shouted the princess.

As she finished saying that, two giant rainbow fists came from Star's wand and plowed down countless enemies.

"Woah!" was the king's response and jumped out of the way. His enemies were not so lucky.

It was only for a split second, but Dedede's face had widened eyes and a slightly opened mouth as he dodged the giant rainbow fist. All the Calajeng soldiers had been defeated in their area.

"Star! Were you trying to kill me or something?!" snapped the king.

Star was chewing on her wand at the moment, but she then came back to reality.

"No! No! I thought shouting out the spell was enough for you to get by,"

Dedede sighed, 'I swear she reminds me of Kirby…'

"Ya think a call out would be helpful," Dedede added, " I don't know the extent of your powers like Marco does."

'Yeah, about that…' thought the blonde princess.

"Right, right, I'm sorry, D-Man," Star concluded.

"It's alright."

The two blue-eyed royals shared a smile.

"Now, we should free the captives!" demanded Dedede, "Then make our way to the top of the ship and deal with whoever the heck is in charge!"

"Right, let me blast the doors down. Stand back, everyone!"

Star begined to charge her Royal Magic Wand, as the prisoners started to slide back with the sounds of chains echoed through the damp room.

The princess then fired a blast which blew off the hinges of the doors. Quickly, Dedede broke off the shackles of the slaves with his mallet. Which was cut like hot butter. Star helped as well.

A sea man spoke after looking at his wrists, "Thank you, Star and uhh…"

"Great King Dedede of Dream Land!" responded the penguin monarch.

"Y-yes, thank you, King Dedede."

The king nodded, then said, "It's probably dangerous to check for your friends and other loved ones. Leave that to us!"

Star then walked by the red-robed figure, and asked the sea man, "Wait… how did you know my name?"

"Simple. Dedede said your name a minute or two ago," replied the sea man.

"Oh! Well, don't forget about Marco, Kirby and the others that are helping us!" added Star.

The sea man smiled, as some creatures began to look around for these people.

Dedede nodded again, then spoke, "Right! My friends and I are trying their best to defeat the Calajeng soldiers."

One by one, the former prisoners were freed from their cells and returned to their homes, so they could tell their families and the sea king about the news.

And their plans for a counterattack.

The Masked Swordsman was busy cutting Calajeng soldiers in half with his golden sword and overpowered them with his unrivaled speed. As Bandana Dee attacked the Empire's warriors with quick spear jabs and uppercuts that would make a certain wandering warrior proud.

Reiya used her yo-yo, punches, and kicks to attack the grunts of the Emperor.

"I think it'd be wise to wrap up this squabble," declared Meta Knight as he looked from left to right.

"Yes, Sir Meta Knight!" said the orange idol as he blocked and dodged ax swipes from an enemy soldier. Then countered with a slide attack.

"Very well…" added Reiya while her yo-yo was coming back to her. She guarded, then did a sweep kick with her leg to knock over several enemies.

Meta Knight stopped time and did the infamous Mach Tornado attack, the blue warrior began to spin in the middle of the room and summoned two giant fiery tornadoes to wipe out the reminding enemies. He then healed himself, Bandana Dee and Reiya with Heal.

Before anything else could be said or done, Kyōdaina, one of the Permula Lieutenants, appeared before them. Meta Knight and the other two fighters got into their fighting stances.

The android looked around and saw her subjects turn into star bits, she gritted her teeth, aimed her arm cannons at the trio and yelled, "Your mindless actions cease here!"

The blue knight pointed Galaxia at his new opponent and said,"Fight us."

The four warriors begin their battle, but what happened to the other two lieutenants?

Antei, the leader of the Permula Lieutenants, and Inkra were busy looking for the Lambent Amulet piece of the longbow with some soldiers as it was underwater.

The men worked hard to recover it, but nothing showed up.

The plan was simple. Let Kyōdaina capture some citizens to know where the Lambent Amulet piece was using the warship: The Steel of Dreams, while Antei and Inkra look at the same time. Doing things in their own style.

Both soldiers had no idea Kirby, Star and the others made it to Thálassa… yet.

Then as if on cue, the duo got a message on their tablets from Kyōdaina, before she got to the bottom of the warship:

Kyōdaina

Hey. Kirby, Star and their friends arrived at The Steel of Dreams. Come back to help me and my soldiers. Pronto!

Antei

What?! We're coming. Stay strong.

Inkra

Just when things were going well…

Inkra began to sweat bullets as her mind was racing.

Her main concern was:

'I didn't think that Kirby, Star and their team would be here so quickly, how can they be faster than our spaceships?' thought the artist.

The painter snapped back to reality as Antei shouted at her, "Come on, Inkra! We've got to help Kyōdaina!" "We can't let the emperor down."

"Right." "Wait, what about our soldiers?"

"They can keep looking for the Lambent Amulet."

"Right, of course…"

Antei the caped figure turned towards her men and said, "It would seem that the so-called heroes have arrived. But fear not, we will return. Keep doing your jobs like the emperor would like."

"Yes, ma'am!" shouted the soldiers.

Effortlessly, Antei and Inkra would swim to the surface of this ocean planet. Corals and small fishes would be seen as the Permula Lieutenants came closer and closer to the surface.

Then, they used their tablets to track down The Steel of Dreams and went in that direction.

Marco's eyes widened at the reveal that his crush was from another planet.

"Wait! What?! You're playing a joke, right?" asked Marco.

"I'm afraid not," answered Jackie.

"How did you travel from Earth to here, then?"

"Dimensional Scissors."

"Of course! Now that was a silly question."

The platinum blonde-haired girl giggled at the boy's response, then changed her expression, and asked, "So? Who's your friend?"

Marco looked at Kirby who was busy talking to Adeleine and Ribbon behind the cells. 'I wonder if they're from here too?'

"O-oh, that's Kirby from the planet Popstar, apparently, he's famous across his galaxy."

"That's neat."

Marco asked a question, "Also, do you know those two, the painter and the fairy?"

Jackie turned towards the trio, "No clue. They appeared hours earlier, but I've never gotten the chance to meet them."

Meanwhile, with Kirby, Adeleine and Ribbon; the pink hero listened to everything the two maidens spoke to him.

"The Fairy Queen has noticed some strange energy due to the Crystal Shards telling her, and she ordered us and a small group to locate it," said Ribbon.

Adeleine continued, "She said this power could change the multiverse forever, and it should be in the right hands…"

Kirby looked from side to side, then said, "Oh! That might be the Lambent Amulets, I think…"

The painter and the fairy looked at each other in awe.

"What now?" asked Adeleine.

Kirby smiled, and said, "Never mind, let me break those shackles off of you and your friends."

A loud series of sparks and sword sounds could be heard from a couple of rooms on The Steel of Dreams. Due to Meta Knight and his group's fight.

"Um, Kirby? What was that sound?" asked Marco.

"Beats me." "Let's save these people first."

Marco looked at Jackie, then back at Kirby, "Right!"

The pink puffball and karate kid successfully broke every chain to each prisoner, and they would be let go. While Kirby was waving goodbye to his new friends and Marco talked to Jackie, a recent objective came to mind.

"Adeleine," stated Ribbon, "We need to find that general that took our weapons!"

The painter girl looked at her hands, then balled them into fists.

"Yes," answered the black-haired girl, "We'll show her!"

"Will you help us, Kirby?" questioned Ribbon.

Said child looked in Ribbon's direction and replied, "Of course, that's what friends are for!" This caused both girls to smile.

Marco and Jackie turned their attention to the maidens, and the green-eyed girl asked, "General?"

"Right, so, some people called the Calajengs are looking for these… Lambent Amulets for some reason, and I guess their ruler wants to conquer planets for fun," Marco answered.

Diaz continued, "This would be my third time dealing with them today. First on Megastar, then Popstar, now here!"

"So you do know these people," stated Adeleine.

Marco sighed, then said, "They can be rather rowdy, if you ask me,"

"Come on! Dedede, Star and the others might need our help!" rallied Kirby, as he ran to the right side of the room and opened the door."

Kirby then left his group in the dust. Silence choked the room.

"Mr. Dedede is here as well?" asked Adeleine.

"Star Butterfly too?" said Jackie.

But, time wasn't on their side, as Antei appeared and to say she wasn't pleased would be an understatement.

King Dedede and Star almost entered into the room that Meta Knight, Bandana Dee, Reiya and Kyōdaina were fighting in. But they were stopped by Inkra, the artist lieutenant!

"Where do you guys keep coming from?!" yelled Star.

Inkra laughed a shrieky giggle, the royal duo looked at each other upon hearing it. "So, you're the guys that gave Jinshu a rough time. Don't expect the same carelessness from me!"

The end of the lieutenant's pony tail became ink black and began swinging back and front towards her new opponents.

The Great King jumped forward to protect Star as he guarded the simple attack.

"What's your deal, anyway, another slave to the Calajengs?" snapped Dedede as he slammed his trust mallet at the painter witch.

"That's none of your concern, False King." "For your last minutes of living against the emperor, you can call me Inkra!" boomed the witch.

Inkra began to float, and fired four ink splats at the duo quickly. The red-robbed king swung his hammer at the first splat, then jumped over the second one.

Star kicked the third one, and fired a spell at the last one.

"Narwhal Blast!"

The stream of water dissolved the ink as the narwhal flopped around.

While the royal duo was distracted with the dark splats, Inkra created a giant rock fist on a canvas with the tip of her hair to punch them.

She did not expect a certain person.

Kirby.

"Dedede, Star, I'm here!" "I've found some old and new friends and-woah!"

His yells were covered by the sounds of brawl, so they didn't notice him at first.

The pink puffball made quick work of the giant stony fist by super inhaling it. He transformed into Stone Kirby.

Kirby now had a set of rocks on a pink, purple and orange base with a pair of hours and brownish skin.

"Stone Uppercut!" shouted Kirby as he punched Inkra's back.

"Ack!" yelped the painter as she was sent flying.

Dedede just nodded, and said:

"Kirby, thank goodness, you came. This witch came out of nowhere, claimed to be part of the Calajengs, and attacked us!"

Star looked behind Kirby, and could not find Marco. She bit the bottom of her lip.

"Hey, Kirby, where's Marco?" asked the blonde-haired girl.

"Huh?! He was right behind me!"

Star frowned, and thought, 'Something's not right…'

She gripped her wand. Tightly. Did someone hurt her friend?

"Super Bunny Rabbit Blast!" shouted the princess, as she leaped forward.

"Oh no," stated Inkra, "You're not going anywhere if-OOF!"

Dedede realized the situation they were in and tackled the Permula Lieutenant!

"Star, go!" shouted Dedede, "Kirby and I will deal with this wrench!"

Star launched at quick speeds, which separated her, Kirby and Dedede.

'Marco, please be okay…' was the only thing that entered her mind.

Meanwhile, Bandana Dee and Reiya were hurled from the android's kicks as Kyōdaina turned her attention towards the blue knight and fired some blasts from her arm Knight deflected the energy blasts with the swings of his sword.

The masked fighter released a Sword Beam and ran quickly behind it.

Kyōdaina, the android, jumped over the sword beam as Meta Knight thrusted Galaxia into the air, caught the robotic girl and slammed her into the ground violently.

"D-Damn it!" hissed Kyōdaina.

The girl would remove Galaxia from her arm, followed up with heavy strikes towards Meta Knight's mask, and threw a bomb at her opponent.

Meta Knight then cut the bomb in half, as it exploded in both sides' faces.

"Sir Meta Knight!" shouted Bandana Dee, "Are you alright?!"

The knight coughed from all the smoke in the room, then asked, "Yes, but where did she go?"

The masked warrior knew that she couldn't have gone far, and stabbed his sword into the ground and released a massive tornado to clear the way. That shook The Steel of Dreams and…

Which left his back open.

'Ha! That fool left himself wide open… huh?!' Kyōdaina thought.

Before the android lieutenant could do or say anything else, Bandana Dee jumped, grabbed and threw her towards Reiya.

Who had a giant flaming yo-yo waiting for her.

Reiya struck the yo-yo, with all her strength, and sent her flying.

Through the roofs and beyond.

"Quickly! After her!" ordered Meta Knight, "Thanks for the assist."

The other two members nodded and followed the blue knight.

Antei was busy fighting Marco. The caped warrior swung punches and kicks, but Marco; who activated Monster Arm earlier, blocked/ countered all of the attacks.

Then, Antei tried doing a spinning-fist attack, however the painter and fairy duo said otherwise as they jumped in front of Diaz.

"Fairy Dance!"

Adeleine and Ribbon begin spinning in a horizon angle and the two forces collided.

Sparks flew, lighting the some-what dark room.

The maidens were seeming like the winners of this duel, but something happened.

The caped warrior decided not to hold back anymore.

Antei was victorious as she overpowered the duo, and packed them up.

Jackie caught the unconscious duo and screeched to a halt at the end of the room.

Marco jumped in front of Jackie, Adeleine and Ribbon.

Said leader of the lieutenants shot two fireballs from the palm of her hands!

"W-woah!" screeched Marco as he tried to reach a halt. He shut his eyes.

But some small waves drenched them with relative ease.

"Who dares?" snorted Antei.

It was none other than Jackie, who had summoned her own trident. "Marco's not the only one who can fight you know?"

"J-Jackie, thank you," stated Marco.

A loud rumble could be heard across the ship.

Ribbon was still awake from her duel and saw a blonde-haired girl fly at great speeds.

"Guys, look out!" she shouted.

Marco, Jackie and Adeleine (who was still knocked out, but was moved by Jackie) ducked as soon as they heard that warning and Star came at the speed of sound, if not faster, and headbutted Antei.

The Permula Lieutenant leader slammed her back against the front door, and was unconscious, the front door bent in an unusual way.

"Ow,ow,ow,ow, my head," groaned Star as she rubbed the top of said area.

"Star!" cheered Marco.

Star opened her eyes, and saw Marco was still in one piece. She smiled.

"Marco!" cried Star.

The two embraced each other with a hug, as Jackie joined in.

"Huh?! Jackie, what are you doing here?" asked Star.

"I'll explain later…"

Ribbon shook her friend a couple of times, but nothing happened.

"Come on, Adeleine, please wake up…" Ribbon whined.

Star frowned, then placed her wand in front of the artist and placed a healing spell onto her.

"Maximum Healaso!" shouted Star.

Adeleine gasped for air, as she opened her purple eyes again. She coughed a couple of times.

"Uhm… I'm up, I'm up, what happened?" wailed Adeleine.

"I think we've won!" cheered Ribbon.

The five members looked upon the damage that had occurred in this area and the passed out general. Star looked around, then replied, "Yeah, I guess we did."

Ribbon hugged the princess, which surprised Star and said, "Thank you, thank you, I thought we were goners!"

"Um, you're welcome…"

"We were doing fine…" assumed Marco, "But I appreciate you all saving me back there."

Adeleine gave a thumb up, and Jackie winked at Marco, which caused Diaz to blush for a split second, but regained his composure.

"No problem, I'm glad we could help," stated Ribbon as she finally let go of Star.

Antei coughed up some blood, which caused everyone to tense up, then opened her eyes, grinned and got up, "Not bad, let's see if you all can handle a second round!"

"Alright then. Bring it!" shouted Star.

Both sides of fighters leapt towards each other.

Stone Kirby and King Dedede were hard at work, showing the artist witch Permula Lieutenant who's boss. The rivals were dodging energy spheres, art attacks, and ink swipes by the second.

"Why won't you two die?!" hissed Inkra.

"We have people who care about us, can you say the same?" teased Dedede.

"They don't matter in the long run," snarked Inkra, "For we are the Permula Lieutenants!" "I refuse to die to gnats like you two!"

"We'll see about that, right, King?" asked Kirby.

Dedede nodded and said, "Indeed."

Kirby transformed, and yelled, "Stone Change!" which tanked Inkra's attacks, then Dedede appeared in front and whacked her with his mallet.

Inkra was blown back, then let out an ear-piercing scream.

"What the heck?!" shouted the Great King.

The witch started to draw at a quicker pace, as she created three arm cannons that looked similar to Kyōdaina's. But Kirby and the King never met her…

Yet.

Kirby was still in his Stone form, as the three cannons fired giant blue laser beams, Dedede hovered to the top of the room to dodge the attacks.

The pink puffball's rival and the artist were fighting in the air for a couple of seconds, as the three lasers began to die down.

The King's hammer rammed into Inkra's face, as Dream Land's hero untransformed and ran towards the artist witch's location.

"Turbo Stone!" shouted Stone Kirby.

Which was Stone's dash attack, so the pink child got a couple hits on Inkra.

And knocked her towards the location of Antei, Star and the others; with the help of Dedede.

"Come on, Dedede!" "Star and the others need our help!" shouted Kirby as he started to run.

"Others?" asked the portly king as he sprinted behind Kirby, "Who else is there besides Star and Marco?"

Adeleine, Ribbon, and a girl with a green steak!" answered Kirby.

Dedede growled, then spoke, "I swear if the Calajengs did anything to my friends…"

The duo then ran into the next area…

At the top of the Steel of Dreams, Kyōdaina was dropping back towards Meta Knight, Bandana Dee and Reiya. As she started to shoot the bombs with her energy blasts to keep some distance between the android and her rivals.

Meta Knight held both of his allies in his hands, as he flew closer and closer to Kyōdaina, Bandana Dee and Reiya struck the explosives with spear and yo-yo respectively.

"Hey, Meta Knight, throw me as hard as you can against that robot!" shouted Reiya.

"What?!" yelled Bandana Dee, "Are you mad?!"

Dream Land's Knight sighed, then nodded and threw the light-blue haired girl at Kyōdaina with all his strength.

'Can I even make it at this speed?' thought Reiya, 'Yeah, of course, I can!'

Reiya sped past the explosions and hitted Kyōdaina square in the chest!

"Erm?!" was all the android spoke, before Reiya created a dent in her.

The masked swordsman and orange idol caught up soon after, and the three warriors sent Kyōdaina to the middle of the deck with the swings of their weapons.

It was enough to shake The Steel of Dreams even for a split second.

"I hope that's enough to stop her," said Bandana Dee.

"I doubt it," added Meta Knight.

"Let's check to make sure," Reiya stated.

And then Meta Knight let the two fighters down on the deck, after landing on it, of course.

Antei clashed with Star, Marco, Jackie, Adeleine and Ribbon. She sent fire-punches, spinning kicks, and uppercuts.

The caped leader blew them all back with the impact of her attacks, "Gah!" shouted the five adolescents.

"Is this all you have?" mocked Antei.

"We're just getting started," Marco declared.

But then, Inkra was knocked into the same area and was dizzy. Kirby and Dedede were close behind. Antei ran towards her comrade.

"Inkra?!" shouted Antei, "What happened?!"

"Ooooh, I think I have a concussion," complained the artist.

"You guys! You're alive!" beamed Dedede.

"Hiii!" Kirby chortled.

"Mr. Dedede and Kirb, hello, it's been a while…" said Adeleine.

"Hate to break up this reunion, but the…" Marco said.

Marco began snapping his fingers, trying to remember who these people were.

"Permula Lieutenants," replied Kirby.

Marco continued, "Right, thanks, might have a counterattack."

The seven warriors then got into their fighting stances.

Antei growled, and Inkra shook her head a couple times, then launched themselves at their rivals.

Reiya was looking at the fainted lieutenant, but before she could get a good look at her attack; Meta Knight noticed a large island on the horizon with buildings.

"That can't be good…" stated Meta Knight, "Bandana Dee, look for an intercom to let Kirby and the others we've reached an island and try to stop the ship from crashing."

"Yes, Sir Meta Knight!" saluted Bandana Dee, and he ran off.

The masked knight turned his attention to Reiya, "As he does that, I think it's best if we finished her off."

Kyōdaina heard that, and jumped up, and began attacking the blue duo.

"Excuse me, finish who off?!" shouted the android, "Over my dead body!"

"Damn," hissed Reiya, as she and Meta Knight back-flipped explosion after explosion.

Bandana Dee saw the explosions, but continued running to the telecommunication towers, he had a job to do.

'I believe that Sir Meta Knight and Reiya can handle the robot girl while I'm away, I hope so,' thought the Waddle Dee as he still ran as fast as his feet would carry him.

The orange idol finally made it to his destination, and looked at the steering wheel. Strangely enough, it looked very similar to Kabula's wheel back on Popstar.

'That's very odd…why would a boat have a similar wheel to the Great King's flying fortress… it doesn't matter, Bandana Dee, focus!'

Bandana Dee saw the intercom, and gave an announcement: Attention, everyone! The ship is about to crash onto a nearby island, I'll do everything in my power to stop it! Thank you.

Kirby, Star, and the others heard the news and reacted in their own ways, "Wait, what?!" shouted Marco.

"What happened to the pilot?" demanded Dedede.

Antei and Inkra just shrugged their shoulders, "Probably jumped overboard," groaned Antei.

"That will be the last life you fools take!" hissed Inkra.

Antei was slightly right, due to the impact of Meta Knight and his team's fight with Kyōdaina and her slamming into the deck. It caused the pilot to jump off the ship.

Inkra sketched a gas can, while Antei was about to light it ablaze with a fireball.

"Mega Narwhal Blast!" shouted Star.

"Oh shi-!" roared both Permula Lieutenants.

The blast was strong enough to launch Antei and Inkra into the sky as they landed on the large island.

Said drawing of the gas can was destroyed in the process, as everyone began to relax, even for a split second.

"We should help Bandana Dee stop the ship from crashing," said Kirby.

"Right, that seems like a logical plan of action," replied Adeleine.

The group nodded, then everyone began to run up the levels of The Steel of Dreams, as they heard explosions along the way.

A few minutes have passed since then, they had to free the captives that Meta Knight and the others didn't have time to free.

"We're almost there!" shouted Star.

"Star, you've been saying for the past couple of minutes," groaned Marco.

"But, I mean it, this time!" declared Star.

Kirby, Star and the group continued their way to the top of The Steel of Dreams. They had to stop it, they had no other choice.
