Author's Notes

Hey everyone. I would like to thank you all for the support for this story. By the time chapter 7 becomes public, it will be officially one year since I started writing Kirby and Star: Charring Amulet! Expect more stories in the future.

Thanks again, and Happy Anniversary!

Oh, one more thing, the boss vs. blurs, from last chapter:

Vs. Antei!

With a bright yellow cape and fiery red hair, Antei is the leader of the Permula Lieutenants! She has balanced stats all around: fire balls, spinning kicks, and a nasty rising uppercut, which makes her a worthy opponent! At least, on a one v. one…

She's determined to make her emperor proud as she hopes to lead her team to victory!

Vs. Kyōdaina!

Earlier in Emperor Murka's conquest of the multiverse, he found an ancient battle machine on a forgotten world that was destroyed by countless wars. That machine was Kyōdaina, after she was cleaned and fixed up. She then joined the Calajeng Imperium in a heartbeat!

She was given two arm cannons, in addition to an infinite supply of bombs, and an eye scouter.

She's slower than her comrades, but physically stronger.

Vs. Inkra!

A long time ago, an artist created four drawings with her magical paintbrush. She sold one of them, but unknown to her and the client that this drawing was alive! The client was speechless, but loved her anyway. Her name was Inkra. After some time, the client's world was soon conquered by the Calajengs. Inkra was scouted into the Permula Lieutenants, due to her potential and randomness, and she never saw that client again…

Chapter 7: Stopping The Steel of Dreams! The Maidens' Prayers!

Meanwhile on the Angkasa, the Calajeng Imperium's headquarters; Kecuatan was running some tests on Kracko, Mr. Shine, Mr. Bright and the mid-bosses.

The black-haired Battle Maid wrote down some notes in a training room with a large rectangular window hugged to the brim with glass that separated her and the residents of Popstar.

The Ice Beast, Mr. Frosty panted heavily, and could barely speak. The other mid-bosses were in similar positions, which included:

Bonkers, a mallet carrying simian-like creature.

Gigant Edge, a green armored swordsman. Both mid-bosses leaned on their respective weapons (sword and hammer).

Blocky, the cube stone-shaped warrior.

Grand Wheelie, the yellow tire crest machine.

Poppy Bros, Sr., the first mid-boss Kirby has fought.

Bugzzy, who is known as the beetle wrestler.

And finally Captain Stitch, the self-proclaimed king of the Gordos.

Kecutan frowned upon this as she walked into the training room, and shouted, "What's the holdup?!" "Keep training!"

"With all due respect, ma'am, we're exhausted," groaned Blocky.

The other small-scaled bosses agreed, even Kracko, Mr. Shine and Mr. Bright felt the strains of training for three hours non-stop.

"Pathetic, no wonder you guys never defeated Kirby," hissed Kecutan.

Bonkers grabbed his mallet, and shouted, "Say that again! I dare you!"

"You're weak," Kecutan snorted, "However, nothing the Imperium can't fix."

The Hammer-welding gourmand had enough and used most of his strength to leap at the red-eyed maid, and performed the infamous Hammer Flip at his target.

Bonkers charged up his hammer as it caught on fire within a second and swung it.

"Bonkers, don't!" shouted Mr. Frosty, as the mid-bosses watched and trembled.

"Oh dear…" stated Kracko, while Mr. Shine and Bright stared at this baby-aged brawl.

But, it was too late.

Kecutan slapped it away causally like a person swatting a mosquito. The hammer came out of Bonkers' hands and the fire was put out instantly.

"Wait…what?" asked Bonkers, "How?!" His knees began to shake.

Everyone had wide-eyes at the Battle Maid. She put her hand down.

"Even if you were at full strength, the outcome would have remained the same," answered Kecutan.

"That's enough of that…" stated a new voice.

It belonged to a young woman with blonde hair and blue eyes who wore a similar uniform to Kecutan's. Her name is Cahaya, and she is the leader of the Battle Maids.

"Miss Cahaya!" The red-eyed maid fell to her knees and bowed, "What are you doing here?!"

The blonde Battle Maid smiled, then stated, "The Emperor wanted me to see how our new recruits were doing."

She continued, "There's no need for this hostility," replied Cahaya as she walked over and placed her hand on Kecutan's shoulder, "We're all on the same side here. Let the rookies have an hour break."

Kecutan knew it was best to follow orders, and turned to look at the Dream Landers, "Very well, you all may rest."

Kracko, Mr. Shine, Mr. Bright and the mid bosses let out a collective sigh. Bonkers quickly got his mallet and was the first to exit the training room.

Soon, every member of this new squad had left the room, leaving only Cahaya and Kecutan.

Cahaya had a question to her fellow Battle Maid, "How can you expect our allies to succeed when they are nearly dead?"

Kecutan sighed, then spoke, "I just wanted them to be ready."

"And they will be, if you give them the chance to rest every now and then."

The dark-haired maid clicked her tongue and decided to leave the area, with new thoughts that danced within her head.

But before that…

"Also! Check up on the Kaiju Slayers, see if they are awake or not," commanded Cahaya.

"Alright…"

With everything said and done, Kecutan existed. As she did as planned, Cahaya just gleaned at her comrade, and softly chucked.

On the large ocean planet, Thálassa; Kirby, Star and their friends arrived on the top level of The Steel of Dreams after freeing the prisoners and sent the other two Permula Lieutenants flying. They could hear the explosions, and sword/yo-yo swings in the distance.

"Okay, so what's the plan?" asked Marco.

"Ribbon and I will help Bandana Dee stop the ship," answered Adeleine.

"I can help too," stated Jackie, "...Maybe the internal design is similar to ships here on Thálassa."

"Cool, cool, I'm going to, not much I could do against that Permula Lieutenant anyway…" replied Marco.

Dedede interrupted, "Not with that attitude!"

Marco just looked down at the floor, but he smiled.

"I'll help Meta Knight and Reiya defeat the bomber," declared Stone Kirby.

"Not without me," chortled Dedede.

"Yeah, let me join too. Let's work together, everyone!" Star added.

"Yeah!" Everyone cheered.

Then they separated.

Meta Knight clashed with Kyōdaina, sword against arm cannon. The android was currently overpowering the masked swordsman, but Meta Knight stepped back. Which allowed Kyōdaina to lose her balance, if not for a second.

But that was all Meta Knight needed.

Meanwhile, unknown to Kyōdaina, Reiya was charging up powerful laser beams from her eyes. The area was difficult to see due to all the explosions, she just had to wait for the perfect opportunity. Kirby, Star and Dedede entered the scene.

"Yo, Reiya, what's the plan?" asked the Great King.

"I'm going to snipe the android with these laser beams, while Sir Meta Knight keeps her busy." the Kaiju Slayer answered, then she said. "If you all are planning to throw a ranged attack, now would be the time."

"Gotcha," responded Star. As Kirby and Dedede nodded in agreement.

Back with Meta Knight, he attacked with elegant, yet fierce sword swipes. Each hit was successful with hitting Kyōdaina's metallic figure, after a series of attacks from Galaxia, the android fell to her knees. Then Meta Knight grabbed her and flew into the blueish-green sky, where he performed the Air Drop, a move that is similar to Ninja Kirby's and how he has been training to do it correctly for a while.

The sword fighter then shouted, "Reiya, now!" At this point, he noticed Kirby, Star and Dedede because the explosions had died down.

Meta Knight kicked Kyōdaina a few yards away and used his wings to fast fall to The Steel of Dreams.

Kyōdaina started to fall as well, quickly, but not as fast as the Knight of Dream Land.

"Everyone, fire!" roared Reiya. "Reiya Cannon Finale!"

Reiya fired the red lasers from her eyes, and the three other members followed suit, Dedede yelled, "Dedede Hammer Cannon!" and he shot a singular red smaller laser beam from his mallet.

"Bacon Kitty Hawaiian Nightmare!" shouted Star as she fired a blast of three-eyed kittens, bacon and pineapple.

Since Stone Kirby did not have a ranged attack like the others, he discarded his ability, then inhaled it and finally spit it out as a Star Bullet.

The four attacks then combined into a rainbow-esque colored attack as Meta Knight swiped each attack with his sword into one another and Kyōdaina braced for the worst.

"Ah shit…" grumbled Kyōdaina as she crossed her arms as she tried to block the attack.

A loud explosion shook the sky by Kyōdaina being hit by the powerful, yet mysterious laser beam and was sent flying in the same direction as Antei and Inkra.

The android became a trinkle in the sky.

At first, there was silence, but then…

"We did it!" cried Star as she leapt in joy.

"Yeah, we did…" Reiya said.

Meta Knight walked over to the other four fighters and said, "Good job, everyone, I'm glad Kirby and you all showed up because I wasn't sure if Reiya's attack would be enough to overpower our enemy."

"No problem," stated Kirby.

"Nothing we couldn't handle," remarked Dedede.

Around the same time Kirby, Star, and the others finished out Kyōdaina. Bandana Dee was trying his best to stop the ship from crashing onto the large island.

He looked around, to find a solution, but then…

Marco, Jackie, Adeleine and Ribbon appeared to help the orange soldier out.

"You guys! You came! Wait, Adeleine and Ribbon, what are you guys doing here and who's the girl?" As he referred to Jackie.

"Nevermind that," replied Adeleine, "We heard your message on the intercom and we're here to help!"

"Yeah, like friends should," Ribbon stated, then smiled.

If Bandana Dee had a mouth, he would have smiled from cheek to cheek.

"Nothing we can't handle, right, Dee?" asked Marco.

The orange idol nodded, then said, "Right. Let's get to work, everyone!"

"Yeah!"

The quintet went to work after that cheer. Jackie spoke out, "I think that this ship may have been constructed under Thálassa's laws, but I'm not sure."

"It's better than nothing, I guess," replied the Latino American.

"Really?" asked Bandana Dee, "Because the steering wheel looks similar to that of Kabula, the King's flying fortress on Dream Land…"

"That doesn't matter?!" Ribbon yelled, "We're running out of time!"

Jackie then took the wheel, to halt the Steel of Dreams. Marco then looked at the floor, then an idea popped up."Does the ship have a rudder?"

"Probably…" said Jackie.

The rudder is something at the end of a ship used to propel the vessel. It would move in a similar direction to a fan or a windmill.

"We need to do everything in our power to shut down the rudder, it's on the end of the ship," Marco added.

"Wait, why?" stated Ribbon.

"Because! That's what's causing the ship to move at its current speed," comforted Adeleine.

"Exactly. Come on, let's go!" Marco stated.

Everyone then left the controls room, with Bandana Dee being the last to exit. The explosions had died down outside, easing the atmosphere greatly.

Marco, Bandana Dee, Jackie, Adeleine and Ribbon finally made it to the edge of the ship.

"Wait!" shouted Marco, "We need to travel to the bottom floor."

"There's no time!" countered Ribbon, as she jumped off the end.

"RIBBON!" shouted Adeleine, and decided to give chase.

One by one, each of the remaining members jumped off. "THIS IS CRAZY!" screeched Marco in a high pitch tone.

This caused Marco to blush imminently after.

Before the quintet hit the water, Jackie summoned her trident and created air bubbles that covered their own space of each member. It would help them swim faster in the ocean currents.

"Good thinking, Jackie," stated Marco.

"Thanks, I've been meaning to try that move out…"

Adeleine then turned to her fairy friend, and said, "Ribbon! Have you lost your mind?"

"No… it was just quicker than going down those steps again," huffed the pink-haired fairy.

"Come on, we need to stop the ship, girls," added Bandana Dee as Marco and Jackie were already a couple of yards ahead.

"Right!" agreed the Maidens.

The trio could see the ocean floor at certain points of their travels, coral and sea life would be noticed.

Bubbles, lots and lots of them.

After some time, the quintet made it to the back of The Steel of Dreams, "I wished I could have traveled here before this quest started," Bandana Dee stated.

Marco smiled as he saw Bandana Dee, Adeleine and Ribbon come by.

"What took you guys so long?" asked Jackie.

"I had to call Ribbon out for her recklessness," replied Adeleine.

"It was not reckless," Ribbon said, "We saved time!"

"She's right," added Marco, "Let's not waste it."

"Just be more careful, next time," Adeleine put in, after sighing.

Ribbon nodded, "Okay!"

Jackie summoned a small water tornado and said, "I probably need someone to get in this tornado, so I can fling you at the rudder."

"I-I'll do it!" stated Bandana Dee, "Adeleine and Ribbon don't have their weapons, and Marco needs the bubble to breathe. He would pass out or injure himself in the process."

Ribbon and Adeleine looked at their hands, when Bandana Dee said that. Knowing their physical strength wasn't the best.

"Dee! Are you sure?" asked Marco.

"Positive!" nodded Bandana Dee a couple of times.

"Alright then, good luck then," added Marco.

"I'm ready when you are, Dee!" shouted Jackie.

"I was born ready," said Bandana Dee. He jumped into the watery tornado, and Jackie launched it with all her strength.

"Here we go!" the mermaid shouted.

The orange idol was hurled at great speeds, as Bandana Dee pulled his trusty spear out of Hammerspace and brought his spear in front of him.

'I feel like Sir Meta Knight,' thought Bandana Dee, as he looked like the masked swordsman's Drill Rush move.

He's seen it a few times in their training with the knight, Dedede and Kirby after saving the universe from Magolor.

'I hopes this works…'

Bandana Dee's spear reached the rudder, it clashed and clanked a couple of times. Violently, sparks flew everywhere.

But the ocean water would drench it out, so it was no big deal.

The orange idol put more of his power into the spear thrust, and it caused the rudder to stop.

It was completely damaged, but not Bandana Dee's spear, somehow.

At last, the Steel of Dreams was stopped.

Bandana Dee swam back to his new friends.

"Nice one, Dee!" yelled Marco. "I knew we could count after you were sure!"

"Yes, well done," stated the girls, they looked at each other and then laughed.

"I can fly you guys to the top of the ship, grab on!" said Ribbon.

"I'm sure Kirby and the others might need our help," stated Adeleine.

Ribbon then grabbed Adeleine's hands, as the painter took Marco's hands, and Marco took Jackie's hands, however.

"I can fly on my own, but thanks for the offer," added Bandana Dee.

Bandana Dee jumped in the air at quick speeds, and Ribbon followed him, carrying the teenagers.

Soon, the group of ten was gathered again on the deck of the ship. And they needed a plan and quick. Everyone got to introduce themselves. Granted, in a rushed manner.

"Okay… so Adeleine and Ribbon are missing their weapons, the Permula Lieutenants should be around here as well, and finally recovering the Lambent Amulet piece," declared Meta Knight.

"Yep!" added Kirby.

"We would have to split up," remarked Dedede.

The blue knight nodded, and Star said, "That…would make sense, I guess."

"Yeah, time is not on our side," Marco said.

"Time is on no one's side," Meta Knight countered. Then he continued, "Do you know who took your weapons?"

"Yeah, it was that robot girl," answered Adeleine, "But who knows where they are now."

The group of ten would have to pick quickly who to go with. "There's no time waste, we should probably split the gang into two," said Bandana Dee, "Five on each side."

"Right," stated Jackie as she looked at the orange idol, "That solves that issue."

Well, kinda…

"I'll help find Adeleine and Ribbon's weapons," stated Kirby, "It would be smart if they stuck with me, so that's three!"

"In that case, I'll join you," added Meta Knight.

"I-I can help too," Marco spoke up.

"Good," grunted Dedede, "So, that leaves me, Bandana Dee, Star, Jackie and Reiya to deal with the Lieutenants, good luck everyone."

"WAIT!" shouted Bandana Dee.

"Um, what is it, Dee?" asked Marco.

"Star," stated the orange idol, "Can you make a copy of the Handy Dandy Lambent Amulet Tracking Device?" "Just in case, the other party runs across the Lambent Amulet piece."

"Of course, I can," Star beamed.

Like it was very casual. The blonde princess made a second Handy-Dandy Lambent Amulet Tracking Device with her wand, "Replicate!" commanded the blue-eyed girl.

"Good thinking, Bandana Dee," complemented Meta Knight, "Now, we should get going." As he grabbed the device from Star's hands and nodded at the princess.

Everyone nodded, and went on their way. Kirby used his cell phone to call for two Warp Stars, then he, Meta Knight, Adeleine, Ribbon and Marco hopped on the first one.

And Dedede's team got onto the second one.

'Oh dear…' thought Marco. He still hadn't gotten used to riding the giant yellow star yet.

The Warp Star was cruising across the bluish-greenish skies at a quick pace. It was relatively peaceful, but they knew that wouldn't last forever.

Kirby made his vehicle go faster, Marco was holding on for dear life.

'Please be over, Please be over…' thought the Karate Kid.

Much to his surprise, the ride was over. "Huh. That was quick," stated Marco. As he was the first to get off.

"It's not called the Warp Star for nothing!" cheered Kirby as he got off. Then, he waved the Warp Star goodbye. Then it instantly disappeared.

Meta Knight, Adeleine and Ribbon landed on their feets, which caused the knight to say, "The Lieutenants should be close by, keep your guards up…"

"Of course, Sir Meta Knight," said Adeleine and Marco, granted at different times.

"Ok!" Kirby and Ribbon added.

The group started to walk on sandy beaches, the sand was pure white, it almost looked like snow.

There were palm trees as far as the eye can see, but no signs of life. Except, for the birds in the skies.

"The people of this planet were probably evacuated from the scene," said Meta Knight.

"Yeah… I can see that," Marco said.

Suddenly, the casual tone was killed, as a bomb landed on the beach.

Kirby ran to inhale it, and quickly spat it out at his soon-to-be opponent: Kyōdaina.

The android deflected the Star Bullet, with her arms. Which caused it to bounce off.

"I don't think we got to introduce ourselves last time," hissed Kyōdaina, "I am Kyōdaina, a part of the Permula Lieutrant."

Meta Knight quickly gave Kirby a spare sword for him to inhale, as he spoke, "I am the knight of Dream Land, Sir Meta Knight."

With a silver blade and a green hat that has a yellow brim and pom pom, Kirby transformed into Sword Kirby!

"Ready for round two?" asked The Bat-Winged Knight.

"Hmph. Don't be careless," snorted Kyōdaina.

Then she, Kirby and Meta Knight rushed towards each other. Marco, Adeleine and Ribbon stood back and watched.

Star, Dedede, Bandana Dee, Jackie and Reiya arrived on a coast, far away from Kirby's team.

"If the conditions are correct, then the Lambent Amulet piece should be underwater," declared Jackie, holding onto the Handy-Dandy Tracker.

"Hate to break it to you but, we know," said Dedede.

"Hey! She was just trying to help," countered Star.

"Right, my apologies," answered The Great King.

Bandana Dee looked at the device, and noticed the Amulet was moving! At rapid speeds.

"Guys, look!" shouted Bandana Dee, "The Amulet is getting away!"

Reiya gazed upon the placement the brown-eyed warrior was pointing at, "Yeah, you're right. What should we do?!"

An idea popped into Star's head, "We should hide behind the palm trees, then take them by surprise…".

"Not a bad idea, Star," answered Jackie.

"Thank you!" Star gleamed.

The quintet got placed behind the many, many palm trees, as the aqua streaked girl turned down the device, so it wouldn't catch the attention of the Calajengs.

They waited…

And waited…

And after a few minutes, they could see some Calajeng soldiers appeared from the water. But leading them was Antei, the leader of the Permula Lieutenants.

"How did she get to their area so quickly?" whispered Bandana Dee.

"Who knows," whispered back Dedede. "These Calajengs are surely interesting to say the least…".

"When should we attack?" whispered Jackie.

"Count us from five, Star," stated Reiya.

"Okay, okay," added Star, "Five…"

The quintet went into ready-to-run positions.

"Four…"

They could hear the Calajengs talk about how their emperor would be pleased with them recovering the shadow dragon's longbow.

"Three…"

The seagull-like creatures sang with the wind, and flew across the beach.

"Two…"

Everyone went into a more intense position. The time was nearly here.

"One!"

The team started to sprint as fast as their feet would carry them. The Calajengs saw them, and decided to divide and conquer.

Meanwhile, with Kirby, Meta Knight and Kyōdaina; the puffball duo clashed with the robotic creature.

Swords against arm cannons.

Sparks flew everywhere.

"Fascinating techniques, but you're nothing compared to the emperor!" snarled Kyōdaina.

"We'll see about that," said the knight.

The android shot an energy beam from her scounter-like eye twice, which caused the pressure Kirby and Meta Knight were doing to stop.

"Woah!" boomed Kirby.

"That's new…" stated Meta Knight, but quickly flew right back at his opponent.

Kyōdaina summoned bombs from her hands and began to throw them at rapid speeds.

Explosions covered the beach, as Marco tried his best to protect himself and the maidens.

"This is getting intense!" shouted Ribbon.

"What?! I can't hear you!" Adeleine shouted back as the explosives were almost point blank.

'What are we sitting around for? We should probably help them!' thought Marco.

The Latino American tried to take a step, but the flames were too loud and made the young man land on his behind.

'Or not. Smooth, Diaz…' Marco thought sarcastically.

Kirby and Meta Knight step-dodged from each explosion coming their way, and fired sword beams to counterattack Kyōdaina's bombs.

The masked swordsman then got up to the android's face and yelled:

"Release the weapons you have stolen from the maidens!"

Kyōdaina laughed, then threw a punch, which Meta Knight blocked and said:

"I like to see you and your friend try…".

Kirby sneaked behind the robot-like girl and did fast, yet strong attacks with his silver sword. He finished with an Upward Slash.

That sent him and his opponent into the skies.

Meta Knight quickly joined the pink hero, but Kyōdaina had other plans.

She used her weight to land back onto the sandy ground, and put her arm cannons together.

She put her hands into the cannons, and fired blue, fast laser beams.

The two swordsmen deflected these laser beams, as Meta Knight quickly went behind her, and stabbed the ground with electricity. A move he did during his fight against Kirby while trying to seal away Dark Nebula.

"Ack! My circuits!" roared Kyōdaina.

"Behold…" said Meta Knight as he lifted his cape.

The sky became dark as night. Then a horizontal blue slash zipped back as Meta Knight did a new attack.

"Galaxia Darkness!"

"Gah…" groaned the android.

She fell to her knees, as blood and oil dripped onto the sandy beach.

The explosions finally died down, and Marco, Adeleine and Ribbon could finally see.

"What the heck was that?" asked Marco.

"I'm not sure, but it looks like we won!" replied Adeleine.

But before that, Inkra appeared on the scene! With an ink swipe from her ponytail. The knight quickly counteracted.

"You didn't think it would be so easy, right?! snapped Inkra.

"Where did you come from?" hissed Meta Knight.

"I was trying to find Antei after your friends launched us from The Steel of Dreams," replied Inkra, "But I heard all the explosions and knew it was Kyōdaina!"

Kirby landed a while ago after his failed attempt to defeat Kyōdaina. He had glossy eyes as he saw Meta Knight perform Galaxia Darkness, but then got serious as the painter-witch appeared. He ran to cover his friends, he knew that Meta Knight could take care of himself.

Then Inkra turned to see Kirby, Marco, Adeleine and Ribbon.

Marco and Ribbon didn't bother her, but Kirby and Adeleine…

Now that was a different story.

The painter's yellow eyes became red, as Kirby was the one who defeated Drawica and Paintra. And Adeleine looked very similar to someone she knew from before joining the Calajeng Imperium…

"Don't worry, Kyōdaina! I'll deal with the pink one!" snapped Inkra.

"My name is Kirby!" yelled the pink puffball.

"Bah!" snorted Inkra, "You'll pay for what you've done to my sisters, I guarantee you that much!"

'What…what is she talking about?' thought Kyōdaina.

"Bring it!" called out Kirby.

"This beach will be your grave!" shouted Inkra.

Star, Dedede, Jackie, Bandana Dee and Reiya ran to the edge of the beach. And the Calajengs saw them.

The Great King spammed Hammer Throws.

His orange servant spammed Spear Throws.

Star shot out whatever spell she could have fired at the moment.

Jackie fired water spells from her trident.

And finally, Reiya breathed heavy amounts of fire.

"Ma'am, we're under attack!" screeched a Calajeng soldier.

"Yes, I can see that," calmly stated Antei.

The red-haired leader took her cape from her back and deflected every single attack thrown their way.

"Wait, what?!" shouted Star.

"Since where could she do that?!" Dedede also shouted.

The quintet jumped to avoid the attacks.

But Antei used her cape to quickly glide across the skies. She was coming for Dedede.

"Great King, look out!" shouted Bandana Dee.

Dedede opened his mouth to inhale his foe as a remark.

Successfully, it worked.

The red-robbed king landed and spat her out against the palm trees. A couple of them were knocked over.

"Oof!" grunted Antei as she leaned against the trees.

"Give it up, you've lost!" declared Dedede.

Everyone made a landing and got in their fighting stances.

"Heh," smirked Antei, "Giving up is not in my blood."

She continued, "Nor are the Calajeng Imperium quitters like you!"

The red-haired girl jumped into the air and tried to attack the quintet.

She landed with a punch that shook the planet for a good minute or two.

"W-What the heck?!" shouted Jackie as the ground rumbled.

"I know you guys are slow, but try to keep up," taunted Antei with a smirk.

The second round for the Lambent Amulets had begun.
