The new chapter is here... I love writing fight scenes these days, and I hope you love it as much as I did writing it. I recently updated chapter 13, because it felt like it was rushed so if you would, could you read it again. I would also love it if you guys review these stories. I love to hear critiques of my writing. And as someone who is writing his first book, I would love input on stuff like this. Also will probably drop the first chapter of a Fanfiction I'm writing based on the Naruto d20 campaign I'm running with my friends. So hope you look into it. But anyway, enough of the blabble. Chapter 14

Naruto's New Attack

Tsunade paced back and forth in her office. She was fearful about sending Naruto and the others away, especially with Sakura's life in peril. She took a sip of hot tea Shizune brought in not even a moment ago when there was a knock at her door.

"Come in, it's open." She said as Shikamaru entered.

"You wanted to see me, Lady Hokage?" Shikamaru asked.

"Shikamaru, a few days ago Naruto brought a platoon of ninjas to Blossom Country to see if they could remedy Sakura of the phoenix in her. And now we haven't heard any news from them yet. So what I was thinking was for you to go with a team of ninjas to assist with any problems they may face."

Shikamaru thought for a moment about the best way to go about securing a bunch of ninjas to assist with this special mission.

"I think I may have the perfect ninja to bring with me to Blossom Country." He said, leaving as fast as he could.

Within the hour Shikamaru would gather up 5 ninjas to help with the mission. He would enlist Neji, Hinata, Kiba, Shino, and Choji. They would gather at the gate and Shikamaru would let them know what the mission would entail.

"So we are needed to help Ino and them, sign me up," Choji said, with a fist in the air.

"As long as Naruto-Kun and Sakura-San are safe, we will do our best," Hinata said, with some confidence.

"Sounds like a tough mission, but me and Hinata will be your eyes in the front and back," Neji said, with a smile.

"We'll sniff out their location, the sooner we leave the better," Kiba said, with an excited bark by Akamaru.

"We shouldn't waste too much time then Shikamaru, let's rollout." Shino said, with Shikamaru leading the charge.

"Hold on guys, we're on our way."

A giant club slams on the sandy ground, as the big guy named Ogre tries to hit Naruto, But would destroys a clone. Sakura tried to nail him with a punch from behind. Her speed has increased quite a bit with the power-up from Ashimaru. But once she hit him, he just shook it off. He would grab her arm and slam her into Naruto. Sending them into the water.

"Hahaha is that really all you got, you two are pathetic." He chuckled, walking towards them. The gigantic club is ready to strike them. He would then feel an intense heat fire at him.

"Fire Style: Blaze Stream Jutsu!" Kai screamed, as a line of fire shot from his mouth. Hitting Ogre's giant club, setting it on fire. Ogre tried to slam the fire-ignited club at Kai. But with his increased speed, Barely did anything to harm him.

Naruto and Sakura soon got to their feet. Naruto would sprout some more Shadow Clones. All the while, Sakura began to build up fire in her fists.

"Double Whammy Sakura?" Naruto asked her.

"Hell yeah, let's hit him with a double whammy." She answered with a devious smirk.

Kai flew in and attacked with sword slashes, while not doing any damage to his hyde, it did cut him some. Kai then stepped aside and allowed the two team seven members to do their thing.

Naruto's plan was to hit him with a Naruto Uzumaki Barrage, while Sakura would nail him with a Furious fire punch. Naruto swept his legs and his shadow clones would strike him and Sakura would fly in and scream "Sacred Fire Style: Phoenix Fire Punch!"

Once the punch hit, it sent him deep into the water. All three of them would leap out of the water, hoping that they would at least send him to sleep with the fish. But to no avail, he leaped out of the water. He would shake off the effect of Sakura's attack.

"Well cutie, you did a tad bit of damage. But all for not, It's time for me to turn up the pressure a bit." He laughed, as black chakra enveloped him as he started to transform. His body grew bulkier and his arms soon became like Stone pillars. His head became more deformed and his teeth became serrated. "Prepare yourselves, it's time for round 2."

At another part of the beach, Itachi faced off against Toma. Toma was laughing like a hyena. All the while, Itachi stood there, with no fear to be seen in his face.

"Humor me, why are you laughing like that?" Itachi asked his opponent.

"I just wonder what your life would have been if you would align with us than that club of rogue ninja rejects?" Toma scoffed at him.

"Don't worry about something like that, worry about the now and how I'm gonna lobotomize you." Itachi threatened.

"Oh I'm shaking," Toma said, as he threw shuriken at him. Itachi would stand there and take the hit. As the shuriken hit him, he would burst into a murder of crows. Toma would observe this as the flock of crows lunged at him. Toma would surround himself with an electric barrier, dispelling the crows. "Sorry, but my master warned me about encountering the legendary Itachi Uchiha, I'm fully aware of your genjutsu prowess. So I have immunity to your genjutsu."

"We'll see, let's just cross that bridge when we get to it," Itachi said, reassembling from the flock of crows.

"We shall, we shall indeed." He said as he would transform as well. He would sprout a tail and his body would transform into something like a salamander with electric spines.

"Lightning Style: Electro Orb Jutsu!" He said, shooting a sphere of electricity at Itachi as it struck a log. He would then fire more in a repetition. It would continue to fire at him, he would finally get struck by one. "Got ya, you mine!" He screamed as he lunged at the paralyzed Itachi as it struck a fire clone. Fire would engulf him.

"You know, you shouldn't attack something you should be cautious about. Especially if someone can make fire clones." Itachi said, mocking him. He then started to fly through hand signs, "Fire Style: Grand Fireball Jutsu!" He said as a giant fireball shot out. Hitting him dead on. He looked on and saw him stand up. "I figured that it would be more tricky to take you out." He said as Toma shook off the effects of the fireball.

"True that, you should know that this is just round one."

Itachi smirked, this was quite the challenge he was bound to face. He would then take off his cloak.

Sakura soon found herself in her mindscape once again. She began to panic, she thought that she was either knocked out or dead. Until she saw Ashimaru appear in her mind.

"Sakura, I can help you unleash more of my chakra. But I'm afraid that it may not be enough to defeat this Ogre you're facing." She said bluntly to the pink-haired girl.

"It may not be enough, but it should help Naruto defeat him," Sakura said, with a spark, Ashimaru has never seen in her existence.

"I hope this will work against him. However, you might be out for a while after this fight." Ashimaru said to Sakura.

"Whatever the case may be, we need all the assistance we can get." She said to Ashimaru.

"Very well, good luck Sakura." She said, sending more of her chakra to her.

Sakura's black aura began to grow more fierce on the outside, as she felt more powerful. It was to be seen if it would do any damage to Ogre, but this should be enough. The three of them stood together, as Ogre started to approach them again. They were tired from the fight, but they were determined to defeat them.

"So, does anyone have a good idea how we can take out this big oaf?" Kai asked his comrades.

"Naruto, you usually have a crazy idea… let's hear it," Sakura said, with a smirk on her face.

"As a matter of fact I do actually, if you guys can distract him for about 4 minutes, I can use this new jutsu that Kakashi-sensei was teaching me," Naruto said, with that same smile on his face.

Suddenly they heard a voice scream out to him.

"I want to help out as well," Ino said, taking her position.

"Are you sure you want to risk your life like this Ino?" Sakura asked her best friend.

"I just can't sit by and let you guys have all the fun now can I?" She said, with confidence.

Kai looked at his friends, these were the first people he met after leaving the sanctuary, he was so happy that he could enjoy going to battle with the people he had come to love. He smiled and gave Naruto a thumbs-up.

"Alright then Naruto, do what you need. We'll hold him off until then."

Toma laughed with malice, his mouth was watering with the prospect of taking a chunk out of the Uchiha standing in front of him. He began to charge up some electricity and unleashed a torrent of electricity at Itachi, but Itachi dodged it. But like a lightning bolt, he appeared behind him and struck him with his tail, and slowly wrapped his tail around Itachi, but he burst into the murder of crows again.

"Fool, you can only get so far with that move." He growled and attacked the birds with a lightning surge.

The birds vanished and he looked over the area, he found no sign of Itachi whatsoever.

"Where's the body that should have killed him or paralyzed him at least?" He hissed out loud.

A giant fireball would hit him hard, and a loud roar of pain could be heard coming from the evil lizard. Itachi stood there, ready to fire off another attack. Toma's evil red eyes glared at him.

"YOU STUPID BASTARD, THAT HURT!"

"Of course it did, that was the purpose," Itachi said, mocking him.

"That's it, I'm done playing games. I'm going to end it right here, right now." Toma said, launching himself at Itachi. Before he got any farther though, gold chakra chains locked him down. "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?" He roared with anger.

Kushina appeared, much to Itachi's delight.

"Well Itachi-San, looks like I set him up for you. Go for the kill." Kushina said, with an ominous tone.

"Heaven's Legacy: Searing White Flame!" Itachi screamed as a stream of white fire engulfed the evil lizard. As he roared in pain, Kushina retracted the chakra chains and with one final gasp, the lizard was burned to a crisp.

"Thank you for the assistance Lady Kushina," Itachi said, with Kushina giving him a smile.

Ogre slowly approached the four ninjas, Naruto created two shadow clones to prepare the new jutsu, and with that, it was show time. Ino would leap in the air, jumping off of Kai's shoulders, she would throw 3 kunai at the bulky mammoth of a man. He held his arm up, the kunai would dig into the stone like stumps. But then the kunai would detonate, they had paper bombs on them. His arm cracked a bit, as he felt a twinge of pain.

Kai would then take his turn for an offensive strike. He would channel his chakra into the seal on his sword.

"Fire Style: Dragon Inferno Sword Jutsu!" He said as the seal glowed. His sword would erupt with flames and he would start to swing at him, dealing him not only slashing damage but also burning him. Ogre would then slam his arm at Kai, but with the seals removed it was harder for the lumox to try to hit him. Kai would continue the assault with his sword, dealing him some harsh damage. He would then step aside. "Sakura, it's your turn!"

Sakura would leap into the air and focus the power of Ashimaru on her foot. And would drive her heel into him. He tried to hold off his attack, but the force of not only her powerful chakra control, but the fierce demonic fire of Ashimaru coursing through her body and erupting through her foot would cause more of his arm to break off. She would then drop to her feet, and rush him. Delivering a powerful fire punch at him. Allowing Ino to strike him with some quick punches and kicks at Ogre.

"Fire Style: Dragon Blade Slash Jutsu!" Kai screamed as fire waves struck Ogre, cutting and burning him even more.

Ogre slammed his fists on the ground, causing fissures to knock everyone to the ground. He then charged and slammed Ino with his good arm, sending her flying. Sakura was quick to catch her though. He then raised his arm and brought it down, though Kai would block some of the damage, the seismic shock rippled through his body, causing him to drop his sword. Ogre would then smack him with all of his force. Causing his body to break like a 2x4 in a wood compressor.

"KAI-KUN!" Ino screamed as she went to check on him. Ogre soon approached Sakura, he knew that at this time. He could easily grab her since the power Ashimaru gave her was starting to weaken.

"Little girl, you know that I could easily break you. But this is your last chance to come with me peacefully, or I will crush you and your friends." Ogre smugly said to the girl.

"Maybe, but you're forgetting one person," Sakura said, with a smug smirk.

"Oh and what may that be?"

"NARUTO-KUN… LAY THE SMACKDOWN ON HIM!" She said as the two clones completed the final touches to Naruto's newest jutsu. Naruto came running at Ogre with all of his might as his newest technique… The Rasenshuriken.

"Alright big guy, are you ready for a world of pain?" Naruto said while charging at the big guy.

"Bring it on little man, but I will deflect it and make you cry," Ogre said, standing his ground.

One shadow clone would pop from under the sand and punch him across the face, he would be easily dispatched by Ogre, as another shadow clone would kick him in the gut. But like the other shadow clone, it would be destroyed by Ogre. However, something would hit Ogre in the back and would cause an explosion.

"What the hell was that?" Ogre said as he looked to see that Ino threw one of her last exploding kunai. "You little pest, I will kill you!"

But before Ogre could do more than just throw out idle threats, Naruto would hit Ogre straight in the gut with his new Jutsu. The Rasenshuriken would trap Ogre in a sphere of slashing wind and then would send Ogre flying through the stone formations. He would impact it, causing the site where he crashed to fall on him. Naruto stood there, his arm felt like it broke, but a grin appeared on his face. Naruto slowly began to fall, but Sakura would catch him. She too would fight to stay on her feet. But luckily Kushina would catch her.

"I'm so proud of you kids. You did good, but now you rest up." Kushina said, looking down at her son and the love of his life. "Minato would be so proud of you Naruto."

Ino started to heal Kai, Kai coughed up a bit of blood. But she kept at it.

"Are you gonna be alright Kai-Kun?" She said, scared about his well-being.

"I've been through alot worst. But I know you'll heal me up." He responded, giving her a half smile.

Itachi would help her up and put Kai over his shoulder. She nodded at the Uchiha. The ninja began their trip back to Tsubaki's to rest up and get ready for the ritual.
