The Benediction of the Fallen Fury

The chamber is dimly lit, the walls adorned with banners depicting the Order's valorous deeds. At the center, a round table with the Seals of Office laid upon it, the Sacred Texts of the Order resting at its head.

Canoness Commander.

Council of high-ranking Sisters.

The Sister's minder.

Chaplain of the Order (as an observer).

o Responsibilities:

§ Opening of the Council: The Canoness Commander solemnly declares the council in session, marking the gravity of the situation.

"In the name of the Emperor, I convene this council to deliberate the fate of a Sister who has borne the Emperor's Wrath beyond her mortal limits."

§ Presentation of the Case: The Sister's minder presents a detailed report on the Sister's condition, outlining the symptoms and the progression of her decline into Menta-Beastialix.

"With a heavy heart, I lay before you the plight of our Sister, consumed by the Emperor's divine fury."

§ Deliberation: The council, guided by the Sacred Texts, deliberates the necessity of the Benediction, weighing the Sister's service against her current state.

"Let us, in wisdom and compassion, weigh the fate of our Sister, that our judgment may align with the Emperor's will."

§ Invocation of Wisdom (Prayer):

"O Emperor, Keeper of Mankind, bestow upon us Your wisdom, that we may see clearly in these darkened hours. Guide our thoughts, our words, our decisions, in Your eternal light."

§ Prayer for Guidance:

"Emperor, guide our hearts and minds in this grave task. Let us find solace in Your wisdom, and strength in Your purpose, as we tread this solemn path."

o Responsibilities:

§ Assessment Confirmation: The Canoness Commander and the Sister's minder review and confirm the council's decision.

"In accordance with the council's wisdom and the Sacred Texts, I acknowledge the path laid before us."

§ Official Approval: The Canoness Commander utilizes the Seal of the Canoness and the Charter of the Order to officially sanction the Benediction.

"By my hand, and with the Emperor's gaze upon us, I sanction the Benediction of the Fallen Fury for our Sister."

§ Litany of Solemn Duty (Prayer):

"We stand as guardians of His truth, bearers of His justice. In this act, we honor our Sister, her service, her sacrifice. Let this duty, though heavy, be carried out with reverence, in the name of the Emperor, our undying light."

The Canoness Commander and the Sister's minder affix their seals to the official decree, marking the solemn approval of the Benediction. The Chaplain of the Order, witnessing the proceedings, offers a silent prayer, a plea for the Emperor's mercy on the soul of the Sister who is to be released from her earthly duty.

Thus, the initiation of the Benediction of the Fallen Fury is solemnly and reverently concluded, marking the beginning of the end for a Sister who has walked the path of the Red Fury to its furthest bounds.

· Preparation for the Benediction

o Preparation of the Altar

Sanctum of Remembrance, Order of the Bloody Rose Convent

The Sanctum is a place of deep reverence, its walls lined with the names of the fallen. The air is heavy with the scent of incense, signifying the solemnity of the rite to come.

o Participants:

Designated Sisters of the Sacristy.

o Responsibilities:

§ Altar Setup: The Sisters meticulously prepare the altar, draping it with cloths of deep crimson and black, the colors of mourning and remembrance in the Order.

§ Adornment: The Sanctum is adorned with candles and incense, each item placed with deliberate care to honor the fallen Sister.

§ Placement of Relics: Sacred relics of the Order, symbols of sacrifice and valor, are arranged upon the altar, alongside the holy oils.

§ Chant of Sanctification (Prayer):

"In this sanctified space, we honor our fallen. May this altar bear witness to the purity of our intent and the depth of our sorrow. Sanctified be this ground, hallowed by the blood of the faithful. In the Emperor's name, we sanctify this space."

As the Chant of Sanctification echoes through the Sanctum, the space is transformed into a hallowed ground, ready for the solemn rite.

o Sanctification of the Space

o Participants:

Ranking Sister Chaplain of the Order.

o Responsibilities:

§ Blessing of the Sanctum: The Chaplain, with measured steps, moves through the Sanctum, blessing the space with Holy Water.

§ Censing the Altar: The Chaplain uses the censer to spread sacred incense around the altar, each wave a gesture of sanctification.

§ Rite of Sacred Ground (Prayer):

"Emperor above, who watches over us, bless this ground as we prepare to return a soul to Your embrace. Let this space be a refuge from the storm, a haven where Your mercy reigns. Sanctify this ground, that it may be worthy of the rite we are to perform. In Your name, let this space be consecrated, a sanctuary for the final act of service of our Sister."

With the completion of the Rite of Sacred Ground, the Sanctum of Remembrance becomes a consecrated space, ready to host the Benediction of the Fallen Fury. The air is heavy with the weight of duty and the solemnity of the impending rite, every Sister present aware of the gravity of the act they are about to witness.

The Sanctum now stands ready for the Benediction, a testament to the Order's devotion and the sacred duty they are about to fulfill in the name of the Emperor.

· The Benediction Ceremony

o Invocation of the Emperor's Mercy

Sanctum of Remembrance, Order of the Bloody Rose Convent

The atmosphere is solemn as the Canoness Preceptor, Ranking Sister Chaplain, and attending Sisters gather around the altar. An Icon of the Emperor is prominently displayed, and sacred incense burns steadily, filling the air with its hallowed fragrance.

Canoness Preceptor.

Ranking Sister Chaplain.

Attending Sisters.

o Responsibilities:

§ Invocation Preparation: The Canoness Preceptor and Chaplain lead the attending Sisters in preparing their hearts and minds for the Invocation.

§ Lighting of the Incense: The Sacred Incense is lit, symbolizing the prayers reaching the Emperor.

§ Presentation of the Icon: The Icon of the Emperor is held aloft, a focal point for their prayers.

§ Litany of Mercy (Prayer):

"Emperor, in Your boundless mercy, hear our prayers. We stand before You, humble servants, seeking Your grace in this hour of need. Grant Your forgiveness to our Sister, who has borne Your wrath in her soul. In Your mercy, envelop her, guide her to Your light."

§ Prayer of the Lost Sister:

"For our Sister, lost in the storm of Your wrath, we beseech Your compassion. Let her find solace in Your embrace, free from the burdens she has carried. In Your eternal kingdom, may she find peace, forever sheltered in Your love."

As the prayers are recited, the Sisters' voices merge into a solemn chorus, echoing through the Sanctum. The incense smoke rises, symbolizing their prayers ascending to the Emperor.

o Administration of the Benediction

The most sacred and somber part of the ceremony begins. The Canoness Preceptor, accompanied by the Ranking Sister Hospitaler, approaches the fallen Sister, who lies in repose upon the altar.

Canoness Preceptor (or designated Sister).

Ranking Sister Hospitaler.

o Responsibilities:

§ Preparation of the Chalice: The Chalice of Peace, containing a sacred elixir, is blessed by the Canoness Preceptor.

§ Anointing of the Blade: The Anointed Blade, a ceremonial weapon, is consecrated with holy oils.

§ Administering the Sacrament: The Canoness Preceptor administers the elixir to the fallen Sister, a painless release from her earthly bonds.

§ Sacrament of Eternal Rest (Prayer):

"With this sacred elixir, we release you from your mortal coil. In the name of the Emperor, may your spirit ascend to His side. By this blade, your duty is fulfilled, your service honored. Rest now, brave Sister, in the Emperor's eternal embrace."

The Canoness Preceptor gently administers the elixir, and the Ranking Sister Hospitaler stands in solemn vigil. The fallen Sister's breathing slows, her features soften, as the burden of her fury is lifted.

With a final prayer, the Canoness Preceptor uses the Anointed Blade in a ceremonial gesture over the Sister's heart, symbolizing the release of her soul to the Emperor. The Sanctum is silent, save for the soft chants of the attending Sisters, as they witness the departure of their Sister's soul to the Emperor's side.

The Benediction Ceremony concludes with a profound sense of sorrow and reverence, the fallen Sister having been returned to the Emperor with all the honor and solemnity befitting a warrior of her stature.

· Conclusion of the Benediction

o Final Commendation

Hall of Heroes, Order of the Bloody Rose Convent

The Hall of Heroes, a solemn and revered place within the Convent, is filled with the entire Convent. The walls are adorned with banners of the Order, and the Book of Remembrance is placed prominently at the front.

o Participants:

Entire Convent.

Ranking Abbess leading the ceremony.

o Responsibilities:

§ Opening Address: The Ranking Abbess begins the ceremony with a somber address, acknowledging the gravity of the occasion.

§ Reading of Deeds: Select Sisters recite the fallen Sister's deeds and sacrifices from the Book of Remembrance.

§ Presentation of Banners: The banners of the Order are unfurled, symbolizing the fallen Sister's eternal place in the Order's history.

§ Eulogy of Valor (Prayer):

"Today, we honor our Sister, a warrior of the Emperor's wrath. Her deeds, inscribed in the annals of our Order, stand as a testament to her valor and sacrifice. In the Emperor's light, she fought; in His grace, she rests."

§ Hymn of the Fallen Fury (Prayer):

"In the chorus of the faithful, we sing the hymn of the fallen. Her fury, her devotion, echo in our hearts. In the Emperor's name, she lived; in His glory, she ascends. We honor her spirit, forever among the stars."

The Hall resonates with the Hymn of the Fallen Fury, a poignant tribute to the Sister's life and service.

o Sealing of the Record

Ranking Sister Dialogus of the Order.

o Responsibilities:

§ Documentation: The Sister Dialogus, in solemn duty, inscribes the details of the Sister's life and sacrifice into the Order's sacred records.

§ Sealing of the Record: The Canoness affixes the Order's Wax Seal to the scroll, signifying the official recognition and honor of the Sister's sacrifice.

§ Litany of the Sacred Keepers (Prayer):

"By this seal, we consecrate her memory. In the sacred archives of our Order, her spirit endures. Let this record bear witness to her service, her valor, her ultimate sacrifice. In the name of the Emperor, we seal her legacy."

The sealed scroll is then placed in the Order's archives, a sacred and confidential testament to the Sister's life and service.

o Dismissal of the Assembly

§ Final Blessing: The Sister Chaplain offers a final blessing to the assembly, invoking the Emperor's protection and guidance.

§ Benediction of the Bloody Rose (Prayer):

"In the Emperor's name, we conclude this sacred rite. May His light guide us, His strength fortify us. As the Bloody Rose blooms in His grace, so shall we continue in our duty, unwavering."

§ Prayer of Continuance:

"Emperor, guide our steps as we depart from this hallowed place. In our hearts, we carry the memory of our Sister, her spirit a beacon in our path. Lead us onward, in Your eternal war against darkness."

With the conclusion of the Prayer of Continuance, the assembly is solemnly dismissed, each Sister departing with a renewed sense of duty and a deep reverence for the sacrifice of their fallen comrade.

The Benediction of the Fallen Fury concludes, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all present – a poignant reminder of the cost of service in the Emperor's name.

· Post-Ceremony Rites

o The Vigil of Remembrance

Memorial Garden of the Convent, Order of the Bloody Rose

The Memorial Garden, a serene and sacred place within the Convent grounds, is illuminated by the soft glow of candles. Each flame represents a Sister's spirit, an eternal reminder of their sacrifice.

o Participants:

Close sisters of the fallen Fury.

The fallen Sister's minder.

o Responsibilities:

§ Preparation of the Vigil: The Sisters gather in the Garden, each bearing a candle and a personal relic of the fallen Sister.

§ Lighting of the Candles: The candles are lit in memory of the Sister, casting a gentle light across the Garden.

§ Recitation of the Night Psalms: A series of Psalms are recited, echoing the virtues and spirit of the fallen Sister.

§ Chants of Remembrance: The Sisters join in chanting, a solemn tribute to their fallen comrade.

§ Reading of the Singulas Oraton: Personal prayers or statements written by the fallen Sister, if any exist, are read aloud, often by a close sister or the minder.

o The Rite of Ashes

Garden of Heroes, Order of the Bloody Rose

The Garden of Heroes, a sacred space dedicated to the Order's most valiant and sacrificed Sisters, is the final resting place for their ashes.

o Participants:

Select Sister(s) chosen for this honor.

o Responsibilities:

§ Carrying of the Urn: The chosen Sister(s) solemnly carry the Urn of Ashes, holding the remains of the fallen Sister.

§ Scattering of the Ashes: In a sacred and contemplative ceremony, the ashes are scattered among the roses of the Garden, symbolizing the Sister's return to the Emperor.

§ Litany of Eternal Wrath (Prayer):

"As we return these ashes to the earth, let them merge with the soil of valor and sacrifice. In the Emperor's eternal wrath, she served; in His everlasting peace, may she rest. Her spirit, now unbound, joins the chorus of heroes who came before. In the Garden of Heroes, her memory shall endure, a beacon of the Emperor's eternal light and fury."

The Rite of Ashes concludes with a moment of silence, each Sister reflecting on the cycle of service, sacrifice, and eternal rest. The fallen Sister's spirit is now interwoven with the legacy of the Garden of Heroes, forever a part of the Order's storied history.

With the completion of these post-ceremony rites, the Benediction of the Fallen Fury reaches its solemn conclusion. The Sisters of the Order of the Bloody Rose carry forward the memory and spirit of their fallen comrade, ever committed to their sacred duty in the Emperor's name.
