Chapter 36
Present time…
Trigun had finished going over the data with Yami. They have been watching the alchemists in Japan, and none of them are up to any sort of good. Trigun had to step in a few times as they tried to harvest from the divine. It was getting bad out there.
"My cousin has spoken with the human government about this, apparently, they were stunned by these events and were unaware of these alchemists. I doubt that" Yami said offhandedly. "They are as old and known as sorcerers themselves. They aren't widely known due to the fact that it takes SSSSSOOOO long to get results!"
"That makes sense, so they were aware however they didn't care nor bother due to the difficulty for an alchemist to get materials… However, Roark brought up the fact that times have changed drastically and they are aware of new materials that they can use… and they can be deadly in the wrong hands. So, he explained that we will take care of the alchemists who are doing such damage… which is all of them. Is this correct?" Trigun asked.
Yami nodded. "We have inspected as well as witnessed everyone involved in this taking what they desire for their so called potions… even though I, myself couldn't see what was happening. I trust your eyes more than anything." He decreed. "So, we have the go ahead to do this now, we just need a plan…"
Trigun however smiled. 'Master, it's time' he thought.
As Yami was trying to go over an idea, a gentle knock came to the door of his lab. They remained on the school grounds to be safe, as well, Yami keeps all his things here anyways.
He grew curious as he heard the gentle tapping on the door once again, Trigun merely smiled as it opened and Master stood there with not just his three eldest children… but the youngest who were born a short time ago.
They were like eight year olds, and one had rather distinct dragon features.
"Oh… hello! Would you like to come in? Or are you more comfortable outside?" Yami asked.
Master entered with his children, he turned to Trigun and smiled to him, nodding.
"Ahem, Yami, my master and his family have come here to help us with the alchemists." He explained.
Yami was hesitate. "I am grateful… but are you certain to bring your children with you?" he asked with concern. "The more hands the better, however, given our situation…"
His eldest sons laughed, his daughter snickered and the little ones giggled. "You are very considerate, however father already spoke to us about this. We have been waiting for the chance to come and help, as well. With us, you won't be blamed for any sudden deaths among them!" his eldest daughter explained.
"Father has a notion, as well. Our youngest brother here… has a particular talent he wants to practice. It's not pleasant, at the same time… no one will notice the difference" said one of the sons.
Yami froze as he turned to Trigun. "We are going to convert them into what I am, right?" he asked with a cheeky smile. "It does get rather boring to being the only one around here…"
"That will change very quickly."
Trigun noticed how a little… unsettled Yami became, however he sighed to this. "I am not a fan of this idea, but I also agreed to this as well… I suppose it is better than just flat out killing them, isn't it?"
Trigun nodded. "If anything, they will have knowledge that we may not be made aware of, for these alchemists have come from all over the world have they not? Perhaps they will have something for the family to learn from and use for their own battles against curses and sorcerers?"
Yami paused to this in consideration. "But they are taking from creatures are they not?"
"Indeed, but with master's approval, we can work on remedies that don't use parts of creatures. I mean there is more than one way to make a potion. Using divine creatures merely speeds up the process and makes it more… functional." Trigun explained. "As well, since divine materials are not known let alone processed that often… humans won't take a second look at it, they will just assume a divine remedy is merely that… divine."
Yami paused to this and nodded in agreement. "I understand, so when do we start? How would you like to go about doing this?" he asked Tanso.
He was rather taken aback but smiled wickedly. He waved Yami outside…

A sharp whistle broke through the silence of the land, it was aloud, it echoed and yet… it resonated with the forest. Yami froze as he felt the ground shake, the sky turn black and then, the trees filled with birds and flying mammals.
On the ground, were powerful four legged creatures. Wolves, foxes, coyotes… even exotic animals like tigers, bears and lions!
"Oh my" Yami whispered.
There had to be thousands before him, and many more he has yet to see or register yet. Trigun snickered as his friend stared out at the summons with utter amazement. "This many?" he asked Tanso.
He smirked and gave a 'so-so' wave of his hand.
This… isn't all of his familiars.
Trigun knew too as he looked to the familiars. "I do believe the master has brought his best familiars to our aid." He explained. "This won't take long at all."
Yami merely nodded his head to all of this, he turned to Tanso and lowered his head. "Sir, I will be in your care. I will help however I can." He decreed.
Tanso suddenly paused as he sensed something, a smirk came over him as a scream came from the woods. Trigun smirked. "Ah, it appears our first victim has arrived."
The person was dragged out of the woods by wolves, grabbing his legs and pulling him towards Tanso without hesitation. The man was in his late forties and yet, he looked rather strong.
"AAAHHH! LET GO YOU BASTARDS LET GO!" he screamed, when he saw Tanso he was yelling at him to help, but, he only smiled and snapped his fingers.
The wolves released him and moved behind the man to ensure he doesn't escape. "Who are you? Why are you here?" Yami demanded.
The man sneered. "I won't say a thing!" he snapped back. "All I know is… I was told I could get priceless materials here by a sorcerer. I came to see if it were true but was attacked by red wolves! What the hell are they!" he demanded.
"Master's familiars." Trigun explained. "Now, these materials, I assume you were told you could gain dragon parts here?" he asked.
The man froze, but his eyes widened in shock. "No… but is that true!?" he demanded "I can get dragon parts here?!"
"Well, you would have to convince the dragons…" he said and hooked his thumb towards Tanso and his family.
That look of greed came over the human, he licked his lips at the notion, and his eyes first came upon the young son with dragon like features. He bore serpent like eyes, a fanged mouth and two small numbs on his forehead. The man didn't hesitate as he rushed in and grabbed the boy. He pulled him close to himself and laughed. "Him! This… this is all I need!" he said in a crazed tone. "A young dragon I can harvest parts off of… how wonderful!"
Trigun merely smirked, Yami froze as he saw this man slowly get absorbed into the child until… he vanished into him!
Yami was rendered silent.
"Did he…" he asked Trigun.
"Wait for it" decreed the young siblings. "It's unpleasant when he does this, at the same time… it's really cool!"
The boy contorted every which way at first until he became still. Trigun peered to his master who smiled proudly. His son's eyes widened as he extended his right hand, and a large glob of slime came out of it!
It hit the ground with a splat before taking form… it became the man who tried to attack him, thankfully clothing and all!
Yami froze and was at the ready, until the man paused, took notice of the young master and prostrated himself. "Sir, I am at your command." He said and placed his hand over his heart.
Tanso nodded proudly to this, Yami was at a loss for words as he stared at the man before him. "Uh… is THIS what you meant?" he asked. "I mean, can you truly turn that many people?"
Trigun smirked. "Easy peasy." He explained. "Young master is especially gifted with such a talent."
"Oh? Are you looking to turn the other alchemist as well?" the man asked. "Permit me to assist you on that! I'm Parker by the way,"
"Nice to meet you. I'm Trigun!"
"Ah, a fellow in arms! Pleasure!" he said and lowered his head. "But truth be told, this human wasn't told of dragon parts being offered here. He was told of a powerful clan that would be able to make his potions work without flaw. However, the name has since escaped me. I apologize," he said.
The young master waved his hands telling his new summons not to apologize for being unable to remember. In fact, Tanso was telling Trigun the conversation. 'My son knows that his creations don't have perfect recall, but that's okay. The main factor is they remember who they were, why they are here and where the others are'
"So… you're going to betray the alchemists?" Yami asked.
Parker paused to the question. "Sir… I am no longer an alchemist." He said proudly. "I am in fact the first of many from my new master. We are his legion now, and sir… I await your order."
Tanso ruffled his son's hair proudly. But his other children were chomping at the bit. "You don't get to hog them all!" His older brothers warned.
He nodded to that. "You want to join us Yami?" Trigun asked.
Yami… hesitated. "I… think I may resign from this and allow you to tend to matters. As well, I maybe a hindrance."
Trigun nodded. "In that case, I'll be back later… and I promise you, these people won't bother you again!"
