Spending some time with Ainz, Shalltear and Albedo return together to discuss their wedding arrangements, which will need a date to become official. Because of that, he was sitting on his seat in his office, reading some documents, when a knock came from the door.
Ainz frowned, shouldn't the maid on duty announce who it is? He wasn't going to make a big deal out of it, because if the maids took a break it would make him happy. " Come in!"
The individual behind the door answered and opened the door. Out from the door came a beautiful blond hair woman in armor, obviously it was the Guardian of the second floor, Vincie.
Kneeling before Ainz's desk, she raised her head, " Father, I arrive as ordered."
Putting the documents aside, Ainz placed his elbows on the desk supporting his chin. He looked at his daughter in more detail, long curly blond hair, with green eyes and beautiful pale complexion.
A silver amour adorn with the insignia of Ainz Ooal Gown around one her right shoulder. By her side, she had a silver long lance that had an arrowhead at the tip.
Overall she was a beautiful human woman worthy of being his creation, the daughter of Ainz Ooal Gown, like her brothers and sisters, and HIM.
"Do you know why I ask you to see me?" Ainz asked, expecting her to give a guess but she shook her head, slightly disappointed, he explained. " Venice, you are my daughter, who is very powerful by Nazarick standards, capable of fighting the Guardians for a moment. I entrusted to you a very important mission, collecting information on Christianity because I trust you. I honestly am not sure if this pantheon exists in this world, however if they do, it will be best to know. Als-" As he was about to continue, Venice stopped him, which was disrespectful but since no one was around was it let go.
"Father, I understand, I make sure to collect as much information as I can." Venice hurriedly spoke as she knew her father would go on for days if she didn't stop him. Last time he spent a few hours telling her why he couldn't be her father yet in the end after she pointed out he created them, he accepted his parenthood.
Hearing Venice, Ainz snapped out of it, coming back to the real world, " It happened again, sign, Venice forgive me. Take this, you are only at level 90 and don't have resistance to mind control so here is a World item, Divine Pillar, which can be used to make an area indestructible, while also granting immunity to other World Class items." Ainz had recovered this back from the Treasury after deciding the missions his servant would have.
For the Guardians each of them had a World Class item, so it was about time she had hers.
Watching her father granting her such a precious item, she became speechless as she understood as he was the Supreme One, he could do as he please.
Wars would erupt to own a World Class item that could affect the world, yet here one was; falling from her father's hand to hers.
"You can go now, update me on your progress weekly. Be careful and make sure you guarantee your safety before anything else. " Ainz watches her leave as he glances at the document next to his right elbow, ' Side Effects if Zeus is Removed'.
He was not a fan of Zeus's arrogant behavior in the myths, especially when he had sex with multiple women and never bothered with the consequences. However no matter how much he looks at it, the effect of not having Zues in this word would be drastic as the Olympians would not be formed.
Of course the benefits of killing Zues were equal, if not more than keeping him around; it's just that he felt he should make Zues grow before deciding anything else.
"Lucky lightning bastard." Ainz whispered, as he burned the document pertaining to killing Zues to ashes before thinking up some other plans.
'Marvelous, Lord Ainz, just marvelous! How far your intellect stretches. You plan about this world before you even conquered the Planet Gown, how else could you explain how you know about this world, with some brief words from Sebas?'
Demiurge cannot fathom the extent of Ainz 'mind no matter how hard he tried but he was sure as he questioned Ainz, his intellect was growing greatly.
Returning to the Seventh Floor, Demiurge began his preparations, collecting some of the treasures he placed in his Blazing Temple.
While he was curious why Ainz placed such importance on a Titan, he believed he should prepare nonetheless.
He gave some orders to the Evil Lords, before giving his Floor one last look.
Arriving outside Nazarick, which was located in a wild open area, his back twitched as his wings came out, dripping with liquid, before he shot into the skies.
The skies were beautiful, full of stars and constellations.
Creamy white clouds spread in the air, giving a clean and soothing atmosphere that he destroyed by his demonic presence.
The ground was littered with hills and vast lands of greenery.
Morning dew bends the tender grass underneath it's weight.
Small little critters, birds, mice, and rabbits seem to contend eating the grass or insects around, seemingly in heaven.
Demiurge smiled looking at the scene as he fixed his glasses and wondered what kind of experiments he could begin in this world.
Lost in thought, he flew in the direction of the rising sun, where the human settlement was located, also where he sensed the strongest power.
If he was Aura he would be able to give an accurate account of how many strong individuals were in that direction and if they were beasts or not, sadly he didn't have Sensory abilities; he only used the abilities all demons had, sensory of soul.
After all, demons are merchants that trade souls amongst each other; and with other creatures through contracts.
Flying for a few minutes, Demiurge paused in the air as he looked down on the backwater civilization, which was a stretch to call it a civilization. The humans look extremely primitive, not only because of the clothes they wear, but the items they carry with them.
So far he had not seen any sign of fire or any important signs of a budding civilization.
Well, they were only mere humans. What can you expect from them?
Hands behind his back, Demiurge scanned for mana and became startled as only a few individuals had mana and even then it was low.
As he scanned, he frowned as he looked at the mountain not too far away, on that mountain he sensed mana of around fifth tier, which is even higher than that of the New World in the beginning.
He unhurriedly flew in that direction and soon arrived on a mountain, with a temple on its peak. The temple seems to have been made for giants as everything was bigger than normal.
Turning invisible, Demiurge arrived and saw a Titan sitting lazily on a makeshift throne with a scythe by his side. He didn't have to use his brain to know this person was Cronos, the King of the Titans and father to the gods that Lord Ainz spoke about.
Looking at the Titan, he frowned as he could sense the Titan was only level 60, which he could kill easily; which said much when he was not a combat oriented person. He didn't rush and planned to observe some more before deciding what to do; he didn't believe the mission Lord Ainz gave would be easy, so he figured something was off.
As he looked at the Titan, he saw it awoke, and grabbed its scythe before walking outside the temple.
Outside the temple was a female titan that was attractive with beautiful curves. Her head of black hair and limped blue eyes. Her body is covered in a green robe that didn't hide her figure much, and instead expresses.
Cronos calmly approaches the female titan and grabs her by the neck, " Rhea, why have you returned? Are you not pleased? Zeus and the rest of my unfilial children have escaped, so why return? Are you here to make fun of me?" Cronos, although renowned for his rashness, was not completely stupid, thus he wanted to know the reason for her return before deciding what to do with her. It was a pity to kill her as she is his beloved wife after all.
Rhea gripped Cronos hand that was around her throat and frailed a little as she could hardly breathe, however she still spoke in an anxious tone, "Cronos, why can't you abdicate your throne and let them rule? The prophecy spoke of them overthrowing you, so why not simply give the throne and remain alive."
Cronos only chuckled, as to what, who knows.
He removes his grip from her neck, caressing her face with love, before returning back into the temple. As he walked back, he seemed to be talking to himself as he muttered, " I don't believe in prophecies, there is no such thing. The reason I don't give them the throne is that they need to grab it on their own. If I give them the throne, even I would look down on them, let alone the mortals that, that Fool created. The mortals won't necessarily worship them, and I don't want them to die as a result of no followers. We Titans are strong because we are born from the union of Gaia and Uranus, primordial deities, so we don't need worship but I notice that they do. I love my children, if not, with that prophecy hanging over my head and with the scythe that could kill even immortals, why would I swallow them instead of killing them?" Cronos eyes close as he smiles slightly before becoming stern and cold blooded the next.
Rhea's eyes became watery as she listened, she knew all along that not everything is as it seems. He was her husband so how couldn't she see what he was thinking? If he wanted Zues and the others dead, how could they remain alive? He ruled the world for a reason, and that's because he was wise but hid it behind his facade of a tyrant.
Gaia might have spread that prophecy to induce a rebellion and concern from Cronos, but Cronos has seen this before it happened and plans accordingly.
Originally she felt hatred and pain whenever she looked at him. After all, which mother wanted to see their children swallowed one by one? However, it seems just like how I love my children, Cronos loved them as well but in a different way.
Demiurge looked on with amusement, as he found everything interesting. He gained some important information by observing. Through this observation, Demiurge wonders if Cronos has to die to promote his children to the throne? He was actually coming to like Cronos a bit, he's a schemer, a schemer that will die in the end to allow his children to replace him. Such a father deserves all the respect.
He somewhat believes he knew a part of Lord Ainz's plans, but the intricacy of it was too big and complicated to unveil.
Coming to himself, Demiurge took his attention to Rhea and lust formed in his eyes, ever since he saw her, he wanted her. She was just so beautiful, her soul seemed very pure, but could easily be changed to evil, he decided he will make her his.
Over the thousand years in Planet Gown, he had been jealous of Sebas and Tsuare relationship, especially with the rare specimen they gave birth to. If he could find a partner and have children, not only would Nazarick get stronger and a new creature might be born, increasing his urge for an offspring.
He could have impregnated any female he wanted but he knew if he claimed them, his offspring would be weak and fail to meet Lord Ainz expectations.
Sebas and Tsuare's child is a rare anomaly that Ainz was happy to see and shower with praise. The child was directly deemed to be a Guardian Candidate for one of the three new floors.
Lord Ainz was only waiting until it fully grew up.
Taking his gaze away from her, he looked back at Cronos and stroked his chin. He messaged Ainz and told him everything he heard and about his interest in Rhea.
[Continue observing, find a way to get that weapon from him, also if possible I like to collect him, he seems like a good addition to Nazarick. As for Rhea, you do know she is the mother of the gods right?] Slight amusement could be heard in the voice of Ainz as he asked Demiurge.
[I know Lord Ainz, however that's another reason to have her. If she could give birth to gods, what would she give birth to when she is with a demon of the highest caliber?]
Ainz ponders and somewhat understands but something bugged him, [Ainz: But you do realize she is in love with Cronos right? Why would she fall for you? Demiurge I forbid you from using your power to make her fall in love with you!] Ainz added as he remembered that Demiurge could control people and the fact that these Titans seem a bit too weak.
Demiurge smiled, before putting Lord Ainz worries to rest. The two talk for a couple more minutes before finishing.
Rhea had long left by the time he finished, but it was easy to find her, as he left the temple and flew in the direction of the open seas.
Flying for a bit, Demiurge saw Rhea on an island with her children and nymphs.
He soon came to know the children's names were Zues, Hades, Poseidon, Hestia, Hera, Demeter, and the caretakers were Adrasteia and Ilda.
Oh, his eyes widen as he looks at a huge black cow laying down on the island.
That's not a normal cow! More like a hybrid between a beast and a holy creature, maybe an angel?
Stroking his chin with amusement, he decides to descend to the ground to meet his future wife and step children.
