4. Chapter 4

Chapter 4 (Arc 1: JAP): Life Will Change

Ichigo awoke, his eyes bolting wide open as he felt the bed that he was sleeping in change into something that sat him upright as his feet and head dangled off of… some sort of couch. Ichigo sat up straight and looked around his surroundings. He looked to be in the bar cart of a train, but it looked more like a recreational or an observation car with its layout. Massive windows behind him revealed the sight of a blue velvet city, with a massive tower looming over it being seen from the glass windows that surrounded him. Across from where he was sitting was an empty seat, also with a strange blue velvet texture as the rest of the room and outside, and a brown mahogany desk sitting in front of it.

"Ah, you made it… so I guess what you showed me was true."

Ichigo turned his head to the bar, where he saw Theodore, not in the usual outfit he usually wore, gone was the outfit of the blue-garbed elevator attendant, and now in its place was a blue and black bartender uniform, a black dress shirt hugged tightly against him thanks to two black overalls, although they were very hard to see, and a blue bowtie hung from his neck. Tight against his hands were a pair of blue velvet gloves with a golden insignia embroidered on the back of each palm. His dress pants were deep blue and his shoes were thick black leather. He reached behind him and grabbed a Blue suit vest with the same golden insignia sewn into the fabric of the pockets, and put it on.

"I am sorry for the state of this place, I didn't have enough time to clean it," said Theodore as he put the vest on.

"Where the hell am I Theo?" asked Ichigo

He chuckled at that, "Right! This is your first time here! Ah I remember the first time I heard such a reaction as well. But that is beside the point" said Theodore as he walked out from behind the bar and bowed before me, "Welcome to the Velvet Room."

"The Velvet Room? When did you have the time to bring me here?" "Well, this place is between dream and reality, mind and matter. Only those who have signed the contract can enter this place, the contract can range from person to person, but for you, it was accepting my help as your guide that brought you here in your dreams."

"So, you're saying that I, or at least my body, is still in my room?" "Yes!" said Theodore, "you are picking this up faster than some others, I am thankful for that." He said as he walked back behind the bar counter and began to pour Ichigo a drink, "Would you like one? All it is is Water, Honey, Lemon, and a little sugar."

Ichigo looked at him making the drink, and then walked over to sit at the bar, using one of the blue silk cushioned bar stools to sit on as he rested his arms on the marble countertop, and as soon as he did, a small shot glass filled with the Water, Honey, Lemon, and Syrup Sugar mixture slid before him. "So… Why am I here?" asked Ichigo before downing the shot.

"Well, there are many reasons, but they all lead to the same thing, The World coming to Ruin." said Theodore, "My master, the one who oversees the velvet room, has gone missing recently. Margret, my eldest sister, estimates that his disappearance will cause massive ramifications to those who hold the wild card, being manipulated, being thrown into a game that they are unable to win. And worst of is, my youngest sister is gone as well. And if she is gone alongside our master, I do not know how this will affect the state of the world."

Ichigo was Silent as Theodore spoke, his body was shaking when mentioned "The world coming to ruin" and the like, whatever was going on… it was big.

"I am sorry to ask this of you Ichigo, but can you please assist me in finding my master?" asked Theodore "How would I even be able to help? If what you say is true about your master and whoever your youngest sister is, I would need my powers to even think about effectively helping you out!"

"Ah, but you are already in a perfect state to help! You just don't know it yet." said Theodore, "Besides, I didn't expect an answer right away, not only that, but the night is about to turn today, so you must awaken. We shall speak again tonight."

"Oh… okay?" said Ichigo, "How the hell am I supposed to go home from he-

(4/11/2016, Early Morning-(5:30)-Potential Rain)

'Oh… right, wake up… that is how.' Ichigo thought as he sat up from his bed, and grabbed the phone that Mizuru got him for Christmas, he checked the time and sighed, 'Damn it, woke up late again.'

He stood up and strolled over to the bathroom.

"Morning Mako-san!" said Ichigo as he crossed paths with Makoto on the way out of the bathroom

"Morning Ichigo-kun," said Makoto before walking over to her room, "You're up later than usual."

"Yha, stayed up late talking with my sisters and the goat face!" said Ichigo before ducking into the bathroom, and a few minutes later, he left the room and walked back to his own

When he got back into the room, he walked over to the wardrobe, grabbed his Shujin Academy uniform, Minus the jacket, and put it on… before swiftly taking off the turtle neck and grabbing a White button up shirt with the Shujin Logo sewn into the collar, he grabbed his Shujin academy school bag and a collection of pins and other accessories, related to bands he liked, that Orihime and Yuzu got him for Christmas and put the last of them on the bag before slinging it over his shoulder and walked out of his room, to see Makoto walking out of the massive studio apartment.

"You coming to Ichigo? You are gonna be late to school!" said Makoto

"I don't have any clubs and shit to get to, I will catch up!" said Ichigo, "Besides, I got to eat!"

"Well before I go, I heard we are gonna get a transfer student today, Just wanted to let you know so then you can give him a tour," said Makoto

"Why me? Can't you or any of the other student council members do it?" asked Ichigo before tossing a homemade food bar over to Makoto, who sufficiently caught it.

"Because we are too busy today." said Makoto, "Thanks for the food!"

"Yha whatever," Ichigo said as he playfully rolled his eyes and got back to trying to find something to eat… as well as stashing another Homemade food bar in his bag. He settled on some leftover rice from the night before and took it to go, leaving the building… before opening the door again grabbing his keys, and closing the door.

It took about 30 minutes for him to get onto the train, with the train taking about 30 minutes in total to get to the station and to the destination Ichigo stepped off the train as soon as he got the opportunity to… which ALSO took a while to do, about 20 minutes for that. He walked out of the train and soon after out of the station, and instantly cursed under his breath.

"God damn it, why did I forget my umbrella during the rainy season!" said Ichigo before running under a building's awning, he was the only one there for the time being, watching the other students walk by with their umbrellas and jackets on, and it doing nothing under all the rain beating down on them. Although there was one more person that did join him.

A teenage boy with black hair and black eyes was covered slightly by his hair and thick-rimmed glasses. The boy was a little shorter than Ichigo, with the boy assumed to be at least 5' 9 while Ichigo stood over him at a height of 5' 11. He wore the entire Shujin uniform, bag and all, with no form of customization at all…

'That is strange. At least the bags are customized when it comes to the other students.' thought Ichigo, 'I could ask him why… but he might not know you can customize your outfits and bags… Huh… he must be the transfer.'

Before Ichigo could introduce himself, another person ran under the awning, a teenage girl whose outfit he recognized without even needing to look over at her. However, the transfer looked at her like Ann Takamaki was the most beautiful woman in the world, especially when she pulled down the hood of her hoodie and let her hair flow freely. I could tell that after she did, she recognized that the transfer was looking at her, and waved to him, to which he responded with one of his own. Ichigo smiled at the small interaction before it died down and turned into a frown as a car pulled up. He recognized the car… and honestly, he hated the person within it, Kamoshida Suguru.

"Good Morning! Do your kids need a ride to school? This rain is getting pretty bad, your gonna be late!" said Kamoshida

Before Ann or the Transfer could say ANYTHING, Ichigo Spoke up, "Nah, I know a shortcut, we are just taking a quick pit stop for a friend of mine to catch up."

Kamoshida scowled at that before returning to his usual smile. "Ok! See you all at school!" he said before driving off.

Ichigo mumbled something under his breath, not because he didn't want it to be heard, no it was because someone said it for him.

"Damn it! Screw that pervy teacher!" said a blonde-haired teenage boy that Ichigo knew all too well over the past few months that he had been here. Sakamoto Ryuji

"Pervy Teacher?" said the transfer student, witched then gained the attention of Ryuji, Ann, and Ichigo

Ryuji walked up to the transfer student, almost like he was trying to intimidate him, "What do you want?" He said, "You Plannin' on rattin' me out to Kamoshida?"

"Who's Kamoshida?" asked the transfer student

"Huh? In that car just now, it was Kamoshida. He does whatever the hell he wants. Who the hell does he think he is- the king of a castle? Don't you agree?"

"'Yuji I-"

"I still have no idea who you mean." said the transfer matter-a-factly, "And king of what castle?"

"No I mean," Ryuji began to speak to himself for a minute, "Wait a second, you DON'T know who Kamoshida is? Are you for real?" He said before finally a question donned on him, "You're from Shujin, right?"

"Yup, He is a transfer." Ichigo said with a small laugh at his friend's expense, "I think he starts today, Not sure tho."

"That's right, I am going to begin my studies here from today on as a second year."

"Nice, although right now I am more happy about Ryuji not having to embarrass himself trying to figure it out," Ichigo said somewhat teasingly

Ryuji sputtered at that and then Slapped Ichigo across the back, "Come on dude! I was gonna figure it out!"

"I know you were but still, I am glad the transfer was helping you out like this!" said Ryuji

"Still, did you need to walk up on him all intimidating-like?" asked Ann

"I wasn't trying to be that scary," said Ryuji

"Besides, you weren't all that intimidating even if you were trying." said the transfer

"Eh, whatever." Said Ryuji, The rain doesn't look too bad, I think we can just book it from here."

"So Ichigo-san knows a shortcut? Sweet! I just hope it isn't too soaked wherever we are going," said Ann

"Yes, I don't have a hoodie to cover me." said The transfer jokingly before he and everyone else buckled over in pain, "God damn what was that?"

"I don't know, whatever it was sure was a quick pain," said Ichigo

"Eh, it was probably a headache or something," said Ryuji, "Come on, we don't want to incur the wrath of missy prissy student council president."

As the trio followed Ryuji through the winding corridors of the alleyway, leading to the school, the maze-like corridors twisting and turning to their destination, and the sight of what they came across… was shocking.

"Wha-?"

A massive castle, built tall with marble bricks and sandstone pillars, with the height of the palace itself being indeterminate. It looked nothing like Shujin Academy, yet the sign-up front… it proved them wrong, this WAS Shujin academy… but it was easy to be mistaken for anywhere else.

"We didn't…" Ryuji turned to look behind him, "Come the wrong way though. Yha, this SHOULD be right"

"W-What the hell!?" asked Ann, "where is the school!"

"I don't know! We came the right way and everything! I know, because I take this route to school almost exclusively!" said Ryuji, "Hell, it is how Ichigo knows, I taught him this route!"

"Are you sure that we did not take a wrong turn somewhere 'Yuji-Kun?" asked Ann

"100% sure!" said Ryuji.

Everyone looked toward the entrance of the palace… and in a split second, EVERYONE knew what needed to be done, "Guess we got to go in." said Ryuji before beginning to walk into the building.

"Wha- Ryuji! What are you doing!" Demanded Ann

"Getting answers I guess." Said Ryuji.

"Are you sure that this isn't some kind of movie set?" Asked the Transfer

"Not sure." said Ichigo, "If there was, you would think the Student counsel would know what is going on."

They made it into the building, the entire area was lined to the brim with blood-red carpets and drapes, golden liner, and marble inlay, and anything that wasn't made from those materials was made of some other type of gem or mineral, leather or African blackwood.

"That's weird. Where is the school?" asked Ryuji

"Are you positive we did not take a wrong turn?" asked the transfer

"Ok, Now you are starting to sound like a broken record," said Ryuji teasingly, to which the transfer responded in kind with raised shoulders.

"He is right though, we are in the right place," said Ichigo.

"The sign outside basically confirmed it too… so what is going on?" asked Ann before checking her phone, "We're in the dark here on our cells too."

"Damn, for real? No service!" said Ryuji before checking his phone, "you can't be serious!"

"The banners did read Shujin, right?" asked Ichigo, to which he only got nods of affirmation in response.

"Halt!"

Everyone turned to look in the direction of the voice, only to see an armored man with a sword walking toward them.

"Geez, you freaked me out… Who are you anyway, you a student?" asked Ryuji

"Uh, 'Yuji… I don't think that this guy is a student." said Ann

"Unless there was some sort of weird mock-up day the third years get to do that we weren't told about." said the Transfer Student, which caused Ichigo to laugh a little bit.

Ryuji however, did not hear that joke as he walked up to the "Student", "Man, your costume is impressive… is that armor real?" he asked and he got no answer, "C'mon, Don't just stand there all silent like. Say something."

"Uh, Ryu-"

Another "Student" Walked up soon after, and it was MASSIVELY clear now that whatever was going on, was not gonna be good for them in the long term.

"H-Hey, What's going on here?" questioned Ann

"This must be a prank." said The transfer, grabbing onto Ann's shoulder and trying to get her away from the knights, almost like he knew that what was going on… was not good news.

"I don't think that this is at this rate," Ichigo said, "Let's get the hell out of here!"

"You don't gotta tell me twice!" said Ryuji before he started to run toward the -BOOM!- He fell to the floor, and he was hit in the back of the head by a third guy with a shield.

"Ryuji!" Shouted Ichigo and Ann before Ichigo ran toward the Faux Blonde and delivered a punch directly to the head of one of the knights before turning back, "GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE YOU TW-" It was too late for them, Ann, in the process of running was grabbed by a few of the knights, the transfer was the same, his arm being twisted behind his back to keep him restrained, but he kept fighting, kicking at the knight that held him in place, although he was close to giving up. "SONOVA!" Ichigo roared before landing another punch on the knight's face and snatching its sword from him, although he failed to do so… so it was time for plan b.

"TRANSFER!"

(Pov Ren Amamiya)

"I don't think that this is at this rate," Ichigo said, "Let's get the hell out of here!"

I instantly pulled Ann with me as we tried to escape, we could hear Ryuji saying something, and then a thud, I could see Ann looking behind her, and then shouting, "RYUJI!" She tried to run back toward him but was stopped by a knight getting in her way.

"Get away from her you creep!" I said as I pushed her away from the knight and buried my fist into the knight's mask. He grabbed my arm and twisted it behind my back, in a way that I could see Ann having the same happen to her, her arms bound behind her back. I kicked at the knight's shins and tried my best to free myself, I wanted to save myself, I wanted to save them! I wanted-

"TRANSFER!"

I was roused out of my thoughts, and I looked toward Ichigo. He was trying his hardest to make sure that Ryuji could get back up, but even those knights were beginning to be too much for him, but he still kept fighting.

"DON'T GIVE UP YET! DON'T WORRY ABOUT ME OR RYUJI OK! JUST GET ANN AND GET OUT OF HERE!"

"BU-"

"THEN FIGHT TO MAKE SURE WE ALL GET OUT!" Said Ichigo, almost as if he knew what I was about to say.

Could I? Could I be able to do this? Would I be able to save them? Could I? Would it be a mistake if I did?

"What's the Matter? Are you simply going to hesitate when you have the power to fight?"

My eyes widened, my heart began to race, my eyes began to water and dry out at the same time, my heart started to beat in the rhythm of a song… a song I liked when I was a kid I think.

"Are you going to forsake them to save yourself? Death awaits you all if you do nothing, was your previous choice to lead you down this path a mistake?"

My heart's beat turned more consistent, it resembled the song more and more as the voice spoke to me, My eyes felt like they were on fire, my tears evaporating as soon as my eyes were able to produce them, my skin felt flaky and moist at the same time, and then I spoke,

"I will… Save them."

I could tell the beat now, I could feel it like it was a part of me, my own body feeling freer as this beat flowed through my body, I ripped myself free of the restraints of the knights on hand, Ripping the hand of the being off in the process, and falling to the ground. I could hear the voice in my head laughing, and it became clearer and clearer within my mind, almost as if there was a physical weight to his laughter, I could feel a burning weight on my face.

"Very well… I have heeded your resolve. Vow To Me, Ren Amamiya. I am thou, Thou art I… Thou who art willing to perform all sacrilegious acts for thine own justice! Thou Life Has changed! CALL UPON MY NAME, AND RELEASE THY RAGE!"

As he said all of this, I stood to my feet, I couldn't see their faces, all but one, the visage of the man that commanded these knights… no, these were not Knights, SHADOWS, my mind corrected for me, "I hear you, ARSENE!"

In an instant, the burning stopped, and my hands soared to my face and grasped at a massive weight on my face, as I tried to rip it off, my beating heart beat even loader to the sound of Lyn's "Life Will Change'', my blood incinerating my veins and my face as I ripped off the thing on my face, until… It happened. In a pain-filled scream, I ripped off the mask upon my face and saw my blood turn into a torrent of blue flames that burned in the rhythm of my heart's beat, I could feel this same fire flowing around my body in that very same torrent as my soul BLAZED around my very core… and lifted it upward. I could tell my face was in a permanent smirk, my eyes, flickering between seeing the world in Blue, Black, and Gold and normal reality.

"W-What the hell?!" shouted a golden armored Shadow at the top of the stairs, "KILL HIM YOU FOOLS!"

"Are you ready to embrace our true power my Mon Seigneur"

"Yes. Let us Ravage them, Arsene!" I said before running toward one of the un-transformed shadows and sliding underneath the legs of the shadow, and then leaped up onto its shoulders and grasped at its mask, "SHOW ME YOUR TRUE FORM!" I said as I ripped off its mask and backflipped off the knight it riggled and writhed as it transformed into a Jack O'lanturn with a cloak and a lantern in hand, and all the others that were around the rest of Ichigo and his friends transformed into the same, My smirk grew larger as I could feel Arsene merge back onto my body in the form of a mask.

"Ladies and Gentlemen! It seems like six Jack O' Lanterns have decided that it was a good idea to mess with me and my crew! I guess Ren Amamiya got to extinguish the flames and smash some pumpkins!" I said before ripping off my mask once again, "Arsene! Use Eiha, and draw and corner THAT pumpkin-shaped buffoon!" I said, before sprinting toward the one that was closest to Ann, and seeing that the Pumpkin burst into flames of dark purple, crimson, and black, Before I delivered two strikes with a knife… Wait, Where did THAT come from?! Questions for later I guess. I backflipped and using Arsene, I delivered another cutting blow to the Jack O'lanturn using Arsene's physical damage attacks, then pointed toward Ichigo and Ryuji and aimed my finger at one of the Jack O'lanterns close by them, and making a gun shooting motion, witch Arsene responded with in kind by firing two shots at the Jack O' Lantern troop.

"Bang baby!" I said before pointing to Ichigo, Ryuji, and Ann, "Go a little deeper down! I will catch up in a few!"

I could see Ann nodding before sprinting off toward the door behind me, I could tell she met up with Ryuji and Ichigo because of them shouting something about my clothes… wait, my clothes were different?! I paid good money for them!

"Hey, Transfer!"

I turned to see Ichigo, "Wassup?"

"Be safe ok," he said before running to catch up to Ryuji and Ann.

"You got it." I said with a smirk, "Ok Arsene! Let's give them some time!"

"Gladly Mon Seigneur"

I rushed forward, delivering three slashes to one of the Jack O'Lanturns as it looked to cast a fireball attack in my direction, I dodged it, only barely, and ignited it with an Eiha to the face. I then dashed backward as it burned to ashes and ran toward the door Ichigo and the others ran through, Using Arsene to shoot at the shadows behind me, using, what I know now, is a skill called Single Shot, and running toward the group. My eyes' perception flashed into a state of Blue, Black, and Gold again, with three sets of footsteps lighting up golden as I ran toward where they went, Banking left the second I saw they went that way… down a spiral staircase… well I can't blame them for trying!

I ran deeper toward them, but there was a problem, I could hear the voices of animosity behind me, I looked behind me, not seeing what was there yet, but I could tell that it was a deep crimson aura mixing with some blue and yellow auras from behind the spiral, I smirked using Eiha to set the ground below my current position ablaze with cursed fire, and launching myself beck downward toward Ichigo, Ryuji and Ann. The strangest part was, Their Aura was burning up too, almost like how it was for me when I summoned Arsene… and there was another one there with them, someone with an Emerald Aura.

"That is odd… why are they igniting like that?"

(Back with Ichigo, Ryuji, and Ann)

The trio rocketed off the steps in a flash, it was almost hard to tell that they even stopped to rest as they ran down the spiral staircase to what they thought was freedom, only to come upon a dungeon.

"Oh God damn it!" Shouted Ryuji

"Calm down Ryuji! There has got to be some way out from here. At least, I hope there is." said Ann

"Well, there is only one way to be sure I suppose." said Ichigo, "Let's stick together and look for a way out."

"What about that transfer student? Don't you think they might get lost?" asked Ann

"From the looks of it, I doubt it. It seems like whatever happened back there really caused something to change in him. He was quiet yet sassy when we first met and now? I have no idea what the hell happened" said Ichigo

"Well whatever happened, It sure did come in effen handy!" said Ryuji

"Understatement of the year right there." said Ann, before looking forward and cursing, "Fuck, The bridge is out!"

Truth be told, Ichigo did not expect that out of her, but she was right, the bridge was indeed raised. "Well, I guess we gotta get this down somehow. Do you guys see any switches around here?"

"I do!" said A girlish boy's voice

The trio looked shocked for a moment, or as shocked as Ichigo could look, before looking at each other, "Uh, did you say that" Ichigo said to Ryuji

"No… Did you Ann?" asked Ryuji, and all he got was a hardy shake of her head.

"Hey! Over here!"

Ichigo looked over across the moat, seeing jail cells across it, just like the ones they passed on the way here. It looked empty… but there was a voice coming from it.

"Uh… Hi?" asked Ichigo, "We can't see you."

"I am short! And there are a bunch of crates in front of me!"

"That makes sense," said Ryuji

"Do you know where we can find a way out of here?" asked Ann

"Yes! I know how to get out of here! Just get me out of this damn jail cell and then I can help you three get out of here!"

"Better than nothing I guess." said Ann, "Think we should help him?"

"Why not? We have no time to worry about any of this considering," said Ichigo

"MEN GET THEM!"

"That. Considering that." said Ichigo, "I think we don't have much of a choice."

"We don't know if this… whatever they are, is working with these guys! You saw the painting back there, right? These assholes are working with KamoShithead!" said Ryuji

"As Ichigo said, We don't have a choice, besides, he is in a Jail cell! That should be proof enough that he is at least now working with the bad guys!" said Ann

"I can confirm! I was locked in here!"

"There we go then!" said Ann, "Trust me on this ok!"

"Ok, Let's do this," said Ryuji, and Ichigo only nodded in response

"Ok! We will help you! Can you tell us where we can find the switch to this bridge?" asked Ann

"Pull on the jaw of the statue!"

They all looked confused at that, before Ryuji looked over to an area beside the bridge, seeing a Kamoshida statue he walked over to it and pulled on its lower jaw… and it slowly glided down as he pulled it. And the bridge came down as well.

"Hell yha!" said Ryuji before running over to the cell and saying, "Thanks, dude! Now, Let's get… you out of here…"

Ann and Ichigo were quick to follow behind, With Ann saying, "Hey, what's wrong"

Soon all three of them were looking into the cell, and what they saw shocked them, it was a small anthropomorphic tuxedo cat that was standing on two legs, it was wearing a yellow ascot.

"Well? Are you three gonna get me out of here or what?" asked the "Talking Cat Thing"

Ann and Ryuji only started to scream at that fact, Meanwhile, Ichigo looked confused at the fact that this cat was more cartoony than what he was used to… That being a normal talking cat.

"Ok… your appearance aside, Where are the keys?" asked Ichigo

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN ASIDE FROM HIS APPEARANCE!" Shouted Ann and Ryuji before Cat continued

"It is on that wood beam over there! And don't be so loud! The guards will hear you, and even though I can fight, I can't take more than 6 of them before I get overwhelmed." said the "Weird Cat Thing" pointing to the wooden beam behind Ichigo

Ichigo nodded and did as the "Weird Cat Thing" said, grabbing the keys and opening the cell door, "I guess there are more cats like Yoroichi out there, Anyhow you said you know how to get out of here?"

"Yup! And I am not a cat!"

"You look like a cartoon cat!" said Ryuji

"Guys! Focus!" said Ann "We need to get out of here!"

"I am getting to that." said the "Weird-Not-Cat thing", "Before that, where did you guys come from in this place?"

"Upstairs." said everyone else

"THAT IS WHERE THE EXIT IS YOU IDIOTS!" Screamed the weird cat thing

"Well, we needed to come down here because we were surrounded!" said Ryuji

"Do you know any other way out?" asked Ichigo.

"No… the only places CLOSE to being an exit are going to be well guarded, and even then, I don't know of any secret passages or tunnels around here." it said, "Besides the main entrance there is one other way… although we are going to need to go Upstairs to get there."

"Shit!"

"What is it?" asked Ann

"You can fight those things?" asked Ryuji

"We need all the help we can get if Morgana can fight, we let them help," said Ichigo

"What is this? Apprehension! I got this!" said Morgana

"Uh? Guys?"

"What is it Ann- Oh shit." said both Ryuji and Ichigo

"I told you both they would come if you kept yelling!" said Morgana all sarcastically, "Then again I am also at fault here. So that is my bad."

Almost as if it was foretold by a prodigal child, there was a hoard of knights in front of them, all of them with swords, lances, axes, hammers and even bows drawn upon the group, but there were two golden knights that began to part the sea of knights before them, almost as if they were the ones behind all this… but judging by the voice that could be heard as they walked through the hoard of knights. They only served a bigger master.

"Honestly, After all of this, Death as a punishment is a tame punishment for what I have in mind for you all now."

The knights up at the front split to let the golden knights walk past them, but both of them were flanking the man who was the source of all of their problems. Kamoshida Suguru. The man looked different, mainly when it came to what he was wearing, his eyes were golden and his body was only covered by a red cape lined with white fur and embroidered with pink hearts.

"Kamoshida? What the hell? Why the hell are you dressed like that? And what do you mean by killing us bein-... Oh god."

"Why? Why am I dressed to absolute perfection? Why was I going to punish you by killing you all? Because I am the goddamn king! I can do whatever the hell I want!" said Kamoshida, "Now, As I said, It seems like your sentence alone has gotten worse, you sonofabitch!" Before he slammed Ryuji in the Stomach with Kamoshida's fist, causing Ryuji to spit up blood.

"RYUJI!" Both Ann and Ichigo before Ichigo stepped before Kamoshida, attempting to defend his friend, "What the hell was that for, asshole!"

"As I said, I can do what I want. And you all are trespassing upon MY castle! MY DOMAIN! And taking away my own Beautiful Ann? It is just the tip of the fucken iceberg!" said Kamoshida before doing what he did to Ryuji, to Ichigo, "So I plan to make you ALL suffer," He said with a demonic-looking smile on his face before grabbing Ichigo's arm, "Right before you all die. Except for my beautiful Ann," He pulled Ichigo's arm out, and as much as Ichigo tried to fight the force of the man, he could not escape his grasp as he Kneed Ichigo's elbow, destroying Ichigo's arm, "THE SAME WOMAN YOU TOOK FROM ME!"

Ichigo cried out in pain as this happened, His arm was released and it fell limply to his side as he screamed out.

"ICHIGO!" Shouted Ann and Ryuji before Ryuji sprinted forward and tried to deck Kamoshida in the face, "YOU FUCKEN BASTARD!"

Kamoshida smirked grabbed Ryuji's arm, and delivered a kick to Ryuji's leg, the same one that was once broken, shattering the bones in his leg, forcing the broken bones out of the back of his legs, stabbing through the flesh.

"GOD!" Ryuji shouted in pain.

"You three! Get behind me!" said Morgana, before running in front of them, and in a torrent of blue fame and the shouting of the name, "ZORRO!" Morgana fell to the ground with Zorro standing behind him, casting a bright green light behind him, Dia, targeting Ichigo and Ryuji, healing their injuries, "I can take this MONSTER!" said Morgana

"Not without help Morgana-Cat thing!" said Ryuji, "I can take the hits for you!"

"Oh? What's this? Is the Track Traitor finally working in a team? Please don't make me laugh!" said Shadow Kamoshida

"Track Traitor?" asked Morgana and Ichigo

"Shut the hell up, you bastard! I am done with you!" said Ryuji before sprinting toward the Caped king, He tried throwing a few punches with all of them missing their mark as Shadow Kamoshida dodged, before headbutting Ryuji's head, "EFFEN! Take this, YOU EFFEN BASTARD!" he said before delivering a punch to Shadow Kamoshida's stomach. Ryuji smirked before his smirk turned into a look of shock. He watched the man he thought was doubled over in pain, but he looked into the eyes of the man… no, MONSTER in front of him. The golden eyes bored into his brown one.

"You are nothing. Nothing more than a shit stain on my perfect world, Now why don't you do me a favor, AND FUCKEN KILL YOURSELF YOU FUCKEN DISGRACE TO HUMANITY!" Said Kamoshida, before delivering a punch to Ryuji's head, sending the boy toppling down to the ground.

"RYUJI!" shouted Ichigo and Ann, With both of them running toward Ryuji, and Morgana was close behind, running to see if his "Defender" was ok.

"RYUJI! PLEASE! PLEASE GET UP!" shouted Ann, Shaking the teen, trying to rouse him from his knocked-out state. Tears streaming down her face.

"Please Ryuji! Don't give up! Don't let this guy win! Don't let his words get to you!" said Ichigo

"Come on kid! Get Up!" said Morgana

"Why the fuck do you three care for that disgrace?" said Kamoshida, Mockingly, with the biggest shit-eating grin on his face, "He has done nothing for this world, unlike me, and when allowed to succeed with my teachings, he spits in my face and gives up on his "Dream" Spouting BULLSHIT like me "abusing" him! Does someone seem like the type of person that you want to see roaming the streets?"

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" said Ryuji, he slowly pushed himself to his feet, his face contorted in anger, a SEETHING rage that could be seen in his eyes… and something they only saw once before. A mask on Ryuji's face, in the shape of a skull. "I am tired of you spitting this BULLSHIT! I am tired of you being this stuck-up, abusive, narcissistic ASSHOLE! I don't give a shit who or what the fuck you are, I WILL NOT GIVE UP. I WILL NOT FALL WHEN IT COMES TO YOU!"

As he said this, He placed his hand on his mask and ripped it off with no issue, the fire in his veins ignited in a blaze of glory as it formed into the form of his persona, Captain Kidd, and the spirit of rebellion ignited fourth, Ryuji's clothes burned away and transformed into something new, something befitting of his true form.

"Alright!" he said before looking right into the terrified eyes of Kamoshida, "LET'S RIP HIM APART PERSONA!" roared Ryuji. Before charging once again at Kamoshida, He ducked behind one of the golden knights, who currently was wielding a hammer that was about to slam into Ryuji, but Captain Kidd blocked the hammer strike with its cannon arm, Ryuji slammed his fist into the knight's torso and grabbed the hammer, before slamming it directly into the knights head, caving it in with minimal effort, and to add extra insult to the injury, Captain Kidd shot it with a cannonball made of lightning to launch it back into the hoard of knights.

"Suck on THAT assholes!" said Ryuji

"Nice work Kid!" Said Morgana, "Let's Keep this party going!" Zorro stepped forward and waved its sword in order to make a "Z" from the tip of his blade, and just as he finished a small tornado of wind, Garu, whipped up from under the knights sending them upward. "NOW KID!"

"Got it! Let's go Captain!" said Ryuji before running up to the staggered Knights and slamming them with his hammer, infusing it with electricity and letting it course through the knight he slammed. The knights stood at attention and began to transform, most of them transforming into Pixies and Bicorns, and of course Jack O'Lanturns. They charged at the group, getting ready to fight… Before The transfer student, Ren Amamiya, Leaped in front of them.

"Did I leave you all waiting?" asked Ren

"Transfer!" shouted Ryuji, Ann, and Ichigo before Ryuji continued, "Look, man! I got sick persona power too!"

"Looking good, And don't call me transfer, the names… I guess it's not that important right now, Come on, Let's get the hell out of here!" said Ren before Dropping an Eiha flame on top of them, "That should hold some of them back."

"Then let's get the hell out of here!" said Ann

The rest of the group nodded, before Morgana ran forward ahead of the group, with everyone else following behind him.

"GET THEM YOU IDIOTS!" shouted Kamoshida as they left them in the dust.

"How long do you think that is gonna hold them back?" asked Ryuji

"Considering that the other bunch was following behind me before I dropped that… Imma say."

The door to the staircase burst open and a hoard of guards began to pile out of it and began to transform into a bunch of Jack O'Lanturns.

"That… That long," said Ren

"Better than nothing, that was a good… what, 5 minutes?" asked Ryuji

"2," said Ren

"Minutes?" asked Ryuji

"..."

"Oh god we are screwed," said Ryuji

"We got three fighters… against about 50." said Morgana, "I like those odds, We just need to keep calm and fight hard."

"Right." said Both Ryuji and Ren

"Ok! Joker, Skull, Let's get these guys!" said Morgana before leaping forward and unleashing a few more Garus upon the Jack O'Lanturns, Knocking them down and killing them instantly. Meanwhile, Joker and Ryuji pelted the ones coming from behind with Zios and Eihas, hitting some of the Bicorns and Pixies, killing them without much effort, but no matter how much power they put into their attacks, or how fast they dispatched the enemies. They couldn't hold out forever.
