Approaching the gods and titaness, Demiurge made sure they knew of his presence before making his appearance, as this will allow for their guard to be lowered, and give them a false sense of security.
Even after making his appearance known, they still reacted startled, all of them but Rhea and the nymphs.
He understood that Rhea would notice his presence as she had control over many aspects relating to Earth.
He didn't have much information about the capabilities of the nymphs of this world though, but it seems they might not necessarily be as simple as they seem.
"Don't be startled, I come in peace." Demiurge did a slight bow, as he continued, " I go by the name, Demiurge."
Rhea came in front of her children and hid them behind her.
She didn't know why she did that but she felt that this person in front of her wasn't simple and was dangerous.
For one, even though he looks human, a mortal, she notices a sense of time radiating off his body, something only immortals possess.
Zues and the others look at Demiurge with confusion and suspicions as they were baffled as to how a mortal appeared on the island.
Zues was sure he had hid the island with his divine powers, making it so not even the Titans would notice it amongst the many islands, yet this human found this island.
Hades, Hestia, Hera and Demeter were calm as they didn't sense a need to overreact, especially Hades.
Hades for one knew they weren't a match for the being in front of them, his presence was like a black hole that sucked in the light around him, even their presence was like a flickering of candlelight before him.
Poseidon's reaction was more violent and moody than his siblings, as the seas and oceans rocked back and forth as the anger of the young god exploded.
Demiurge smirked a little as he was amused at these gods' reaction. He had to admit he was surprised at the boy's control over such a vast amount of water, but the fact remained he wasn't something that could be shaken by droplets of water.
Something caught his eyes as he was watching the gods, he noticed one of the gods, the one who wore all black, and possessed black eyes that seemed bottomless, observing him like how he observed his experiments back in Nazarick.
He felt a slight affinity towards people of the same field, so he nodded a little to the boy as a sign of appreciation.
The other gods, the goddesses, were uninteresting in his opinion.
First, they were acting calmly but that calmness wasn't brought about by realization of the difference in power, it was instead calmness stemming from blind stupidity.
He would not entertain such useless people, be it gods or not.
Everything seemed to take a long time but only seconds had passed, such was the speed the mind of Demiurge, the Shepherd of Nazarick, operated at.
A detailed analysis was born, weaknesses and strengths were dissected before a plan was formulated in case of battle.
'Much can be learned if not spoken, much can be seen when the eyes remain close.' These are words the Demon of Greater Disaster, Ulbert Olde Alain had uttered, when he was creating him.
Getting serious, Demiurge's back became ram straight and his expression cold as ice, "I shall be blunt, I'm not human, nor am I what you fellows are. I came here for one reason and that is to court Rhea, she will become my wife, if not, you all will die. As for you a lot, your demise means little to me, then again you are not destined for death, so fear not."
While Lord Ainz said he cannot use his powers to court Rhea, he never said he couldn't threaten her.
At the end of the day he was at the highest hierarchy of demons, someone that gets what he wants.
Demon's way of courting is both brutal and straightforward, if I see something I like, I get it, simple as that.
However even as the highest amongst demons, Lord Ainz words rule over all creatures, whether it be gods or demons, so he cannot disobey Lord Ainz, thus all he had been doing was in line with his Lord's words.
Everyone became shocked by what the human in front of them said, no this unknown creature.
They cannot believe such words were utter out of the mouth of a mortal.
To them, if Demurge wasn't a human or an immortal Titan, he had to be an unknown mortal creature.
To them, the only immortal creatures were the Primordial Deities, the Three Fates, and Titans, everything else was mortal, and the most famous mortals are humans that came about through unknown means.
None of the immortals has claimed the honor of being the creator of the human race, so the race's origins are still shrouded in mystery.
Rhea was not like the others as she felt her heart skip a beat, her back became full with cold sweat as she sensed primordial fear of true death before her.
She knew this being in front of her might be the one that had been observing her back at the temple, but she didn't want it to be so!!
If what he said was true, she won't have any choice but to obey him and leave with him or else he will kill her children, but she hesitates as she didn't know what he meant by not destined to die yet.
Could he have some connection to the Three Fates?
Gritting her teeth, Rhea wonders if she should fight, she has great control over the earth, and many other abilities that can rival even her husband under the right conditions but she doubts she could affect the creature before her in any way.
Looking back at her children, she saw the confused and angry looks on their faces and was hesitating even more!
If she surrenders, her children will be saved, but her love for her husband would tarnish and she would live in despair at this beings whims.
As she was lost on what to do, she didn't notice the skies had become dark and thunderous as ripples appeared in the skies and a huge skeleton finger appeared with an angry voice echoing in the air, causing the island of Crete to shake and almost break apart!!
"Demiurge!!! HOW DARE YOU TWIST WHAT I SAID TO YOUR ADVANTAGE!!! YOU WILL BE PUNISH!!" A beam of thunder appeared and struck down on Demiurge, causing the world to turn white, making the eye become blind, and incapable of seeing anything.
When the world returned to normal, a crater appeared in the spot Demiurge was at. In the middle of the crater was a hole that led deep into the earth, making one see lava burning deep inside.
The skeleton finger retreated, as a voice that was both regal and powerful was heard by their ears, " Forgive me for allowing him to do as he please, I shall seal his powers, so you can do as you please with him, but be warned, if you push him beyond the limit, I shall end you personally." The being didn't seem to care about them, as the finger retreated completely into the ripples, as a result, the dark clouds and thundering skies cleared up.
Zues and the future gods of the world, and the nymphs all collapse onto the ground, kneeling before such a terrifying display of power and the pressure on their shoulders.
Zeus looks up at the darkened and thundering skies with desire, as he too wishes to have such power.
Being a child of Titans, he was blessed with powers but nothing could match what he had seen.
Even if he used his divine powers, he could at most destroy a small boulder but not a bottomless hole like the one seen before him.
I'm too weak, such power is destined for me!
Looking at the hole, Demiurge is in, Zues begins to scheme, he must learn about that figure, he needs that power when he becomes king.
Zues didn't know he was climbing up a tree that shouldn't be climbed, alas, his death would be told as a warning to future generations.
Be content with what you have, because what you have someone else might need and desire.
Dread and fear occupied Rhea's heart as she looked alternating between the skies and the crater.
Such frightening power was like a full blown attack from her husband, but she could sense it was a casual blow as the figure was speaking casually as if Demiurge was still alive.
That attack could prehabs kill many of the Titans, and there was nothing they could do to stop it.
Heart beating faster and faster, as she began to decide what to do.
She could leave this island, it's location was no longer safe.
With such a large surge in power appearing in this location, Cronos would probably be mistaken that they are ready to fight him and initiating the war, which is not good.
However, she knew if she left Demiurge in his weakened state, he would be attacked and killed by Titans, leading to a war they would not win.
The image of the skeleton finger flashes before eyes, making her furrowed her beautiful brows.
Gritting her teeth, Rhea, pointed her palm in the direction of the crater and willed the earth to push the demon out.
Deep inside the earth, Demiurge was calmly dusting his clothes off as adjacent to him Lord Ainz was standing.
Inside Lord Ainz 'hands were golden hand irons that Ainz placed on Demiurge's hands, 'sealing' away his powers.
"This plan of yours is truly a feast for the mind Demiurge. I wanted you to think about yourself first yet you still thought of the benefits of Nazarick before your own happiness, I truly am blessed to have you as one my Guardians. By having me interfere, and punishing you, you get the girl and some exposure, a feat I didn't yet concoct." Ainz smiles inside as he compliments Demiurge.
Although this plan was rushed, it's still a good one, if not he wouldn't have halted what he was doing for it.
Demiurge only smiles as he looks at Lord Ainz. He didn't believe his Lord failed to see him coming up with this plan. Lord Ainz has always been tens, if not hundreds of steps ahead of him when it comes with a plan. Every time he thought he surpassed him, he only fell deeper in the abyss called awe and honor to serve Lord Ainz Ooal Gown, the Supreme One.
"Lord Ainz, I'm a demon, an Archfiend to be exact, which makes me sensitive to emotions and how to manipulate people. I could tell that even though it seems I have won, and she would fall into despair and love me, I know that's not the case." Demiurge shook his head and smirked with evilness radiating from him, " Her children would probably say something like 'don't worry about me', which would make her fight against me. I would be forced to kill her, which would defeat the purpose of me wanting her. However, if I make her believe she has control over me, in the form of these chains, I can slowly manipulate her to love me, slowly removing Cronos from her heart."
Ainz nods his head because if Demiurge believes his plan to be feasible it's more than likely to succeed. However, although Demiurge touched on this topic, he failed to see how his plan might fail, so he told him, " Demiurge, be careful of her children, they might be the ones to oppose you being together with Rhea, especially Zues. He might interfere in your plans or might even aid you, but don't trust him, he's a snake that slither in your heart only to rip it to pieces." He didn't know if it was because he hated Zues but Ainz was not willing to see him rise up and become a despicable god in the future, thus he rather see him dead.
He didn't believe Zues could change as that was in his blood and bones.
The only way to stop an illness is to kill it. If Zues died, many gods would not be born and many gods would not be led down the wrong path.
Demiurge's expression became serious as he listened to Lord Ainz. He didn't doubt Lord Ainz, as he had seen all of Lord Ainz schemes succeed.
So for Lord Ainz, the Supreme One, to warn him, it only meant that Zues was possibly the greatest threat to his courtship of Rhea. " Lord Ainz, do not worry, if this Zues becomes a hindrance to my affection for Rhea, I shall remove him." A glint appeared in Demiurge's eyes as he muttered in his heart, 'I wonder what the skin of a god would turn into? '
"Good, I leave the rest to you. " Lord Ainz teleported, appearing back in Nazarick.
Zeus, who was gathered with his siblings, shivered suddenly as the feeling of terror occupied him. He had a feeling his life was no longer in his hand or the Three Fates for that matter.
Demiurge straightened his back, as he looked at the golden handcuffs.
These hand irons, while it cannot restrain him, were very durable and had ancient carvings on them, making the thought of him being sealed very believable.
As he waited, Demiurge noticed that the surrounding earth seemed to move in on him, pushing him upwards to the surface gradually.
Without having to think he knew this must be the doing to Rhea, so he didn't fight back and instead made himself look disheveled.
He tried to injure himself but was left with anger as he was too durable.
He had no choice but to spill the blood of some humans on his body, making his anger increase.
