Madam Bones made Sirius a warm tea and stood before her desk. "Did you know James had a daughter?"
Sirius choked on said tea, looking to Madam Bones with wide eyes, he shook his head. "He and Lily only had Harry. What do you mean he had a daughter?"
Handing over the copy of James will, she watched him read through it and pale. "She has claimed the Lady Potter title and has custody and rights over Harry. Sirius, Dumbledore has been stealing from the Potter vaults. The things I've found out from Petunia Dursley" she shakes her head, "He's been overstepping big time."
"Petunia had Harry? Lily never wanted her son near her sister!" Trying to keep his temper, he asked, "What about her, Thalia? You've met her, what's she like?" He had never known of her but she was a part of his best friend. He now had Harry and Thalia, he would make sure to do his job this time.
"She's who brought all of this to our attention. The wills had been sealed, she made sure to come for her brother the first chance she could. Her mother had tried for years to get him but someone blocked her."
He would have to thank her. He wanted to meet her and Harry, he knew Harry wouldn't remember him. Looking to Madam Bones, "I want to take the veritiserum and then I want an apology from the Ministry. Dumbledore can fuck off, he knew I wasn't the secret keeper."
Madam Bones is about to respond when a red faced Cornelius Fudge enters her office. "What is going on" seeing Sirius, he jumps "Why is Black here? he should be in his cell!"
"Minister, Lady Potter has brought to our attention, Sirius Black never received a trial. He has agreed to be questioned under veritiserum." Madam Bones glared, "You are here to stand as witness for the questioning and then give him his pardon."
Fudge looks confused, "Lady Potter? Who is she?"
"James Potter's daughter. She now controls the Potter family and her brother has moved in with her. Her mothers side is the Graves family in America" She smirks when Fudge pales. Madam Bones knew he wouldn't go against a family like theirs. They had connections everywhere.
"Well, we should get Mr. Black cleared then. Do you have the veritiserum?" Fudge asks.
Madam Bones nods, walking up to Sirius, she administers it. When it takes effect, she begins, "What is your full name?"
"Sirius Orion Black"
"Were you the secret keeper for the Potters?"
"No, Peter Pettigrew was" her eyes widen at that.
"Did you kill Peter Pettigrew and the thirteen muggles?"
"No. I went after Peter because he betrayed us. When I found him, he hit me with a laughing jinx and blew up the gas mains. Peter transformed after cutting off his finger and escaped."
Madam Bones asked, "What do you mean, he transformed?"
"Peters a rat Animagus" Sirius could feel the veritiserum wearing off. "You all let him get away and he's still out there!"
"Madam Bones, we have to find him! If Pettigrew is a Death Eater, who knows what he's been doing in all this time" Fudge blurts out. Looking to Sirius, he says "Mr. Black, your record will be expunged and you will be compensated for the time you spent in Azkaban. We will find out who let this injustice happen."
Sirius only nods, looking to Madam Bones, he asks "When can I see my kids?" He ignored her look of surprise. Both of James' kids were now his, he would make sure to take care of them. He needed to be an adult and take up his roles, it seemed.
"I will contact Lady Potter. She and Harry have been waiting. While we wait, you can use my bathroom. I left some clothes for you" She motions to a door. When Sirius left, she looked to Fudge. "If you're wanting to speak with Lady Potter, I would wait. They knew what was happening today and I don't know how she will respond to you yet." He nodded and asked if she would have Lady Potter contact him at her leisure.

The siblings held tightly to each other. Walking through the Ministry, eyes followed them. Harry didn't like the attention, at least he was wearing the new clothes they had gotten him, clothes that actually fit. Thalia had made sure to spend their time being busy while they waited. She had taken him to get outfitted and he felt much more comfortable in clothes that were his. Looking to his sister, he noticed she wore a mask in public. She wasn't letting anything through, he should learn how to do that.
Thalia led the way to Madam Bones office. Knocking on the door, she noticed how uncomfortable her brother was. She gave him a reassuring smile before the door opened and her mask went back up.
"Lady Potter, Heir Potter, welcome" Madam Bones greeted.
Thalia gave a nod, "Thank you Madam Bones. My brother and I are hoping for good news."
"I have it. Mr. Black has been cleared of all charges and an investigation on how he ended up there is going to happen. Please sit, he's cleaning up and should be out soon"
Just then, the door opened, and Sirius walked out. He froze when his eyes landed on Harry, he slowly moved his eyes to Thalia. "Wow, you both look like James."
Thalia smiled. Her mother had told her that but she knew she looked like her mother too. "Mr. Black"
Sirius shook his head, "Please, call me Sirius or even Siri"
"Sirius" Thalia smiled, "Harry and I were wanting to invite you to stay with us." Her brother nodded. "Madam Bones, if you're finished, would it be alright for us to head home?"
"Of course, Lady Potter. I only need to return Mr. Blacks belongings" She looked to Sirius, "These were what you had on you the day of your arrest."
Sirius took the items, his wand was finally back in his hand. "Thank you Madam Bones" looking to Thalia and Harry, he asked "Where are we going?"
"Evermoore Cottage. It was one of the few properties in a livable condition" Thalia explained, "We can speak more when we get there"
Sirius nodded and followed the siblings out.

Sirius sat, pale faced, across from Thalia. He couldn't believe everything she had told him. What was Dumbledore up to? Why had he done all of this? Finally finding his voice, he asked, "What do you need me to do?'
"I just wanted to get you out of there. It wasn't right and you deserve to be free and be in Harry's life." Looking to her brother and back, she added "I only ask you not to take him from me. You're his godfather and can fight me for him."
Sirius shook his head, "No, I won't do that. You are his sister, James daughter. I was hoping to be a part of both your lives."
Harry seemed to relax, "Thank you. I didn't want to be taken from Thalia."
"No, I promise I won't. I didn't know about you" Sirius looked to Thalia, "But I want to get to know you now that I do."
"Well, that settles a lot of this. Now, tomorrow you need to go to Gringotts. Harry had compulsions and blocks on him. He also had another soul attached to his, it had been there since he was one. I need to know what happened that night so I can make people pay" Thalia was never going to let this go. People would suffer for treating her brother this way.
Sirius could feel her magic, it was dangerous. He knew she was angry and he didn't blame her one bit. "Okay, I'll go to Gringotts first thing. I don't know if I hold the Lordship but I'll get things figured out."
"Perfect" Thalia grins, "Oh, your cousin may be contacting you soon. Her husband seemed very interested in why I was at the Ministry."
He shivered at her grin, "Cousin?"
"Lord Malfoy, his wife was to be informed of my petition for your release."
"Why would Lucius or Narcissa care about me? We were on different sides during the war, not to mention our views"
"Sirius, we need the backing of someone of Lucius Malfoys standing. He has connections that can get us into places we normally couldn't. Also, I'm trying to see just how far I can sway him to my side. I'm sure by now, word of your misjustice and Dumbledore being a thief has spread."
Sirius gapes, looking to Harry he can see his surprise reflected. "Holy shit! You're diabolical!"
Thalia grinned, "Why thank you. My grandfather told me to shake this world up"

Dumbledore glared at the issue of the prophet. How could this have happened? Sirius Black would ruin all of his plans for Harry. The boy needed to be kept under his control. He needs to speak with Cornelius.
Heading through the floo, he exited in the Ministry atrium. Dumbledore didn't notice all the stares and glares coming from the people. Walking to the lifts, he looked curiously at the people who scurried off when he entered. Exiting, he walked to the Ministers secretary.
"Can I help you, sir" The secretary asked, not looking up from her magazine.
Dumbledore glares, "I need to speak with Cornelius"
"Do you have an appointment scheduled?"
"No, do you realize who I am?" Dumbledore's voice is starting to rise.
"Sir, the Minister is a busy man. You need an" She didn't get to finish because Dumbledore stormed past her and into the Minister's office. Rushing behind him, she looks to Fudge, "I'm sorry, I tried to stop him sir"
Minister Fudge and Lord Malfoy looked from her to a very mad Dumbledore. "Thank you for trying Susan. Some people don't know how to follow the rules"
Dumbledore huffed, ignoring the comment and Lord Malfoy. "Cornelius, what is this about Black being freed? Why wasn't I informed?"
Lord Malfoy smirked while Fudge said, "Evidence was found proving his innocence and he took veritiserum. Why should you have been told?"
Dumbledore gaped, "What evidence? I'm Chief Warlock, I should have been told of a trial"
"There was no trial. Black gave his statement in Madam Bones office in front of her and me. Evidence found that he never received a trial and he was never questioned. We fixed that."
Malfoy added, "My wife is happy her cousins been released. She's planning to reach out to him. Family is important."
Dumbledore straightened, realizing he wouldn't be able to confound Fudge. "Well, I shall send an owl with my congratulations. Good day gentlemen" with that, he swept from the office.
Malfoy looked to Fudge, "I should let Lady Potter know about this."
Fudge nodded, "When Dumbledore realizes he's lost the Potter vaults and control of the boy, he'll be murderous." Malfoy nodded and headed out to contact Lady Potter.

Thalia smiled at the letter she had received. Harry and Sirius were watching her, unsure who had sent the letter. Looking up, she said "Lord Malfoy was witness to Dumbledore's fit in front of the Minister. I expect he'll send you a letter soon. Most likely both of you."
Sirius grimaced but Harry asked, "Why would he send me anything?"
"Because brother, Sirius being free means your godfather can take you. I'm sure he's going to warn you away" Thinking of something, she adds, "We should scan any letters we receive before touching them."
Sirius nodded but Harry was mad, "Do you think that's how he did it? My letters?"
Thalia walks over and pulls her brother into her arms. "I don't know but we are better safe than sorry."
Harry nodded and squeezed her.
Looking to Sirius, she tells him, "We should head to Gringotts now" he nodded and they headed off.

Sirius gaped at the Lord ring on his hand. He had thought his mother had disowned him. Looking to Harry and back to Sharpclaw, he said "I want to make Harry the Black heir."
Harry gaped, "What? Why?" Thalia had to hide her smile.
"I don't plan on having children. Can't really with who I love" Sirius told him. Sharpclaw handed the heir ring to Harry and they watched as the family magic accepted him.
"Lady Potter, a very confused Remus Lupin came into the bank yesterday. We sent him a letter with his new vault amount and explained that the wills had finally been read. He did ask me to give this to you" Sharpclaw handed Thalia a letter.
Looking it over, she looked to Sharpclaw with surprise. "He wants to meet with me? Why?"
Sirius was the one to answer, "You're James' daughter. Neither of us knew but we would have been uncles to you too, had we." Looking to Sharpclaw, he asked "Did he say why he stayed away from Harry?"
Sharpclaw nodded, "It seems Dumbledore told him about the wards around the Dursleys, that they kept out all dark wizards and creatures. He did mention writing but never receiving anything back."
"I never received any letters, except my Hogwarts and the one from the Ministry. That one wasn't even my fault" Harry muttered the last part.
"I think the wards kept the letters out as well. My mother and I sent a few as well" Thalia told them.
"That would explain why Gringotts never received a reply from you, Heir Potter Black." Sharpclaw said, looking to Thalia, he asked "Is there anything else I can help you with today?"
"I believe that is all for today. Thank you, sir." She led the others from the office. When they were back in the alley, she asked "Sirius, would you like to do a bit of robe shopping? You are Lord Black now"
He shrugged, "I suppose. I don't have any of my belongings from before. I would like to get some muggle clothes too"
With that, the three ventured to get Sirius a new wardrobe. Thalia promised they could do muggle shopping another day.
