Thalia had to get out of the house. If she had to deal with those three a moment longer, she would hex them. She loved them all, dearly, but she was severely outnumbered. So, she decided to do some shopping. The apothecary was where she was headed. With the full moon a couple weeks away, she wanted to brew Remus Wolfsbane potion. The man would never ask but she wouldn't make him.
Looking through the ingredients, Thalia made sure to pick the best ones. A man was near what she needed, being polite, she said excuse me but it seemed she was being ignored.
"Excuse me sir" Thalia said with more force. The man turned and scowled so she made sure to give it right back. "I was polite the first two times, now I'm going to be rude."
"What would you need Aconite for? You're a child who probably isn't competent enough to brew it correctly."
Thalia grinned, "You must be Hogwarts potions professor. I've heard stories of you. Allow me to introduce myself, Lady Potter." She watched the man pale, "I'll give you a bit of advice. Treat my brother better or I'll have your job and mastery pulled."
Snape sneered, "You can't be a Potter. Lily only had one child and your much to old to have been hers."
"How about you keep Lily's name out of your mouth. I've heard stories of you Mister Snape. I know why my family was targeted." She grins more when Snapes eyes widen, "My grandfather told me to watch out for you. He knows exactly how you escaped Azkaban. Even though you should be rotting under it!"
Snape looked like he was going to say something but ended up turning and walking off. Thalia smiled and turned to finish her shopping.
"You do realize he will run to Dumbledore and tell him about your encounter."
She turned in surprise. A man, not much older than her, was leaning against the shelves. Thalia hadn't thought anyone else was around. Shrugging her shoulders, she said "Dumbledore would have found out about me soon anyways."
The man walked closer, "You don't seem worried. He's a powerful wizard."
"I've met better and more powerful. If the bastard comes after me, he won't like what happens." She looks up at the man curiously, holding out a hand, she greets him. "Lady Potter"
He takes her hand and places a kiss on her knuckles, surprising her. Grinning, he introduces himself, "Heir Slytherin, but you can call me Malachi."
Thalia's eyes narrow, "This is a surprise. Did your Lord send you? I already agreed to meet with him."
Malachi shook his head, "No. I was intrigued and wanted to meet you. You're causing quite a stir around here."
"Well, I'm just doing what my grandfather instructed." Thalia gives him an innocent smile. "I plan to take down those who have kept my brother from me."
"I for one, can't wait to see what you do" Malachi grins, "I'll see you soon Lady Potter."
Thalia watched him leave. Who would have thought, Voldemort had a son. This just made things a lot more interesting. Finishing her shopping, she headed back home. They needed to have a family meeting.

Harry could only gape at his sister. Sirius and Remus weren't doing much better. He wasn't sure what to say. Everything Thalia had just said was something none of them had ever thought could happen. Harry wasn't sure what to say but luckily Sirius did.
"So, you're still going to meet with Voldemort?"
Thalia sighed, "Something about all of this is off. Why would a man who never went after children suddenly decide to target two?" Seeing she had their attention, she added "Have any of you ever heard the full prophecy?"
"What prophecy?" Harry asked. Sirius and Remus shook their heads.
"Supposedly, Dumbledore heard a prophecy that could have been about two children. Snape overheard part of it and took it to Voldemort. My question is why wasn't the interview for a teacher, done in the school? Why do it in the Hogshead? Also, it's fishy that Trelawney had a 'vision' right in front of Dumbledore when she had never been known to have one ever before."
The three looked at her gob smacked. "Well shit" Sirius blurted. "I still don't' think you meeting with him alone is a good idea!"
Thalia glared, "I told them I would only go if I had his vow that I would come to no harm" Looking to her brother, "I'm going to take you to the Ministry to find this prophecy."
"Why me" Harry asked, confused.
"A prophecy can only be retrieved by those it's about or those who heard it" Remus explained.
"I want to hear what caused our father and Lily's death. Snape will pay for his part, but I want everyone who had a hand in it to pay" No one disagreed with her.

Entering the Ministry, the siblings made sure to keep close to each other. Until they knew who to trust, they would stay away from others. Harry had told Thalia about his friend going to Egypt with his family. She didn't say anything but thought it was odd that his friend hadn't wrote until now. She would let him come to his own conclusions, she wouldn't interfere.
Madam Bones was waiting for them. Thalia had requested her help in case they had any issues. Luckily, Madam Bones was happy to help. It seemed the aurors hadn't been aware of the threat either. That sent up red flags.
When they reached the level that held the DOM, they were escorted inside the hall of prophecies.
"Can I help you" the man at the desk asked.
"Harry Potter would like to hear any prophecies that pertain to him." Madam Bones told him.
The man looked alarmed, "His guardian must be with him since he is underage."
"That's not true" Madam Bones said, now her alarms were going off. "Luckily his guardian is here."
The man looks confused. "Albus Dumbledore is his guardian."
Madam Bones and Thalia share a look, "Lady Potter is Harry Potters guardian. Now, show us the prophecy!"
Harry could tell something was wrong. His sister and Madam Bones were on guard. They watched the man pale before nodding and searching the prophecies.
The man shook his head, "I'm not finding anything connected to Harry Potter" he looked between the women.
Thalia was pissed. Another lie, this one cause her fathers death. "Madam Bones, I'll contact you" one the woman nodded, Thalia grabbed her brother and left. They didn't speak until they exited the floo in their home.

Sirius and Remus sat there, Harry and Thalia weren't any better. It had been a lie by the old man. A lie that had caused all of this.
"I'm going to kill him" Sirius stood and began to pace. Remus was barely holding his wolf back, gold eyes were flashing through.
"Why" Harry asked in a whisper. "Why did he do it?"
Thalia wrapped her brother in her arms. "I don't know but I will find out and I will make him pay" Harry leaned further into her.
Once everyone was calmed, Harry looked at her and said, "Meet with him. Figure out what he can tell you about that night. Tell him the prophecy is false." Sirius and Remus nodded in agreement.
Nodding, she stood "I'll send the letter now."

Dumbledore stared at Snape. He had just informed him of his run in with Lady Potter. He needed to find this witch. If she has taken the ladyship, it meant he had lost all control over Harry.
The only person he could even think of that would qualify would be that womans daughter. He had thought he kept James from learning about the child. He had blocked all of her letters while James was at Hogwarts. Most women would have given up if they hadn't received a reply. Looks like she sent one more.
"What are we going to do? This girl will try to keep the boy safe and she knows things Albus. She said her grandfather told her of me. Who's her grandfather?" Snape asked, he was panicking.
Dumbledore could care less what happened to Snape, he was just a pawn on the chessboard. Keeping up the act, he said "I will just have to make her see Harry's not safe and he needs to be kept ignorant" Smiling, he adds, "It's all for the greater good."

Thalia exited the floo with her guard up. She wasn't sure how this meeting would go but it had to be done. Lord Malfoy greeted her. She was glad he was here. Walking down the hall, she looked around at the decor. When they reached elegant doors, Lucius knocked and opened them when 'Enter' was called out.
She wasn't sure what to expect but the man behind the desk was a pleasant surprise. The one in the chair grinned when she looked at him.
"Lady Potter, thank you for coming. I will now give you my vow that no harm shall befall you while you are here."
Thalia gave a small curtsy, "Thank you Lord Slytherin." She grinned at his surprised look. "I assumed that's what you were going by since that one" She motioned to the younger man, "Introduced himself as Heir Slytherin."
"I thought I told you to call me Malachi" he grinned.
Lord Slytherin rolled his eyes, "I apologize. My son can be a bit much sometimes. Lady Potter, I was hoping we could speak about what happened that night."
Lucius led her to a seat next to Malachi before sitting on the other side. Thalia nodded, "I would appreciate that. I also have some information to share with you."
"I had never attacked children, never let my followers attack children. How could I when I had a son?" Lord Slytherin started to pace, "I did some things in my youth that had an effect on me later in life. Because of that, when I was brought the information on the prophecy, things began to spiral. I never wanted to kill your brother, I wanted to speak with James and Lily. They were both very powerful and I was hoping to bring them on side." He looked to Thalia with his red eyes, "I don't remember anything past arriving that night. I know it was I who cast the spells but I don't remember entering the home or killing James or Lily. I surely don't remember firing a killing curse at a baby."
Malachi watched his father tell Lady Potter of that night. He knew his father may not be a good man but he wasn't a monster. When Lady Potter stood, he watched cautiously as she approached his father.
"Lord Slytherin" Thalia said quietly, "There was no prophecy. I took my brother to the DoM and there was no record of one. What if it was Dumbledore? Could he have somehow gotten ahold of you that night?"
Lucius didn't want to bring it up but he had to, "Your mind at that time would have been susceptible."
"Your speaking of his horcrux problem" All three men stared at her in shock. Shrugging, she pulled an object out of her pocket, "You left something with my brother that night."
Lord Slytherin gaped, he hadn't realized how far gone he was for a piece to break off that easily. "Lady Potter, how did you"
"The goblins removed it from behind my brothers scar when I had him cleansed and his body healed." Thalia could feel her magic escaping with her anger at the memory of what her brother had gone through.
"May I?" Malachi asked, motioning to the object.
Thalia looked confused, "I guess. What are you going to do?"
He smirked, "Put it back where it belongs" Looking to his father, he nodded. "I've put three back already, hence why he looks like that."
"You said there was no prophecy" Lord Slytherin asked. "What was the old man trying to accomplish? Why fake a prophecy?"
Shaking her head, she says "I don't know but I know he's the reason my father's dead, Lilys dead and Harry grew up in hell and I never met my father. My grandfather told me about Dumbledore, his 'greater good' bullshit is from Grindelwald. I want to kill the old bastard, but I'll settle for ruining him."
The three men look surprised. Potters were known for being light, but it seemed this witch was going to change that. Lucius knew Harry had apologized to Draco about the incident in first year. Maybe with her help, they can push things through that the light had been against.
"Lady Potter" Lord Slytherin started.
"Please, call me Thalia" She looked to father and son. "If we're going to plot together you should use my name."
Malachi grinned as his father spoke, "Call me Tom. What plans do you have?"
"I want that man out of Hogwarts before I send my brother back. I think if the public found out what happened last year, it may be what is needed." At the confused looks, she glances to Lucius, "My brother killed the basilisk after it attacked the muggleborns."
"He killed the basilisk?" Tom gaped, "How did he manage that?"
"With the sword of Gryffindor. He was bit though and luckily Fawkes cried on it so he didn't die. Why didn't he or any of the petrified students get sent to St. Mungos to be checked? Also there's first year, when you taught the students for a whole year."
"I'm not going by Voldemort so we could use that. I look different than before as well, thanks to Malachi. I was going to come out as Lord Slytherin since no one knows I'm still alive. The story of first year could help since I was a wraith then." Tom explained.
"We should do that, it will help us." Malachi agreed. They discussed how to handle it and Thalia agreed to speak with Harry to get the full story.
~~~~~
Once they were finished, Thalia stood to leave, and Malachi offered to walk her to the floo. "Thank you for hearing my father out." He told her. "The man who raised me would have never gone after a child. Luckily I've been able to get him pieced back together so his mind is safe."
Thalia looked up at him, "My brother deserves to live. I don't know what Dumbledore had planned for him, but I know it wasn't for him to grow old."
"Well, it won't be by our hands even if the old man had planned it that way." Malachi braced himself before asking, "Could I take you to dinner soon?"
She was surprised by his question. Giving him a small smile, she said "Sure. Just owl me." He nodded and she went through the floo.
I do not own Harry Potter. All characters belong to their own universes unless it's Thalia, she's mine. All mistakes are my own. Thank you all for reading, voting, and commenting.
