Thalia and Harry were holding Sirius and Remus back from killing the rat. Honestly, they would have let them if there wasn't aurors around. Madam Bones had called them in to watch Pettigrews questioning. Thalia had given her the questions Tom had written as well.
"What is your name?" Madam Bones begins after giving the rat veritiserum.
"Peter Pettigrew"
"Was you the secret keeper for the Potters?'
"Yes"
"Did you betray them?"
"Yes"
"Why did you betray them?"
"I was promised power and money"
"Did Voldemort promise you power and money?"
"No" Everyone looked confused at the answer.
"Who promised you power and money?" They could all see him trying to fight the serum. He really didn't want to answer. Madam Bones moved on, "Why did you frame Sirius Black?"
"It was all part of the plan"
Madam Bones looked to the four pale faces and the stunned aurors. "We can't give him more until the trial. I promise you all, we will get the answers and find who's behind this."
Thalia nodded, "Thank you Madam Bones. I'm going to take them home"
Madam Bones nodded and watched as the girl led the others out. Looking back to Pettigrew, she sneered "Put him in solitary. No visitors, I don't care who they are."

Harry watched as the owl flew in at breakfast. His sister had warned him not to touch any mail until it had been scanned. He watched as Thalia removed the letter with her wand and the owl flew off. When she scanned the letter, she and Remus scowled.
"Somethings wrong with it, isn't there" Harry asked.
Thalia nodded, "Yeah but the magical signature can't be traced" Scowling, she looked to Remus "How did he remove it?"
Remus shook his head, "I don't know. He shouldn't be able to" he pauses, "Unless he's got an unregistered wand. He would have had to have it for years though. Like back in WWII."
Thalia thought of something, "I need to speak with my grandfather."
Sirius passed her as she left the dining room. Looking to the others, he asked "Where's she going?"
"Dumbledore sent a letter. Can't prove it was spelled by him though" Harry explained.
Sirius looked to the letter, "Is it clean now?"
Remus nodded and watched was Sirius moved closer, he used his wand to lift it. Harry watched as he opened it and floated it so they could read.
"Seems the old fool finally realized you were no longer with the Dursleys. He thinks you need to go back, 'for your safety'."

Thalia had just pulled her head from the floo. Her grandfather had told her of Dumbledore's fight with Grindelwald and how he disarmed him. It had to be that wand, everyone knew how powerful Grindelwald was and how he could bend magic like no other during his time. She sat and wondered. Was there a way she could speak with the wizard? She knew he was in Nurmengard Prison, it seemed she needed to speak with the Minister.
Sending a letter to Fudge, she also sent one to Lucius. There was no way she would be going alone and couldn't ask Sirius to go with her. Once she was finished, Thalia went back to the dining room. They needed to have a family discussion.

Sirius didn't like this, he made it clear too. "I don't know if it's a good idea. You don't belong in a place like that."
"Siri, I won't go alone" Thalia wrapped her arms around him. "I didn't ask you because I don't want you anywhere near another prison. You may not like him but Lucius agreed to accompany me." Well, he would, she was sure, when he got her letter. "I'm going to meet with Fudge as well. I figured he could get me in there."
"He may no be my favorite person but I trust my sisters decision." Harry told them.
Remus nodded, "I agree. I think Lucius can be trusted. Plus, he can manipulate Fudge, easily."
"So, I will meet with Fudge and then visit Grindelwald. Hopefully he can give us some insight on the illustrious leader of the light."
Sighing, Sirius nods, "Fine" he huffs. Thinking of something, he asks "Has anyone seen my necklace? I took it off to shower and it's disappeared."
Harry and Thalia tried to hold back their laughter. "Did I forget to mention Tia?"
Sirius and Remus look confused, "Who's Tia?"
Thalia stands and summons Tia. They all watch as the niffler comes flying to her. "This is Tia. Uncle Newt gave her to me" She looks to the niffler, "Tia, did you take a necklace from Siri?" Tia shakes her little head and pouts. "Give me his necklace lovie"
Tia pulls out the necklace and hands it to Thalia. Sirius walks over, "Little thief" Tia glares at him and then turns away.
"I probably should have warned you both. Harry met her his first day here. I figured she would have shown herself but it seems she was shy." Tia gave them a bashful look and snuggled into Thalia.
Sirius glared at the niffler while Harry and Remus laughed at him.

Thalia met Lucius outside of the Ministers office, he had agreed to help her with this. "Thalia, Fudge has been wanting to meet you so he should be very agreeable."
She smiled, "Good. Hopefully we can use him to help us get rid of Dumbledore."
Lucius nodded. As they approached the secretary, both place their pureblood masks on. "Hello Ms. Karn. Lady Potter and I have a meeting with the Minister."
Susan Karn looked between the two and smiled, "Let me tell Minister Fudge you're here. I'll be just a moment." They nodded and watched her go to the office door. When she came back, she smiled "Minister Fudge will see you now."
"Thank you, Ms. Karn", They both said. Lucius led Thalia to the office.

"Lucius! Lady Potter, please come in, sit. Would you like tea?" Fudge greeted. He knew how important it was to get on this womans good side. She was a very powerful witch whose family had amazing connections.
"Thank you for meeting with me Minister. I know you're a very busy man, so I really appreciate this." Thalia knew how to inflate a man like Fudges ego.
Blushing, Fudge smiled, "Lady Potter, I must admit, I was surprised to find out about you. I'm sorry to hear about your mother."
"Thank you, sir. I'm sure I was a surprise to many. My mother tried to contact my father to let him know of me, but someone blocked her letters. I believe it's the same person who kept us from getting custody of my brother and sealed my fathers will."
"You think its Dumbledore." Fudge asked and she nodded. He looked to Lucius, "That would mean he did it illegally, as well as stealing from the vaults."
Thalia nodded while Lucius spoke, "We are hoping to get him out of Hogwarts and the Wizengamot."
"Minister, that man has secrets that I bet he would kill to keep secret. I want to ask if you would give us the access to visit a prisoner in Nurmengard."
Fudge was confused, "Why on earth would you want to visit there?"
Thalia smiled, "Because Gellert Grindelwald is imprisoned there" she watched Fudges eyes go wide, "My grandfather had some very interesting stories about Dumbledore and Grindelwald. I was hoping to ask some questions that could help us."
Fudge looked to Lucius, a man he took advice from and noticed he believed what Lady Potter was saying. Looking back to the young witch, he asks "Do you really think you can take Dumbledore's power from him?"
"Minister, I know I can. For what Dumbledore has done to my family, I'll make him wish he had never heard the name Potter."

Fudge had gotten them entrance to Nurmengard for five that evening. It seemed he wanted the old bastard gone just as much as they did.
Luckily, it was summer so they wouldn't freeze to death on this trip. Thalia was to meet Lucius for their portkey. When she entered, she was surprised to see Lucius standing with Malachi. Her eyes narrowed as she approached. "I didn't know you were joining us."
Malachi grinned, "I figured another wand wouldn't be a bad idea" Lucius snorted.
"Sure" Thalia grinned and looked to Lucius, "What time do we leave?"
"In three minutes" They all walked over to the portkey and when it was time, they made sure to hold on tight.
When they finally landed, Thalia notice they were getting some odd looks. Walking over to the desk attendant, she was surprised when Malachi spoke in German. Lucius didn't seem surprised but it was interesting to her.
"We're good to head there." Malachi turned back to them. Something must have shown on her face because he winked at her.
Lucius led the way to the apparation point, "We should be able to apparate right to the gate." Holding an arm out for Thalia to take, he apparated them while Malachi followed.

Thalia looked up to the castle turned prison. It was a hauntingly beautiful castle. She wondered how this had even become Grindelwald's prison. When they approached the gate, they were stopped by the guards.
Names and which prisoner are you visiting?"
"Lucius Malfoy, Malachi Slytherin, Thalia Potter" Lucius told them, "We were cleared by Minister Cornelius Fudge to visit prisoner Grindelwald."
The guards checked their paperwork and noticed everything matched, "You're all cleared. We just need to hold your wands." They each handed over their wands and entered the gates.
Thalia could feel the wards encompass her as she entered. The three were led to Grindelwald's cell. Thalia was surprised at how comfortable, it looked nothing like Azkaban. When the guard opened the cell, they entered. No one spoke until they were alone.
"Mr. Grindelwald, my name is Thalia Graves Potter, and I was hoping you would answer some questions I had" She watched as Grindelwald's eyes snapped to hers.
"Graves?" he asked curiously.
She nodded, "My grandfather and you have history."
"Ah, yes. How is Perceval nowadays?" he grinned.
"Loving life and being an amazing grandfather." she smiled sweetly. "Would you mind answering some questions for me?"
"And what questions might those be, little dove?"
Malachi stiffened but Lucius put a hand on his arm to stop him. Lucius knew he was trying to push them.
"What can you tell me about Albus Dumbledore? I want to take him down for what he's done to my family and others." Thalia just put it out there.
Grindelwald looked confused, "What has Albus done? I mean, I know what he's done to me but why don't you elaborate for me."
Thalia proceeded to tell him everything. It took a bit but when she mentioned the spelled letters and how they couldn't get his magical signature from it, Malachi noticed his expression change.
"It seems Albus hasn't really changed all that much. I wonder, does he still use the quote, 'for the greater good'?" Grindelwald asked.
"He does. Tell me, which one of you came up with that saying?" Thalia knew it had been his saying during WWII.
He smiled, "When we were teenagers, we had a plan. Muggles needed to be kept from our world and we would have ruled them. Unfortunately, his sister was killed during an altercation. We never knew whose spell hit her but that was when he turned his back on me. On our plans."
"You were more than partners though" Thalia asked.
"We were. Imagine the betrayal I felt when he dueled me, took my wand, and locked me in here. That's not something a lover would do but he sure benefitted from it."
"Sir, what about your wand made it so special?" she whispered.
Grindelwald grinned, "It was the elder wand of course. One of the Deathly Hallows. You said your name was Potter, correct?" She nods, "Look into your family history. You have a connection to the Deathly Hallows, more than most."
"Those are just stories though" Lucius said.
Thalia didn't look away as Grindelwalds eyes locked on hers and he smiled, "You know, don't you, little dove?"
She barely nodded but it was enough confirmation for him. Thalia knew the cloak her brother had was different. Harry had tried to give it to her since she was the first born but she told him to keep it. She knew the cloak connected with her magic but she wanted Harry to have that protection.
"Get the wand from him Thalia. That wand will give you everything you want but only you. Your family has always been the champions of Death. Once you have that wand, your power will be extraordinary!" Grindelwald had moved closer while talking. Once he was close enough, he reached out and placed a hand on her head.

Thalia couldn't move or see. Visions of the past, history was shown to her. She had forgotten Grindelwald could use his seer abilities like no one else.
Malachi moved forward when Grindelwald touched Thalia. He and Lucius pulled her back from the man but whatever he had done when he touched her was still happening. Lifting her in his arms, Malachi turned to leave when Grindelwald spoke.
"When she wakes, she'll be fine. I only did as the little dove asked." He grinned at the glaring man.
They rushed out, the guards at the gate looked curiously at Thalia's limp from but handed over their wands.
Malachi looked to Lucius, "I'm taking her to mine" Lucius nodded and watched as his Lords son and the savior's sister disappeared.
