Chapter 6: the final battle

Jia Lisha stepped out of her elevator and into the light of day. It took her a minute to adjust to sunlight, since she hadn't gone outside in a solid three weeks. She approached her invisible dirt wall and collapsed it so she could walk outside.

There were several dead bodies around her. She recognized them as Aput, Rye, Yome, and Teru; all of them were members of Fen's gang.

She noticed a figure of someone rolled into a ball, as she got closer she realized the person was sobbing. "Fen" Jia Lisha called out

Fen lifted her head and looked astonished as she saw the great spirit in front of her "wha…. You're still here"

"I am" Jia Lisha said nodding "Azula rejected my offer, so I was hoping you were still interested" she said sitting down in the dirt with her tail lifted "are you"

Fen stared at her, her face full of confusion but also hope "yes…Yes I'm interested" she said approaching

"Good, now would you mind making a table, mine was just smashed" she said as Fen eagerly bended the earth into a table for them "I'm glad we're doing this I was rooting for you"

Azula had successfully climbed out of the cave, her muscles burning and ripping. Jia Lisha was about ten yards ahead of her, with Fen sitting by her side. She couldn't just attack a spirit head on. Even if she was in any shape to, she couldn't do any damage. She had to focus on Fen, without her the dog wouldn't have someone to make a deal with.

"Alright that should be everything" Jia Lisha said, Azula needed to act fast

Fen glanced at her right and dominant arm, or what used to be. She gulped and grabbed the feather with her left arm "ok let's take this slow"

Azula sucked in a deep breath "AAAAAHHHHHH" she screamed as she pounced on Fen. Azula also shot a speck of fire at their contract, lighting it into flames. They rolled across the grass, when they stopped Azula got on top of Fen, grabbed Fen's hand and pressed it against Fen's neck. "Try to bend now"

Fen swung her amputated right arm up and bended a swarm of dirt at Azula. The Dirt penetrated her eyes and caused her to fall. Fen took a deep breath "why are you so hard to kill" she said with ferocity

Azula jumped toward her voice and pinned her down again. She didn't have full vision but she was sure the blob in front of her was Fen's head, she punched Fen then kept bombarding her with punches from both arms. "You murdering little…." she said before Jia Lisha kicked her off

"Azula honey, don't suppose this tantrum of yours means you'd like to make a deal?" Jia Lisha suspiciously asked

Azula thought fast "yes" she lied

"Liar," Jia Lisha said with a smile. She grew into her scary and demonic form, she grabbed Azula and smashed her into the ground. "Now Azula, you are wasting great opportunities and also my time" the spirit said throwing her around like a rag doll "what is your plan here, so you by some miracle punch me to death and then what, you have no one who will take you in, no one who will appreciate it" she said holding Azula up to her face. Azula knew the spirit just might be right about some things but none of this was about her, it was about protecting her family. Azula focused hard and blasted fire out her fist and scorched Jia Lisha's hand- paw- thing to the bone.

Jia Lisha didn't seem in to much pain "oooh look I'm the phantom of the opera" she said waving her skeleton hand around before it healed "well I might be, I've never seen that movie all the way through"

"I'm not even going to ask," Azula said, blasting more fire, maybe just as much as during Sozin's comet. She thought she might actually win, but Jia Lisha grabbed her. Almost no skin or fur on her at that moment, just burnt flesh and eyes. She actually managed to look scarier. She smashed Azula into the ground at least eight times.

"now let's redo this contract" she said dropping Azula and walking back

Azula rolled over after feeling a plastic syringe in her pocket, suddenly giving her an idea. Azula lifted her head in pain to see Fen also getting up, her vision also cleared and she could see she turned Fen's face fifty shades of black and blue. "I'm not taking any chances" Fen said creating a diamond spear

Fen approached Azula with a look of expended patience and fury, she started running at her. Azula knew she'd be dead in seconds if she didn't act fast. Azula took one breath and blasted a stream of fire at Fen's feet. Fen fell on the spear

Fen lifted her head revealing the spear impaling her chest. It was a pinpoint accurate shot through the heart. Fen's last look wasn't one of regret or sorrow, just disappointment. She fell to the ground and let out her last breath.

Jia Lisha approached with a new contract, she looked down at Fen's dead body "see what I meant about you being annoying" she said with an emotionless and apathetic tone "now I gotta find a new client, and I'm not gonna have you in the way"

Jia Lisha in full monster form grabbed Azula by the neck and held her up to her snout. She started crushing Azula's throat "ugh" Azula got out as she started to turn blue

"I'm sorry were you saying something" Jia Lisha said in such an arrogant manner

"Don't…" Azula coughed out "Don't watch an enemy's face…"

"AHHHHHHH" Jia Lisha screamed, she looked at the arm she held Azula with and there were now four empty syringes stabbed in it.

"Watch the hands," Azula said, gasping for air. Azula shot a large amount of blue fire at Jia Lisha's arm. Her skin and fur were singed badly all the way to the veins, and it didn't heal.

Jia Lisha started breathing heavily, she grabbed her chest as if her heart was beating a mile a minute. Azula pulled the diamond spear out of Fen's chest and looked toward the reality destroying spirit. "ST….STAY AWAY FROM ME" the dog said out of fear

Azula sped walked toward her, it was the best she could do with all her injuries. Jia Lisha started running but Azula shot another blast of fire, this time at her legs. Jia Lisha fell to the ground with her scorched legs, she started crawling away.

"Stop please, I'll give you anything" she begged "a castle, an army, your own galaxy, just have mercy" she shouted in fear as Azula climbed on her chest. She tried to swat her off but Azula shot fire at her other arm.

"Will you stop?" Azula asked, giving her one last chance

"But….but, people dying is funny" Jia Lisha preached

Azula took a deep breath, lifted the diamond spear and smashed it into the spirits forehead. It was over.

Azula slid down Jia Lisha's corpse, she won and the battle was over, her family was safe. Suddenly all the energy and adrenaline she had left started to fade away, her broken body started to shut down and she fell to the ground and finally got some rest.
