Just like Sonic X, this show is very near and dear to my heart. It's because of this show I discovered Mega Man.
Gwen: It's the year 200X and it's almost like living in a video game. I'm Gwen Hikari. Welcome to DenTech City. Where the whole city is linked together through a cyber matrix that connects everything. Me, my twin brother, Lan, & our friends have these powerful handheld called P.E.T.s that let us battle in the virtual world with our Cyber Warriors. They're called NetNavis. My brother's NetNavi is MegaMan and my NetNavi is Dawn. There's also an evil force, World Three. That reeks havoc on the city by infecting the cyber matrix with computer viruses. Along with my brother, our friends, and their personal Net Warriors, Dawn and I are gonna delete these viruses and rid society of all chaos and crime. Jack in! Dawn! Power Up!

*Our story today, begins in a strange world. Different from our own. Just then, a yellow, red, silver, gray, & black male gorilla-like robot with green eyes slams the ground with his hammer hand*
GutsMan: You no win! *the force from the hammer goes straight for a little man with fair skin, blue eyes, & wearing turquoise & gray armor who dodges the attack. he then flips over GutsMan & jump kicks him in the arm* Me. Number one NetNavi!
*The NetNavi jumps up*
?:*off-screen* Blaster Battle Chip in! Download!
*The NetNavi's arm turned into a laser cannon & he blasts at GutsMan, who blocks with a force field*
GutsMan: Guts! Guts! Guts!
?:*off-screen* Cyber Sword Battle Chip in! Download!
*The NetNavi's arm then turned into a sword & he ran to attack, but the sword broke once it hit GutsMan's arm. A pudgy boy with brown hair in a small mohawk, dark tan skin, dark gray eyes & wearing a green t-shirt, blue shorts, black socks & blue shoes appeared*
Dex: Delete him, GutsMan!
*GutsMan punched the NetNavi, sending him flying backwards. His arm was badly damaged from the attack*
NetNavi: Recreating right arm. Execute.
*A boy with spikey brown hair, peach skin, brown eyes, & wearing a blue headband with a a red circle with a symbol on it (a black line running diagonally through the center which ends in two triangles, all of which are surrounded by a gold ring on it), a orange vest over a white long sleeved shirt, black shorts, black socks & orange shoes appeared*
Lan: Stream out of there!
*Dex smirked*
Dex: Not so fast!
*GutsMan hit the ground with another hammer attack that hit the NetNavi, causing sever damage*

*The NetNavi disappeared*
Dex: Oh yeah! Give it up, everybody! Dex wins yet again!
*The lights came on revealing an arcade. Lan & Dex were standing on either side of a mini battle arena. Standing behind Lan was a girl with brown chin-length hair in a boyish cut, peach skin, brown eyes, & wearing a purple barrette decorated with white wings in her hair, a yellow hoodie over a pink striped shirt, a dark orange skirt, black thigh-length leggings, white socks, & pink sneakers (look up "Gwen Hikari" by "SwanGirl24" on "DeviantArt")*
(Gwen's POV)
*Hi. I'm Gwen Hikari. The boy who you just saw loose the battle is my twin brother, Lan Hikari (he's older by 8 minutes). The jerk he just lost to is Dex Ogreon, a classmate of ours. The crowd of kids that had gathered to watch started to disperse*
Kid #1: Having a customized NetNavi is the way to go.
Kid #2: Yeah. I've already put mine on order.
*Soon, it was just me, Lan, & Dex*
Dex: Lan, quit playing like a rookie or you'll be able to beat my GutsMan!
*Lan looked sad as Dex laughed. I glared at him as he walked away. I then put a hand on my brother's shoulder. He looked at me*
Gwen: Don't let him get to you, Lan. I just know that one day, you're going to make him eat those words!
*Lan smiled at me.
Lan: Thanks, sis.
*We were very close. We always knew how to cheer each other up*
As we left the arcade, we bumped into Maylu Sakurai, a girl we've known since kindergarten (she has short short maroon hair, a fair skin, brown eyes & was wearing a yellow & pink heart hair accessory, a blue vest over a aqua-colored shirt, a pink skirt, black thigh high socks, & dark red shoes). We were roller skating while she was on her scooter*
Lan: That makes eighteen Net Battles I've lost to Dex and GutsMan.
Maylu: Yeah, I know. But what do you expect when you have just a plain old NetNavi?
*Just then, her P.E.T. started beeping. She answered it & a girl NetNavi with long blonde hair in a low ponytail with a green ribbon, peach skin, green eyes, & wearing pink, red, & black armor with yellow ribbon-like curved antennae attached to her helmet appeared on the screen. Behind her were the words "Piano Lesson"*
Roll: Maylu, calendar uplink. You have a piano lesson now.
Maylu: Oh yeah. Thanks a lot, Roll.
*She put her P.E.T. away*
Lan: If only Gwen & I hand custom-made NetNavis like you.
*Out of the three of us, I was the only one who didn't have a NetNavi. Custom or otherwise. But that was for a good reason*
Dex:*off-screen* Maylu! *we turned around & saw Dex coming towards us in his scooter**on-screen* Hey! Hold on a sec, Maylu! Let me walk you home!
*I rolled my eyes. Ever since they first met, Dex has had a crush on Maylu. Fortunately, the feeling isn't mutual. Maylu scooted away*
Maylu: See you later, guys.
Gwen: Yeah. See you tomorrow.
Dex:*off-screen* No! No! I'm almost there!
*Lan sighed*
*We went to the park & sat down as Lan tried to fix his NetNavi*
NetNavi: Right arm operating at half strength. Recommendation, no more Net Battles.
*Lan groaned & fell backwards*
Gwen: Well, with all the Net Battling you've been doing lately, can you really blame him?
*Lan just lay on the grass. Suddenly, a fish came flying out of nowhere & landed right now Lan's stomach*
Lan: A fish!?
*He held on to it as it wiggled in his arms*
Gwen: I can only think of one person that could've come from.
*We looked down the stairs & a man with a big bald spot coming out of his black hair, tan skin, a small black mustache, big fish lips, black eyes, & wearing a white headband, a blue long sleeved shirt, white gloves, a black apron with a pink fish on it, green pants & white boots*
Maysa: You two look as surprised as gophers in a stamped.
Lan: Hey, come on, Maysa. You could've hit me on the head with this. I'm not in the mood, okay.
Maysa: I hear you played lame game. Against Dex and lost.
*Lan gave the fish back to Maysa*
Gwen: Not a game, Maysa. It was a Net Battle.
*Lan went to a nearby faucet to wash his hands*
Maysa: Yeah, yeah, whatever. Nets are actually made for fishing, you know.
Gwen: I said Net Battle. But then again, you're probably the only person in DenTech City without a P.E.T.
Maysa: I had a salmon as a pet when I was a youngin'.
*I rolled eyes. Why do I even bother*
Lan: No! P.E.T.! Personal Terminal. *he pulled out his* Here. Check it.
Maysa: Oh. That kind of pet. My F.I.S.H was still more fun.
Lan: Not as fun much fun as operating your very own Virtual Net Warrior. And when we jack into the net, our NetNavis face-off in sweet cyber battles. *while he was talking, Maysa was cleaning his ear* Come on, you gotta admit, that's pretty tight.
Maysa: Yes, indeedy. Very interesting. Know what'll really snap your chaps. *he pulled his finger put of his ear & blew on it* Fish don't have eyelids. *we sighed. trying to explain computers to Maysa was like trying to teach a monkey to talk. this guy has fish on the brain 24/7. suddenly, we heard sirens. we turned & saw four fire trucks going down the street* Looks like more fires have broken out.
Lan: Weird how ovens are catching on fire all over town.
Gwen: Very weird.
Maysa: Speaking of ovens, I better go check mine. *he handed each of us a fish* Remember to eat lots of calcium now, you hear?
*He rode away on his bike. Another thing he always has on his brain is calcium*
Lan: Okay. Whatever you say.
Gwen: See you later.
*We both smiled & headed for home*
*That evening, we were eating dinner with our Mom (a woman with short brown hair, fair skin, brown eyes, & wearing a purple shirt, a green skirt, & maroon sandals)*
Haruka: How scary. There's been over ten mysterious fires this week.
Lan: I bet it has something to do with the computer controls. I should check our oven.
Haruka: Don't worry about it. I had the dealer look at it yesterday and he said that everything was normal.
Gwen: Lots of weird stuff's been going on lately.
*Lan handed Mom his rice bowl*
Lan: Seconds, please?
Haruka: Sure. *she got up* Oh, yeah. I almost forgot. A letter arrived for each of you from Dad today. I left them on the counter.
Lan: Snail mail? Not email?
Haruka: Sent all the way from Borneo.
Gwen: Sounds far away.
*The envelopes were next to a family picture of all 4 of us. Mom, Lan, me, & Dad (look up "Hikari Family Picture" by "SwanGirl24" on "DeviantArt") (a man with brown hair, peach skin, brown eyes & wearing black rimmed glasses, a beige long sleeved shirt with orange trim, brown pants, & brown shoes). Lan & I went to pick them up*
Lan: Dad travels the world. Having adventures. And we're stuck going to school.
Gwen: Yeah.
Haruka: Having adventures, being a scientist like your Dad. You two can grow up to be anything you want, just keep up your -
Lan & Gwen: Just keep up your school work.
Lan: Dad says the same thing.
*We both opened our envelopes & our eyes went wide when we both pulled out a mini disk. Mine had a few Battle Chips inside too*
Haruka: So, what's inside, kids? Some souvenir from Borneo?
Lan: Custom-Burnt disks! This is great! *he looked at me* Could these be?
Gwen: Only one way to find out. *Lan & I ran upstairs. Lan went into his bedroom & I went into mine (look up "Sailormoon's Room" by "whitem-mt" on Deviantart) (which were right across the hall from each other). I went to my desk & inserted the disk into the station where my P.E.T. (look up "Gwen's P.E.T." by SwanGirl24" on "DeviantArt") was plugged in* Oh, I knew Dad wouldn't forget our promise! I knew it!
*I went to my computer & typed*
Computer: Systems administrator active. Please enter password. *I typed in my password, "BasketballStar291"* Password accepted. Loading. *I typed some more* Download complete.
*I went back to my P.E.T.*
Gwen: Core lodging installed. Engage!
*I pressed a button & my P.E.T. lit up*
Computer: Running program with new mega configurations.
*Suddenly, the screen went black*
Gwen: That's weird.
*The screen soon turned back on*
Computer: Second stage installation commencing. Rebuffered partitions have been defragmented. Program import completed. Congratulations. While the operating system for your P.E.T. has been fully loaded, there will be a minor delay before it can be used. Estimated time until program is ready . . . 3 hours.
Gwen: So . . . That's all?
Computer: That's all.
*I sighed*
Gwen: Oh well, might as well get ready for bed.
*I plugged my P.E.T. back in. As I left my bedroom to go to the bathroom & brush my teeth, I could hear Lan already snoring. I swear, he could sleep though an earthquake. When I got back to my room, I changed into my pajamas (look up "Natsuki Rin [Precure Tsunagaru Pazurun]s" by "JellyHeartsOffical" on DeviantArt), fed Checkers (look up "Checkers" by "SwanGirl24" on "DeviantArt"), my pet hamster, climbed into bed with my stuffed animal collection (look up "floppy plush p2u bases - $2.50!" by "thekingtheory" on "DeviantArt") & my favorite pink bunny (look up "[Danganronpa OC] Mika with a stuffed bunny" by "Mystiwaii-Sama "on "Deviantart"), & fell asleep*

*Downstairs, Haruka was looking at the family picture*
Haruka:*sigh* Like parent, like child. Our kids are turning out just like you.
*That night, while Lan & Gwen were sleeping, their P.E.T.s turned on*
Computer/NetNavi: Your customized program download is now complete. Configuring data now.
*The NetNavi on Lan's P.E.T. began to change, while a figure began to appear on Gwen's P.E.T.*
(Gwen's POV)
*The next morning, I was woken up by a shy voice*
?:*off-screen* Um . . . Excuse me . . . Miss Gwen Hikari . . . It's time to wake up.
*I opened my eyes, sat up, yawned, & looked around my bedroom*
Gwen: Who said that?
?:*off-screen* I'm over here. Inside your P.E.T.
Gwen: My P.E.T.?
*I looked at my P.E.T. & my eyes went wide. There was a girl with blonde twin tails that went down to her thighs, fair skin, green eyes, & wearing a purple helmet, a purple & white dress, purple & white gloves, & white wings on her back inside my P.E.T. Her Navi symbol was a white angel wing (look up " " by "SwanGirl24" on DeviantArt")*
Dawn: Good morning, Miss Gwen.
*I stared at her for a few seconds*
Gwen: Who are you?
Dawn: My name is Dawn. It's nice to meet you.
Gwen: Dawn?
Dawn: Yes. I'm your personal custom NetNavi. Programed by your Father.
Gwen: My very own personal NetNavi? The one my Dad promised he'd program for me when I entered 5th Grade?
Dawn: That's right. *I just looked at her for a few more seconds* Is . . . Something wrong?
*I was quiet for a few more seconds. Then I smiled, jumped out of bed, grabbed my P.E.T., & spun around*
Gwen: Oh my gosh! You are so cute! You're everything I imagined you would be! I knew Dad wouldn't let me down! I knew it! *I stopped spinning* It's so nice to meet you, Dawn. I just know we're going to be the best of friends.
*She looked surprised by my outburst at first, but then flashed me a cute smile*
Dawn: I think so too.
(Dawn's POV)
*I then opened my eyes & they went wide. I could see a very red heat signature coming from downstairs*
Dawn: What's that?
(Gwen's POV)
*I suddenly noticed that Dawn was looking scared*
Gwen: What's wrong?
Dawn: Miss Gwen! In the kitchen!
Haruka:*off-screen* Lan! Gwen!
*Lan & I burst out of our rooms*
Lan & Gwen: Mom!
*We ran down to the kitchen & saw that the oven had burst into flames*
Gwen: What happened!?
Haruka: It's the oven! I can't put it out!
*Lan grabbed the fire extinguisher & aimed it at the fire, but the flames came back to life*
Lan: The flames are too strong! The computer system is out of control!
?:*off-screen* Lan! Lan! Jack me into the oven's computer! I'll scan the net & check things out!
Lan: There's no time!
?:*off-screen* Just do it!
Lan: If you say so!
Dawn:*off-screen* Miss Gwen! Jack me in too! I can't let my brother go alone!
Gwen: Your brother!?
Dawn:*off-screen* I'll introduce you later! Right now, we need to do something before the house goes up in flames!
Gwen: All right.
*Lan used the fire extinguisher again, putting the flames out long enough for us to reach the terminal*
Lan: Jack in! MegaMan! Power Up!
Gwen: Jack in! Dawn! Power Up!
*We pulled the retractable cords out of our P.E.T.s & plugged them into the oven's terminal*
(Dawn's POV)
*Me & my brother, MegaMan (a boy NetNavi with dark blue spikey hair, peach skin, green eyes, & wearing a blue helmet & blue armor) traveled through the net until we arrived at the computer system. When we got there, found the computer system overrun by . . .*
Dawn: A swarm of computer viruses!
MegaMan: If we don't stop them, they'll hack apart the oven's cyber matrixs then everything will go up in flames!
*My brother's arm then turned into an arm cannon*
MegaMan: Time to do a little virus busting!
*He fired lasers at the viruses & most of them were destroyed. I then jumped up high in the air*
Dawn: Angel Feather Barrage!
*I sent a rain of feathers on the rest of the viruses, destroying them. Just then, we turned around & saw a silhouette in the cyber fire*
?: Blazes . . . What have you done, meddling NetNavis?
*The silhouette disappeared along with the fire*
MegaMan: What was that?
Dawn: I don't know. But they didn't sound very nice.
(Gwen's POV)
*A few minutes had passed since we sent our new NetNavis into the oven terminal. The fire was now dying*
Haruka:*coming out of hiding* The fire's out.
Lan & Gwen: Jack out!
Lan: That was great! You were great MegaMan! Forget everything I said about you being to small!
*MegaMan chuckled bashfully*
Gwen: You were amazing, Dawn! My Dad sure knew what he was doing! You're everything I ever hoped for!
Dawn: Oh, please stop, Miss Gwen. You're embarrassing me.
Gwen: Only . . . don't call me "Miss". Just called me Gwen.
Dawn: I'll work on that.
Lan: And you know what else? I bet you're even strong enough to beat Dex's GutsMan! Hey, we could kick butt at the N1 Grand Prix Net Battles!
MegaMan: Yeah.
Gwen: Hey. Don't forget about us. I bet we could kick more butt than you two any day!
Dawn: Y . . . Yeah. I guess.
*After I got dressed & we had breakfast, we roller skated to school. We were just outside the front gate when we ran into Dex*
Lan: Hey Dex!
Dex: Lan, I'm surprised you'd show your face after losing to me yesterday.
Lan: Me and Gwen challenge you and Gutsman again. Meet us at the study hall.
Dex: You must like losing!
Lan: No way! Tomorrow you won't be showing your face!
Dex: Yeah. We'll see! *he turned to me* And since when do you have a NetNavi?
Gwen: Since last night. You'll meet her after school. *I skated ahead of them* Hey, Dawn. Do I have basketball practice today?
Dawn:*off-screen* Hmm. No. Why do you ask?
Gwen: Well, there's no way I'm going to miss the chance to make Dex pay for all the trash talk he's given my brother.
Dawn:*off-screen* Oh . . . Okay.
*I skated into the school with Lan & Dex behind me*
*Later that day, I was sitting in class, listening to our teacher, Ms. Mari (a woman with brown hair in twin buns that looked like roll cakes, fair skin, brown eyes, & wearing a greenish blue & purple dress, moderate purple tights, & greenish blue boots), teach a lecture about different types of viruses*
Ms. Mari: And so, a Macro Worm can attach itself to a program and travel undetected as an attachment to standard email. Once it wriggles into a computer system, it will duplicate itself and start . . .
*I then looked at Dex (who I sit next to & behind Lan) & saw him typing on his P.E.T. with a blush on his face. He then waved at his screen. I rolled my eyes*
Gwen:*in her mind* He probably sent GutsMan to give Roll a message for Maylu.
(Dawn's POV)
*I had just met the NetNavi belonging to Gwen's friend Maylu, Roll. We were hanging out into the school's computer system when a big NetNavi, came up to us*
Roll: Hey there, GutsMan, how's it rolling?
GutsMan: Dex likes Maylu. Wants take her to movies. Guts.
Roll: Ah, come on, get real, GutsMan. She has piano lessons.
GutsMan: No movies?
Roll: No way.
GutsMan: Hmm . . . Then GutsMan will take Roll and new girl to movies
Roll & Dawn: What?
GutsMan: GutsMan think Roll and new girl nice and pretty. *he wrapped both of us in a hug* What Roll and new girl think of GutsMan.
*I blushed a little in embarrassment*
Dawn: Well . . . I . . . Um . . .
*Before I could think of anything to say, Roll beat me to it*
Roll: I'll show you what I think! Roll Blast!
*She hit him with her antennae, knocking him back*
(Gwen's POV)
*Maylu & I held in our giggles as Dex stood up & groaned*
Miss Mari: Settle down, Dex. The bell hasn't rung yet. If you're going to be sending email messages, do it after school. *the rest of our classmates laughed* Okay, everybody. Let's get back to the lesson. As I was explaining earlier . . .
*I looked at my brother, who was talking to MegaMan*
Lan:*whispering* An Evil Net Navi?
MegaMan:*off-screen**whispering* Yeah. That's what it looked like to me, and it was interlace with the cyber fire.
*I remembered Dawn telling me the same thing as I was getting ready for school*
Lan:*whispering* Then the operator of that NetNavi is the one responsible for causing all those terrible fires.
MegaMan:*off-screen**whispering* You got that right.
*We both started to look serious*
(Third-Person POV)
*In an unknown location, an old man with grey hair, a grey mustache, tan skin, black eyes, & wearing grey, red & brown clothes & holding a can with a skull at the top was talking to a man with red hair, tan skin, brown eyes, & wearing a dark purple jumpsuit over a magenta long sleeved shirt, & brown boots on a holographic screen*
Mr. Match: Your fire viruses were destroyed by two wee blue & purple blokes.
Mr. Wily: Was it two do-gooder Net Agents that short circuited my plans?
Mr. Match: Nope. Two NetNavis. I'll wager a cart full of kilts on it.
Mr. Wily: Mr. Match. If they show up again . . . I want you to delete them!
Mr. Match: Aye. Mr. Wily.
*The screen disappeared*
(Gwen's POV)
*Later, after school, me & Lan met Dex in one of the study hall rooms*
Lan: Here it goes Dex. Jack in! MegaMan! Power Up!
Gwen: Jack in! Dawn! Power Up!
Dex: Jack in! GutsMan! Power up! *we jacked our P.E.T.s into the terminal & our NetNavis met in the arena* Give me a break, guys! Your personal NetNavis are those two wimps!
Lan: They're not wimpy! He's MegaMan!
Gwen: And her name's Dawn!
Dex:*laugh* You really think you can beat MY GutsMan with those teensy Nat Navis!
Lan: You know . . . You can give up now if you want Dex.
Dex: You're the ones who will give up! GutsMan! Time to show these little Navis who's best!
Gwen: We'll see about that.
Lan: Go get him Megaman!
Gwen: You can you it, Dawn!
*The words "Battle Start" appeared on the floor of the arena*
GutsMan: Guts, Guts, Gutsman! He the best!
MegaMan: Bring it on!
Dawn: We won't lose!
*MegaMan & Gwen dodged punches from GutsMan. Soon, they were cornered*
Dex: Guts Thump battle chip, in! Download! *GutsMan's hand grew bigger & we both got nervous* It's all over. *suddenly, just before GutsMan could hit him, MegaMan caught his giant fist* What!?
Gwen: Oh yeah!
Lan: Alright, MegaMan! Blast him!
MegaMan: Yeah!
*He threw GutsMan back & attacked his with a barrage of punches. He then kicked him in the face, knocking him back again. Dawn then jumped high in the air*
Dawn: Angel Feather Barrage!
*She sent a flurry of feathers at GutsMan*
Dex: Get up! Get up, GutsMan! Don't let those little wimps beat you!
Lan: Wait till you see this. Cyber sword battle chip, in -
Roll:*off-screen* Someone help! *we all froze. just then, Roll appeared in-between GutsMan, Dawn, & MegaMan**on-screen* It's Maylu she's in trouble!
MegaMan: Maylu? What kind of trouble?
Roll: Here's the uplink! *she made a holographic image appear. it showed Maylu coughing with smoke all around her* Everything exploded into flames!
Dex This can't be happening!
Lan: It is happening! MegaMan, listen! You've gotta cyber like there through the internet!
MegaMan: Transmitting!
Gwen: Dawn, you do the same!
Dawn: Y - Yes!
MegaMan: All right, girls! Let's do this now!
*All three of them disappeared*
Dex: You go too, GutsMan!
GutsMan: Guts.
*GutsMan followed after them*
*Soon, we were all zooming down the street. Me & Lan on our skates & Dex on his scooter*
(Dawn's POV)
*We soon arrived at the oven's terminal, & saw everything on fire*
MegaMan: Talk about a Firewall!
(Third-Person POV)
*In an unknown location, Mr. Match was watching the battle*
Mr. Match: Well blister me bagpipes. TorchMan, delete those annoying NetNavis.
TorchMan:*off-screen* Consider them scorched!
(Dawn's POV)
*My brother had just destroyed the last two viruses*
MegaMan: Those were the last two.
Roll: You stopped them just in time, MegaMan.
*Suddenly, suddenly, a fireball came flying towards us. Luckily, MegaMan grabbed Roll & we jumped out of the way just before it hit the ground*
Dawn: Who could be doing this!?
*The fire's then parted to a reveal a red & grey robot with flames coming out of his head*
TorchMan: TorchMan, little girl. Time to bring things to a boil.
(Gwen's POV)
*We arrived at Maylu's house. We turned on the fire alarm & opened a window to let the smoke out. We then found Maylu & helped her to her feet
Gwen: Maylu, are you alright!?
Lan: Maylu, speak to us!
*She looked at us*
Maylu: I'm okay.
*We got her outside just as Dex pulled up on his scooter*
Dex: Maylu!
*Maylu was coughing & so were we. Just then, we heard our P.E.T.s ringing. We looked at them & saw the word "Caution" on the screen. They were blocking attacks from a Fire NetNavi, but got knocked back*
Lan: MegaMan!
Gwen: Dawn!
Lan: We've got to upload Battle Chips to them before it's too late!
Gwen: Dex, we're leaving Maylu with you!
*We ran back into the house*
Dex:*off-screen* Wait, guys! No!
*We got knocked back by an attack from TorchMan, who laughed as he walked closet to us. We struggled to stand up*
GutsMan: GutsMan, coming!
*He ran towards TorchMan*
MegaMan: No, wait GutsMan!
Dawn: Come back!
*He didn't listen. TorchMan hit him with all three of his fire cannons & he was badly damaged*
GutsMan Logging Out!
*I covered my mouth in horror. Without him, we were vulnerable*
(Gwen's POV)
*Lan & I had our mouths covered with handkerchiefs as we made our way to the oven. We then took a deep breath & plugged in our P.E.T.s*
(Dawn's POV)
*MegaMan was blocking another attack from TorchMan, when my wings fluttered a little & my brother's helmet lit up*
Gwen:*off-screen* Dawn, I'm here. Are you okay?
Dawn: Yes. I'm alright.
Lan:*off-screen* Ya ready Megaman?
MegaMan: It's Mega Time!
Lan:*off-screen* Let's go! Blaster Battle Chip in! Download!
*TorchMan looked surprised as my brother's arm turned into a blaster. He fired a shot at TorchMan, which turned into multiple lasers*
Gwen:*off-screen* Our turn! Angel Harp Battle Chip in! Download!
*A purple harp (look up "Angel Harp" by "SwanGirl24" on "DeviantArt") appeared in my hands. I jumped in the air & strummed a few notes*
Dawn: Harp String Attack!
*A few strings shot out of the harp & whipped TorchMan back*
Lan:*off-screen* Now try this! Cyber Sword Battle Chip in! Download!
*My brother's arm then turned into a sword. He then ran towards TorchMan & sliced his right arm off. He looked at MegaMan & then at me*
Mr. Match:*off-screen* Log out, TorchMan!
*He put his arms up & disappeared*
TorchMan Logging Out!
*As soon as he was gone, I ran up to my brother*
Dawn: Are you okay?
MegaMan: Yeah. You?
Dawn: I'm okay.
*Just then, Roll ran up to us & hugged us*
Roll: You did it!
*We all smiled & laughed*
(Gwen's POV)
*The ambulance soon arrived to take Maylu to the hospital. Dex was crying about GutsMan being badly damaged*
Lan: I'm so relieved Maylu wasn't hurt.
Gwen: Same here.
*We took out our P.E.T.s*
Lan: And I gotta say, we've got you and Dawn to thank, MegaMan.
Gwen: Yeah. You guys really saved the day.
MegaMan: Hey, come on. We didn't take on old smoke n' choke all by ourselves. You two came up with all the moves.
Dawn: That's right. We did this as a team.
Lan: So you'll always be there to help us no matter what?
MegaMan: Just ask.
Lan: Well, in that case. You can do my homework for tomorrow. And make it snappy.
MegaMan: You'll never be an adventurer or scientist if you don't do it yourself.
Lan: Hey, have you been taking to my Mom or what? I don't have to take this from you! You can be reprogrammed!
MegaMan:*laugh* Nice try, Lan. Better get started.
*Dawn & I laughed as we watched our brothers fight each other*
Gwen: I think we better stay out of this one.
Dawn: I agree.
*I skated away, heading for home*
