Clara, Kerori, Elizabetta and Ameri followed Iruma down the aisle of the hardware store before Iruma stopped and looked back with a confused look crossing his face, "Uh…you girls do know that even if I wanted to go for a drink, I can't because I have to change all the locks in the mansion an-"

"We know, Iruma, we're just making sure you don't do anything reckless," Ameri crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes slightly, "We all know you were the one to give up everything for Kanna, and to have her do that…we're just worried about you," Iruma frowned and nodded before he turned and continued to walk down the aisle and the others followed him.

SO

Clara, Ameri, Kerori and Elizabetta sat in the living room, watching as Iruma replaced the lock on the front door, "You know you girls can go home, right? You don't need to watch me like this. I'm sure you have something better to do an-"

"No way, Iruma-kins, we're not leaving you alone at all," Clara smiled and Iruma looked back at his female best friend of fourteen years and slightly smiled at her, "Pinky and Azz-Azz were mean to you and little Kanna was wrong, so I'm not leaving my Iruma-kins alone after all that," Ameri, Elizabetta and Kerori looked at her as Clara continued to smile, "Now are you going to finish up or what, Iruma-kins?" Iruma hummed and nodded before turning his back towards them and continued changing the lock.

Putting the tools away, Iruma stood up and stretched, "So now what?" Iruma looked back in confusion as Kerori sighed and shook her head, "What are you going to do now? You changed the locks, so what's the next step?"

"I don't know…I doubt they'll come back here, but I didn't want to take any chances so…I don't know,"

The four frowned before Elizabetta slightly smiled and stood up, "Why don't we go out and enjoy today," Iruma looked at his former classmate in confusion, "I doubt Haruno, Asmodeus and Kanna will bother stopping by the mansion this soon after the final hearing an-" Ameri lightly jabbed her elbow into Elizabetta's sighed and the tall beauty looked at her as Ameri gestured to Iruma who had his head down, "Oh…I didn't mean it like that, Iruma, I was just suggesting we go out and forget about all that's happened lately and enjoy ourselves…just…you know…no going to a bar or anything like that?"

"Last night was the first time I went to the bar in a while, and I told you and the bartender told you that I only had a couple of drinks…but yeah…let's skip the bar and just go out and enjoy today," the others nodded before standing up and the five of them walked out of the mansion, Iruma closing and locking the door behind them before they began walking down the street.

SO

Iruma sat under a tree in the park while Ameri, Elizabetta and Kerori sat on the swings and Clara stood next to them, the four of them staring at Iruma, "He's really upset about this, isn't he?" Ameri thought out loud.

"You can't expect him to bounce right back," Kerori sighed, hanging her head, "He lost his grandfather, their butler and his own daughter wanted him to disown her so Asmodeus can adopt her…he's had a rough few months to say the least,"

"And we want to make sure he doesn't go and drink himself into a coma or worse, but we don't know how to get through to him when he's like this," Elizabetta frowned before Clara narrowed her eyes and walked over to Iruma, "Uh…Clara, what are you doing?"

Clara walked up to Iruma and sat down beside him, resting her head on his shoulder, "I'm fine, Clara, no need to come and check on me,"

"You're not fine, Iruma-kins…you're my best friend and I know when you're hurting, and you're hurting…so…do you want to talk about it?"

Iruma slightly smiled as he reached over and patted the top of her head, "A childlike wonder even after all these years and you can still find a way to comfort me…thanks Clara," Clara faintly smiled as Iruma sighed and wrapped an arm around her and rubbed her back, "I'm just having some bad luck is all, Clara…once this month is over, I'm hoping life will return to some normality and I can forget about all that's happened," Clara smiled and nodded.

The others watched from the swings and Ameri's eyes widened, "I don't get it. How is it that she can put him in a better mood no matter what?"

"Why are you surprised?" Elizabetta smiled as she looked at the two, "Those two have been joined at the hip since they met back in high school, and Iruma was probably too ignorant to notice how hurt Clara was while he was with Haruno, but now that she's out of his life, hopefully everything can go back to the way they were before." The others silently nodded in agreement as they continued to watch the two.

SO

Dark storm clouds began forming overhead as the five raced down the street as rain began to fall from the sky, "Sorry everyone!" Iruma panted and the four looked at him in confusion, "If I had known it was going to rain, I would've drove us to the park instead,"

"Don't worry, Iruma-kins," Clara smiled at her best friend, "We didn't know it was going to rain and we wanted to help you feel better," Iruma slowly nodded as the five of them continued to run down the street as the rain began to fall faster and heavier.

SO

The five, stood in the doorway with towels under them, shivered as rain water dripped onto the towels. Iruma looked up and slightly smiled, "I'll get everyone a change of clothes in a bit here," the four nodded as they continued to slightly shiver.
