A/N: Sorry about this story. I was blocked and could not come up with anything for this chapter. At least I'm updating it before the end of the year. I don't own any characters except my own.

Ed officially retired from the NYPD and Olivia and Hank were having his party at their house. They weren't expecting too many people and he didn't really want a big fuss made about it anyway, so it was just going to be Olivia's squad, Barba, Trevor and the family. After the party, Olive and the kids were heading to the Hamptons with Trevor for a week. Everyone arrived for the party and were all out in the backyard by the time Ed, Diana and Kara got there.

"There he is."

"Here I am."

"Congratulations, Tucker!"

"Thanks. I'm looking forward to spending more time with my daughter before she goes back to school."

"Well, that gives you a couple months."

"Exactly. Thanks for doing this, Liv."

"No problem."

"So, Kara, are you all settled in?"

"Yeah. I have my room the way I want it."

"That's great."

"What are everyone's plans for the 4th?"

"Hank, the kids and I are staying here and Ed, Diana and Kara are coming over."

"What about Olive and the kids?"

"They are heading to the Hamptons with Trevor after the party."

"Are they definitely a thing?"

"She's not quite ready for something yet but Trevor's best friend Mark and his wife Victoria invited Trevor there for the 4th and there's a house that he wants to look at. They are staying for the week. His wife is Olive's age and their 2 kids are around the ages of Olive's 3."

"There's nothin' wrong with them having feelings for each other."

"That's what we keep telling her. He is so good with the kids and that makes Hank happy. Trevor was here when Dan and Nicole brought the kids back. They like Trevor and Nicole's sister is married to a guy 20 years older than her, so it wouldn't be the first time that it has happened in her family. Trevor has been so protective of her ever since that incident with that guy."

"You can't blame him for that."

"I would rather have her with someone we know and trust. My biggest concern is being a part of my grandkids' lives if Olive were to eventually get married again. If she ended up with anyone else, I'd have to have Olivia do a background check on him. After what just happened to her, we can't be too careful."

"That's true."

"Where's Olive now?"

"She's packing. I'll be right back."

Olivia went into the house and went upstairs to Olive's bedroom. She knocked on the door.

"Come on in."

Olivia opened the door and went in and Olive was sitting on the bed.

"Everything ok?"

"I don't know that I can do this."

"Trevor understands that you may not necessarily be ready to be intimate at this point."

"Yeah, about that. It already happened yesterday. It was amazing but a part of me feels like I cheated on Justin. It's only been just over a year."

"Do you love Trevor?"

"I have very strong feelings for him but we haven't exactly said it. What if this doesn't work out?"

There was another knock at the door.

"Come in, Hank."

Hank opened the door and walked in.

"How'd you know it was me?"

"Lucky guess."

"What's going on, kiddo?"

"I don't want you to hate me for this but I slept with Trevor last night but a part of me feels like I'm cheating on Justin. It just sort of happened and was not planned."

"Does he know that you feel guilty about it?"

"No."

"Kiddo, you need to tell him how you feel."

"The last thing I want to do is hurt him."

"How do you feel about him?"

"I have very strong feelings for him but what if it doesn't work out? What if he decides to find someone else because I can't make up my mind?"

"Something tells me that Trevor isn't like that. In all the years I have known him, I have never seen him this serious about anyone before."

"What if I'm never truly ready to move on?"

"If you weren't thinking about it, I doubt what happened last night would have happened. I had a hard time moving on after Camille died. It took me 4 years to realize I wanted to move on but it was 6 years before I did anything about it and I was almost too late. You're young and you still have your whole life ahead of you. Justin didn't want you to be alone for the rest of your life and I think he'd be fine with Trevor. Daniel and the twins need a father and Trevor is a good guy."

"I didn't expect Daniel to take to him the way he has. I want him to know Justin even though he was only a year old when his daddy died."

"That is the best thing you can do. I just want you to know that if you ever decide to remarry, I'm ok with whoever it is making it official with the kids too."

"Thanks."

Hank hugged Olive and kissed Olivia before he went back downstairs.

"Honestly, I didn't expect him to be so supportive of this."

"He's becoming a softy in his old age."

"He must be."

"Ok, now that he's gone, I want details."

Olive told Olivia what had happened between her and Trevor and after Olive was done getting their stuff together, they joined everyone outside. Trevor was there and pushing Daniel on the swing, so Olive joined them. Hank was grilling the food.

"So, Edward, how does it feel to not have to do the cop thing anymore?"

"It hasn't really hit me yet. We will see how I am on Monday morning when I don't have to get up."

"You still have plenty to do around the house."

"Oh, yeah, I know."

"I wish Chief Dodds would retire."

"So do I but at least I have IAB on my side for a change and she has seen how he is."

"It took me a while but I was eventually on your side."

"That is true."

Trevor had gone to sit down, so Olivia went to join him.

"Hey."

"Hey."

"I talked to Olive."

"That's what she said."

"Is something bothering you?"

"Not really."

"Talk to me, Trevor."

"As amazing as things were last night, I don't want her to end up hating me or think that things are moving too fast."

"I'm pretty sure she doesn't. She's an adult and capable of making up her own mind."

"I can think of one person who will probably want to kill me if he finds out what happened last night."

"You overestimate him. He knows and he's fine with it. She was honest with him about what happened. He told her that if she decides to remarry, he's ok with whoever she decides to marry also making it official with the kids. He said you're a good guy. Olive came over to them, since Kara and Amanda were keeping an eye on the kids.

"Daniel is really excited about the beach."

"Good."

"I'm looking forward to it too."

"I am too. Do you think things are moving too fast between us?"

"Honestly, no. If I did, what happened last night never would have happened. I don't really know what this is between us right now but if it ends up being a friends with benefits thing for now, I'm good with that. I'm guessing what happened last night will probably happen again. At least I want it to happen again. The feelings are definitely there though. Ever since we met, you have been amazing and believe me, I want to see where this will eventually go. I didn't expect my son to become as attached to you as he has. I just don't want you to become frustrated with me and decide to get with someone else."

"I also want to see where this goes and I want what happened last night to happen again too."

Hank brought the food over.

"Everything ok?"

"Yeah."

"Hank, thank you again for being so understanding about this."

"No problem."

Hank went inside and then Olivia followed him.

"You ok, Honey?"

"Yeah. I just really want to make love to you right now. That's all. It seems like it's been a while."

"I love that idea and I know it seems like it has been a while because I've been working a lot lately. I am going to try to be home more often. I think we should wait until everyone is gone though."

"We will still have Noah and Rachel though."

"That has never stopped us before."

Hank and Olivia started kissing and then Fin came in.

"Hey!"

"We're busy."

"The kids are hungry."

"You know where everything is."

Fin took some of the stuff out and then Hank and Olivia brought the rest of it out. Everyone ate and a little while later, they went into the pool.

"Liv, Hank, thanks again for this."

"You're welcome but it was Diana's idea."

"Guilty. Liv, you look tired."

"Yeah. It's been crazy ever since we've been back from Paris and we even added Jeff. I'm still limited as to what I can do because of my foot but I do interrogations and hospital visits."

"Don't burn yourself out. Your unit is the least of my worries."

"That's good to know. We always used to have IAB breathing down our necks and watching us very closely."

"Yeah, no kidding especially when Stabler and Amaro were around. I'm one of the few people in SVU that was never investigated by IAB."

"Thanks for rubbing that in, Fin."

"Yeah, really. Diana, do you have time to observe us?"

"Actually, I have been wanting to do that for a while and haven't gotten around to it yet. I will check my schedule and let you know."

"Ok."

"Like you, I've been playing catch up since we returned from Paris. The two of us will have to schedule a time to go to lunch sometime too."

"Sounds like a plan to me.

"Are we invited?"

"No. Just us girls."

"Well, fine. Be that way."

"I see you all the time."

"I'm the one that should complain. Last night was the first time since we've been back that Olivia was home to help put the kids to bed."

"I promise I will make more of an effort to be home sooner."

"Believe me, I understand. I used to be the same way and I really don't miss it."

"Liv, if we get calls at weird times, just call me and the 4 of us will handle it."

"Fin, speak for yourself. I have a kid too. Remember?"

"I know that, Rollins."

"Don't yell at her, Fin."

"I'm not yellin' at her, Carisi."

"Maybe not but you're now yellin' at me."

"Guys, please stop. We've all been working a lot lately but that's no reason to start arguing about it."

"Sorry, Liv."

"Just so you know, I am planning to take off all week. I need a break."

"Got it."

Olivia got out of the pool, grabbed her towel and decided to go into the house. She went up to the bedroom and then Hank followed her after he grabbed his towel.

"You ok, Babe?"

"They're driving me nuts."

"Come here."

Olivia moved closer to Hank and then he wrapped his arms around her.

"Lock the door."

Hank went to lock the door. They started kissing, removed their swimsuits, got on the bed and made love. Afterwards he had his arms wrapped around her and she had her head on his chest.

"You feel better?"

"Yes. Thank you."

"I feel better too."

"Good. I am really sorry about working so much."

"No big deal. If anyone understands that, I do."

"I love you."

"I love you too."

"So, you're really ok with what happened between Olive and Trevor?"

"Yeah. All I care about is that she's happy, which she seems to be around him. If it results in more, all I ask is that I am still a part of the kids' lives."

"She was so worried that you'd hate her because of what happened."

"It's not like he's a serial killer or rapist."

"He really is a great guy. It took me years to realize that, just like with Ed."

"I wasn't sure about Ed at first considering he's your ex but I have to say, he's good for Diana and Kara."

"He's not a bad brother-in-law."

"No, he's not."

They kissed again and then they got up to get dressed before going back outside. After a while, they gave Ed his gifts and then everyone started leaving after Ed thanks everyone. Trevor decided to leave his car at Hank and Olivia's, so they would take Olive's SUV to the Hamptons.
