A/N: I would just like to make one thing perfectly clear, Stabler will not be appearing in this story. I normally don't put him in my stories unless the storyline fits (as it did in Townhouse Incident – The Crossover and in some cases, Benson & Voight One Shots by Request) and honestly, I'm not really a fan of his. As I have mentioned before, I am normally not a fan of Tucker or his relationship with Olivia but I felt I could expand more on their platonic relationship after the breakup and his friendship with Hank. I don't own any of the characters except my own.

It was Halloween and Kara had stayed home from school, so she could be off of her foot. Hank had taken Noah, Rachel and Daniel out. Ed's sister took Kelly out with her friends. Kelly had told Kara that she would get her some candy if she could. Hank, Olivia and Olive knew the kids would not be eating all of their candy, so they would give some of it to Kara. Diana, Olivia and Olive had come home from work early and then once the kids were done, they went over to Hank and Olivia's before the party at the pub. Ed and Kara were already there.

"Hello."

"Hey. How'd it go?"

"Not bad. They did pretty good for their first time."

"Good."

"How are you feeling, Sweetie?"

"I'm ok, I guess. It hurts."

"It probably will for a while."

"Kara, we missed you in school today but I got your assignments for the rest of the week."

"Thanks."

"Sure. We have a math test on Monday."

Kara rolled her eyes.

"That sounds like fun."

"I know, right?"

"Where's Connor?"

"He's out trick or treating with his friends but he will be joining us at the pub. He never misses this."

"We're looking forward to it."

"Amanda and Sonny said they would be there with Jesse and Fin said he might show up for the heck of it but I have a feeling he will show up because there's food."

"Great. What about Jeff?"

"He wasn't sure."

"Is Trevor coming?"

"He said he was."

"What about Adrienne?"

"She said she might stop by for dinner. I never know with her sometimes. I'm still hoping she'll be able to watch the twins when we go to the waterpark for Rachel's birthday."

"The kids got so excited when Eddie told them they were going that weekend. If you get into a bind and your aunt can't watch them, my parents will be more than happy to watch them or anyone in our family for that matter. If Dan and I weren't going away that weekend, we'd take them."

"Dan has told me that many times. My parents are still talking about moving here once my dad retires at the end of the year, so that will be extra people to watch the kids. Trevor's mom has offered too. That weekend though, they're going to be gone."

"Are you still unsure what this is with Trevor?"

"Basically. All I know is that he is absolutely amazing and he has told me he will wait as long as he has too. He knows he's old enough to be my dad."

"I assume the sex is amazing?"

"Oh, yeah!"

"Geez, Erin! Don't be so damn nosy."

"I've always been like that and you should know that better than anyone else."

"Of course I do. I've only known you for 45 years. You've always been the nosiest one of the six of us."

"If anyone ever wanted to find anything out, they always came to me."

"Yeah, true. You used to pretend to be asleep and then eavesdrop on conversations."

"I outgrew that."

"You still know everything that goes on with us though."

"I'm supposed to but I trust you and your brother completely. I am so glad you're a part of the family again. We all missed you."

"Yeah, I missed all of you too. Like I said, I just didn't know how everyone felt about me after what happened last year with Eugene."

"He was just hiding behind the collar and I don't doubt that he would have let you take the blame for all of it. There has always been something off with him."

"My squad would have figured it out eventually. Carisi was the one that got him to turn himself in."

"Yeah, I know and I appreciate all the support."

"Olivia, I have to say, I wouldn't have minded having you for a sister-in-law either."

"I cared about Ed and still do but my heart was really with Hank all along. I'm glad Ed is still a big part of my life and that he and Hank get along as well as they do because otherwise it could have been awkward. Of course Diana is one of Hank's closest friends as well as my half-sister. We also have a half-brother Simon but he usually only contacts me when he wants something, usually money. He's been in trouble for drugs."

"That must be tough."

"Yeah, it is."

"Diana, do you ever wish you had more kids?"

"Yes and no. At this point, there is no way I would want to have a baby at my age. I'd consider adoption though."

"How about you, big brother?"

"Yeah, I would be open to that."

"Do you ever wish you had one of your own though?"

"Until I started seeing Olivia and got to know Noah, I never had much interest in wanting a family. I love being an uncle to all of my nieces and nephews, which now includes Noah and Rachel but at this stage of my life, I don't want an infant."

"I'd like us to think about becoming foster parents."

"I'd be all for that."

Everyone headed to the pub. They got out of their vehicles and went inside.

"Hey."

"Hey, Junior."

"Hi Grandma."

"Hi Sweetie. How's your ankle?"

"It still hurts."

"It probably will for a while. How are you, Olivia?"

"I'm doing much better but I'm still taking things one day at a time. Thanks for asking and thank you so much for inviting us."

"You are very welcome."

Ed introduced everyone to the rest of the family. Everyone else who was coming arrived and part of what they did was make homemade pizzas, which Carisi helped with.

"How can someone who grew up in a family that owns a pub not know anything about cooking?"

"Mom wouldn't let the 3 of us or Pop anywhere near the kitchen unless it was to do dishes."

Ed's father and brothers laughed at his comment.

"So true."

"Are you trying to teach him to cook?"

"I'd like him to learn. He's pretty good with the grill though."

"So are the rest of us."

"I love that Sonny cooks for me."

"I love that Hank does all the cooking. Olive is a great cook too. When I was with Ed, we ordered in or did takeout."

"You don't cook at all?"

"Not really. I can cook pasta though."

"Well, that's a start. If any of you want to learn, including you, Junior, let me know."

"Ok."

While the pizzas were in the oven, everyone that wanted to carved their own pumpkins, which was mostly the kids and Carisi. Hank, Olivia and Trevor helped Noah, Rachel and Daniel and Amanda helped Jesse.

"Rollins, what do you see in him?"

"He's good with my daughter, Fin and he treats me better than most men ever have."

"Fin, just stop! If you're going to complain, then why are you even here?"

"I had to eat, didn't I?"

Olivia rolled her eyes at Fin.

"Ok, I'm sorry."

"I'm sure you are."

"Everything ok with you two?"

"Yeah."

Fin got up, went over to Olivia and kissed her on the cheek. Then he did the same with Amanda.

"I'm just lookin' out for both of you like I always have."

"Thank you."

"Yeah, thanks."

"How long have all of you worked together?"

"Fin and I have worked together for 18 years. Amanda joined us 6 years ago and Carisi has been with us 3 years. They're also a part of my family. For the longest time, my squad was the only family I had but now I have a husband, kids, grandkids, a sister and a niece. My mom was an alcoholic and died falling down the stairs as she came out of a bar. Diana and I may only share the same father but we've become close."

"She's right about that."

"We've heard her story."

"Mine is basically the same. He apparently messed up both of them because of what he did and they both resented their daughters. Simon was the only one that he was a father to."

"Where is this Simon?"

"I haven't heard from him in years. He only contacts me when he wants something, usually money. He's an addict."

"He's as bad as Kim. Every time she shows up, she has a plan and she never thinks of the consequences when that so-called plan almost costs me my job."

"Was that the Jeff Parker incident?"

"Yes, Ma'am. We were always guilty until proven innocent as far as IAB was concerned."

"So true."

"I can only imagine."

Colleen looked at Ed and shook her head. Diana did too.

"Just doin' my job."

"You look good, Eddie."

"Thanks. I'm enjoying my retirement and spending time with my daughter. I completely understand what Diana goes through day in and day out, since she has my former job."

"What made you decide to retire?"

"I had actually thought about putting my papers in last year around the time of the investigation because I had a feeling I was going to lose everything I had worked for. I'm grateful that I was cleared but it also made me see things differently. I was with Olivia then and I know mostly everyone within the NYPD didn't think much of me because of how hard I was on them and no one would have cared if had gotten sent to jail. Part of my reasoning for leaving IAB was because of that and the other part was because of Olivia. We never disclosed our relationship and even though her unit did the investigation, she was transferred out of the unit temporarily because of me. We were both to blame for it and ADA Barba had every right to go to 1PP."

"Yet you two are friends now."

"That's true."

"Did you and Diana disclose your relationship?"

"Yeah, we did early on. After what I had been though with the investigation and with my relationship with Olivia, I didn't want to take any more chances. That was also the main reason why I retired because I didn't want people to think she was treating me any differently because we were together. When Olivia's boss' son was shot and killed almost a year and a half ago, she expected me to investigate it. She didn't need that but there was no reason why it should have been because no one except Gary Munson was at fault. Olivia did nothing wrong and neither did Dodds. I wanted to be there for her the way she was there for me during the investigation. We broke up shortly after that and she and Hank got together but Hank and I have become friends. He knows I still care about Olivia and he cares for Diana because they have known each other for years."

"That whole thing you were investigated for was stupid. That was Eugene though. He would do stuff and the rest of us would get blamed for it."

"Oh yeah, I know. A part of me didn't know how the family would take this whole thing. I know Mom, Pop and my siblings have all said they would have supported me over him."

"We all would have. He used becoming a priest to his advantage and hid behind the collar. That's all. None of us were really all that surprised when he was arrested. The entire family feels that way."

"If Olivia hadn't been there, I probably would have beat the crap out of him. I don't care who he thinks he is."

"He got what he deserved and you're finally happy. That's all that really matters."

"Yeah, I am happy. Diana makes me happy and I love being a dad. I'm also glad I have my family in my life again."

"Kara and I are glad for that too. She loves having grandparents."

"We love her as much as we love the rest of our grandchildren."

"That's one thing I wish our kids had."

"You're all family now, so we would love to help out in any way we can. If you want someone to take the kids for the weekend if you and Hank need to get away, please don't hesitate to call any of us."

"Thank you. We really appreciate that."

"That includes you too, Olive."

"Thank you."

Once the pizzas were ready, they all ate and had a good time. The kids played games and they had anything they wanted for dessert. It was starting to get late. Most of the kids all had school the next day and most of the adults had to go to work. Olive had left earlier with the twins but Daniel had stayed with Hank and Olivia. He was already asleep and so was Rachel. Ed and Diana went to Hank and Olivia's before they went home. Olive had already fallen asleep by the time they got home, so they were glad to have an extra set of hands to help get the kids in the house and Noah had fallen asleep before they got home anyway. Ed carried Noah into the house and took him up to his room. He left and drove home, while Hank and Olivia put the kids in their pajamas. Olivia went to get ready for bed, while Hank went to make sure everything was locked up. He went back upstairs and got ready for bed. He then joined Olivia in bed.

"I had fun tonight."

"I did too. Ed has a huge family."

"Yeah, no kidding. I don't know that I could have handled all of them when I was with him."

"Diana and Kara love it though."

"That's quite obvious. I'm glad you're my family."

"I'm glad you're mine too."

Hank kissed Olivia.

"Hank."

"Yeah?"

"I want you."

"You sure?"

"Yeah. It has been so long since we last did this."

"Ok"

Hank got out of bed to make sure their door was locked and then he got back into bed with Olivia. They undressed each other and then they made love. Afterwards Hank had his arms around her and she had her head on his chest.

"I've missed this."

"I have too."

"I love you, Honey."

"I love you too, Babe."

"Is it selfish of me to wish that Erin, Jay and Camille would move here?"

"No. I want the same thing but they're not going to live in this house. We have enough people living here already. A part of me wishes Al and Meredith would move here too."

"I can see you, Al and Ed causing trouble together."

"Al said he's ready to retire. That would be hard on Antonio though to lose 3 people in the unit though."

"I'm sure I could find something for Jay somewhere and I wouldn't mind having Erin in SVU."

"Erin would love to work for you. Then whether or not she returns to work wouldn't be an issue because she'd have me."

"Poor Lucy. If we bring in anymore kids, she's going to quit. Jesse is here all the time now and if the Halsteads move here, that's another one."

"It's not like I'm not here and Ed is here every day. If Al and Meredith would move here, Meredith could still help with Camille."

"True. This is all just speculation anyway."

"Yeah, it is."

"Did they call his dad?"

"No. After he told Jay that he basically need to grow up and be responsible for his actions, Jay said he really didn't even care anymore. Nothing he ever did was good enough for his dad. Will and Nat aren't even married but he spends a lot of time with Owen and he isn't even his grandson. Camille is his flesh and blood but he acts like he doesn't want to be bothered with her and that's probably because she's Jay's. There were a lot of tears on Erin's part when I was getting ready to leave yesterday and I get she is still emotional but something tells me she would not think twice about leaving Chicago."

"Her only family except her husband and daughter is in New York. It was hard for me to leave when I was out there and that was mostly because you were staying."

"I missed you like crazy."

"We missed you too. Did you talk to Erin today?"

"Yeah. She called me a couple times."

"Good. I would love to get away for a weekend or even a week without the kids."

"I would too, actually. Would you take Colleen up on her offer?"

"I would probably start with Olive or Ed and Diana. If Lucy wants time off from our kids and grandkids, so she can spend time with Jesse, that's fine."

"We would need someone with them during the day and take Noah to Preschool. At least when you take him to school, Lucy is here."

"We can talk to everyone once we make plans."

"That sounds like a plan to me. I would love to go to Hawaii."

"I'll see what I can do."

"I should get some sleep, since I do need to get up in the morning."

"Ok."

Olivia kissed Hank and then they fell asleep in each other's arms.
